I've been into the physio clinic for the past couple of weeks for chronic knee and back pain. I'm athletic but struggling with arthritis, movement and stability issues. I was already impressed on my first visit when Phil helped me "diagnose" my knee issue when no other health provider ever had before - and I've seen many types over the years. From that point, he has continued to provide thoughtful guidance geared toward my performance level and I've seen improvements in a very short time. I'll also say that compared to some other clinics I have been to, pt seems like a great value. I recommend it.

First rate experience. I've gone to different therapists there and they've always been amazing. I worked with Sinead Dufour, Dana Law and currently I am working with Phillip Genesis. He is very personable and friendly and really listens to his patients. His positive approach and helpful attitude make a difference. He checks in to make sure something isn't too painful and is open to answering questions about the injury itself. Also getting reminders of upcoming appointments is great and so is Anna who handles the administrative aspect there. I recommend their services highly.

I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. The staff was so accommodating and Phil is awesome! I came in with shoulder pain and Phil did a wonderful job explaining to me the root of the problem, assigning reasonable exercises and most importantly, eliminating my pain and dysfunction. I was recommended by my physician to seek out a physiotherapy centre. I am so glad that I chose PT Health. I have been in for four sessions with Phil the physiotherapist . When I started my physiotherapy I was in a weakened state due to compression fractures in my L4 and L5 vertebrae, as well as degenerative disc disease in the lower 3. Phil has taken the time to create exercises for my specific needs. Amazing.... I am already stronger and in less pain significantly. I will add that I have followed Phil's directions and doing the physiotherapy exercises as laid out for me. The quality of my life has already improved. I know when I read reviews I think "yeah right those people are not real". I am a real person, with a real experience!! I called and was greeted by such a friendly coordinator who set me up with an appointment the following day in a time slot that worked with my schedule. Guelph Medical place physiotherapy is a great place to go! I volunteer at the clinic to gain experience in the field as I am interested in becoming a physiotherapist. It is such a great learning experience and I feel like I will be well prepared for the Masters program in physiotherapy. It is great getting to meet so many different clients and to learn about various injuries. The physiotherapists who work here are very knowledgeable and are great at teaching! Firstly I’d give them a 10/5 stars but that’s not an option ! My husband and I recently moved to Guelph this summer. We are both elite level athletes and have been using this practice for many years. So when we moved to Guelph we were looking for a top level Physio Clinic. We have not only done Physio but acupuncture as well as cupping. They make you feel like family and are extremely knowledgeable. I am currently 9 months pregnant and cannot say enough about how much they have helped me with my pregnancy pain and just preparing myself for labour. They are very professional ,friendly and helpful. They pay attention and offer personalized treatment. They have a variety of equipment and reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for physio, massage , acupuncture, cupping and any of self heath needs. The appointment system has useful reminders, location is perfect across from Dawson medical clinic and FREE parking. PT Guelph Medical facilitates a pleasant experience and I see progress in my recovery every time I go, making me excited for my next appointment. Keep it up guys and see you soon !!!!!

I came in because my right shoulder had dramatically started acting out due to the development of tendinosis. The pain and restriction of movement appeared in an instant but was dramatic and even frightening. A good friend (also a medical professional) recommended Phillip very highly after coming back from two broken legs to a full recovery. As a serious year round canoeist I was very worried that I had developed a condition that would limit my ability to pursue my sport/passion. I was assured by Phillip that my shoulder was very treatable and that 10 to 12 weeks would see me fit again. I had my doubts but I walked out after my last session today near 100 %. A wonderful environment to work with a great team... your team, that makes you feel welcome. Thank you Courtney and everyone else for getting me back on the river!

The whole appointment experience was disappointing. The physiotherapists and massage therapists may be wonderful but I walked out after 10 minutes with reception. There is something to be said about the way you talk to people that are living with a great deal of pain! I don't understand the point of asking for details of claim numbers and extended health care insurance (which I made a special call back with)during the booking then asking for it all over again on arrival. Should just ask to bring all info on arrival. At that point in the day, I wasn't climbing up and down those stairs again.

I first went to PT Physio for an issue with my IT band. I had been in a lot of pain for over a year, and was not overly optimistic about trying physio. Boy was I wrong! It took a while, and a lot of work, but Peter got me up and running(well, walking) again. The exercises I was shown were easy to do at home, and I never felt like I was being rushed out. I just started seeing Santo for an SI joint issue, and I was really frightened about seeing a Chiropractor. But I needn't have been! Santo is very kind, gentle, and professional. In fact, all of the staff are wonderful! From the moment I walk in and am warmly greeted by reception, to the minute I leave, I am treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism. I am so comfortable going to PT Physio that I might just move in. :)

I want to start by saying that I have been to many physio clinics and loved my time here, definitely recommend coming here . When Ive look at reviews I never see anyone mention the PTA's. I had the pleasure of working with Peter and in turn his PTA, George. George was by far and away the best PTA I have ever worked with! He was kind and compassionate during my time there and I really enjoyed talking to him whenever I was in. To be honest I was actually kinda disappointed when I wasn't able to work with him. So if you have the option I highly recommend asking George to work with you.

Received physiotherapy by Chris for about two months. The experiencing was always welcoming, the staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. My shoulder improved a lot and I am experiencing a lot less pain now. When it was decided I no longer needed more in person appointments, Chris made sure to email me an assortment of exercises with photos and directions so I could keep up with them to further improve my shoulder. As a Massage Therapist, Santiago Ramirez is helping me with my recurrent low-back pain (when no doctor could!) I was resigned to thinking I would live with the pain forever. For recommendation of a good friend I booked and appointment with Santiago when he was working in Hamilton. In just five treatments with him, my pain is 80% gone! Now that he is working with pt Health on Guelph, he is closer to my home and now, I'll be able to see him more often and get better sooner. I visited with him at this place and I found a very nice, clean easy to park and most important, very friendly staff. I think the people on Guelph and surrounded area is lucky to have a very professional place and a caring Massage Therapist at hand. His technique is so skilled and he's so talented, a true professional. He is also a very pleasant, positive-minded person who honestly cares about your health.
