I originally saw Dr. Phillips for chiropractic help with bad hips, and neck/shoulder/elbow injuries. I had limited mobility and chronic pain. With each treatment not only did the pain dissipate, but his knowledgeable advice and focus on proactive care has helped me become pain free in all areas. He also provides a Shockwave Therapy treatment that cured my tennis elbow that had been plaguing me for more than 3 years, to the point I could not even straighten my arm, or have full grip strength. Three sessions cured it entirely! With his ongoing advice, my health and quality of life have dramatically increased. Dr Kent is the best chiroprator. I had back and neck pain since 2006 after a car accident and nothing would really help. He had helped to relieve pain and throughout my pregnacy as well. I am a 66 year old professional, and an experienced consumer of medical care. Ms. Tamara Gervais, RAc, to whom I was referred by a prominent physiotherapist, provided acupuncture to me to relieve an attack of Bell's palsy in June of 2014, and in December 2014, she provided therapy to me to relieve the pain and other symptoms of sciatica. She treated me with respect, warmth, and, of course, professional competence. Her explanation of the therapy, her communication regarding her procedures, and her attention to my comfort during the therapy was excellent. I have been treated by other acupuncturists for other ailments, but not with the success and efficiency that I experienced with Ms. Gervais.

Great place I went there for acupuncture with Tamara Gervais and I was very impressed with her knowledge of Chinese acupuncture, I actually Enjoyed it. And plan on returning soon. I also went back and tried a massage with Harry Wojdak, it's nice to find some one who can get right into the muscle and work out the knots. Only issue I had is you need to book in advance, I guess if your good there will be a line up. again great job Oliver wellness center.

After seeing Tamara just 2 times for acupuncture in conjunction with some herbs and teas I was drinking on the side, I began to notice big changes. I soon became pregnant with our son and truly feel I would not have had the opportunity if I had not found OCWC and thus; Tamara. Tamara is absolutely warm and welcoming in what can often be an awkward time. She immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, and it is absolutely clear that she is of the utmost professional and one whom loves what she does and is amazing at it. I have since seen her many more times for things ranging from pain remedy to natural induction of labor. It has been three decades since I last saw a Chiropractor and the experience was not a positive result. Four weeks ago my Physio Therapist recommended Kent Ferguson at OCWC. Kent Ferguson is a professional who in my opinion is top in his field. He listens to the patient and then pin points exactly what is required for a treatment plan. He stages the recovery program through steps and adds to those steps as progress is made. He ensures you understand all of the steps, asks each session if you have any questions and constantly reviews your technique too ensure you are on the right track. He's down to earth and quite sociable. It's like going in to spend time with a friend. He puts you at ease and most importantly gains your trust on the first visit. It is this trust that allowed me to relax for the sessions as he worked his magic. I have had several sessions with Kent and the progress is amazing. I actually look forward to each session. I highly recommend Kent especially if you're old school like me. I always look on the bright side of things. In this case it is that I have a Chiropractor who is focused on my injuries and correcting damage that I thought I had to live with for life.

This is the second Chiropractor I've experienced and by far the better one. They have a machine that checks your body to see the alignment of the body and what adjustments may need to be done. I went for headaches and so far it's been successful in helping to relieve them. Since then, any back/neck/hip problems I have, he will get all the kinks out with ease. I have used both Alexei & Pearl for massage therapy and both are very good! I am not one for needles, however I am loving Acupuncture with Tamara. Usually I am a bit nervous because I don’t like needles but it’s hard not to be completely relaxed as she has a very calming clinic and brings a lot of different elements to her practice. I have been to a few acupuncturist and I really like how Tamara is people focused. Very personable and overall an excellent experience, comparable to going to a massage for relaxation, despite having tiny needles in you. I started going for massage here, and Harry is incredible. I need someone that can do really deep tissue, and he is the guy!

I had been in the Canadian Armed Forces for 40 years and have major back pain issues. The Oliver Chiropractor Clinic did a thorough assessment. My back was about 50 percent mobile. Dr Phillips developed a plan and executed it with unbelievable results. Now I honestly can say my back mobility is now 94 percent. I highly recommend the Oliver Clinic.

Booking for massage was done incorrectly. They booked the wrong date for massage for me, and they ended up charging my credit card for $100 as I was working that day; I explained to their receptionist over the phone that they booked me for the wrong date. They did not tell me over the phone that they are charging my credit card. They just re-booked me for another appointment on the phone, and then they went ahead and sent me a receipt by email for the no-show. I did not know until I noticed the charge on my credit card. I paid this clinic over $2,000 over the last 14 months and they are refusing to reverse the $100 charge which was their booking mistake. On another issue, I saw their Chiropractor Dr. Phillips for over 4 session for lower back pain/ sciatic nerve problem for over a month. He could not treat me and I was going through a lot of pain; no improvement whatsoever. I ended up going to another Chiropractor who fixed my problem in one session, literally one session. Finally, I brought that to the attention of the owner (Dr.Kent) a couple of months ago; whom I also asked today to refund me the $100 for the no-show for massage. He refused to make the refund. Here is the point, at least pay me back for the 4 visits worth I spent on your chiropractic services for my sciatic nerve while I was going through a lot of pain and suffering for over a month with no improvement. I am not dealing with this clinic anymore. October 12 - this is in response to the owner's response. Unfortunately, my review is truthful, accurate and reflective of reality. Also, you did not respond to the issue of the chiropractic services which left me in pain and suffering for over a month, and which you were fully ware of (because I switched to you from the other chiropractor at your clinic). Finally, it happened at least once that I got a call from your receptionist on the same day of my appointment asking me to show up later for the appointment. Why is it that what is available to your business is not available to the patient?

I have suffered with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for most of my adult life. Tamara is friendly, loving, and caring for her patients. She puts you at ease the moment you are in her presence.
