I’ve been dealing with chronic lower back pain for several years. My first visit with Dr. Bowers was amazing. We spent time going through what might be going on and came up with a plan of attack. He helped me get to the root of my issues and I am now on the road to maintenance and recovery. Cannot say enough good things about Flourish Chiropractic!! As a side note this was my first time with acupuncture and I was a bit nervous but he made the process easy and kept my nerves at ease (no pun intended ????) I highly recommend!!

Derek is phenomenal at what he does, did some very thorough set of tests at the start so he knew exactly what he would need to do in order to fix the issues I had with my lower back. After just 2 visits I noticed a dramatic increase in my range of motion that was bothering me for 8 years due to a herniated disc. Derek is very knowledgeable at his practice. I have personally visited him when I could barely walk due to my lower back giving out. He was able to target the right areas specifically with accupuncture to help me progress each visit. I would not have been able to recover as fast as I did without seeing him. Would absolutely recommend Derek for acupuncture! I woke up randomly with a popped out collarbone that resulted in months of pain and mobility issues with my shoulder. I was working with a physiotherapist for recovery but thought I would try acupuncture as well due to major nerve pain. He was very knowledgeable and receptive to what my physio and I had already been working on. He also suggested new ways to stabilize my shoulder— as in focusing on my serratus anterior— a muscle I had never even thought of prior to walking into his office. I now work on this muscle weekly. After a few successful visits I was released and advised to come back if any issues came up in the future. I feel if a health care professional’s goal is to help get you out the door for good and not keep you there, they are worth trusting!
