TL DR; I limped in as a broken person, walked out as a brand new person. Short story: Dr. Mere is the best chiropractor I have ever met. I've been to other chiropractors where they would make me feel better but after a month the pain would just come back. Dr. Mere actually finds the root of the issue and works from there to prevent it from happening again and aid proper recovery. Long story: A few months ago I limped into his office with lower back pain, extreme tensenes by the shoulders, and a severe knee issue. In the past I have gone to get an ultrasound and a MRI for my knee which resulted in nothing found despite my knee sounding like a fire cracker everytime I moved it the slightest bit. This is why I was bafflled when Dr. Mere instantly found out my root cause just by seeing the way I stood on my first visit! (I'm flat footed and my feet would cave in on itself which caused issues that stemed from the foot, to the knee and the lower back). He then pulled out his textbook and showed me images of what was happening to my knee as of a result of the way I stood. From there he adjusted my spine and gave me a some tips to help ease my pain. On my second visit, I was already feeling better after taking his advice. This is what makes Dr. Mere stand out from the rest of the other chiropractors, he started to tackle my root problems by offering me orthotics. He got an imprint of my feet and I had to wait for my orthotics to be made and sent in (which took about a week). Prior to the orthotics arriving, he literally took the time to teach me how to walk properly. Apparently I waddled like a penguin which caused my ankle to rotate and mess up my knee. Everyone at my workplace was laughing at me as they watched me struggle to take proper steps instead of doing my usual penguin walk. Anyway, after everything was settled and a few more adjustments, I feel so much better and it has been 3 months since I first met him. The pain has never came back and I am able to exercise again without any interference. Another thing worth mentioning is that you don't have to be seriously injured or anything to visit Dr. Mere. If you're just feeling stiff or want to experience being adjusted by a professional, this is the place to visit. I now go once a month just for a deep tissue massage and minor adjustments since my work requires some heavy lifting.

I was greeted by a friendly, relaxed man with a terrific sense of humour. His assessment was spot-on, and the first treatment focused on deep massage and stretching. Thoight I would try here since the usual place I go was closed still cause of covid. The staff there are really nice but that about all I can say. I wentnin to get adjusted and asked for that but nope. I left there with the same pain in my back as I did showing up. I asked for a full adjustment and all they could do was try and sell me services I didn't want and didn't ask for. They don't really listen to what the patient wants. I personally won't be going back. I will wait for the person I see to open up again and go there cause they listen to the patient.

Finding Dr. Mere was truly a miracle. I was desperately searching for a chiropractor around my area, due to having foolishly injured my back during my workout. I called the office and Dr. Mere was so kind to take me in within the hour. I didn't even need to explain what happened, he already knew what the problem was. Dr. Mere took time and patience to explain to me what went wrong and his treatment truly took me from hunching over to standing up straight within the first session. This was my first time going to a chiropractor and Dr. Mere really knows his stuff. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. He was really nice to talk to and has helped me more then enough. Not only did he help me straighten my knees and help lessen my back pain in one appointment. He also helped me on my anatomy test by spending a few minutes after the appointment to go over some material I had learned in class but was struggling with. All in all, he is really easy to talk to and joke around and I highly recommend him.

I’m from the Okanagan in British Columbia and was recently in Grande Prairie for a week long sporting event. I re-injured my back on day one was not going to be able to compete. I called the office and Dr. Matheson answered the phone himself. He made a spot for me to get in to see him within a couple of hours during what I assume was his lunch at 12:30pm. He was fantastic during the visit. He worked on me and discussed my history etc for approximately 45 minutes. I was able to complete after a couple days of rest and our team ended playing in the finals, with me in the lineup. Even after playing 4 games in two days I felt better than I did prior to the tournament. The office was friendly and extremely accommodating under the circumstances. I credit Dr Matheson with my comfort and partially for our team’s success. I cannot thank him enough and believe he is an expert in his field and a caring and considerate practitioner. Had my first chiropractic visit with Dr. Mere a few days ago. I came in with a pinched nerve in the neck that caused great deal of pain and immobility. After carefully assessing my condition, he told me what was wrong and adjusted & massaged me in the affected area. Afterwards he prescribed me with several exercises for me to do at home. I felt immense improvement after the first visit. He also called me the same evening because he wanted to check how things were, and making sure I was doing the exercises. I really appreciate him for reaching out to me that day. When I came in for the follow-up, I was already doing much better since the prescribed exercises were quite effective (and painful! haha). I was basically back to normal after my 2nd visit. I had a similar incident a year back, but that time it took me around ~2-3 weeks to recover. With Dr. Mere, it took me 3 days. Visit with him was very pleasant, and if you're looking for a competent, compassionate chiropractor, well you're in luck!

I woke up in excruciating pain this morning and called to book an appointment around 9:45 am, the female receptionist that took my call was extremely short tempered and disrespectful towards me. I woke up home alone and was unable to turn my neck to the left. Terrified and in pain, I managed to get myself out of bed and call different chiropractors in the area. I was told by another clinic that I needed to go to a walk-in and get a doctors note in order to be seen, which would have not been possible as I couldn't even stand up straight. When I called Dr. Mere, he did not hesitate to see me and told me to come in as soon as I could. After the 1st appointment, I could stand up straight and slightly turn my head to the left. By the 3rd appointment (half a week), I had full range of motion and no pain. Dr. Mere did not turn me away when I was alone, confused, and scared. He was very professional, honest, and helped me get back to normal very quickly. I am grateful to have found this clinic. I recommend it to anyone.

I had called The Chiropractic Wellness Centre and not only did they get me in fast but after I felt amazing and got done fast. Dr. Todd Matheson was friendly, polite understanding, and you can tell the he has fun doing what he is doing. The fact that I was able to get back to my job quickly and pain free was amazing. I would recommend him to everyone I know just for the simple fact that I had an overwhelming experience.
