When I returned to Canada, 1975, something bothered me in that many people would say I am French Canadian, German or what ever.I firmly believed and still do , if you live here and work here you are Canadian.That doesn't mean you forsake your heritage. This why places such as the Serbian Heritage Museum are so important.This a perfect example of being a proud Canadian and at the same time honoring your heritage. Places like this, run on a shoe string with volunteers are amazing. Head down there inhale the rich past of our Serbian Heritage and be proud so many chose Canada as place to be.

Amazing venue!! We just had our wedding reception on their outdoor patio and it was absolutely beautiful. Dan was amazing to work with and offered us a lot of help along the way. The staff was very friendly and assisted our guests with whatever they needed. We were complimented on the food all night! Would definitely have our next event there!

First time going to the carasel of nations. Everything good but paid 2 bucks for a very small (fountain) pop that should have been free refills for DD drivers. Not impress they did not focus on that.

Had our wedding at the Serbian Centre in September and everything was perfect. The food was great and service was excellent. We had out wedding outdoors in the Kosovo Picnic area, instead of the main hall, due to provincial restrictions and everything was beautiful. They also had heaters available that worked very well for when it became cooler at night. Planning an event during a pandemic is very stressful but Daniel made it very easy. We had to change our date and then change hall rental multiple times because of the pandemic restrictions and Daniel was very helpful and had quick replies to any of my questions or concerns. Definitely recommend having an event there.

Basic venue for a wedding, bridal shower or any need for large gatherings. Nothing fancy you'll have to bring your own decoration & lighting. Food (served family style) was decent baked chicken, green beans, potatoes and roast beef (wasn't very tender & a grey color) all of it was good (except the roast beef). Service was a bit slow but efficient enough. I'd suggest this place for a baby shower luncheon jus don't oder the roast beef! LoL

We had our Christmas party here. It's a bit difficult to find in the dark but there is a lot of parking when you do. The building is nice and was clean our food service was well organized and the food was good. The bar seemed to stay busy and engaged. I didn't care for the coffee though.

I've come here at least 10 times for Friday buffet lunch, and have been happy with my food 100% of the time. Pretty standard, you have pasta, chicken, potato wedges, green beans, salad, and buns. Rotated in are random delicious items (fish, cabbage rolls, ribs, etc), which makes it a bit different every time. Sometimes there's even desserts! Did I mention it's inexpensive, and fantastic if you're constrained for time: pop in, spend 30 seconds paying for your meal, and you're eating a minute later.

I had an appointment with Dan from this place and when I showed up he wasn’t there instead I found employees that knew nothing about the meeting and then when I called Dan he didn’t answer or call me to tell me he wasn’t going to show up pretty darn professional thanks for wasting my time I’ll take my business elsewhere

The party hall was pretty big and bartender was decent. The biggest let down was food. The country style dinner which they offered was not up to the mark.. The chicken was very bland, roasted potato doesn't have any flavour and tossed veggies was another let down.. They have to improve on the food part and otherwise it is a decent place

Over all very impressed with the way my wedding turned out. A few things they did not have a room for the bride/bridal party to put their things. They did try to accommodate and give us an office to lock things in but shortly after wanted to make sure the things would be taken out. The roast beef that was order was dry. But the chicken and potatoes were amazing. The service staff the night of was great, bar tenders were perfect!!! the hall looked amazing. Great price for what we got!!

Paul and I were very grateful to have an indoor reception for our pandemic wedding at this facility. Kim was very patient with the many floor plan changes that we had to make. She was very accommodating and friendly. Daniel was also accommodating and very helpful during the duration of our reception. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent! I attended an event there and the staff was awful!! They LITERALLY had water in the vodka bottle. We didn't know until someone ordered a shot of vodka and discovered plain water!! They didn't reimburse the people who paid for vodka mixed drinks. Then they were rude about it

Great place to hold small events with about 250-300 people of capacity. Went there for a Punjabi cultural event and totally loved the event and how this place was organized. It has lots of parking. The only thing is that Google maps address takes you to the Walmart next to this place rather than this location so that has to be fixed.

The Serbian Centre was the PERFECT location for our event! The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. The food exceeded our expectations and the costs were better than other venues in the city. Also, the bathrooms were beautifully updated. So happy we choose this venue! Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a well-executed party!
