I don't review usually but for this center I think that I have to,maybe save some people time and money.I just can say that I wasted my time and money to go here.I am RN with back pain for many years and know the difference between back pain and hip pain. I had pain in my hip and was telling him that my pain is not related to my back and he tried to convince me that is my back.after 2 seccion treatment my pain not even didn't get better,and with his adjustment my back got to the pain too ,which I got hard time to walk even .then decided to go to someone else who was able to fix my pain just with one session treatment, completely pain free.rethink 2 times if you go here. because I have no option to answer your reply.so I do it here. 1.I didn't receive any instruction from you except to apply Ice and use pain killer,which I did but no result. 2.I choose not to discuss with you because during the treatment i was telling that my pain is not related to my back and when I walk my pain is going away and your answer was this is strange. 3.if as of you mentioned during first 2 treatment that will take time that my pain go away ,why my pain gone away after just one session with other person.my point is not that you are good or bad.I think sometimes the caregiver or health practitioner needs to listen to patients, who experienced the pain specially I who have the back pain for many years and know the difference between back pain or other area.

Dr. John is fantastic. I started seeing him a couple years ago when i messed up my back and within a few weeks i was feeling so much better already! Every new thing i've managed to do to myself in my physically demanding job, he's been able to help me out with. Dr. John and all of the staff there are so friendly and helpful. I’ve continued care over the years and I’ve seen a significant reduction in neck pain and overall improved body movement. My mom flew to visit us from the U.S. and her neck began hurting soon after getting to our home. She woke up the second night here in really severe pain. I prayed as I figured out what to do & searched for a chiropractor nearby. My husband was out of town, so I loaded my boys & my parents and we all went to Ultimate Family Chiropractic. Absolute answered prayer because they made appointment despite being really busy. The front desk welcomed us like friends AND they had a great play room for my boys AND Dr. John Rae was kind & gentle with my mom... and offered to give her adjustments over the weekend at his home if she needed them! She felt so much better that night... she said he worked a miracle! She has followed up with my dad's chiropractor back in U.S. and she's doing great. They were amazed that they weren't billed until the second visit and the bill was much less than they anticipated!

Starting seeing Dr. John Rae in Jan. this year (approx 4months now. Closed 2.5 months due to COVID-19). I was skeptical at first as the adjustment were only 5 minutes or so per treatment. However I am seeing a significant improvement with my back pain and sitting posture. I used to get monthly massages to help with the knots developed on my mid-back by sitting for long hours at work. I don't need frequent massages anymore! I definitely recommend seeing him for adjustments. He is very knowledgeable with experience and answers all your questions/concerns.

Suffering from pain in my lower back because of bulging discs also have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in my wrist. Couldn’t stand upright first thing in the morning. Bothering me at my work. I was recommended to Dr. John Rae from my boss a veterinarian. She said he helped her Getting sick of all the pain meds my doctor was putting me on I decided to take a chance on Dr. John Rae. Definitely one of the better decisions I’ve made during my life I’ve been seeing John gosh it must be about four years now maybe five. Within a couple of months I was off pain meds and pain-free Very close to my 64th birthday I am still enjoying my job, I love working with the animals. I am drug-free and pain-free moving freely sleeping well. I did follow through on my doctors recommendation to see a surgeon for my back I had already started to see Dr John when I went to see that surgeon in Toronto he was quite impressed told me that I didn’t need him at the time and call him if I did. I never did make that call Oh and no numbness in my hands or wrists anymore I tend to not let the fact then I’m short and older stop me from doing anything that I truly want to do so of course I’ve damage myself over the course of seeing John and he’s fixed every injury I’ve had The staff at ultimate family chiropractor are amazing, Welcoming friendly and very helpful I continue to see Dr John because of what I see and hear. People my age and younger complaining about pain in they’re body, sometimes from sports injuries sometimes from accidents and of course just ageing All the sports and stuff that I did as a child and young adult kind of takes a toll on the body. I’ve been seeing Dr. John now for about 15 years. I’ve always had problems with my back. Having been to several other chiropractors and not having success, I was in doubt he’d be able to help me. Because he has extra training in the Gonstead method his approach is different. He works on very specific parts of my spine only. I’ve had 98% relief. I continue to go to maintain that good feeling. I once had a pinched nerve that ran down my arm and he relieved that. I am so impressed with Dr. John and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Speaking as someone who has used a different chiropractor in the past, and was skeptical of the the treatment altogether, I can say that I had been pleasantly surprised by this place. This place is clean, has friendly staff, and does not try to upsell you with outrageous claims of the benefits of chiropractic treatment. I initially went to this place after purchasing a groupon when I finally decided to get my sciatic pain checked out. I’d had back pain over the years working as a physical labourer, but this was different. I had numbness down my leg into my toes, and my flexibility suffered greatly in the process. After my 6 sessions I determined that my current budget could not allow me to afford further care. I discontinued my treatment. 2 months later I woke up with the worse back pain I had ever experienced, it took me 20 minutes to get out of bed, 10 more to put on a pair of socks and shoes, I went into work anyways but was unable to sit or stand or move without careful movements and severe pain. I spent the next 2 days confined to my bed, on the 3rd day I went back to see this chiropractor and began my treatment. Within the first adjustment things improved to the point I could walk and move far more smoothly and with much less pain. I have continued going for the past few months and I am happy to say my back pain is essentially gone. I have this man to thank. I highly recommend this place if your back (or hips) are hurting.

Do not book a massage appointment with this office. Their booking system was the worst I’ve ever seen. I had an injury the day before my appointment and when I wanted to reschedule, they were happy to reschedule me on top of being charged for the missed appointment. Clearly they are interested in a quick dollar opposed to repeat clients. In addition to that, the reason they weren’t willing to waive the cancellation was because that RMT has been cancelled a few times during the week by others already… I guess it’s my fault for that. Regardless, rude reception staff and unprofessional. *Updated* No use writing a review and less it’s 5 star. The owner reply even lied about what happened.. as I said previously, unprofessional.
