I really enjoy this massage therapy clinic, it is close to home and I’ve been a client for several massage therapists there, I find them to all be patient and respectful, and I’ve had no issues with requesting amounts of pressure to be increased or decreased. I attend appointments regularly and have never had an issue with cancellations and find the clinic to be very accommodating with booking. They also direct bill which makes insurance a million times easier!

I have been a client of massage addict for many years and have just moved down to this one in the last year. The staff is fantastic and I've always pretty much had a great massage experience. I noticed the last time I was in the face cloths that are in the washroom to be used to dry your hands look really dingy. Perhaps they should swap back to paper towels. Also I'm happy that they're washing the sheets but yesterday when I got on the table they were still damp and not warm and I mean yes they do warm up with your body temperature but it's still a uncomfortable feeling getting on clammy sheets. When I got off I noticed that they were also well worn. Maybe time for a linen refresh.

It was my first time at Massage addicts and I had THE best massage of my life !!!. It was amazing and I can’t wait for my next one. The place is great and very clean. The rooms are peaceful, and the music is very relaxing, like a spa. I injured my right shoulder and Melanie, the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) knew exactly how to apply just the right amount of pressure in the right place. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional. You can easily book online and don’t let the word membership scare you away. Check it out. You may find you really won’t want to leave. The only risk is wanting to stay. I highly recommend Massage Addict. Don’t go to any other place. This is the best !!!

I've had 4 massages there before yesterday, and they were good. But yesterday for once i felt it was a bad massage. I feel it didn't help at all. I don't want to mention names, but be sure to tell them you don't like what they are doing. Some of them don't have a technique and I felt yesterday that someone at home can do a better job than she did. I wouldn't choose the person from yesterday again. Plus she was breathing all over my face when i flipped on my back lol that was really annoying. It wasn't worth the money at all for that time.

A corporate chain for massage? Hard pass. While there are *some* talented RMTs here, it's like comparing a home-cooked meal to terrible fast food. Corporations don't care about their employees, their quality, what goes into their training and like most, exploit their employees to make the chain richer and this is apparent at Massage Addict. Please do yourself a favour and find someone who is independent with a good rep, places like this need to disappear.

I start getting my massages on this place since November of 2017, started with Dave, who is an excellent massage therapist, service was great by this time, the girl at the FD was nice with a good service and I got the membership with them for the year. I went with my benefits card and they did all the process to withdraw with my insurance company by this time, was amazing!!.. On June of this 2018 I started my massages with Ram, which is another amazing massage therapist, I will highly recommend him! But the staff at the front desk was not friendly anymore, they really lower their guest services with the guest even when you have a membership, of course this does not apply to the massage therapist. When you have the membership, to get the membership rates, you have to at least get one massage per month. Since I start my membership I never receive emails that will remind you when is the due date of this massage, and if you do not have track of your own massages you will get charge. On July they start sending the emails, which was a very good update of their system, and once they charge me for not getting the massage on time without sending me an email, I had to contact them and deal with it in order to process it back. Problem solved by the moment. When I tried to use back my benefits card on the last three massages and they always has a different excuse to not use them. The last time there was a problem with it and they were extremely rude at the front desk and not able to help me with it, even when my insurance company allowed them to help they for some reason refuse to do the exactly same thing that they did when I started to get my massages here and I got my membership. The customer service was the worst one that I experience in my life, and it was the owner with the manager dealing with it and to be honest was something extremely disappointing because they have excellent massage therapist but the worst customer service. I will not recommend this place at all if you are looking to relax and enjoy your massage because you will be stressed about how bad their customer service and their lack of help once you get what they want that is the membership. Definitely terrible!!!!

My biggest complaint is the high turnover rate here. It seems every time you get a RMT you really like, they end up leaving :( However, what I love about Massage Addicts is that the prices are good, it's a great booking process online, and they are all super friendly and professional.

