Dr. Carson is the first healthcare professional I've met who genuinely wants to see me get better. I've suffered from vertigo and severe digestive problems for many years. I've seen so many doctors, naturopaths, etc., and none of them seem to care. I've been experiencing real improvement after seeing Dr. Carson and I can't thank him enough for helping me! It's so rare to find someone who is caring and competent. As soon as you meet him, you know he's extremely competent at what he does. I highly recommend him!

I have multiple herniated and bulging discs and have been seeing chiropractors on the regular for more than 12 years now. I’ve always felt that my adjustments were incomplete and that the chiropractor was leaving many parts of my back and or hips for the next visit. 2.5 years ago I was referred to Dr Carson and the difference is night and day. Carson does complete body adjustments at all of my visits. His neck decompression technique is nothing short of amazing. I’m actually 6’3 (again) and weigh 285 lbs, Carson has no trouble working things out. When friends or colleagues complain of back/neck pain and the lack of results from their current chiropractor I tell them they have to go see Carson. Do yourself a favor

Ask for Dr. Smith and you will be better in no time! It really is like magic! I was so scared to go see a chiropractor, thought the reviews were too good to be true but was pleasantly surprised. He correctly diagnosed my problem and said it would take 3 sessions to fix it and by the 3rd session my limp and pain was gone! Dr. Smith will explain to you what is happening so you have a deeper understanding of your body and how it is healing. I think that helps the healing process as well. I recommend him to everyone I meet!

He always wants to figure out the why behind your aches and pains. Always feel good agter a treatment. If you're looking for a real deep tissue massage, massage therapist Shane Guertin is your guy. Love that the clinic has multiple dr's under one roof.

I’ll start by saying the doctors are amazing. That part is 5 stars. What they only get 2 for is how long you will wait past your appointment time. At least 20 minutes past until you get into a room and then another 15-30 before you see your chiropractor. It’s like clockwork. I’ve been a few times and every time, you have to add at least 45 minutes before you see anyone after your appointment time. Next time I’m just showing 45 minutes late, because it is ridiculous. If I was late, they’d probably charge me or cancel my appointment.

dr.carson is absolutely amazing, not only does he listen but he watches how you move to be able to treat you to the fullest, helps you understand what's happening with your body and how he will treat it. his knowledge, his professionalism, his compassion shows that he's the right and best dr. around! and yes, sometimes appointments run over but know when it's your turn, he will give 110% to you as well ????

I have been seeing Dr. Carson Smith for almost a year now and before seeing him I was feeling dizzy, nauseous & ultimately drained of all of my energy. I am a hairstylist so ultimately I cannot be feeling this way. After trying a few different routes to fix this (my neck & shoulders were out of place causing my nerves to be cut off by a joint in my neck) I was referred to Dr. Carson by a client. Every time I leave Dr. Carson's office I rant & rave about how much I love him because he has changed my life for the better! He explains every single thing with so much detail and education behind it, he is passionate about what he does which you will learn with just one meeting with him. I would highly recommend anybody to go see Carson if you are having any sort of pain or discomfort. He also referred me to their massage therapist, Sonia - who is clearly also very passionate about her profession & educational. Highly recommend Sonia at this clinic! I have seen Sonia for several massages and she is very skilled at getting my tension knots out, she has found a few places where I was holding tension that no other therapist has found before and it really brought me relief. She uses good firm pressure but I’m not left bruised after - which has happened elsewhere :(. Recently, Sonia also helped me with prenatal massage / pressure points.

Dr. Carson Smith has been wonderful in treating an array of issues I have, including TMJ. I would highly recommend him! I have seen 2 chiropractors previously, both of them try to sell me a big package that comes to $1500 in total. I always wondered if they need that long to fix my problems, are they actually good at what they do. So for a long time, I didn't think chiropractic practices are for me, because it felt all they wanted to do is make money by doing the same adjustments, while my issues never went away. Something should be done on these chiropractors... they really make a bad name of rest of the competent chiropractors in the city. So that's why I appreciate Dr. Carson Smith so much more. There was no big package that I need to buy, he didn't make me feel like my spine is about to fall apart or that my inner organs are gonna have problems if I don't get my spine fixed asap (which is what the other 2 chiropractors made me feel). He thoroughly explained where he see the problems are and how he will fix them. And then he just fix them! How refreshing! He did gave me exercises to do daily in order to maintain those adjustments he had done. Without a doubt, the pleasure is entirely mine for crossing path with Dr. Carson Smith!

I went to Chinook Chiropractic after 5 years of back pain. I had been seeing another massage therapist and chiropractor for years, but things were not getting better, despite pain medication and months of physiotherapy. In December of 2020 I was in debilitating pain. I had stopped doing all of the things I loved and struggled to pick up my 25 lbs toddler. As a mom of 3, working full time as a geologist I was desperate and losing hope. Just 6 months later, following the advice of Dr. Gareau and massage therapist Shane Guertin, I am back to myself!
