SUPINDER BANGA. I was suffering with upper back pain ,migraine and diaphragm issues but after I got a few treatments from Dr. Kent, My pain reduced so much .He also treated me during my whole pregnancy. Dr. Kent is AMAZING! I have been seeing him for over 2 years and he is extremely knowledgable and friendly. I originally started visiting him because of a very painful back spasm. He helped me get pain free and created a plan using exercises and chiropractic care to help improve my back and neck issues. Dr. Kent used example x-rays to show how my spine and neck condition would worsen if we didn't work to correct the underlying problems. Through Chiropractor visits, specialized exercises, and custom orthotics, I have improved drastically. Dr. Kent also helped me with specialized treatment during my recent pregnancy. I had hip and leg pain during my 3rd trimester that he was able to correct with adjustments. The Chiropractic Wellness Centre has adjustable tables so I was able to have appointments right up until I had my baby! Chiropractic care definitely made my pregnancy go much smoother!

We took our very fussy, very gassy, very unsettled 3 week old son to Dr. Kent after hearing about the benefits of chiropractic care for newborns. At first I was very nervous, but within minutes of meeting Dr. Kent I felt completely comfortable. He took the time to listen to me and to explain what he would be doing. The adjustments are very gentle. Our son is 6 weeks old now and we have continued to see Dr. Kent weekly - it’s one of our favourite days! We see such a difference in our son after only a few visits. I have a full time cleaning business and I have been a patient of Dr. Newton's for 5 wks. I was getting ready to go clean a house and all of sudden I just couldn't walk and the pain in my back was debilitating. The warning signs had been there for a long time and many times I thought to myself, I need to go see Dr. Newton. For years I have heard about Dr. Newton and how awesome he is but never went partially due to fear and finances. I have even sent people to him without even meeting him myself. Everyone I sent had nothing but praise. I should have taken my own advice, but instead I masked what was going on with my back with Aleve. About 5 wks ago I had no choice as I was desperate. I could barely walk let alone go clean a house. I called Dr. Newton and they got me in that day. Dr. Newton did xrays for free and gave me the not so good news about my back. A twist in my spine hitting a nerve, lop sided hips and arthritis in my neck. I had an adjustment that day and another one two days later. By the next day I was able to go back to light duty work. Within a week I was back in full swing, but not without being more cautious about how I move and bend etc. If it wasn't for Dr. Newton I would probably be without a job because nobody is going to hire someone who is crippled up with a bad back. I thank you Dr. Newton for giving me my mobility and my livelihood back. Also thank you for the feasible program you have mapped out for me. I am feeling like old car that is having an awesome tune up. I can't wait to get cracked is what I tell my clients and they joke that I am addicted to it...hahaha Don't wait until you can't walk!!!

We took our newborn to see Dr. Kent after a recommendation from our midwife, to help our baby with gas, fussiness and a consult on torticollis. Dr. Kent answered all our questions before starting any treatment and made us feel so comfortable with the process. We were not familiar with chiropractic care prior to this, and Dr. Kent takes the time to explain what he is doing, and how it will benefit our daughter. He is so gentle with her, she doesn't cry or fuss during treatment. This has been so helpful for her pain, and for all of us to get better sleep. The office staff are wonderful, the clinic is incredibly clean and parking is convenient. The online booking tool makes scheduling & rescheduling her appointments a breeze. So very highly recommended!

Having never had chiropractic treatments until a few months ago, I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Kent made me feel at ease and I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that, after only a few treatments the extreme pain in my Sciatica area was gone. What a relief. Dr. Kent was referred to me by a friend when I couldn't get rid of a pain in my back. While I thought that I was visiting a physiotherapist and very nervous to find out that instead it was a chiropractor. My recollection of what I had heard in the past about chiropractors was not very reassuring. However, I was very pleased to hear Melissa tell me that Dr. Kent would evaluate if it was indeed what I needed. Rightly so, Dr. Kent said that a patient will sometimes require both physio and chiropractic help but from my description of the pain, he felt that xrays would most likely tell my story. I was very surprised when he showed me my xrays and his recommendations of treatments. My pain was lessened from the very first treatment and completely gone before I even attended my second visit. If you are pregnant, and wondering if you should see a Chiropractor, the answer is YES !!!!! Dr. Kent has been a miracle worker for me during this pregnancy. I had been seeing Dr. Kent for about a year before I got pregnant, and could already feel the benefits of chiropractic medicine, but it was when I got pregnant that I truly became a believer! Unfortunately I have Sacroiliac (SI) joint paint with this pregnancy. SI joint pain is common in pregnancy as the pelvis changes, but I was experiencing it quite early on, at around 21 weeks. I should also mention I am a nurse, continuing to do shift work, therefore working on my feet for 12+ hours. When I brought my pain to Dr. Kent's attention, he was concerned about how early I was experiencing it, and spoke to me regarding a care plan to try and keep me working for as long as possible. He suggested I minimize my walking outside of work, wearing supportive shoes in the house, provided me with exercises, and encouraged me to continue with my weekly adjustments. Unfortunately a few weeks later, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and was being encouraged to walk to help keep my blood sugars in check. I told Dr. Kent this, and he was highly encouraging to start walking again, and we would try and minimize the discomfort with the other methods he provided. Despite having to walk more than my back wanted me to, continuing to see Dr. Kent for my weekly adjustments has truly been a saviour. I am now writing this post at 33 weeks pregnant, and my SI joint pain has not gotten worse despite my growing baby, and continued walking. I have been able to continue working and I haven't had to suffer in pain. I usually arrive to my appointment with some discomfort, and can honestly say I leave with a feeling of relief EVERY SINGLE TIME! As for the facilities, there are a total of 4 rooms for adjustment at the office. All 4 rooms can be used if you are pregnant at the beginning, and once you get too big, they have 2 rooms with adjustment benches for pregnant women. The bench lifts up at the hips, allowing your bump to not be pressed on. As for the staff, everyone is AMAZING !! The girls at the front are always SO accommodating and friendly, and Dr. Kent himself is such a pleasure to be treated by! I truly could not speak higher of Alliston Chiropractic, and the amazing work they have done to assist me during this pregnancy!