My massage was absolutely amazing. I normally go to this location once a month. I left for work for 5 months and asked them to pause my account and they said it was no big deal for when I finally got back - I called to follow up once I was back and they said everything was good. Once I received my massage they told me that I was no longer a member and had membership price nor did anything for their screw up not being organized and putting the right things on the file. Extremely disappointed and I will no longer be going to Massage Addicts Guelph when I was a very loyal client over the past few years. I’d like to emphasize I paid $135.59 + tip for a 30 minute massage because of this screw up (I was 15 minutes late and was my fault). But to tell me “I’m the manager and things weren’t run right before” is no excuse for poor customer service.

This was my first time here and I have tried a lot of massage therapist in kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph. My massage therapist's name is Keyosha. Keyosha's pressure was nice and hard just the way I like it to get those stubborn knots out. I had the most amazing massage ever and I highly recommend her! Massage Addict also has direct billing so you do not have to worry about entering the info for your insurance company if you have benefits. I would give this more ???? if I could.

The massage was good, but my room shared a wall with the dish pit of the Sunset Grill. That’s all I could hear the entire hour. Not very relaxing unfortunately. The therapist apologized several times, and I realize that’s not their fault, but I suggest they install some sort of soundproofing to the affected rooms. I would not recommend booking at this location before 3pm.

It's a great place if you are looking for something relaxing. It's fairly expensive. I wanted a deep tissue massage and specified it both taking the appointment and on the day of and ended for the 3rd time with a re relaxation massage. Not quite what I was looking for.

when I enter a massage business I expect it to be nice, calming and comfortable. They tried to make the waiting room nice but it's too blah, bland and septic. I am even more disappointed because I had booked a reflexology appointment but received a massage ( and not a great one ) . I went home to double check , and yes I had booked for reflexology. When I emailed the company back about it, I never even received a response.

Chrystine was amazing...I am a massage therapist in Michigan. I also do alot of deep tissue massage and have a difficult time finding a massage therapist who understands deep tissue and how to perform a massage of that nature. All I wanted on my vacation was to relax and have a great massage. It was not an easy task, the massage places in the heart of Niagara Falls want a ridiculous amount of money for a massage with no pressure. How lucky I was to stumble on to Massage Addict and have the pleasure of a massage with Chrystine..... And it was only a few minutes drive from my hotel!!!! I highly recommend Chrystine to all that come to Niagara Falls, whether they live close by or hundreds of miles away and are in vacation. I felt like a million bucks after I got off her table. Way to rock an awesome massage Chrystine!

Sarah Pardy provided an experience that is hard to put into words. She listened to my issues and then created an approach that targeted areas I didn't even realize were the problem. I am fairly body aware and thought I had an idea on facia release but this was the BEST session I have had for some of my neck/back/shoulder tension out of all of the services I do (Chiro, osteo, physic) - I will go back and I loved that she gave me some of my own release techniques I could do. This was not the 'traditional' lay of your front & have someone work your shoulders - this was PURE release of tension. Thank you Sarah.

Just went for my first massage at Massage Addict. I was very impressed! The front desk person was very welcoming, and personable. Jeanette was my massage therapist for this visit and she was very nice, as well as knowledgeable. She took her time to assess my needs and let me know in advance what areas she would be focusing on. The massage table was heated, which was a HUGE bonus! Never been on a heated massage table before. Jeanette told me to let her know if anything was overly painful, and she checked in with me periodically to see how I was doing. I was very happy with the service I received and really liked that you can sign up for a membership and save money on your massage. They also offer direct billing to most insurance companies, which is a huge bonus. I also love the location! Close to Stone Road Mall, and they have convenient hours and online booking! I have already booked my next appointment with Jeanette and I'm looking forward to it!

I had my first visit with Massage Addict and will say it will be my last. The massage therapist that provided my 60 minute massage (although a very sweet woman) was all over the place! When she started my massage she spent a good 20 minutes asking me about my life. When her hands finally were on my back long enough, I could barely feel them except for how cold they were. She would start with a shoulder then to a leg then to arm, then to leg, leaving some areas exposed and not covered by the blanket. I was seriously confused on her process!! As I have had many massages throughout my life, I know therapist have a routine they follow. This was not!!! At one point she was massaging my head with one hand in the same spot for much too long, while she told me a story with her other hand. She realized she was babbling on, and laughed and said "oops, I do that a lot". I was so uncomfortable and felt so awkward. During the massage I asked her a few times to put more pressure as I couldn't feel it. She said she would but that never happened. Near the end, she massaged one foot on the right and one hand on the left, totally forgetting the others. Needless to say, I couldn't wait for it to be finished. It felt like this was the first client this therapist has ever had and was maybe nervous or not trained properly. When I was done, I went to pay and asked the receptionist "Did you book me in with a registered therapist or a relaxation massage technician?". She replied "We are all registered". Good to know as I won't be back if that's the level of "registered" you want for your clientele.

