Wonderful experience with multiple treatment options for physical rehabilitation and correction, varying from chiropathy to massage. The receptionist is friendly and helpful, showing you the ropes for any exercises which are appropriate for the treatment of your condition. The employees are well-trained and accustomed to providing for the needs of the patient, addressing the underlying concerns as well as any surface problems that occur throughout the period of treatment.

Absolutely wonderful service and comfort. From the receptionists to the physiotherapists this place amazing for their attention to detail. They really make you feel like a friend and are very affective at identifying the problem and then treating it. Its also covered under Studentcare which is great for Mac students. I had knee pain from jogging and they identified the swelling and helped it get down with TENs, exercises, and ultrasonic therapy. After a couple of weeks no pain! Thank you guys!

In Sept 2013 I was involved in an accident. The accident left me injured from my neck down to my lower spine. I was dealing with a constant pain. Dr. Kristy and her team have shown great patience and had made my recovery a top priority. My visits were always productive and their attitude made attending physio weekly with a positive outlook possible. I cannot think of a better attribute for a clinic in physio therapy. I was certain after every session that Dr Kristy and her team had looked out for my best interest and well being. I have been seeing Dr Kristy Clappison at The Activa Clinic in downtown Hamilton for about a month now, she is very thorough, professional and good at what she does. Dr Kristy and her staff are always courteous and kind and always waiting with a smile when I arrive. The office is quite busy but they are very accommodating with schedules and even offer a car service for those who cannot drive to their appointments themselves. The office is great a handing in and filling out all necessary paperwork properly and on time which facilitates better funding through insurance. I am very happy with my choice to see Dr Kristy and am looking forward to working with her on site Registered Massage Therapist as well. The office provides free parking and is easily accessible by bus as well.

Dr. Kristy made my first visit to a chiropractor amazing. She adjusted my back and my back pain went away. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She told me what she was going to do and how it is going to help me. She created an easy to follow stretching routine that has improve my posture and kept my back pain away. Elsa is the definition of customer service. She is personable and attentive to clients needs. When I had an issue with my health insurance provider, Elsa took it upon herself to deal with the issue. Dr Kristy and her team are exactly what I expect from a professional business. Not only are they knowledgeable regarding treatments, my questions (no matter how trivial) were answered to satisfaction. What makes this clinic go above & beyond most medical teams is the amicable personalities. Not only do the people there remember your name and treatment, they willingly undergo conversations with patients. They are also generally very efficient, as I have rarely waited more than a few minutes to get Dr Kristy`s attention. In terms of cost, as a student of McMaster, their low student pricing and the schools insurance have given me a nearly free experience. The only downside to this clinic is the lack of an elevator. As they are on the second floor, taking the stairs can be difficult for those with mobility issues. However, I personally use it as part of my treatment.

She takes her time ensuring you get the biggest bang for your buck and I never feel rushed. She has a great bedside manor, super friendly. I've been doing physio/chiro/massage for my back for almost 10 years now. Dr. Rifai recommended acupuncture and i was hesitant but I trust her completely, she was right! I had immediate results!! Amazing place and amazing staff! I went in just to check out my options and was immediately looked at and treated by a chiropractor. I have had an ongoing issue with my lower back and was actually given answers and options for further treatment unlike the previous chiropractor who just seemed to want my money and not be bothered. Also just wanted to say that Ashley was an amazing receptionist (her skill set obviously far exceeds her role) and was a huge help. She was on the phone with my benefit provider for well over 30 mins which allowed me to actually save a great deal of money today. Looking forward to my follow up appointments.

After leaving the clinic i asked the receptionist if my account was in order, i was told i didnt owe any money and that my account was all paid up. Months later i get a call from the head office saying i owe 600$ because they went over my policy limits. I told the receptionist to let me know when we get close to my limit because i am a student working part time. At no point was i told that my limit was reached. I was told to pay 600$ or else i would go into collections. Had i been informed i would have not agreed to do any treatment beyond my policy limits. I will not be returning to this clinic nor will i be telling anyone i know to come here and share the same fate as me. If you do go here make sure to ask where you are in your policy limit because no one will tell you. Very disappointed with the head office. This is how you a student on part time hours after they got into an accident.

I find that this is a non-medicated way to help me relieve stress, and overcome headaches/migraines. I have recently added Massage Therapy to my health routine. I was really impressed about the review rate this place has. Due to I recently moved to Hamilton from another province I have to look for a new chiropractor . Today, I called to book the first appointment with someone in this place and after few minutes conversation when secretary had a chance to tell me that she has open appointment for me on next day, she just hanged the phone on me. I tried to call back hoping it is some misunderstanding but all unfortunate nobody answered me anymore just second before disconnection I heard that she told to somebody that she can't talk to this women. I have no idea why. It is very disappointing and disrespectful.

Overall experiences from the clinic were good except the cleanliness and congestion. There has no cleaning material and instruction provided to patients that they can sanitize the equipment after use. The sweat stain can be easily seen on the exercise mat and odor is not very pleasant. In couple appointments, I stuck with many other patients and their associates in a tiny exercise room, poor air circulation.

I had my first massage with Rishi today and he relieved all the stiffness and knots in my neck, shoulders arms and back. Very professional, respectful, a wonderful personality with a magic touch. I have been going to this clinic for few months now and I all they do is hooking me to these machine that doesn't help at all. The Chiropractor is good but the receptionist is very rude behind the patients. I over hear from some of the staff that they have had more than 8 staff leaving the place due to bad treatment and policy. I am speaking to my lawyer to send me to go to a different clinic.

In May of 2017 I got rear ended by a car. After the accident I could barley move I couldn't turn my kneck, I couldn't drive,I couldn't bend from the waist down, I couldn't lift my hand from my side, walking was painful. My pain was so unbearable breath felt like felt like what I imagine hell feels like. If I was to sneeze my entire body would be in so much pain all I could do was cry. While speaking with a lawyer he recommended physical therapy. Best advise he gave me. I have been attending the this clinic for 2 months and I have almost 100% full motion in my arms my back pain has gone down significantly and I can now touch my toes. I am now able to drive and I can look left and righ, up and down. Doesn't seem like much on a every day basis until you can't do these things anymore. As someone who is not a fan of people or being touched I can't help feel welcomed every time I walk in the door of Activia Clinic. Never met a set of people more caring and friendly. They are a very clean establishment. They sit down with you to see what best fits you and how best to get you back to normal. It's like a one stop shop Physical therapy, massages and a chiropractor.
