Just a random pick for us. The service was very good, genuine, and just attentive enough. The food was fantastic. Chicken vindaloo with garlic naan (my favorite naan so far) the spice level was perfect per my request of hot. The coconut chicken also amazing full of flavor and the mild spice level needed.

Just had the Buffet.. so fresh and tastes amazing, good selection of meat and Vegg. Great deal on today too! One buffet plate for 14$ or two for 21$!!! You definitely cant go wrong having your meal here. On the main drag with good parking too!

I tried the buffet from 12pm-3pm... 4 meat and 4 Veggie options plus samosas and some side salads. Buffet includes butter or garlic naan. Was very tasty and flavourful! Staff are friendly too! $14 for 1 person or $22 for two persons, makes it a great deal! Would highly recommend Tandoori Flare ! :)

This place have been always first to choose for my friends and colleagues. My friends from North Van come here to eat especially for their stuffed naan. Things our group always order everytime: Fish Chilli, Stuffed Naan, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka, Karahi Chicken.. One of their special dishes is not on the menu but you can tell them to make it on special request: Afghani Tikka. My 1st choice for Indian food and best ever indian food I had in Canada. Love this place. Hope dining reopens and we can have some fun time again.

Excellent food. Good prices. Service has slowed down for take out. Now it takes ~30min to have things ready to pick. I still keep coming back even though the people there are not very friendly. In more than one occasion, I was helped by a lady with an attitude (not the same one each time so their staff has some sort of customer service issue). There is a guy who takes phone orders sometimes who is a dear though.

We had Malai chicken tikka and Rognah Josh(beef) + rise + parata. Can deffetenely recommend trying both dishes. Lassi and Indian tea was very good too. Food reminded me the times when I traveled around India. Feel lucky to eat exactly same here in Canada. And also their rise portions are huge so you can take 1 for 2 people.

I’ve been for the lunch buffet twice now within the past 8 days. So good! I often find restaurant foods too salty, but that’s not the case here. It was so flavourful I’d take one bite and savour it. Then a bite of a different food and savour that. The food made me happy. The only downside is that I’m visiting the area, which means I’m going to miss this food when I return home where a pool of fatty gravy on fries is considered food. I’ll see you folks again in a year.

I ordered take out here last night, completely forgetting it was Diwali. It was swamped , totally understandable. The poor girl working the front, was doing her best and people were being downright rude. It was a bit of a wait, which was expected. Why can't people be patient? Once home our food was awesome! Everything was perfect, hot and tasted great! If you tried to head in or call in yesterday but were put off by all the rude people, try again on a week day. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

I normally don’t put reviews, But this place deserves one. Yesterday I ordered one shahi paneer and rice from doordash however when my order came I received 2 rice instead of shahi paneer i called the restaurant the girl on the phone was so sweet that she send someone from there restaurant just to deliver my food and the food itself is TASTIEST and reasonable and There was literally paneer in shahi paneer????????, i am saying this because most places dont put much pieces of paneer. Highly recommended

I am really picky about my Butter Chicken... and this place has the best I've ever had! Their incredibly reasonably priced lunch buffet ($14 for one $7 for your friends) has also allowed me to try many different food - all of it fantastic! The verdict: Best Indian Food, amazing service and really great prices. I am such a fangirl.

Placed a pickup order for 2 dishes and 5 naans. The staff, a lady, handed me one stapled bag and I assumed everything was in it and left. Then she called and told me I forgot the naans. It was her who forgot to put everything together. I had to go back to pick up the naans the second time; she even did not know she should apologize. And some of the naans come with burned charcoal. As it turned out I ate a cold meal. Very bad experience. Do not recommend!

We had an overall poor experience getting takeout from this restaurant, but the food was very tasty at a good price. On the poor experience: We placed an order through their website at 5:30pm on a Saturday. The order was for Aloo Gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Channa Samosas; it didn't seem like a large order, but the website gave an estimate of 70 minutes for pickup after payment had already been made online. One suggestion I'd like to give is to provide the time estimate before accepting payment, as we would not have placed the order had we known it was going to take over an hour for our food. We thought that must have been some sort of mistake, so we called in to inquire, where we were told they were busy, but the order should actually be ready in 35 to 40 minutes, which seemed more reasonable given what was ordered. When we arrived at the restaurant 40 minutes after placing the order, we found out it was in fact not ready yet. At one point, there were eight other customers waiting there to pickup as well. One woman's order was mistaken twice. They gave the impression that they had not yet started to prepare our order when we arrived. Finally, at 6:50pm, we got our food, much longer than the 40-minute wait we were told on the phone, and longer than even the 70 minutes given initially. No compensation or apology was given by staff. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt that it was an unusually busy night, or they were short-staffed, but I'd very much hesitate to try Tandoori Flare again seeing how they handled the situation.

Absolutely fabulous, not to spicy but with wonderful flavours. Best nanak paneer i’ve ever had. All the lentils, peas and other dishes were each seasoned differently, like having a dance in your mouth. This was the lunch buffet, it has so many choices. And the mango lassie was perfect, not too sweet. Finally a great Indian restaurant close at hand.

This is in the old sushi place along Johnston street... they've really spruced up the interior since then... very clean and tidy! 14$ lunch buffet includes fresh Nann bread... takeout menu has lots of options, and prices are very reasonable. Will for sure be back :)

Palak paneer didn't have any taste at all, very bland and disappointing. chana didn't have salt as well. Papdi chaat only had sweet and salty taste without any of the spiciness or tanginess of authentic chaat. The prices are the only acceptable thing about this place.

The Tandoori Flare has become our favourite go-to Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Take-out orders have never taken more than 25 minutes from phone call to pick-up. The staff are exceptionally friendly, remember your name and preferences, and are happy to make suggestions if you're in the mood for something different.
