Pierre DesLauriers practice is the best I have found after searching tirelessly for a Chiropractic Dr. who can adjust me for my size. As a pro athlete I take my specialists very seriously who I have work on me to perfect my sport and maintain my body to keep me in the game in season as well off season. His staff are friendly and I always feel welcome every visit. If you have issues that need to be fixed Pierre and his wife are who you want to see. I was even given a scan of my spine and advised on stretching to help maintain between visits to keep myself healthy, a whole folder in fact detailing what was wrong with my spine. I was suffering from a shoulder injury for years and I tried everything from massage to physio to acupuncture...etc. I even contemplated surgery. I went to the DesLauriers Chiropractic for an assessment and I was so relieved when I was told that my injury could be healed in several chiropractic sessions. Sure enough, after few sessions, my shoulder has completely healed and I am back working out again. My headaches are gone too. Absolutely horrible customer service skills! Rude, inappropriate and abusive! They were always running extremely behind and make rude remarks if you cannot accommodate and wait for your appointment! Chiropractor’s should be about “patient care” and have above average customer service skills as they deal with the public daily!!!! The front desk person Shanna has the most miserable nasty attitude I’ve experienced in a long time! She should not be working with people or public at all! Please do not put yourself in the negative environment of this clinic!

After trying other procedures including acupuncture and nerve cauterization with limited results on disc deterioration in my neck I have been using spinal decompression with Dr. Pierre. Pierre has explained the MRI taken earlier and how the spinal decompression procedure will help. It has greatly reduced the pain levels and increased the mobility in the neck. I,m happy with the results so far and have recommended Dr. Pierre and this procedure to some friends who have similar collapsed discs issues

I completed a 8 month co-op work term at DesLauriers Chiropractic Group and it was a very educational and pleasurable experience. Being trained as a clinical assistant, the first thing taught is to always go above and beyond to help the practice members. The ladies at the front desk will always have a smile on their face and do whatever they can to assist you. Dr. Kim and Dr. Pierre are very intellectual and wonderful teachers. They consistently explain your concerns/injury in a way that you will understand, and go over all the possible treatments and techniques that can be used. I was also trained as a Bioflex Laser Therapist. After treating so many kind practice members and seeing the effect the Bioflex Laser had on their pain levels and recovery, it made me realize I definitely want a future career in health care. The laser therapist is thoroughly trained in all aspects of Bioflex Laser Therapy, and the doctor will be there every step of the way to make sure your recovery is going well.

My neighbor recommended DesLauriers when I was at my wits end with upper back pain and numbness in my hand. I had concerns with chiropractic care...I tried literally everything: physio, needling, RMT, personal training, you name it. These did not help to any significant degree, over a course of 7 months. I finally listened and booked an appointment with Dr. Kim. After the initial appointment and follow up (after the xrays and scans), she fully diagnosed what was wrong and created a plan to bring me back to health. I nearly cried (seriously...I had to choke back tears when she outlined my issues...which isn’t like me at all) from sheer relief that she knew what was wrong. I was in so much pain. It’s been about 4-5 weeks of visits and I am almost fully recovered. It was marked after the first week...so there is no way this was my body healing on its own. Thank god I went. I feel so great! She’s amazing...her knowledge of our bodies and over all health is next level! Thank you so much, Dr. Kim! You are the best!

They have an amazing, caring and compassionate approach. They will listen to your issues and resolve your pain! Even if you are feeling a bit off, a bit sore... a bit old with aches and body pains, don’t settle for the fact that this is your new normal as it likely isn’t and it’s pretty much a guarantee that Dr. Pierre and Dr. Kim will make you feel better. They are able to provide much needed knowledgeable & guidance to help you maintain and get the most out of your chiropractic adjustment. They have also helped to successfully treat my teenage daughter regarding headaches and rib issues. If you’re experiencing any type of musculoskeletal pain, I would highly recommend booking a consultation and developing a treatment plan specific to your needs.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Pierre Deslauriers on Friday, Sept 24th. Really nice, clean, open air space in a cool, trendy part of Whiterock. The ladies at the front reception were very nice! She got me in to an exam room immediately, took my weight, blood pressure etc…I’ve seen many chiropractors in my life but this was the first time I was ever weighed on two separate scales placed beside each other, he does this so he can see how much weight and pressure you might be putting on one side vs the other. This was great for myself as I had a pretty significant injury (dislocated hip) when I was much younger. He and I spoke for a bit, he’s very easy to speak with, engaging and asked all the right questions to assess my needs. I had been experiencing a lot of discomfort in my neck which ultimately rippled down in to my right shoulder, he tried this technique that I had never experienced before, when he adjusted my neck…I swear the POP could’ve been heard across the street!!! It was kind of like an instant euphoria was released from my body!!! I was pretty impressed!!! I’ve already booked a follow up appointment. If you’re looking for a chiropractor for the first time or even thinking of making a switch as I did, I would strongly recommend Deslauriers Chiropractic Group because they’re really awesome!!! Wayne Hi folks, just wanted to quickly add that I've had two follow up sessions with Deslauriers Chiropractic since posting my initial review. They were both awesome! In 3-4 weeks my physical quality of life has improved tremendously! Dr. Deslauriers and I have implemented an action plan, he gave me some good stretching exercises to do at home (10-15 minutes a day) and some tips on how to maintain good posturing habits to help maintain the integrity of my back and neck. I'm so grateful for having found this place and I sincerely look forward to seeing him till the dude retires, hopefully it's no time soon, lol.

Met with Dr Pierre to work on my shoulder after an injury. He recommended trying cold laser therapy after he determined it was a rotator cuff and posterior capsule injury due to instability in the shoulder. After a few treatments of laser therapy pain was starting to disappear. This was going from barely being able to move my arm to almost pain free in a matter of weeks. The prescription of exercises was also particularly helpful in recovery and i now incorporate them into my own workouts. I am now back to doing everything I was doing and seeing Dr Pierre for chiropractic reasons.