I would rate this place as 1 or less. I mentioned i am having neck tension and shoulder pain. However, nothing was done to make me feel better. I was not even provided with full body massage. Apart from that, i was late only 5 mins. Yet received only 44 mins massage and paid for 1 hr massage. The therapist was polite but I didn’t like her work, i was expecting that it would be something professional. Wont recommend it to anyone. Just waste of time and money.

I went back after 4 years. The service had deteriorated significantly. I parked my car at 11:10 and my "one-hour" massage was done by 12:09. when I asked about it, they said the one hour is from the time you come through the door! For me, it included taking winter boots off, filling in questionnaire, wait time, and getting changed in the massage room! There were signs to remove boots, which is understandable, however they did not provide slippers and there was some salt and water strains/ drops on the floor! The staff were polite and professional, however the attitude made you feel like you are at a doctor office for an appointment, rather than a spa for a relaxing and pampered experience!

I have been to this location twice. My first experience was good. My therapist was very knowledgeable and gave a great massage. I was there again last night for a hot stone massage and my experience was not good at all. My therapist was ok at best. I feel she rushed through the massage and did not do my whole body. The worst part of my massage were the staff that were there. I had booked a hot stone massage which is more $$ than a regular massage. I came there to relax after a tough week. The staff at the clinic sounded like they were having a party outside of my room. They were so loud laughing, and talking. At one point my therapist actually had to leave the room and turn the music up louder so that It would drown out the noise. I feel the staff needs more training in customer service within this industry.

The massage was very relaxing but she did not focus on the problem areas where I had said. I first had to circle where I wanted the focus. Then she specifically asked me why I’m there and what to focus on. I asked her during the massage and she acknowledged. Unfortunately I lost track of the time and the focus and reason I went there was never addressed. When asked about it after she only said that it hurts for other reasons. I was not impressed at all. If you’re going for overall, it’s good. For focus, it was very bad and it’s money I wasted.

They advertise for pre-natal massages, but don't have the necessary equipment to make it a comfortable experience. The therapist did his absolute best to do what he could for my particular issues, but was very limited. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, and felt awful that I wasn't 100% comfortable; so I wish I could have taken him to a different clinic that gave him the tools to do his job to the best of his abilities. The low star score is because of the management, not the therapists. If you aren't pregnant, you'll have a good experience :)

Beware, if the receptionists book you for one time and tell you another you will be billed for a missed appointment. I had 2 times where I showed for my scheduled appointment and was told the therapist was sick and I live 30min out of town. I also had an appointment cut short because the therapist had to leave because she was throwing up. I didn't complain because things happen but when I was billed for a missed appointment because I was told the wrong day I was not happy. It is so difficult to get appointments in the evenings and weekend too because they don't have enough staff and allow people to book as many as they want ahead then expect you to go on a cancellation list that they don't call you from. The manager wasn't very quick to return my calls either. Don't sign up for a membership you can go to a regular massage therapist and not have to commit to once a month appointments that you can't get scheduled due to lack of appointment times available .

I booked a 1 hr session stating i have many trigger points that need work. Laura didnt even bother talking about it not saying 1 word from start to finish. She did only 3 moves for the whole session. A massage at home from my brother wouldve been more beneficial.

I Had a great massage! At first I thought an hour long massage is a long massage, but the time went so fast. I have a lot of pain in my neck and the day I went in for my massage my neck was hurting more than usual. I told Eva, the RMT, about the pain so she spent quite a while focusing on my neck area. By the time the massage was over all the pain in my neck was gone. On a normal day I would have taken pain medication, but I decided not to that day to see how helpful the massage might be. I was surprised how much it helped. Also, the stress relief for the rest of my body was worth far more than the price of the massage! I will be a return customer for sure.

