He was very patient and attentive to all the details of my medical history. He explained to me exactly what was causing the pain, and did a very calculated adjustment. I came into Dr. Nick's office with my mom to ask him about some pain I had after a sports injury. I am only 16, so this was my first visit to a chiro. I was scared until I came to Dr Nicks. He is awesome. he sat down with me for a while and answered all my questions. He told me I did not need any treatment right now, but when I do I will go to him for sure.

I was experiencing intense tailbone pain for 5 months after giving birth to my son. I finally decided to try chiro, and Dr. Nelson was able to relieve the pain during my first adjustment! My son was also steadily growing at the 3rd percentile for his weight and after getting adjusted, he climbed to the 25th percentile! I was at first super skeptical about chiropractors but Dr. Nick took his time to really explain everything (I mean everything). Every big confusing term and even the history and facts about chiropractor. Knowing that I am a talkative person, I did not feel at all like I’m being rushed. His overall demeanour is very light and friendly. No judgment at all from my stinky socks. I should also note that I went to Dr. Nick with my boyfriend and he was able to accommodate us both in the same appointment (very convenient). On the day of the actual adjustment, Dr. Nick made sure to make my boyfriend and I super comfortable (though I was very nervous). Explaining through each motion and taking his time. The only negative thing I could say is finding his office. It’s in a building along with other business so you really have to look around for it but other wise, both my boyfriend and I have had a really good experience! I first began visiting Dr Nelson in summer of 2019. I had bad scoliosis symptoms, as well as various hip, pelvis and neck misalignments. The first session is a thorough interview of your medical history and what you are looking to resolve. For me, he didn't even manipulate me until the next session after he helped me set up xrays so he would know exactly what he was dealing with. The second session he spent a good amount of time explaining everything on my images, and then laid out the plan on how to fix it, including homework. I usually have issues trusting medical practitioners immediately, but Dr Nelson and his office are very laid back and relaxed, which really helps the process. Dr Nelson is always willing to answer questions and take the time to properly care for each patient. Sometimes it can lead to a minute or two wait on some appointments, but for the care he takes with each client it is reasonable and very understandable. He has even been gracious to me while being late or needing to rebook. Dr Nelson focuses on real musculoskeletal issues and I have seen improvements not only in my back, but also in my sleep and mood. He really knows his stuff and doesn't rush you in and out The first couple months of our plan was more frequent and aggressive and including homework, but I was a rough case. He has some patients that I know who only needed a few sessions and he doesn't try to oversell you. After that period was up Ihave had noticibly better posture and don't have the same tight back pain as before. Now is see him once a month or so to keep things in check and u feel great. If I ever have a linked neck or if I sleep wrong, it's easy to just pop in and get an adjustment. Good prices, central location, and a comfortable environment makes visiting Dr Nelson a pleasant task.

I came across Element Chiropractic and Dr. Nick while I was searching Google for neck injury doctors because I had neck, shoulder and lower back injuries. Always I read reviews when I’m searching for something on the internet, so I have checked Element Chiropractic’s and Dr. Nicolas’s reviews as well. Dr. Nicolas came out as the most sought after 5 star reviewed chiropractor in the Edmonton area, so I gave his office a call. I was welcomed by super nice gentleman - Lawrence. On the first day assessment, Doctor asked me to get an X-ray to see how my body is structured before giving me any treatment. Right there and then I felt this is going to work because I believe that what can be measured can be improved. My intuitions were right, on the first treatment I started feeling healthy and continued to get better after each and every session because the treatment was tailored to address my injuries. Out of my whole experience, what was the most surprising to me was that the improvement of my entire body’s range of motion that I wasn’t expecting - I feel more flexible and symmetrical now. And also my upper back injury that I had sustained and gave up on for almost two decades now is gone. I gave up on it because after I’ve had tried many physio and massage therapies still nothing seemed to work. I never thought my upper back pain would ever go away. I am only been in treatment for about three weeks now but a lot has changed already, thanks to Dr. Nick. I would recommend Dr Nicolas to anyone who is suffering from life changing injuries to give him a try; especially, those people who have tried all kinds of treatments and has seen little or no improvement at all will be very happy that they’ve found him. I called him with an intense neck pain and he called me back ( no pun intended) moments after and booked me in the next day to figure out what he could do to help (with everything that’s happening I was thinking I wouldn’t get in for two weeks at least and my pain was terrible). I had put off my pain for quit a while due to my last experience with a chiropractor and just not feeling completely okay with someone correcting my body again. I’ve been to one other chiropractor clinic, but I can say the difference is astonishing. The first appointment and questionnaire is in depth, which is great. With the questionnaire it helped both I and Dr. Nicholas to understand what could have been the issue including previous injuries or what might have caused the issue to begin with. It may start from a younger age or just daily life, these questions are very important which I wasn’t asked on my first chiropractic experience (I was only asked about the one area that was giving me troubles). He’s very observant as well. He could tell my circulation in my hands were off, and asked questions that I didn’t even realize need to be addressed. I could tell right away it was a professional, and caring atmosphere. It’s a beautiful office, even though I haven’t sat in it for long due to him being very punctual and always keeping up with his appointments. With that being said, I’ve grown a professional, but comfortable relationship where I feel my fear of getting my neck done (which was one of my biggest fears And why I never got it done) has become an easy task when I see him because trust and information was given to me. I definitely give him 5 stars, he’s knowledgeable and any questions you have he will give you the no question is stupid aspect. He was able to get rid of the terrible back pain I had been experiencing for several months and has now become my regular chiropractor.
