I’ve been going to the wellness centre now for two weeks, the staff is very friendly, supportive and extremely caring! I’ve been in a lot of pain the last few months and even after just a few sessions I see a difference. I highly recommend the Justine Blainey wellness centre.

This my second visit for the issue I am addressing, however, I was treated by Dr. Blake before and I felt my condition improved to the point where I thought treatment was no longer required. Very disappointed and have gone to another clinic, where the experience has been night and day. I have seen a chiropractor on and off for over 30 years (who has retired) and this Wellness Centre is uncomfortable and off-putting because they focus on money vs well-being. I was assertively quoted $4k for the year with 2 visits per week, and an "easy" payment plan. My expectation is that the conversation should be collaborative with a focus on my health. If money is their main discussion, they should make pricing transparent and available online. On a side note- they request clients to wipe down the adjustment table when they are complete (I have not experienced this anywhere else nor was I trained in covid-19 sanitization policies). The text messaging automated system is good in theory, but not when they get the dates wrong and say "so nice to meet you"... when we never met.

I have been trying to fix my back from 5 years.. they all are same and want your money and will blame you for not attending the sessions regularly. Day one -they told me to get X-ray done because they couldn’t see what they wanted to see on the MRI that I had with me.. Day two - 2nd doctor saw my MRI and concluded everything without even asking for X-ray... And both days treatment lasted 4 minutes max. Day3- they’re pitching me to pay $4000 and come 3 days a week for a year. I actually believed chiropractic care will fix me... Please call me when you’re done making money and actually want to do what Doctors are supposed to do. Disappointed.

Dizzyness is debilitating and frightening. Believe me when I say relief can be found with Chiropractic adjustments. I was having almost daily dizzy spells for a few weeks when I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr Blake Broker at Justine Blainey Wellness Centre. I’ve only had one mild spell in almost 3 weeks. May I suggest if you suffer dizzy spells, schedule an appointment now.

For a good deal of my life now, I've dealt with chronic, daily pain over most of my body, muscle soreness and just general poor health. Most Doctors I've been to just shrug their shoulders at me, or aren't really interested in my health, which is extremely disheartening. Or even worse, they think I'm exaggerating and that it's all in my head. I didn't get any of that here. Dr. Justine Blainey understood from the start that my problems were genuine, and has been working with me to alleviate them. My daily pain has lessened, I rarely get the sort of burning, aching pain in my legs that used to be a regular occurrence. My body also doesn't feel so stiff. She takes the time to explain just why spinal health is so important, and it really does make sense. You also learn about the (scarily) negative effects of most prescription drugs on a human body. She's always happy to answer any questions you might have, is extremely friendly (like all the staff), and genuinely cares about your health.

Dr Justine is Great! Long story short I had called her wellness center on a holiday only to realize they where closed, so I left a voicemail explaining the situation at hand. About 15 mins later Dr Justine calls me back, turns out she’s on a family vacation in another country, or else she would have come out to see me right away. Firstly who picks up the phone on vacation? Not me ????, secondly Dr Justine eased the situation and gave great advice to get me threw the night. The very next morning I had a colleague of hers at my home; whom was also very professional and helpful. In conclusion clearly Dr Justine Blainey is a good natured, gentle, empathetic individual whom runs a great establishment therefor I would highly recommend the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre to everyone!!! With the Pandemic, WFH requires me to sit at a place for 8 - 10 hours gave me a sore back, and leaves me with awful neck pain at the end of the day. This center was suggested to me by a colleague who spoke highly of this place, motivated me to go for a free checkup using the coupon available on their website - glad I went in. The results showed that my spine is in a bad shape which is one of the primary reasons for my neck pain. I met with Dr. Justine Blainey and she explained the reasons for my discomfort and suggested a treatment plan. OMG, it changed my life a lot, my pain is improving and becoming better every day, and my back is less sore. With all of this, my quality of life is improving so much, I am so less irritable as I was in constant discomfort. I able to move my neck more, and it's less stiff. I am glad I found this wellness center during Pandemic, they have all the necessary precautions put in place. I feel safe visiting the center during Pandemic. Dr. Justine Blainey is the best, I recommend getting oneself checked. I am sure I am going to be a regular for a very long time :)