Finding Dr. Kent has been a miracle!!! There's nothing like discovering a natural healthcare approach to finding relief from my seasonal allergies (hayfever). My hayfever disrupts my daily life, from work, to being the best mother to my kids, to just being me. When I met with Dr. Kent, we discussed both acupuncture and chiropractic therapy. Dr Kent is a friendly person and it's easy to feel comfortable with him. I had upper back pain but when I went for my initial visit he found problems with my lower back and hips as well, which affects my intestines and digestion. (I've had digestion problems since childhood). Now after a few months of adjustments my upper back pain is gone, and my digestion has improved. Obviously I'm very happy with these results, and I would recommend Dr Kent to anyone.

So to start I have been a Musician for 30 years now and move a lot when im on stage and was in a motor vehicle accident 12 years ago. I have always been afraid to see a chiropractor.I was scared. did not believe it would help.. I am 45 years young now and thought why now... Well I will tell you why. Before going to Dr. Kent I had pain & stiffness in my hips all of the time, my neck felt stiff and I know now by looking at older pictures that my posture was different. I chalked it up to old age, (is 61 old ??). I have been seeing Dr. Kent weekly for almost 3 years. I felt positive results almost immediately and within a few short months no longer felt pain or discomfort in my hips; I turn my head instead of from the shoulders up to look left or right. I am 110% satisfied and will continue to see Dr. Kent indefinitely. One more thing .... do the exercises! I've been going long enough now to know that it makes a world of difference.

I have known Dr. Kent for over 20 years and after a number of car accidents and serious injuries, I would not be ambulatory without him. I have gone to physiotherapists, other chiropractors, acupuncturists and even surgeons. Prognosis was not really good BUT he believed and did everything he could. He also knows what his scope of practice is and will work together with other medical professionals to ensure a continuity and transparency in care. He has always had great folks working with him and been a huge part in giving to the community. I remember fondly meeting his Mother years ago who was a huge inspiration to him and they started food and toy drives whereby he did not accept payment for services on many occasions as long as you donated to a very worthy cause to help those in need. If you struggle with TMJ my advice would be to see Dr Kent FIRST before trying anything else, keep reading for my story... Recently I found myself struggling with TMJ so bad I couldn't close my mouth far enough to get my teeth to touch, and I couldn't open my mouth far enough to get a spoon in. I had come to see Dr Kent as a teen with the same issue and remember him resolving it, so I came back now 17 years later for his help again. For my first appointment Dr Kent used acupuncture and some deep tissue massage - after this visit alone my mouth could open far enough to get a spoon in. My subsequent visits have been more deep tissue massage and chiropractic. Now after a couple of months of a combination of chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage, my jaw is at 95% normal function. My jaw is the best it's been since my last visit 17 years ago! What are you waiting for?! Call Dr Kent today! You won't regret it!

