I received excellent treatment for a debilitating sports injury. The receptionist had impeccable manners and organizing skills, the doctor’s assistant put me at ease before my procedure and the doctor was very knowledgeable, answered all my basic questions, and eliminated the pain I’d felt for 39 weeks. Due to Athlete’s Care, I can even look forward to skiing again. There aren’t enough compliments to describe this place.

Had an ongoing ankle injury that spanned about just over 3 months. I've just had my first official soccer practice back and things are going great! Shab really helped move things back to where they were, or even stronger. I've had physio countless times in my life, and I can honestly say this place has been one of the better experiences. You get focused attention as opposed to the therapist juggling three other patients simultaneously. Shab made it even better by being very relaxed, knowledgeable, and understanding of what my goals were. While I hope I don't have a need for physio in the near future, if I do, I'm going here.

I came all the way from Los Angeles to be treated by the best! Dr. Shamma is an excellent facilitator for health and wellness. Not only did he repair my two torn rotator cuffs; but went beyond the call of duty and he and his entire staff ( Estenia at check-in; Carlos RN, Scott, specialist Accupunturist, Henry PA, ect...). Thank helped me during my stay in Toronto with other issues I could not get remedied elsewhere while away from home. I recommended him to other family members whom have had a ???? 100% success with procedures and we are confident that Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine is beyond reproach!

The staff at the Yorkville location have become my second family. I have seen everyone, massage therapist Michelle, chiro Chris and physio Julia. They have been excellent, they all have access to my file and keep tabs on me without me even repeating myself. Clinic gives off a great vibe, clean and very inviting. One request, can they get some different videos on the TV? Really like the video’s but I’ve seen them all a hundred times!

Chris is amazing. His methods are geared for your injury. He's not crack-happy - which some chiro's are. If you don't need it, he doesn't do it. Chris genuinely wants you to come in less - and get you back to enjoying life. You get what you pay for - and when it comes to severe injury and pain management - this is the place to go. Great experience every time! I go to see Tanya Reid for message therapy at this location and she is amazing. She is very good at her job and you can tell she really cares about what she does. I always feel great after my message with Tanya. I have also been to see Chris Klachan, the chiropractor at this location and he too is very good at what he does. I will continue to go to Athlete's Care as it is a very professional establishment and will also continue to recommend it to all my friends.

I started visiting Athlete's Care, Yorkville in late 2020 to seek help on an ACL tear injury. I’ve had nothing but great experiences over the last few months. While you can do almost all the logistics such as booking appointments etc. via the online site, the front desk at Yorkville has been extremely helpful when it came to any additional items such as yet not limited to billing etc. My physiotherapist, Alex Peacocke, has been phenomenal to work with. Alex has met me where I am at, and has fine tuned his approach to suit my problem, context, and situation. He’s also been very open and supportive when I sought help on additional items such as core strength etc. Alex explains the logic behind his approach, his messaging and communication is very accessible, he is friendly to work with, and overall, he has made this recovery as easy, enjoyable, and non-clinical as possible while ensuring results! I am very humbled and thankful to Alex and the Athlete's Care team for all their help and support on my journey to recovery! You guys are the best!! :)

I have been a client of Michelle Vinagre for almost 15 years and *highly* recommend her for registered massage therapy. I’ve also learned so much from her about stretches and self-care that I can do at home, to help keep my chronic pains and stress under control. The heated massage table is another soothing touch for tense muscles in the winter months. All the staff here are so professional and friendly. When they re-opened after the first pandemic lockdown, I always felt protected by their cleanliness, masks, respectful distancing, and plentiful supply of hand sanitizer. The atmosphere at the Yorkville location is also more inviting than I expected from a clinic.

I came almost every week, the first couple of weeks- I could barely be touched, everything hurt and I was full of knots. I can definitely see the difference now, and the nicest thing- was being taught some really good stretches to work on my problem areas. Michelle is an absolute rockstar. I will definitely be coming back. I know we're all in lockdown, but if you have to make a decision to improve your health- I would trust these guys with it.

I recently had my first appointment at athlete's care sports medicine with Shab. I was highly impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner. He used a hand held device (I can't remember the name) to help with muscle pain and tension in my neck. I was having migraines for weeks and this is the first time in a while that I've felt relief. He also gave me exercises to do at home. I've noticed a significant improvement in just a couple weeks. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for solutions for chronic pain with lasting results. Thanks Shab you're a life saver!

Athlete's Care chiropractors have been resolving any issues with my back for about 7 years. In my view, the chiropractors there are magicians and their work allows me to return to my daily activities--including the gym--within one or two sessions. They also give me exercises to maintain the work they do. They keep central files so patients can see anyone at any location and have continuity in their care. Each location has medical doctors, physiotherapists, and other specialists. Special shout out to Melissa Givelos and Kate Hood.

I can't say enough good things about my experience and treatment with the people at Athlete's Care. The doctors, nurse and reception staff were super-friendly, knowledgeable, practical and efficient, and my physiotherapist Olivia Drodge was fantastic: friendly, caring, enthusiastic and full of great advice about my problem, how to fix it and how to keep it fixed. The office, first of all, is just gorgeous. Very clean and new. The sports medicine doctor I see there is really great, attentive, and helpful. I havent done PT here, because the prices are a bit higher than other places (I'm a student), but if I had the money I would definitely do it here.