I had my first meeting today at the clinic. From the front staff to the staff that does your evualation they are so professional, educated, caring putting all fears away. What ever issue you are dealing with they have the trained professional staff to guide you through every question and figure out how to treat you. What impressed me the most is they would not touch me till I do xrays to make sure they know exactly what they are going to do to get you healthy, pain free and enjoying life instead of pain. I strongly recommend going and finding out for yourself. They have your best interest at heart it's not about just getting a sale they honestly want to help heal you so you can enjoy your life. Super duper friendly staff. First time getting an adjustment and I was pretty nervous and skeptical. They are very professional while also friendly! Thorough explanation and tells you what to expect. Dr Blainey is an excellent specialist. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, as are her staff and colleagues. The environment is very relaxed. Its conveniently located with the X-ray clinic just a minute drive up the road. Hours of operation are great, for those who work 9 to 5 jobs, they will accomodate you up to 8pm and as early at 7am. No complaints! :)

Upon entering the Wellness center for help with knee pain, it was strange to see a group of women in the reception area doing Yoga. It was neither private nor serene.The seating was facing these older ladies doing downward dog pose in their yoga tights (mental pic still haunts me).I would never find peace in that but to each their own I guess. The preliminary check of my spine was interesting but from that brief scan I was deemed horribly misaligned. Justine definitely spends very little time before moving on...I was asked to lie face down on the chair when I saw someone's hair where my face was supposed to be..it was nasty.The entire space at this center is so confined that you feel claustrophobic. I was sent for xrays and told the recommended place (Heartlake)will take me right away without an appointment when she does referrals. I was told I would get results and a report by wednesday when I come back to hear about my condition and the plan moving forward....so even before an xray to determine an issue,I was diagnosed with a condition that required an info session that would explain it. I was also told that I needed a support person with me to help with understanding the costs associated with my treatment..Again, I have not had the xrays yet and why do I need a support person to hear the price?.I was told it would take an hour and a half.She talks really fast and throws medical jargon so fast all you can do is nod. She also positions herself within close proximity to you Education session: I applaud their "we are a family" approach to care.They tried hard to sell you at every corner mercilessly. The focus is money with the educational components used to justify lengthy treatments. Her mother sat in the session as if she was a potential client and ooed and ahhhed at everything she saw as if it was the first time she had ever seen this life changing video.I felt stuck in an infomercial before getting my xray results and treatment. Finally 1:1, I was told about my spine but not my knees.Eventually I was shown my xrays and told I needed 64 chiropractic visits ($4000).She told me about my knee and quickly offered a $50 adjustment.I wanted to experience what I would be paying for 64 times so I agreed.It lasted 7mins.She pressed my back,adjusted her table a few times,turned my leg left and right,pulled it pressed my back again and then said I was all done.????The presenter did say they do adjustments in less than 15mins so persons can quickly go about their day but if I'm in need of care,I dont want this quick service approach.It all felt wrong.They are very pushy,creating an access card with your name on it and saying when I return I just need to sign in..good one,by doing this you are psychologically guided into accepting their services and they are not asking if you want it,they are acting like you already agreed to their $4000 plan. I'm sure this works on many persons but it was not for me. They said savings are gained by paying the full amount because pay as you go is more costly but after paying once and seeing what you get for $50 ,it is easy to see why they would prefer pushing a lump some because the actual service is so minor. I found a different doctor who I am si far very satisfied with,no pushy sales,no infomercial, just actual care.If this wellness center works for you then great but it just wasnt for me.

First time going to a chiropractor.. was not exactly pleased. The staff is very friendly and I really found everyone to be super pleasant! But I found the actual service to be lacking. There are at any given time 5 people in rooms waiting to be seen by the doctor for their 1 minute and 30 second long adjustment. I understand adjustments don’t take long, but $50 for literally under 2 minutes of treatment? No thank you! I actually timed the dr working on 2 clients and it literally was 90 seconds per client on the dot. Crazy. I listened to the dr give her shpeel to 3 other patients as I waited for mine (you can hear through the curtains that separate the rooms) and she basically says the same thing to everyone and does the same thing to everyone. I found the staff and her seemed like they were reading from a script.. I did not feel the care was personalized at all. Waste of time and money in my opinion.. will be going elsewhere.

