What Jody does is something else. I came to Jody for chronic neck pain after trying nearly everything under the sun, and walked out of my first session feeling like Gumby, with my joints moving in ways that I had forgotten they even could. His treatment is intense. If you're at the point where every aspect of your life is governed by pain, then you know what it's like to walk out of an appointment feeling like it didn't quite get at the problem. Jody isn't like that. You will probably scream at some point during your appointment, then spend the rest of the week itching to go back to see him again. What's probably the most important part of the treatment is diving deep into what's actually going on in your life that's causing the pain, either physically or at a cognitive level. I found out through Jody that a massive part of my pain was related to how I behaved in everyday life, as well as how I thought about the pain itself. I can't remember how many times I would mention some random, seemingly unrelated thing that had happened earlier in my day/week, to which Jody would pause and illustrate exactly how it was either helping/hurting my progress without me realizing it. This isn't an easy answer, but it's effective, and if you're coming to Jody with long term pain then you already know there are no easy answers. Jody is direct about exactly what you need to do/stop doing if you want to improve. Chances are, there are things you've been doing to make things worse which other professionals have glossed over because they didn't want to tell you to smarten up. Personally, I needed that. All in all, Jody's a great guy who sees the healing process as a science and genuinely wants you to improve. If you've all but given up on getting better then he's the only person I would 100% recommend.

Southwest Pain Relief have been helping me with knee pain in my right knee that I Sustained in a fall in my home. I have been under their care since May. My range of motion has improved. Stair climbing and descending has improved. I am able to walk more with less pain. I still have a ways to go but the improvement is exceptional.

Southwest Pain Relief is truly amazing. From all the dog training, landscaping and constant renovations I do it's hard to find any sense of relief on your body. I have never tried laser therapy but have experienced so many chiropractic clinics in my years but nothing compares. The work Jody and Colleen do is very different then your standard chiro treatment and the great long lasting relief I have afterwards is priceless.

This is Karen Uitvlugt. Southwest Pain Relief in Dutton was highly recommended to me by 2 friends who has been seen by Dr. Jody. I had breathing issue and possible Asthma. I wanted to try something other than a puffer. I was told Dr. Jody had some success with breathing issues. I had not gone to a chiropractor before. He put me at ease from the beginning. He gave me 3 appointments in a row for assessment to see how I was feeling after. Feeling much relief I continued on for monthly appointments. I have had to cancel appointments due to Covid-19 and I'll be relieved to see him again!

Ted couldn't have survived raynaud's/scleroderma without laser treatment that Jody suggested to try because Ted wanted to have his fingers chopped off, the pain was so terrific. Ted's finger tips were all ulcerated and raw and the treatment healed it.
