Fantastic little local place, first time visiting. Came at noon on a Wednesday in November, within 20 minutes almost all of the tables were filled. Very good covid-19 precautions in place, contact tracing sign in sheet, cables and booths well spaced from each other, mask wearing mandatory, hand sanitization procedures in place etc. Good, simple menu. Fair prices, friendly service

What a delicious little cafe! The buffet on Wednesday is stocked with all things delicious. Baked ham, roast beef, scalloped potatoes, beans, salad bar, and all sorts of deserts. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the waitress was not very friendly. However, we had a great time with our company & the other guests seem pleasant too!

Wow! This is classic diner food at its best. We did takeout and I was please with how quickly they got it together. Meal one was a clubhouse sandwich (lots of mayo on it) and fries (that style with the crispy coating) Meal two was pancakes (classic big fluffy griddle style) and sausage (one big farmers sausage. We will for sure be back to try more things. It was great!

Small town staple. Standard breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Nothing too fancy, just good wholesome food at fair price. Also has a buffet, ice cream cones, pies, fresh loaves of bread, and assorted home made jams, butters and preserves.

friendly staff....but the most horrible food Ive ever eaten!! I ordered a poutine it was scary!! I cant believe people serve this food. It was clearly frozen bagged french fries baked with no taste marble cheese shredded and really strange gray coloured liquid that was gravy?? Gross I heard the place had really plain food and it was pretty gross but I really didnt think anyone could mess up fries chesse and gravy. I wish I would have taken a picture. Dont eat here go to Stratford

They don't keep the meat in gravy for the buffet, they use water- it dilutes the flavour of the roast beef. Anything pickled is mixed with sugar. The pies and desserts are always awesome, though. Good coffee!

WORTH THE DRIVE FROM WHERE YOU ARE!!! This was more than a happy accident to find this 5* establishment! My party of 4 can not stop raving about it and we haven't even left the place yet! We all had the cheese cake (FYI Call ahead it is TO DIE FOR!) And we all chose the 2 meat options plates. Pigs tails cabbage rolls and rolled ribs were all a HIT!!! THERE IS NO COMPLAINT TO BE DONE HERE! 1. Service = Amazing 2. Food = Mouthwateringly Great 3. Atmosphere = Feels like your chez family! 4. Parking = right in front (HELLO You can't get that in Toronto!) 5. Portions = eat dessert first You WILL be FULL 6. Rewards card = OMG Yes and we are already planning our next visit! 7. Location = EASY TO FIND!!! Big sing up front! 8. Best home cooked meal for a reasonable price! $$ If I could give more stars TRUST ME I WOULD!!! Picked up two Christmas dinners the other day. Ate part on Christmas Eve.....absolutely delicious! We ordered the regular portions and even then it was enough for two meals. Very generous and cooked to perfection. Desserts are to die for. Takeout containers are all biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

Ordered French toast and peamael, which should be relatively easy but that was a huge disappointment the French toast was completely undercooked and the peameal was flavorless. Girlfriend bought the classic breakfast and was also really disappointed with it as well. Overall I wouldn't return to this establishment.

Went to Quehl's 2 days in a row for 2 group luncheons. 18ppl and 16ppl. We had Karen both days as our waitress and she was fantastic!! The food is delicious and the price for their buffet was very reasonable. I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant and being that I was there 2 days in a row I never expected that I would do the buffet on the 2nd day. First day was mouth watering roasted lamb and melt in your mouth roast beef. The 2nd day was tender roasted Turkey and the best meatloaf that I have ever had in a restaurant. (My Mom makes the best but their meatloaf was amazing) Because my encounter here was work related I plan to take my family here very soon and just hope to have Karen as our waitress. Good job Quehl's. I am a foody and will be recommending your restaurant to all of my friends and family. Not that you need the recommendations!!! Pretty humming place for a small town ❤

A cozy family run restaurant , with additional rooms to accommodate small - large group gatherings The food is always tasty & fresh with a buffet which is locally inspired and of good value . The homeade pie (esp the Apple) is to die for! We always find the service friendly and efficient . We’ve had other breakfasts at all the other surrounding small towns , and this is by far the best breakfast around ! It surpasses the rest, and their coffee is actually really delish .

Usually come for breakfast , that has always been good. Had lunch and all 3 of us were terribly disappointed. All 3 plates were over cooked and dry. Will not be going back. Took over half hour to cook a burger and sausage. No wunder the damn things were over cooked and dry !!!!!!!!!

This is a busy place. I was from out of town but the locals really frequent this restaurant. Based on the hot turkey sandwich plate that I had, I can see why. Juicy tender turkey, mashed potatoes (or fries), cooked carrots (or cole slaw), and hot gravy. Warm country feel to the atmosphere. Warm and friendly.

Had heard great things but 5 of us went on Saturday night and had a very poor experience.when we went in took a long 3to find someone to ask where to sit. Waitress only came by one time. Had to get up and find milk and creamer for coffee and tea once we finally got it. Waitress never came back to being bill and wasn't sure what we were to do to pay. Finally started walking around to find somewhere to pay. Food was not geet. Would not got back to service

BEST PLACE EVER! AMAZING SERVICE! Everything is homemade here prepared in their kitchen from the menu it was beyond words delisous. They also sell homemade jams relishes and desserts to take home. I bought an apple pie yes a whole one lol and it was gone in 2 days I didn't are it lol the jams are so delicious I won't be buying any jam or relish from a grocery store again nor pies lol the prices are very good and affordable the service amazing very well manered servers I can't wait to go back and they serve ALL DAY BREAKFAST !! !!
