Unlike my experience with typical chiropractic practices, Dr. Mark Mitchell is a highly skilled specialist. He comprehensively assesses patients using multiple modalities (x-rays; measures angles of vertebral subluxation; postural analysis; strength assessments; physical examinations; and computer-enabled imaging) to confirm spine health; all prior to establishing a suitable and effective treatment regime. This thoughtful and thorough approach is ‘radically’ different than the quick-and-crack approach that I have found with so many other chiropractors. It has been refreshing to hear of the actual root cause of my back pain (and see the subluxations via x-ray), and then to participate in a suitable treatment plan for healing.

I, like many others hurt my back while shovelling my driveway, in this crazy Canadian winter! After just "dealing with it" for weeks, I decided to call Mitchell Chiropractic. They called me back as soon as they were able and got me in the very next day for an assessment. Walking into Mitchell Chiropractic was warm and extremely welcoming! I felt right at home, and after meeting Dr. Mitchell I realized that I was in the right place! He was friendly, and has this personality that just makes you feel like you have known him for ages! Before you talk to your physician call Dr. Mitchell...I started to see Mark after an accident in 2016, where I suffered whiplash and was out of alignment. Nothing was working and I could not even get up out of bed I was so tired and the pain was so intense. In four months Dr. Mitchell has corrected my posture and eliminated more issues than I can list on this review - from chronic pain, face swelling, bells palsy, constant migraine, trouble swallowing, weakness etc. For 25 years I have lived with chronic back pain, crippling headaches and digestive issues. I was told by my physician after a car accident in 1989 to never ever see a chiropractor. Because of that advice my health suffered and I incurred unnecessary pain and expenses for other medical treatments that did nothing and often created more issues. If you are looking for a better quality of life, and nervous about a chiropractor Dr. Mitchell has a great bedside manner and will make you comfortable through the process of adjustments .

I have had chronic lower back and neck pain for the past few years and have been going through physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists trying to get some relief. Finally about a month ago I got talked into trying a chiropractor from a friend. I had never been to one before because I was honestly very nervous about it. I asked for some recommendations for a good one and a friend had nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Mitchell. I have been seeing him 3X a week now for almost 3 weeks and am already feeling better than I have in months. It’s going to be a process and I still have a long road ahead but I am confident Dr. Mitchell can help me. Also, not to mention how awesome him and his team are! I walked into Dr. Mitchell’s practice with very little knowledge about chiropractic care and some toes that had lost feeling. Dr. Mitchell took the time to explain to me how chiropractic care works before we started any course of correction treatment. Highly recommend! Honestly look forward to my visit every week. Dr. Mitchell is very informative and targets your specific problems based off x-rays of your spine. He has noted that I have lost the curve in my neck and through treatment it has started to improve - PROOF IS IN THE XRAY ;). I had previously worked with a different chiropractor and find Dr. Mitchell to be much more throughout and targets your needs specifically. He has also provided a number of exercises for me to do at home (something my previous chiropractor did not suggest... and also something that I admittedly haven't always been the best at remembering to do!) The facility is in a beautiful century home near downtown Galt with private parking behind. The interior space is well decorated with more contemporary vibes. I noticed via instagram that their administrative assistant Trish has been working there for over 30 years which makes me think it's also a great place to work and employees are treated as well as their clients are! From the first time I walked into Mitchell Chiropractic I knew it would be the place for me. Dr. Mark, Karen and Trish were all very welcoming and up beat. First assessment Dr. Mark immediately pin pointed troublesome area in my neck and spin and showed me X-rays of area we needed to work on. A friend of mine recommended me this place, when I first came, I like how he has his own x-ray service for a picture of the full spine, with other chiropractor places, I have paid 90$ for a first consultation and we had to go to a different lab to get an x ray of my daughter and they only provided the x-rays per sections and not full picture, the one here a Mitchel Chiropractic was free the first time and full spine. So I recomend this place if you want to safe time and not wonder around labs or begging to your family doctor to give you a referral for an spine Specialist or something like that. Next, we are still under treatment and we will see how things go with the results of our health concerns as we visit each week. Right now we are happy with the service and we are waiting to see results for better health, we have committed to come here 3 times a week and that's what we are doing. My kids like their chiropractor and we can see that he is very knowledgeable, not like many other places where I've been which I never liked or never felt like they could actually help us. Their prices are also fair compared with other places. Go and around the city and spend in some of them and you will see for yourself. This is my place to be now for me and my kids. Thank you!

Please know, for new customers and anyone who may be being extra cautious with the virus, the Chiropractor does not wear a mask. I made a comment before making the appointment that I was cautious of everything and it was never mentioned to me and therefore I was placed in a very uncomfortable situation. I am a 49 year old woman and my diagnose is trigeminal neuralgia. A very sharp pain in the lower jaw. The pain is very unbearable. Chewing,brushing of teeth,sneezing all triggers the electric shock . I was given cabamazipine to calm down the nerves which nearly killed me. I was given Lyrica which also didn't do much. I then read on the Internet a woman who has the same diagnose treated hers through a chiropractor. I then started searching for chiropractors around my area, and God being so good , I saw one in Cambridge Ontario named Dr. Mark Mitchell. I then sent him an email which he replied the same day and gave me the earliest appointment . Trust me I couldn't wait for that day. Upon arriving at his office, I could tell that I was in safe hands . His secretary Trish , a very nice and friendly lady welcomed me in. Mitchell can restore your health. He is devoted to his job. Always on time and he is always available when you need him. That is how much he loves his job. When I asked him to wear a mask for my appointment, he stated that there is no ByLaw requiring him to wear a mask, and he doesn't require his clients to wear masks either.