Though it is 1.5 hour drive it is so worth it. Dr. Justin and the staff are great and friendly in a Family atmosphere. Our family has been using the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre for over 3 years. We have used many services in this office. My sons and I started out doing Chiropractic treatment with Justine, and over a year later my husband joined in. We have reaped the benefit from the care we received. I used to experience regular problems with sinus infections, bronchitis and even pneumonia. Since starting Chiropractic care I have not had to visit the doctor and get a prescription for antibiotics. My last checkup with the doctor she asked why I hadn't had a script for meds in years, I explained that I was seeing a chiropractor and that is why I hadn't had any infections. She was skeptical - but I know what is reality. Chiropractic care helped. Both my children are special needs and require medication for their conditions. Since starting chiropractic care the boys have not had any medication adjustments that normally occurred over time. As they grow bigger the dosage usually needs to increase, not so with chiropractic care. Our family has also taken advantage of the Registered Massage Therapists in the office. I injured a muscle in my shoulder and was treated by a combination of massage and chiropractic care - as a result of this I didn't have to visit the family doctor and get some sort of medication/anti-inflammatory medication to solve the problem. Most recently I have decided to try acupuncture for a new injury - the treatment is phenomenal! I highly recommend this wellness centre for all your needs.

Waste of time and money in my opinion.. will be going elsewhere and I’m not writing this as am new to this In total I have spend $1750 and don’t think this is a small amount.

The best wellness centre, I have been too. The staff are all pleasant, from the front desk to the chiropractors. You feel as part of a family. Usually there are no wait times for your appointments but if you go during their busiest time, the wait is still no more than 5-10mins. The chiropractors are all very experienced and make you very comfortable during your adjustments.

Dr Blake pinpoints the exact area causing discomfort & what I have learned is the cause is not necessarily where it hurts. After the stroke he made it possible for me to walk free of pain and the endurance of activity for the lower back is getting longer & longer after each visit. Even being limited with how to treat my neck his experience allowed him to address any hot spots there too. I recommend him constantly. Anyone I know that is treated by him loves how they feel after an adjustment. Even my kids were adjusted on a regular basis & when they had questions he patiently took the time to answer them. Justine and staff are great, however adjustments are super expensive and since Ive been there for almost 2 years the prices have increased for the packages and personal plans. making them non affordable. If it’s suppose to be less cost since I was going often before but seems now with price increase of adjustments comes out to more or same . Very disappointed how our wellness comes at an expensive cost. There should be minimal instalment payments available for the packages is my recommendation. I did notice a difference when attending more frequently and instant relief with an adjustment. But my stars have lowered due to the fees. I went in for a "Free" consultation, which I ended up having to pay for because consultations to them only involve me writing down my problem and them walking me around to tell me how awesome they are. I should have stopped there but I was in pain and wanted it fixed. I had a few session with them; then they told me my "recovery plan" was going to last a year, it would cost $4,000 and there was no guarantee they could fix me! I immediately stopped going and went to a different professional that fixed me in three sessions. Don't go here they are just after your money!

I had my first visit to the Blainey Wellness Center today. Despite the fact that I am visiting during this Covid pandemic, I was so happy to see the immense detail of sanitation and hygiene that is being practiced at the center, mindfully by everyone! Usually the first session is an assessment session and the treatment sessions are on later dates, since i was in a lot of pain, Dr. Justine and her team quickly called a nearby x-ray clinic and arranged for me to have my x-ray taken today and return back to the wellness center right after to also have my first treatment session today. Just a quick note to both say "thank you" to Dr. Justine and Dr. Blake for their help over the past many years, and to share my latest experience. I am a Chef and spend most of days on my feet all day and I have been an athlete most of my life and tend to go a little harder than I should. Some may say even a little reckless at times. With such attitude comes obvious injury. In this case a shoulder injury. One which left me with very little mobility and very little strength to lift anything higher than my chest. After a frustrating month of "toughing it out", with results from ultra sound and CT scanning done by my lifelong family doctor, that were far less than conclusive, I took a trip a trip to Brampton to Work with Dr. Justine, Dr. Blake, and the team. This is the point were things got interesting. After not even 5 minutes and some, although painful, very effective stretching and massage the range of motion in may arm began improving. To say the least I was extremely surprised and amazed that after a month of testing with my family doctor, instantaneous results were a possibility. I continued working with the team for the next 3 weeks all with with remarkable progression before I was sent on my way with reading material and a minor training regiment in order to "keep myself healthy and out of our office!" All in all it was educational , sometimes painful, and the results were incredible. It was truly a remarkable experience! Thank you Doctors. All of your work has been very much appreciated!

