I have nothing but positive things to say about Pathways and Dr. Dan. He genuinely cares about your well being and takes the time to really help you understand what's going on and what we can do to make things better. I was in a bad car accident late 2017 and started with Pathways in the beginning of 2018. Now, 4 months later, I feel a million times better, am able to go through my day to day with little pain, and to top, my autoimmune symptoms are minimal. It's really important to find a good chiropractor, just as with any medical professional, and I'm glad I was treated by Dr.Dan because he is really good at what he does! I had a lot of problems accumulated from years of horrible posture and intense stress, but didn't know how to go about fixing them as the various scans and tests always came back fine. Going to chiropractic helped me solve many of these issues, some of them in the first 2-3 adjustments. Dr.Dan is also friendly and professional, even trying to find me a good chiropractor in another city. I would highly recommend Pathways to anyone.

Pathways was the best place my husband discovered for me while in my third trimester of pregnancy. I had a lot of back pain and even in that short time frame before giving birth, Dr. Dan was able to adjust me and I was able to enjoy the last bit of my pregnancy without major back discomfort. Any woman who is pregnant can appreciate how accommodating it is, the technology is modern and super safe so no harm for baby. That part was also nice because I could actually see where my pain was which aligned with where I felt it. Dr. Dan keeps it super professional, quick, but informative if you have questions. The beginning consultation is great because Dr. Dan offers an individual plan for each person and is honest about how much he can physically help with adjustments. Meghan is also great and definitely helps provide flexibility when booking appointments and making payments.

I’m glad I found Dr Dan for my first chiropractor experience. Very welcoming place and staff is amazing. With my long working hours, I was taking about 15 pain pills (sometimes more) per week for my Neck and back pain. Came to Pathways in the beginning of my third trimester and honestly I can say I should have come in so much sooner! Coming into the clinic I could barely walk without excruciating pain, I couldn’t complete daily activities without a tremendous amount of struggle, and my baby was breech later on in my third trimester. As a pregnant women the changes our bodies go through are already so severe and having the physical part add onto our bodies in a negative way is something that is so real and so common. I never personally knew much about chiro nor did I have a clue that it could be so beneficial to pregnancy but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! 9 sessions later Dr Mukai has completely flipped my body into what I thought was impossible during pregnancy. Pubic Symphasis has decreased dramatically, I’m able to go for walks with my dogs and husband (which was almost impossible), I feel mentally and emotionally more stable and uplifted and most of all my baby turned into the right position within 5 or so sessions and is NO LONGER BREECH!! I’m so thankful for Dr Mukai and all he has done for me, my body, and my baby inside. I would highly encourage any pregnant woman out there to visit Pathways Clinic and seek help and support if you’re struggling with anything pregnancy related!

Dr. Dan did wonders on my back especially during my pregnancy with baby Aurora. During my second and third trimester, I suffered extreme back pain to the point that turning from side to side brings me to tears. Tried massage therapy almost daily and it didn’t really helped. After my first correction, i was able to move again and be more active! My pregnancy went very smoothly. I also developed pelvic pain weeks before i gave birth and after couple of corrections, pain was better and i had more mobility. My delivery went smoothly as well and my after care correction (pelvic pain less and now upper back is more) are now helping me care for my little princess :)

