I work in an office setting, but I also work out 3-5 times a week. My lower back and neck get sore from sitting at my desk, and my mid-back gets tension from my sports-focused lifestyle. Being health conscious, I figured out I would need to get some form of recovery treatment on a regular basis in order to offset the negative effects of my lifestyle over my body. So, 4 years ago I reached out to Dr. Meldrum and have been visiting the Life 'n Balance Wellness Centre ever since. I’m currently having chiropractic treatments for my back once every two weeks and a massage therapy once a month. It definitely helps. I no longer feel soreness in those tricky areas on my back and neck. The clinic also has a lot of other cool features and services. In 2016 I did a food sensitivity test, which helped me better understand which foods I should eat more, and which I should avoid. I’m happy to recommend the clinic to anyone that is interested in making a lifestyle change. Dr. Meldrum is not only a great practitioner, but also a great source of knowledge. I learned a lot of new things about how my spine works, how my lifestyle affects my posture and back health, and how to deal the pressures of my life in general. The place is awesome and the staff is always genuine. Sara’s great at accommodating you based on your availability and getting you your next appointment booked. Very friendly too! They take direct billing for most of their services, which makes it so much more convenient. The clinic has become my wellness advisor, for which I am forever thankful!

My experience at Life 'n Balance Wellness Centre has been really great!. Dr. Doug Meldrum is wonderful chiropractor who takes his time in listening to your problem and provides appropriate solution/suggestions for a speedy recovery. The receptionists are wonderful and so are the massage therapists there. The massage therapists understand your issue at hand and provide successful therapy accordingly. I never have been disappointed with the chiropractic, physiotherapy or massage therapy services. There are other services like naturopathy/acupuncture at the wellness centre, however, I do not have any experience to comment on them.

Unfortunately the current manager is not trauma informed and has 0 flexibility when it comes to mask exemptions, even though he himself does not wear one. Apparently the plexiglass barrier only works one way. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. If you have a mask exemption related to trauma anxiety I would not recommend this clinic. I would not recommend their services as they are not trauma informed, flexible, understanding and do not provide a safe an compassionate initial welcome for clients with breathing or anxiety related mask exemptions.

I had been to numerous chiropractors for years for hip and back issues until I just happened to book a massage last minute there when my back went out. At the massage, the therapist suggested I see their chiropractor Dr Meldrum which I did the next day. During that appointment Dr Meldrum recommended I get X-rays after doing a range test on me and the X-rays revealed that I grew extra bones in my hip socket which was causing bone on bone pain which required surgery. I had been in pain for years and had finally solved the mystery in the first visit. While I wait for surgery, I am getting massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor and physio treatments at Life 'n Balance. Highly recommend this one stop shop of wellness.

Sarah is a fantastic massage therapist! She is professional and really listens to your concerns, even provides post- massage stretching suggestions. Her techniques are awesome and she has a very calming way about her. They direct bill to insurance, have an excellent online booking system and the whole process is easy and relaxing for a massage therapy visit! Would definitely recommend Sarah.

Doug Meldrum is fantastic, I have been to other Chiropractors as I live in Kelowna. This guy does beat you up I never felt so good and mobile afterwards. He sometimes spends an hour working on you. Other chiropractors say better not aggrevate that area after several weeks I am still not able to use my arm and still in pain. They give me 5 to 15 minutes of their time for $60 I had the opportunity to go back to Calgary and sure enough 40 minutes later I feel the best I felt in a few months. Thank you Mr Meldrum

Really great, had 30 minute massage thinking it wouldn't do much but was amazing. The massues understood my issue right away and explained stretches to help