This was my first visit to the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre so I had a consultation and assessment for treatment. The facility is clean and organized, staff are very professional. Dr Steve was very knowledgeable, thorough, used clear and concise communication and at the end of my assessment, recommended x-rays in order to provide images to assist him in creating a more accurate treatment plan for me. I was able to get the x-rays quickly and look forward to my next appointment. I have had many Chiropractor experiences over many years and most use a ‘cookie cutter’ type approach to adjustments - everyone gets the same treatment each time, no matter what your issues are. BUT I am happy to say, this was not the case at the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre! If you are looking for personalized, knowledgeable, professional treatment, then you need to book an appointment, you will not be disappointed!!

I've been going to the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre for just over a year. I used to suffer from chronic sinus headaches that could get so bad I would just need to go to bed. I haven't had a sinus headache for months and the last time I had one, it was mild and only lasted a few hours. A few weeks ago I put my back out shoveling snow. I've had the same issue before which lasted more than a month. This time, after only three adjustments by Dr. Blainey in the same week, my back pain is completely gone. Decided to go with Justine Blainey wellness centre, because of their discounted price of $67 instead of the initial $130,along with their "4.7 star" rating. After my first consultation, I was awaiting X-rays and my next appointment where they were going to discuss my reports, and work on my first adjustment for my lower back. I spoke with their receptionist over the phone who told me the adjustment was 5-10 minutes. Which is ridiculous due to the fact that the cost is $52 for 5 minutes of their time to actually correct you injury/spine,etc. They prolong the adjustment by making you watch videos. Dr Davis, the one to do my adjustment literally was working hands on with my back for 4 minutes!! I checked the time it was 7:26pm when he started and told me I was all good at 7:30pm. This is outrageous, then he began to discuss treatment plans which was priced at 4000$ for the year, and other plans which were focused leeching your pockets rather than helping your issues. They offered 12 adjustments for 600$, which is all mediocre adjustments lasting 3-4 minutes. This is a money making tactic, using your hope of relief and prolonging it for a year, or 3 months. This package is offered to all customers regardless of injuries. Please look at other reviews for your satisfaction. This is 1000% honest review. Please don't waste your time and money expecting your getting a deal for 67$, when that doesn't even cover 1 adjustment only analyzing you. They don't even deserve 1 star.

This is not a personalised treatment, rather a conveyor belt that is used to make as much money as possible in as short amount of time. You truly feel like you are being pushed in and out as quickly as possible with actual adjustments only taking 2 minutes. Justine is very condescending, actually did a demonstration showing how you wipe the adjustment seat...do you think your clients are stupid? First off, this is the time that I've ever posted a review about a service that I've received - positive or negative. But I felt that I needed to review this service for the benefit of others To begin, I've had neck and arm pain for about a year. I previously went to another place and my pain was gone! but when I moved back to brampton and the pain and tension started up again, I found a close place that had a pretty good overall review. Everything seemed fine with the first initial session. They went over everything and did some tests to determine what had going on with my neck. Then they send you for x-rays. This is the part that started the raise a few flags. The technician almost seemed to be positioning my neck in a way to make it look worse. Not sure if this was on purpose or from lack of training, but I definitely believe that this influenced the appearance of my spine, as I went for other x-rays with my family doctor and he wasn't really worried with the appearance. Anyways, I went for 3 or 4 other sessions which only last about 5 minutes and consist of cracking the neck, a light massage on the problem area and some stretches. After this you are required to pay 45.00. You then go to an information session to learn about chiropractic therapy and the results of your x-rays and the cost of treatment. I apparently had extensive loss of curvature in my neck and was quotes almost 5000! But if you pay in full you save 20%. I didn't go back for about 2 weeks due to personal and work engagements and received many phone calls. When I called back and said it was too expensive and that there was other treatments I could try first. I got a call back from justine blainey herself saying that they don't have a treatment that expensive and that I really need to be seeing a chiropractor. This place seems more like a sales office/ fast food drive-thru for pain relief. And with the prices they charge, I expected better and more time with me!

