My husband and I have been patients of Dr. West for more than 5 years. I can say without a doubt, if it wasn't for Dr. West's care, we would suffer from severe chronic pain. He has corrected everything from TMJ issues, sciatic nerve pain, feet issues, shoulder/neck pain, low/middle back - only to name a few! My husband has a very physically demanding job and Dr. West takes VERY good care of him. I have recommended him and his friendly staff numerous times and will continue to do so. Also, there is no other clinic that I've ever been to that the doctor, HIMSELF answers the phone - no where.

I began seeing Dr. West and his team when I injured my neck due to poor posture when I was completing my piano performance degree. He not only fixed my pinched nerve but has kept my spine aligned and feeling good for almost a decade now. I found my visits especially helpful when I was pregnant with each of my children and as a young mom lifting my new babies. He offered me sound medical advice on how to improve my posture and gave me specialized exercises and stretches to improve the weakness in my lower back. As someone who had never had an adjustment before, I was extremely nervous to let anyone touch my back- but Dr. West is a Chiropractic Specialist and is one of the few in who is Ontario licensed to use Computerized Instrument Technology. I feel good knowing that he is licensed to use the latest technology and I am thrilled to be his patient. I recommend him to my friends and family.. Dr.West has been my Chiropractor after many years ago coming to my aid as a young mom who's back went out. He has an ability and knowledge that is exceptional. While doing regular spine alignments is his practice, in fact his magic is in trauma where accidents create huge challenges due to body mechanical changes. He stayed with me on the medical journey to manage a very serious illness. He believed more than l did that l could be well again. Today a few decades later l am pain free. That is not to say we got here easily...and it was we. I was in so much pain l wasn't sure how l would live. But step by step Dr. West taught me words to describe how l felt. Step by step he addressed my presenting aches and those contributing to what l felt. He knows how bodies function and how a tight stubborn muscle or tendon affects bone structures. He understands how absolutely devistating pain can be. He even has a vocabulary for different types of pain. That validation is incredible for something you can't see. I trusted this practioner with my life and he met me at every step and every corner with real expertise. And can he write (down to earth) medically targeted reports that everyone understands. His many many many reports to insurance companies gave me space and time to heal. There are no pain meds to be taken now all be it l carried some with me as a security blanket for a while. I am totally pain free. My back, neck, shoulders,arms all function well in my new normal. And l exercise, not with glee, but because l need to - to stay 97% well and to be able to do all important things.. And l do regular alignments to stay pain free. That is happiness. That is freedom. I will be grateful to Dr. West for the rest of my life for teaching me, and maybe more for believing in my ability to recover from a structural illness that few conquer. Who knew? Dr. Jim West knew. I've been going to Dr. West's for the past 7 or so years and he's really helped alleviate the pain/stiffness caused by my scoliosis and everyday wear and tear. He uses a special instrument that helps in realigning your spine - one which I haven't seen anywhere else before! He DOES NOT crack your back in any way like most traditional chiropractors do. Dr. West is exceptionally smart, professional and caring. I highly recommend that you go see him!