At 36 weeks I was told my baby had settled in breech presentation (baby was the wrong way for labor) and was told I will most likely have an elective csection. My midwives gave me a list of ways to turn the baby but was told the likelihood was less than 5 percent. I decided on acupuncture as my route, and my midwife recommended Dr . Kent. Upon meeting him, he suggested I try chiropractic treatment before acupuncture and he was very knowledgeable on both medicines. So we went the chiropractic route and within 2 treatments, my baby moved into the correct position for birth. My 18 year old son who is developmentally delayed has been seeing Dr. Kent since he was a small boy. He had very limited upper mobility and had difficulty sitting up straight and turning his head left to right in a full range of motion. Dr Kent worked with my son and we saw the most amazing results. Not only did Aidan's posture improve dramatically but we also noticed and increase in Aidan's endurance and improvements in his cognitive abilities both at school and at home. Also Aidan was able to improve on his swimming strokes and pass several levels of swimming over the years! As Aidan grows Dr. Kent has been able to treat Aidan with varying techniques all with great results. He treats Aidan with the utmost respect and his friendly manner keeps my son at such ease. A number of years ago, when I was living in Nova Scotia, I hurt my back playing hockey. At that time I went to see a chiropractor which helped. I would then only visit the chiropractor when my back gave me problems, like when I wasn't able to get out of bed. I've been seeing Dr. Kent for almost 4 yrs now. I work in a factory and my head is always bent downwards and my lower back, shoulders and neck were getting quite sore and stiff. Since I've been getting my adjustments every 2 wks I have been feeling a lot better. I have been with Dr. Newton for approximately 14 years or more. he and his staff are among the friendliest, most accommodating I have ever met. They are always willing to fit me in if I need to change my appointment or if I need an extra. I visited the clinic about once every three weeks until I had a very bad car accident in 2002. I was at my wits end, loosing my job and being in so much pain. I have three herniated disks in my neck, two in the mid back and three in the low back. Dr. Newton is always there for m(past and present). He helped me through the recovery process (2 years) and made a payment plan that I could afford. he takes every precaution when doing a treatment and I feel a difference immediately. To this day I still see him every 2 weeks. Without my regular adjustments and all the tools he has shown me over the years, I would not be as mobile as I am. I thank whatever or whoever you choose to believe in that blessed my life with such an amazing, kind, patient, understanding professional that deeply loves what he does. Everyone should have a regular adjustment as the spine is the basis that keeps the whole body in motion. People don't realize or seem to understand how important it is, especially now that we all spend so much time hunched over a computer. I urge you to go see a chiropractor!! In the midst of my mission of health, I was recommended to Dr. Newton. I could feel my posture slumping and due to past trauma I had other adjustments that also needed attending. Since being in Dr. Newton's care I can feel everything coming together. My posture is getting stronger/better with time and healing of my body. I say healing, because that's what the body needs to do and can take awhile depending on the trauma it's been subjected to and how long ago it happened as well. I have been visiting Dr. Kent Newton since June 2015 for the treatment of chronic migraines and headaches. My was ruled by the fear of going out and triggering a migraine or bad headache. I was getting 10 to 15 migraines a month and had bad headaches the other days. I had troubles concentrating and would not remember conversations of things I did as my migraines we're so bad. I have seen a neurologists and may other doctors for a diagnosis, scan and ex rays. All images show everything is normal and all recommended to try this drug or that drug or even Botox . Dr. Kent Newton was the only doctor to say that he could me and without drugs. I got very emotional with this news. It is now 6 months later and I have my life back!! No more fear of leaving the house. I do not give a second thought about whether I have migraines with me. Migraines are now down to two this month! and daily headaches are not a concern and at a minimum. I am dreaming again and sleeping better. My shoulders and neck do not feel as if they are one and the same. I have so much more to say, but will save that for a couple of months down the road with an update. Pregnant Emergency!!: I have always been a big advocate of chiropractors, especially now as a birth doula I can't recommend them enough to my clients. I am now having my first child and am 30 weeks pregnant. My regular chiropractor was away when I woke up with excruciating back and hip pain from my pregnancy, now I had been feeling this for a while and my visits with my regular chiropractor only seemed to fix the issue for a day or so. I called Alliston Chiropractic that morning around 9 am and they got me in a few hours later. Dr.Kent recognized the issue right away and after a quick adjustment my back pain was GONE! This constant pain that had been bothering me all pregnancy was finally gone. I saw him again for a follow up and made the decision to switch to him full time, and I am now seeing him on a weekly basis during my pregnancy! The pricing is more than fair and everyone is so nice. When I moved to Alliston I had to find a new Chiropractor closer to me. I had tried one but did not like the way he treated me. I was worse than when I went in. I had given up for a while, but then my back started acting up again so I tried Dr. Kent. The best decision I made. I have been going to him for a year now and my back is doing great. I have suffered with really bad sciatica to the point i was walking with a cane at 37 years old. I had an MRI which resulted in the diagnosis of Spinal Stenosis. I had been seeing a massage therapist, who suggested I get my hips adjusted. I was a little hesitant, as I had been to a chiropractor in the passed and did not feel much relief from it. I have seen Dr. Kent now about 6 times, and I am happy to report that I feel 100% and even better then I did prior to the back pains. Mix of adjustments, the exercises he has given me to do, and massage - it has mad a world of difference for me.