I was suffering with back pain and taking pills for more than 6 months before I came to the wellness centre. My spine was in really bad shape but I couldn't afford the full sessions. Unfortunately, my experience at this center was very poor. Aside from getting injured by the practitioner during a initial treatment (which resulted in my inability to carry out daily and work related tasks for over a week), I feel my visits here have always been rushed. The practitioner does not take her time to sit down and discuss potential questions/concerns, as she is always running in and out of the exam rooms. Furthermore, when I outlined what my financial capacity is around scheduling weekly treatments, the practitioner continued to advertise and promote other costs (ie., exercise programs, etc), when I have already outlined my concerns with the costs affiliated with just the treatments. I also did not feel ANY relief from my treatments. I saw my RMT therapist yesterday and she also outlined she felt swelling in my neck area, and did not feel any improvements in my spinal health. I am happy for those who find this center helpful, as that is amazing. I hope in the future, the practitioner pays closer attention to her treatments, so she does not injure anyone else, and takes time to sit down and listen to any questions, concerns a patient may have.

I had severe back pain after delivery. Upon reviewing my reports I was told my back is misaligned and I have some bone loss. They pushed me to pay in full for 20 chiropractic treatment which I clearly refused. Dr Justine recommended that I need 20 treatments and that's where I wanted to get a second opinion. I went to see another chiropractor and was advised that my back is just sore from delivery, Dr confirmed that I do not have boneloss nor misaligned back!! This place is all about money! While the staff are very nice, there a a bunch of nuances in this clinic that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I initially came here because of the positive reviews, but your best bet is to look at the lowest ratings and make your decision. My first 3 visits were all these werid "orientations", the first one they walked me through the small clinic, made me watch this ridiculous 7 or 9 minute video and then gave me a lesson on the body, then sent me for an xray - I paid a "discounted price of $67" because I came in from Google..... the 2nd visit they went through my results, the doctor did an adjustment which took a couple of minutes then the tech came in and walked me through these plans with ridiculous prices ($4k), when I said no, they offered me a pay in advance bundle telling me if I did this I can save money - I opted to pay for each visit. Then on my third (and now final) visit, they did another "orientation" about the office and the steps I have to take when I come in, they did the adjustment and then went over these payment plans again. Honestly, the weridest place I've ever been. Left a bad taste in my mouth after the first appointment, so I'm off to a other chiro that gives the first impression of health and patient focused rather than you paying the most money upfront.

My family and I started going to Dr. Justine over a year ago. I came to the Wellness Centre with poor posture and neck pain. After a year of adjustments, I've actually gotten a few compliments on my posture and the neck pain no longer bothers me. If I ever sleep in an uncomfortable position or injure myself, I know I can go in and Dr. Justine will know what to do. She takes time to listen to any concerns I have and answer all questions. When I started, the cost and projected year-long plan put me off a bit, but it was worth the money. I feel comfortable with the staff, all of whom greet me when I arrive. All in all, a good experience!

Very bad experience. After 4 visits, had no relief at all. Justine charges a lot of money but spends 2-5 minutes per session. One of the assistants made me clean the bed before using (even handed me the spray bottle and wipes). This was something that should have already been done. I've gone to other offices and never had to clean their equipment or furniture. Evrything should already be sanitized for each patient. They wanted me to sign up for a longer treatment that cost $4000+. I don't even know why I went the 4 times that I did. Must've been because I was in so much pain but finally realized these people do not care at all about your well being and only care about the money you're willing to spend. Waste if money and time. I am seeing a professional chiropractor now who is respectful of my time and has relieved my pain.

Where do I start? Before coming to Justine Blainey Wellness Centre, I had extreme problems with headaches. Place is nice, people are very nice. However because during a total of 7 visits I saw 4 different doctors I don't feel I got the personalized care I wanted/ deserve. How do I get 3 adjustments in a week from 3 different people? Sometimes it felt like nothing was being done at all, other times better. I looked forward to seeing Dr. Gillis but others barely made adjustments the way he did. How is that progressive care? The people were friendly and the online ability to make appointments excellent. But what does it all matter if I'm being treated like a farm animal coming in for slaughter? This would be a 5 star review if the care was more personalized.

