(Translated) Dr. Montagne told me at the first appointments that he could reduce my pain caused by a misalignment of my spine, a consequence of several origins (morphological, postural, traumatological, biomechanical). Following my history of chiropractic follow-up at other clinics, I was rather skeptical. First, Dr. Montagne suggested several remedies at the source, the use of orthotics, the use of an ergonomic pillow to restore the natural curve of my cervical vertebrae and the use of ice cream for to reduce the inflammation of my paraspinal muscles. Unfortunately for me, he has had to repeat myself several times before I practice these recommendations on a daily basis. Then, thanks to my perseverance to move to his clinic and to follow the treatment as he asked me, I could feel an improvement: - decreased pain in general (7-8 / 10 to 3-4 / 10); - reduction of chronic and acute pain phases (intensity and duration); - improvement of vertebral position (comparison of pre-treatment and post-treatment x-rays) After several episodes of doubt caused by chronic pain, we managed to reduce the pain related to grade 2 osteoarthritis (premature wear of vertebral facets) from 8 out of 10 to an average of 3.5 out of 10. The 3.5 out of 10 is maintained through monthly treatments AND also lifestyle habits (especially certain physical activities such as running) that I must proscribe. This modification of my physical activity habits including the respect of certain training principles such as the increase of the load (time & intensity), also occurred following the recommendations of Dr. Montagne, repeated many times, so that I can integrate them into a lifestyle with a back without pain or almost! I highly recommend Dr. Montagne for the quality of his service, for the accuracy of the diagnosis, for the speed of his treatments and the expected results at the end of the treatment. Call it today! À la suite de mes antécédents de suivi en chiropratie à d'autres cliniques, j'étais plutôt septique. D'abord, Dr. Montagne m'a suggéré plusieurs remèdes à la source soit, l'utilisation d'orthèses plantaires, l'utilisation d'un oreiller ergonomique pour rétablir la courbe naturelle de mes vertèbres cervicales et l'utilisation de glaces pour réduire l'inflammation de mes muscles paraspinaux. Malheureusement pour moi, il a du me répéter plusieurs fois avant que j'exerce ces recommandations de façon quotidienne. Ensuite, grâce à ma persévérance à me déplacer à sa clinique et à suivre le traitement tel qu'il me le demandait, j'ai pu sentir une amélioration: - diminution de la douleur de façon générale (7-8/10 à 3-4/10) ; - diminution des phases de douleur chronique et aiguë (↓intensité et ↓durée); - amélioration de la position des vertèbres (comparaison des radiographies avant-traitement et après-traitement) À la suite de plusieurs épisodes de doutes causé par des douleurs chroniques, nous avons réussi à diminuer la douleur reliée à l'arthrose de grade 2 (usure prématurée des facettes vertébrales) de 8 sur 10 à une moyenne de 3.5 sur 10. Le 3.5 sur 10 est maintenu grâce à des traitements mensuels ET aussi à des habitudes de vie (particulièrement certaines activités physiques comme la course à pied) que je dois proscrire. Cette modification de mes habitudes d'activités physiques incluant le respect de certains principes d'entraînement tel que l'augmentation de la charge (temps & intensité), est également survenu suite aux recommandations du Dr. Montagne, maintes fois répétées, pour que je puisse les intégrer dans un mode de vie avec un dos sans douleur ou presque! Je recommande très fortement Dr. Montagne pour la qualité de son service, pour l'exactitude du diagnostic, pour la rapidité de ses traitements et les résultats escomptés à la fin du traitement. I was in a truly desperate situation, with my back pain killing me after every day of work, and one of my shoulder became much lower than the other one. Then enter Dr. Montagne and his wonderful hands! After the first visit to his comfortable, very conveniently ( doesn't matter if one's driving or using public transit) located clinic with a very calm and friendly atmosphere, my problems were quickly determined and individual comprehensive treatment plan with affordable payment installments was offered to me. Absolutely Unsatisfied with the service received today ... I had called the secretary early in the morning to make an appointment for a person who has been suffering from lower back pain and sciatic pain down the leg- we believed it may be a herniated disc or sciatic nerve pain. I Explained the complete situation and told the secretary named Chantelle that we don't want to move him unless the doctor will see him and give him a complete examination with an x-ray if necessary- Money is not the question. She said absolutely to bring him in either at 2:45 or 4 :15pm. I told her that if he would pass quickly to see the doctor because we would be bringing him in lying down as he cannot sit up or walk. She said yes they would need to fill papers but he would see the doctor right away! They got to the clinic only to be told to go down the street to the CLSC as it is not a chiropractor he needs- the didn't even want to examen is situation... when I called the secretary back to ask her why she told me to come in- she laughed and said who referred you to a chiropractor anyways? At this point I was livid - I said this is not a laughing matter as the person/ patient is in a great deal of pain and we need to know what to do and not be laughed at - if we are SEEKING MEDICAL ATTENTION IT IS FOR A REASON!!!! And if they didn't want to help she could have said so before we ended up moving the person!!!! She just hung up on me- extremely rude and condescending! Absolutely the worst Secretary and Service received - HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! For the future- TRAIN your secretaries as to what to ask for if someone is calling in to inquire about the services needed. For heavens sake!!!! People's HEALTH is not a laughing matter!!!!

I would say that this doctor knows what he's doing, but unfortunately, I found his technique too rough. He also treats you for about 10 min and only checks if your vertebrates are aligned. I arrived there with an unbalanced hips, something my regular chiropractor can realign, and left with an unbalanced hip (despite initially discussing the purpose of my visit). The doctor never check if my heel lined up with each other, nor checked if the source of the problem could have been muscular, in which i wouldn't necessarily have needed his treatment. lastly, this place is expensive considering the length of the treatment. I wouldn't recommend this chiropractor unless if you specifically know that the source of your pain is due to a spinal issue.

I have had 9 visits so far with Dr. Montagne and have never felt better! I can actually sleep at night without having to wake up multiple times due to my back pain and i can also sleep on either side now as opposed to just on my back. Highly recommended chiropractor!
