Had a horrible experience through skip the dishes. The pizza sub was terrible. There were very few toppings, it was missing both sauces we requested. When we called the young girl to let her know it was not good. She was not very friendly. We will never return to this location. Terrible experience.

I deleted my review - it basically mimics the same negative experience that many other people have had over the past YEAR. The boilerplate response asks to reach out to customer service… but what is the point when NOTHING has changed based on negative reviews over the past year. Mr Sub is owned by MTY Group and they really don’t care if they receive a bad review, as long as they get their monthly franchise fees/royalties from the owners.

While waiting in line, I witnessed both employees working at the time handling cash and making subs, WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS AND CHANGING THEIR GLOVES, sticking their contaminated gloves in the vegetables, and meats and then cashing out costomers and with the same gloves making the next customers order. I was absolutely disgusted, my wife and left and will not eat there again.

The Mr Sub location on Arthur Street has 2 stellar employees working there ~ On Wednesday, Dec 15th, 2021, my son and I went there ~ It's been quite some time since we've had a sub from Mr.Sub ~ Kiersey and Luke were working on Wednesday evening. They were both engaging and welcoming ~ and made 3 of the best subs ever ~ We couldn't wait to get back to the farm we're staying at while in Thunder Bay area and chow down on them ~my son said it's the best meatball sub he's ever had ~ the marinara sauce is bueno ???? and my tuna sub was perfect ~ the tuna was delicious & not too heavy with mayo ~ the buns were also delicious ~ toppings were fresh. Anyway, we had looked forward to stopping for subs before heading west and we were not disappointed with our choice, that's for sure☃️ Thankyou Luke and Kiersey ~ you are 2 terrific ambassadors for Mr. Sub. Horrible customer service and disgusting work habits. Went to this location after a long day of studying to get a nice meatball sub. I arrived and it was fine until he started making the sandwich. I'm not one to complain usually but when you start touching my food with your bare hands I'll be a little upset. I asked the guy to wear gloves and he immediately asked if I "wear gloves when I make food at home" and then continued to be a jerk. Not sure why I stayed after this. Ate the sub anyway after he put on gloves and I woke up at 4 in the morning with the runs.

Have been going here for about 9 months twice or more a week (lunch break) and they've only ever made 2 mistakes and both were immediately recognized by the employees and were fixed without hesitation. Must have got new owners. All the old nostalgic pictures on the walls have been stripped away. During peak lunch hours I use to get in and out of here within 8-10 mins consistently. Now you are lucky to leave within 15 mins if there is a full line. The old owners use to memorize your order for the next time you came in, none of that anymore. You have to repeat every single item you want on your sub two to three times. Its a bummer because I use to come here every Friday. I will rarely return in the future.

This place is really cheap they chip me out on my salad and just gave me a small handful of lettuce and a few handful of cucumbers and when I asked for a handful of onions they put too many on, the salad was too small and then they put it in this big huge container to make it look big but it’s not it’s ridiculous

An okay place for subs nothing new just a normal sub sandwich joint. The staff seem to be out of it most of the time. The manager seems to disappear every 2 seconds without helping his employees. They don't offer a spicy Italian sub which blows my mind. Its closer in walking distance from subway so if you care about that stuff mr sub might be a good place for you.

Extremely unprofessional. I walked here at 11:40pm. The staff had a friend in the store. They were all speaking very loudly in another language. While i was ordering the friend was very clearly talking about /asking about me and the staff smirked on spoke in another language. I sat at the opposite end of the store. The friend then came and sat on a table directly behind me. They proceeded to yell / speak loudly to one another, right behind me while i was / am trying to eat. It is as if they do not care a customer is currently in the store. Extremely unprofessional.