Four years ago, I was in poor health and could not stand, sit or walk for long. I met Dr Justine and was impressed by her enthusiasm and desire to help people to improve their lives, and she always has time to answer any questions I may have. It has been an education watching how my spine has improved at each evaluation session, and I now am back to my active life. I look forward to my weekly adjustment, and always feel better for it. Sometimes, I need an extra visit or two, and there is never a problem getting an appointment. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful and greet me by name when I check in for my adjustment - on occasion, there will be another doctor seeing patients and they are my friends, too. I am so glad I was introduced to Chiropractic care, and to Dr Justine, because I hate to think where I would be now if I hadn't - probably using canes or in a wheelchair!

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review online and decided to do so because dues must be given if deserved. I am a runner/triathlete and had been suffering from high hamstring tendinosis for about 4 years. This severely affected my training and I almost completely gave up racing. Throughout these years I saw several reputable physios, chiros, physicians and massage therapists all of whom, though they tried, dismally failed to cure me. I gave up hope. I was in the Orangeville running free store asking about a pair of compression shorts. Asked by the salesperson the reason I wanted the extra blood circulation on my hamstrings we got into a conversation about my problem and she told me somebody she knew had the same problem which was successfully treated in Justine Blainey Wellness centre by Steve Gillis. I booked an appointment with Steve. He asked I see him twice a week for a month. He said If by then nothing changed, he was not the one to cure me. Long story short, I’m back to running. My leg is feeling much better. He was the only one who pinpointed and treated the root of my problem and not just the symptom, unlike most of the previous specialists. There were alot more negative reviews before, not sure where they went., because I had written one as well... Maybe they created a new profile or something. A few years ago, my husband went to this clinic and i would have to say it was the worst mistake he ever made with his health. He generally has had a bad back as a teenage. The pushed him to prepay for this treatment package. Well, #1, he threw out his back after a few treatments. It had NEVER happened to him before and the all of a sudden his back threw out. #2, the treatments made it worse and didn't help at all. My husband thought he was making an investment by getting his back fixed and it only messed it up more. They use all these gadgets and gizmos and terms that go over your head to scare you and tell you how horrible your back is without realizing that the human race has evolved with our chiro's this whole time. When I went in to see what it was about. They tried to set me up for this prepaid plan/system and I DON't have a bad back. She showed me the scans and pretty much exaggerated on a few points and made it sound like my life would be horrible if I don't get these treatments. Obviously I refused. Don't get me wrong, I went to a chiro much later, one that I trusted more (Dr. John Bastone in Brampton) who is much nicer and explains things alot better and doesn't get you to sign up for some bogus plan that you are bound to. Back to my husband, he ended up quitting on Chiro and going with acupuncture, stretches and Epsom salt soaks. He's a fitness freak and bikes and works out like crazy and even with that strain on his back, his back is still doing better than when he went to this money hungry doctor.

Total rip off, don’t care about your pain or treatment. I went after reading reviews. No doubt staff is always smiling and welcoming. After asking about prevention and exercises i can do at home to relieve pain and prevent in future, i was told we will discuss in detail later, after asking three times did not get an answer.Instead i was Presented with a 4000 dollar tretment plan.After saying i will think about signing up for it. I asked again about prevention and questions about my condition. Finally i was told it will be discussed after i sign up. So basically you donot get answers after paying 135 for examination and diagnosis and paying 48 dollars for every adjustment until you sign up for 4000 dollar plan. oh and no relief from pain even slightly after adjustments and not even got asked by chriopractor how my pain was.

I’ve been going to the wellness centre for several years for weekly massage and Chiro. At my age (mid 80’s) it’s difficult to get the kind of exercise needed to keep my body adjusted. They do it for me. Of note, after scheduled x-rays, my scoliosis has not worsened. Dr. Justine always takes time to answer my questions and in laymen’s terms. Kelly first and now Tabitha have manically removed the soreness from my under-used muscles. It’s not hard to describe when asked, how much better I feel after the session.