Absolutely amazing experience. I got the hour long introduction massage for $50 and I'm seriously considering the year long membership. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean and relaxing. It's a $100 experience for $50 and it's incredible. Maria, my massuese heated the bed, and worked with a large heatpack throughout the massage, which is SO relaxing. I fell asleep multiple times. She gave me a thorough assessment and worked on my trouble areas, taking out knots in the gentlest way possible, though I usually need very deep, painful massages to remove them. She even gave me recommendations for how to use massage techniques at home for trouble areas. AND to top it off, I'm not even sore the next day, and the pain and tension I had for weeks have all but gone. TLDR: an over the top exceptional massage experience for $50 which is usually $100. Seriously considering the year long Membership

I have never had such a horrible experience. Between the other employees scream talking during my massage to how after I informed the secretary how bad of an experience I had she just kept starring at me... Half way through the massage the therapist (whom which I had seen just a month ago and changed my appointment to be with her) explains she wasn't feeling it.... horrible experience I had a actual aniexty attack with how bad of a job she was doing. Rethink going here I wrote a good review a week ago and my husband and I cancelled the rest of our appointments. Not relaxing and very horrible customer service especially charging $100 an hour to leave anxious after getting a massage If you keep reading below you will see it has been a ongoing issue for over a year now with the staff being so disrespectful and unprofessional yelling while others are there to relax. Not listening to them laughing very loud or screaming like there is a party going on

Was on time, there was paper work to be done and we started 10 mins after. My massage was supposed to be 1 hr (I was a first time client) it was 45mins. Ive had tons of massages else where and feel I know the difference between a relaxation massage and a RMT massage. Mine was a relaxation massage. Her hands were very cold, and not enough oil or pressure was applied. She seemed rush. The music was very low making it kind of awkward we could hear my tummy rumbling. When we flipped over to do my neck my blankets were not adjusted and my feet were sticking out blanketless getting really cold. I attempted to adjust and didn't get any help. The neck massage was really light and she failed to get the front and back of my neck. She just focused on the sides. Upon paying a tipping option appears , this was also very uncomfortable. I was charged for 1 hr and received 45 mins of massage time. Would not recommend.

I emailed them to tell them and they asked me what they can do, then proceeded to deny me my money back saying "it went through insurance", little did he know that I payed cash, i told him and he didnt care. My arm is partially paralyzed and they havent even reached out to me again.

Worst therapeutic experience of my life!! The staff was congregated around the desk talking about their personal life and being very short and rude with the customers. The masseuse I had was very lazy, sat down for 90 % of the massage and was breathing in my face constantly with her hurrendus breath! And I asked her to do my neck and I felt like I was being strangled, I almost said that's enough and bolted out of there in my undies. This place is brutally amature and not worth your hard earned money. Do not go. And this is my 3rd time attending, I figured they can't all suck or want to talk your ear off or give you false medical advice.... But they do. Choose another establishment this one is completely sub par. Bye Felicia!!!

One of the worst masssages i have ever had. Theres a sign that says keep your phone turned off and all i heard for the hour massage was 2 woman talking and the crinkling of the therapist gloves. There was no pressure to the massage. I can get more out of an acupuncture clinic. there was no questions of pressure or anything. It was also supposed to be an hour and i was dressed and done under the time. For a first time visit that will be a last.

The place is pretty to look at but not quite the atmosphere for serenity and relaxation. Its very cold and the employees are very unprofessional laughing and talking loudly in the waiting area I could even hear them while getting my massage which really disrupted any relaxation. I also had a masseuse that did not really know what they were doing and was pushing on my spine and at the base of my skull very intensely I had bruise like feelings all over the sections she worked on and I specifically mentioned I bruise easily. I also did not like that my entire back was bare even when they were only working on my upper shoulders and I got really cold. Lastly I felt so rushed the movements were very jerky instead of a smooth roll to it. I just want to mention I have had many massages and unfortunately this location and its masseuse really put me off. I haven't tried all the masseuses so i can't speak for everyone.
