Hands down the best Barbari bread I had in years. They have fresh traditional Persian style bread, and quality delicacies like Barberries and mixed herbs for Persian stews in their fridge.

It’s our first time having Persian bread and this was amazing. We just finished a hike and needed a snack to refuel and got both their breads with the basil walnut hummus. The bread was still warm from out of the oven, the crust was crisp without being too crunchy and inside was nice and chewy. the hummus were restaurant quality without being overly salty. Highly recommended!

The best Barbari I’ve ever had in Vancouver. I had Barbari with creamy cheese and tomato yesterday. Loved it. Bolki sandwich bread is light and perfect for any kind of Sandwich. I highly recommend this bakery.

Great fresh bread, excellent staff - a must try and must return! Exceptional flatbreads and very nice crusty sub-style buns. I've been to the bakery a few times (it's a long way from home, but it makes the longer trip worthwhile!) and I've always been impressed. I have tried all of their main breads and have found the newest one (a little larger, a lot more sesame) to be my current favourite. They have a small but interesting selection of sides to go with the bread. Hummus, Persian potato salad, tzatziki and more. A quick visit can discover a super lunch, with a lot of leftovers. I would recommend trying to get there closer to opening time, simply because the experience of getting the freshest bread is sensational. Now, there are a lot of people who are already doing that, so there might be a line up - if you're not a patient person just arrive at your own time. (I've never had a long wait, but I know it can be a little busy at times)

Exceptional flatbreads and very nice crusty sub-style buns; whole wheat and freshly baked every day. I use scissors to cut up the bread and keep it in the freezer, then pop it in the toaster for breakfast! High quality bread that does not go stale easily! Just ask them for tips on how you can keep the bread :) Visit the store for more great quality organic products! A locally formed family business that deserves to be supported for their high quality customer service.

Lovely staff ...extra sesame Barbari bread with their Ariana Feta cheese is divine ..creamy and delicate ..add some sliced peaches and drizzle of honey and you are in heaven for any meal !

Delicious Barbari bread. Even more awesome when you manage to get it warm and fresh! Expensive though. They reduced the size of the bread in 2022 but the price is still $3.50... It's now 425g compared to 475g before. Most Barbari is 700g for the same price, so you’re paying $5 per bread effectively. ????

Gandom bakery is a very clean place. Their bread it's not salty and lots of sesame seeds that gives a magical flavour to it is awesome, the staff are very helpful and they are as good as their breads.
