Dr. David Ruegg is an excellent practitioner who has provided my chiropractic care for many, many years in Churchill and previously in Newmarket. David never rushes a treatment - he spends more time than one would have probably come to expect of a typical chiropractic visit. He also does exceptional neck adjustments. All staff and therapists at the clinic are friendly and professional. The bonus? The clinic sits amidst a beautiful country setting in an historic, restored log cabin where you can also purchase a variety of unique gift items.

I am such a fan of this place and Dr. Macaleese! I went to him about 3 months ago for Plantar Fasciatis which has been resolved, thanks to him. I recently returned with my 90 year old grand mother who had a swollen knee from a fall, as well as arthritis. I cant thank Dr. Macaleese enough for how much effort and care he put into helping my grandmothers swelling go down as well as the many tips given to reduce the pain symptoms from the arthritis. His whole goal was to have my grandmother up again and moving to have the best quality of life, regardless of her age. Thank you for your professionalism and your genuine care.

I attended the open house that Churchill wellness held on Saturday Oct 27th. Such a wonderful experience! I visited here last Saturday. This is the most friendly and professionally service I have ever received. I hurt my lower back on Friday by reaching my gym bag in the locker. I could not sit and stand straight. I'm lucky enough to be referred to here. I called in and the receptionist (Mandy) booked an appointment with Dr. Ruegg on Saturday which I was not expected they are working on Saturday. At the same time, Mandy gave me detailed instructions to reduce pain and inflammation by applying ice packs in injured areas which I did and It worked. When I came to see Dr. Ruegg, he did initial assessment to me and explained everything in details. I had the most efficient treatment. Dr Ruegg was accompanying me while the machine was working on me. Normally the doctor would be gone after setting up a timer. He was adjusting the tensity of the machine and doing massages to me while explain how my pain is different between left and right side of the hip. After a few other treatments, I was able to walk out with a straight back. most of my lower back pain is gone. Magic!!!

The clinic its self is a rustic cabin style with some beautiful decorations and wall art that the very talented Mandy has made in her studio. It’s always a treat to sit by the fireplace while I wait for my appointment but I never get to sit too long because Dr. David and Mandy run a tight ship. I have been seing Dr. Jesse for the past year. He is professional, friendly, listens to your needs in order to provide you with the best treatment plan to relieve some discomfort and pain. He will personalise his treatment with manual manipulation, provide adjustements IF needed, use the electric nerve stimulation, and even do shock wave therapy to release soft tissue and get blood flow going....you will not feel like you're in an assembly line nor will he want to know where you work to get you in there just to use up your benefits like I've been before in Barrie! He just wants you to feel better! I promise you won't go anywhere ever again once you visit Churchill...Cheers!

I am not a person who goes to the doctor very often. I usually think I can put up with the pain. The first time I went to David I had twisted my back. Not only did he resolve the pain quickly but the thing I really liked was there was no pressure to return. His advice was "if it hurts come back, if it doesn't then don't" I did return over the years when it hurt as he really could find and relieve pain. More recently I ruptured some discs in my back. That causes tremendous pain in your back and legs. David was able to describe what was happening and why. He helped me manage and finally eliminate the pain. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I certainly recommend him

Since becoming a regular patient of Dr McAleese, I can’t remember the last time my body has felt this good. Originally I went with extreme lower back pain and constant shooting pain down my one leg. Not only did he treat that pain but also knee pain and neck pain that I have been dealing with for years. Each treatment he takes his time to not only treat your symptoms but also explain what is causing the issue and some exercises you can take home with you to combat issues between treatment.