Dan has been looking after both my kids since they were born. My daughter had severe issues with her neck and spine when she was born she was also colic. I wasn't a firm believer of chiropractors before so I was skeptical that he was going to be able to help my daughter. We've only just started seeing Dr. Dan for my 1 year old but have already seen an improvement! He has never been a good sleeper - waking 3 times a night on average still at 14 months. Turns out his spine was out of line which was causing him discomfort. He slept 10 hours straight the night of his first adjustment. It thought it might just be a coincidence, but it's been 6 nights now and he's gone from waking 3 times a night to only 1 time a night! Our family is finally sleeping for the first time in 14 months. I wish I had brought him in earlier - It would have saved him a year of discomfort. If you are on the fence about bringing your baby in to see Dr. Dan, please just do it! He is great with kids, and super patient. Aleasha, at the front desk, is very helpful and has even kept an eye on my very busy 3 year old when she wouldn't stay in the room while my son was getting his adjustment. Having tried just about everything (yoga, massage, meditation, essential oils, food diaries - blood work, MRI, CT-scanned - ruling out diseases) to manage debilitating and excruciating migraine and cluster headaches several days a month - I have resigned to taking Triptans - relief from which came with palpitations and cold sweats. I can't say enough about Dr. Dan and everyone at Pathways. At the risk of sounding cliche, they have honestly helped my family more than I could've imagined. When my wife was pregnant with our second kid, they relieved her of some pretty severe back pain. When my kid was feeling uncomfortable and extremely stiff, Dr. Dan was able to relieve him of the discomfort and get him limber. And when I came in with extreme shoulder/neck pain, Dr. Dan was able to fix me right up. Not only that, but he was also able to reverse some of the damage that I had built up over the past 15 years working behind a desk. When we went over the results and saw that some damage had actually been reversed, Dr. Dan was seriously stoked. It just goes to show how dedicated and passionate he is about the work he does. My range of motion is way better, the pain is gone, and I just feel better in general. Apparently my posture is better, too. The place is spotless and the people are great. Five stars all the way! A few months ago I always had a headache. I was in pain all the time and could barely focus with my work and studies. Since the clinic is just across my workplace, I always see it. One day I decided to drop by and ask if they take “ adult” patients as I just see baby patients. As soon as they said yes,I signed up for my initial consultation right away! I got immediate relief after the first visit. After about 5 visits I experienced drastic improvements. I actually forgot that I get headaches a lot… coz I don’t get it anymore like before. I find that his realignments keep me balanced, not just physically, but with my work and studies too as it helps me handle my load by decreasing my stress levels and improving my mood. I am so happy I found this place! I had been to chiropractors myself before, but nothing like this. I actually went because of my daughter. She had been having lots of headaches and neck pain (to tears) at 9 yrs. old! I knew something was up. A nine year old shouldn't be having to take pain killers for headaches every week. I began looking to see about chiropractic for kids because it seemed such a scary thing. I was so happy to find the Pathways website, which gave me the assurance that they work with and cater to children. And do they! The staff and environment is wonderfully kid friendly. But the best part is that D. Dan Mukai knows his stuff. Before beginning any treatment or adjustments, he does a comprehensive scan and x-ray of the back and you get to see what's actually happening in the body, so you know where the problems are. Then he explains the treatment plan completely with the clear goal. Midway and at the end you get updated scans so you can see and monitor the progress. My daughter is now headache free and back to normal. I am now seeing Dr. Dan myself as I am pregnant and want to limit the hip pain. He is working really well with me and I already feel a difference. My other daughter is seeing him about recurrent ear infections. He knows his stuff, and you as a patient know what the treatment is actually working towards.

I didn’t think I ‘needed’ to see a Chiropractor; always believing that you needed to have suffered from some injury or chronic pain to benefit – but I was wrong! Sure, I had neck and shoulder discomfort, and it felt sometimes like a sack of rocks were sitting on my shoulders; but doesn’t everyone feel that tension after sitting in front of a computer all day? I thought I had some tightness across my back, but don’t most woman? I knew my hips would ache from time to time but that’s what comes from balancing a kid on them for 3 years, and eventually aging takes a toll, right? All-in-all I felt like my aches and pains were just a daily nuisance and unrelated to any other symptoms of an overactive/under-performing nervous system, but again, I was wrong! Dr. Mukai is absolutely phenomenal and the staff at Pathways Family Chiropractic are beyond accommodating, friendly and supportive. From the first assessment, not only did I feel listened to, I was asked questions I had never considered the answers to before regarding my medical history and health. Beyond the relief of those daily aches and pains, is the remarkable change in my breathing, posture, sleep, digestion, endurance, focus, mobility and mental clarity. The ‘adjustment’ isn’t to your back, it’s to your life… yeah, it’s that good.

Pathways has made an amazing impact in my life. I would often wake up in the middle of the night plagued by neck and shoulder pain, and even completly numb limbs, from rotator cuff to finger tips. That was when I decided to seek out a chiroproctor to help. When I first started going to see Dan, he was very open, honest and helpful. Dr. dan and the staff are kind and friendly however i didn't appreciate the dr right away signing u up for a 6 month treatment plan to try and make as much money as possible instead of letting the patient decide how much treatment to seek. He came across as a good salesperson and i found him to be too pushy, instead of a caring dr.

The things I like about this practice is Dr. DAN doesn't promote using medication if it's not necessary . Our daughter started seeing Dr. Dan for Torticollis (head tilt) and Hyptonia (joint issues/low muscle tone) at 9 months old. She no longer wakes up in the morning telling me her neck hurts and doesn’t go to bed at night telling me she has headaches! Not only that, but the office has a great atmosphere. Business is a money grab. Dan is not trust-worthy at all and he right away tries to sign you up for a long-term treatment plan (~$2000). There are many other more honest chiropractors out there. Avoid.

I started seeing Dr. Dan about a year ago and my back pain has significantly decreased!. I have always had posture issues, and that has caused a lot of my back pain to accumulate over the years. The scans done by Dr. Dan really pinpoint where the problem areas are and go beyond the general x-rays I've gotten done by other chiropractors. It's always easy to change my appointment times and they always accommodate my schedule. Everyone at pathways is super helpful and nice, I would definitely recommend Pathways to anyone!

Hi, my name is Dave. I have been suffering from lower back pain for some time. To add to this I was involved rear end motor vehicle accident last December from which my neck was causing me a lot of pain. Sometimes a simple task of opening the fridge door, or even tying my shoes would be painful. In March I met with Dr Dan and Carol who set up a program for me. During my first few visits having taken x-rays and scans of my spine and neck he pointed out all the problem areas and what the process would be like. My neck is almost back to normal, and my back definitely on the road to recovery. My back didn't go out overnight, and the recovery is not overnight. It's a planned program and it's working for me.
