I have first hand information that the patients enjoy his office as much as mine. There are so many awful reviews on here but honestly this place was much better than the last place I've been to. Yes going to a professional body smoosher is expensive but you really need to pay attention to every detail if you are concerned about your health. In comparison I was paying roughly the same amount at my last chiropractor and they didn't provide the attention and care that I received here. Dr. Z has been helping me recover and relieving my pain. If you're not convinced, up front the consultation may be a bit expensive but you get a clear picture of how your health is and what they can do to fix it with bonuses to decrease the cost if it's available.

I have been going to chiropractors off and on for my entire life and Dr Zielonka is certainly one of the best. He always has time to answer any extra questions I have and his office staff is friendly, courteous and always super helpful. When I first went to see him I was a little nervous that I would be preached at about his natural health ideologies, but Dr. Zielonka is not at all pushy or preachy, and only ever brings the topic up if I ask a question that is directly related. I highly recommend him to anyone that is struggling with neck or back pain, is tired of just managing the symptoms and wants a real solution.

Unlike many of the other reviews here that talk about fixing headaches and back pain I first met Dr. Zielonka when he was presenting a lecture on vitamins at the health and wellness expo here in Ottawa. After the lecture I spoke to him at length and was taken aback at how knowledgeable and down to earth he was. He was able to answer questions that none of my other doctors could. I then read his book The Science of Vitamins and since then have been following all of his advice. I am off both my stain medication and blood pressure pills and I feel the best I have in 10 years. Thank-you for sharing your knowledge Dr. Z. I feel blessed to have met you.

Was visiting this beautiful town and woke up with a pain in my neck from the hotel pillow. The concierge recommended Dr John at Ottawa Chiropractic and boy am I glad he did! I know most people may not feel amazing after one visit but I am 100 percent pain free. This doctor worked a miracle on my neck! My experience with Dr. John Zielonka is one that I must share as I have never had such an experience with any doctor before. First, let me tell you that I have only known Dr. Zielonka for 30 minutes yet the impression he made on me will last forever. I just returned today from a vacation in Punta Cana. While I was down there I seriously hurt myself on a very rough landing parasailing. The doctors down there didn’t help and it pretty much messed up my vacation. Then one day at lunch this guy comes up out of the blue and asks me what happened as I was obviously hurt. It was Dr. Zielonka. He introduced himself and asked my permission if he could help. He also explained that he was limited because he couldn’t do all the testing he normally would if I were in his center. After many questions and a number of tests he was able to do a few procedures that significantly eased my pain. He also told me a number of simple things I could do to help myself. I am still amazed on so many levels. 1) How much better I felt. 2) How thorough Dr. Zielonka was 3) How caring he was. Most doctors would avoid you in fear of malpractice or that they were on vacation. He told me he was at a conference. 4) There was nothing in it for him. I won’t be going to his center because it’s in a different country but I would if I lived in Canada and I offered to pay him but he refused. That’s why I looked him up and am leaving this review. He helped both my injury and restored my faith that there are still caring people in the world who actually give a damn. If you’re in Canada go see this guy..

So "Dr. Z" will spend the whole first Appt talking about how great he is. How former prime ministers and the wealthy come to him. He will then try to sell you a $1700.00 plan to "rehabilitation" . He is pushy and will become upset if you don't sign up. Expect to be charged $50 for, I'm not joking, roughly 2 minutes of corrections. Also, I can guarantee that almost every review on here is fake. They are all posted by accounts with reviews of places all over the US and they all talk about very specific things he brought up in his first apointment speach. This is hilarious.

I've had chronic neck pain for almost 9 years. I tried physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture and strength training in the past. All of them helped to different degrees, but nothing actually fixed the root cause of the problem, and I learned to live with a certain level of pain. I never thought my neck could actually be fixed. When I went to Dr. Zielonka, it was actually because I was having pain in my back, knees and nerve pain down my legs and feet. In just 1 month, Dr Zielonka took me from the point of having constant neck stiffness/pain and not being able to sit for more than half an hour without experiencing a lot of pain to having zero neck pain and being able to sit for long periods of time without any pain. I don't think such drastic improvement would have been possible without the spinal adjustments and ART that Dr. Zielonka used on me, and I'm sure it will only get better with continued treatment. Dr. Zielonka is the BEST doctor because: 1) He is very skilled at diagnosing and treating problems. He uses the best tools for diagnosis and looks at the body as a whole. 2) He really cares about his patients. In order to get better, you have to believe you will get better, and Dr. Zielonka always made me feel that I was in good hands. He always took the time to answer all my questions. I've learned a lot just by listening to his advice, reading his articles and watching his videos. 3) He does not overcharge for his services, and everything is very reasonably priced - this is rare for really good doctors. Fixing a problem requires accepting that there is a problem (and not ignoring the pain), and then finding someone who can fix it. If you are looking would a doctor who can really change your life, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zielonka.

Awful. Dr spends less than 5 minutes with you at each appointment and tries to scam you into purchasing a very expensive package making you think youre getting a deal. Well they actually made me worse, sometimes i left crying i was in so much pain. The dr seems very nice and knowledgeable but did not even have time to listen to my questions at my appointments. Its a factory. They dont care about you, they just want your money. Go somewhere else where they will spend more than 5 minutes with you. I lost $1500 here and went to physio instead.

I had steered clear of custom orthotics given many past bad experiences but my knee and foot pain became too much to tolerate. When my wife told me that Dr. Zielonka had fit orthotics for Gold Medal Olympic sprinters I thought it was worth a try, after all they must know where to go. I am very pleased with the results as well as testing that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I was also comforted by knowing he guarantees them. If you’re looking for custom orthotics go to the World Exchange Plaza. This is the place to go.

Stay away, this place is a scam. Dr.Z billed me $3000 for 3 months of treatment on an injury that only takes 2 weeks to fix and costs less than $200. You'll get a sense of Dr.Z's shady behaviour just by reading any of the other 1 star reviews. He removes most negative reviews by reporting them to google as "inappropriate" or "dishonest", and when he can't remove them he dilutes their negativity by purchasing hundreds of fake reviews. If you read any positive review he's ever gotten and they're all incredibly vague and generic sounding. But how bad could he really be, he's a licensed medical professional after all? Well, I got a repetitive strain injured in my wrist and I went to Dr.Z. He pitched me a 3 month rehabilitation plan that cost $3000. Knowing nothing about physiotherapy and chiropractics, I completely fell for it. The rehabilitation was essentially just a 5 minute wrist massage from Dr.Z twice a week for 3 months. If you do the math on that, it comes out to 2 hours of work billed at $1500/hr. And of course, none of it worked. After 3 months I was still wearing a wrist brace and in pain. If you're thinking "Well, maybe your injury is more severe and just takes months or years to recover from?", No. I did two 1 hour sessions with a physiotherapist for a total of $165, and my wrist was back to normal in 2 weeks. Dr.Z and his clinic are a scam.

Been a 'patient' for a few months until I hit my insurance limit. Adjustment appointments felt rushed and took no more than 2 min for close to $40 from what I remember. Very expensive and led to no relief in my case. As soon as you walk through the door, he spends a lot of time and effort trying to sell you the most expensive plan. A chiropractor needs magic hands; Dr. Zielonka is in the top half of the chiropractors who have helped me.
