I often walk out of a clinic feeling that I know more than the therapist, but Dr Thom knows his stuff. I injured my back gradually over time due to improper squats and Dr Thom was able to identify some movement anomalies and work on mobility exercises to take back home. If you decide to see him, don't be surprised by the many questions he asks you as he tries to understand your issue. It can seem like rapid fire, but it's the way his mind works and processes all the inputs. One thing I liked is that he’s more than just a chiropractor and works through a movement therapy regimen. Another thing I'd like to add is that he's very mindful and walks you through the procedures he's about to perform so you understand. In doing so, he creates a comfortable environment. My only criticism is of the admin procedures. I prefer e-receipts and e-appointment reminders but they don't have a system in place for that yet. I booked an online appointment and I don't recall ever receiving any email on showing up a certain time before my appointment.

Dr. Thom is the absolute best! When I first saw him I had been suffering for so long that I just figured it would never get better. A family member recommended him and I was reluctant as I had tried many things and chiropractic was not something I was a fan of. Dr. Thom changed my life, am pain free most of the time and if I have something flare up he is the first person I turn to.