Mr Sub food is always good. I only gave 2 stars because of the service I got from a staff member. I came in with a coupon deal. After I paid, I thought the total was high. I read my receipt and I was being charged $.60 more than the coupon said. Only $.60, but it's the principal ( and times 100,000 times bonus for Mr Sub). I pointed it out, very politely, expecting a simple refund. I was told " that's the way our till charges it. You'll have to contact head office". Thats not good customer service. I won't go back to this location.

Have not had Mr. Sub for a long time. Decided to go with the Thursday special Meatball sub, absolutely terrible. I know going to a place like this to not expect an amazing sandwich, however it should be somewhat enjoyable. Meatballs are dry and tasted freezer burnt, bun hardly held up. I wish I drove back to get my money back, will never go to the Welland location again, may have ruined it for other locations.

Worst experience ever.. . Their meatball sub isn't what it looks like, basically just a few warm meat balls and some cold sauce out of a bottle, pretty disgusting... And i thought you're supposed to switch gloves after you touch the dirty grimy cash register... Lol she made 3 subs without changing gloves... Also wth is up with servings customers from skip the dishes before loyal customers who come into their store... Very poor business model... If I'm coming into your store purchasing food from you... I should get priority specially when skip the dishes comes in after me, when I have been waiting for 10 minutes... Very poor... I'll go to subway next time...

Worst Mr. Sub ever. The girl working has no social skills or customer service skills what so ever. The “wrap” she made me literally has a sprinkle of lettuce, a sprinkle of onions and then an entire bottle of sauce, she then proceeds to fold the wrap in half like a sandwich instead of properly rolling it like a wrap. Chicken ceasar should include bacon and shouldn’t be an extra $4 to have it added in. This place is pathetic and I’m surprised it’s still open. I will never order from here ever again. Not like she’s say anything, she’ll just awkwardly stare at you without saying a single word. Creepy.

What a fantastic experience. The store super clean and the local staff really did well and friendly. Worst meatball sub I have ever eaten. Im not actually sure what I ate. The meat was so processed it didn't even resemble meat and the cheese was horrible! The bread was tasteless and sauce was also really bad. Go to subway if you want a meatball sub.

I went in for a salad and ordered a Caesar with chicken. I got a handful of lettuce, a few strips of gross looking chicken and a sprinkle of cheese with some dressing. When I went to pay, they charged me for the cheese! Are you kidding me? It's a Caesar salad! You didn't offer croutons or bacon bits as Caesars are supposed to have and then you had the nerve to charge me for the tiny sprinkle of cheese which was offered to me while making the salad??? Nobody told me it would cost extra -- and why should it? I paid $9 for something that cost you less than $1 in cheap ingredients. I feel completely ripped off and will never set foot in your establishment again.

This is hands down the best Mr. Sub location. I've eaten at other locations, mainly in Southern Ontario, but this one makes the best tasting subs. The bread is always soft and fresh, and the ingredients are always fresh and crisp.

I heard about this Caesar Meatball Sub on the internet - Hack the Menu. Holy Macaroni!!!!!!! THIS SUB IS THE BOMB!!!!! I drove 200 kms just to try it and I'll keep coming back. This store is amazing, I can't believe MR.SUB has their flagship in Sturgeon Falls of all places, but WOW am I glad I came. Modern, Clean, Professional Staff, EVERYTHING is FRESH, and the bread is AMAZING! This franchisee and his team should be the archetype for the whole company. WOW WOW WOW

I just found out the this Mr.Sub was selling their old breads and meats in an other shop called the Can-eatery. When i found out about this i was surprised they would do such a thing just a block away from and other Mr.Sub. the Mr.Sub inside the Esso gas station works so hard to provide quality fresh food all wiles these people at Niagara street try and take is business by selling expired old food. Please never visit this Niagara street location. if you want a GOOD Mr.Sub sandwich take the trip to Mr.Sub Ontario road were they will make you a sub that will keep you coming for more. low lifes at Niagara street and can't be trusted.

This Mr. Sub is hidden away in a "corner" ofln King street. Lots of parking and the staff is super friendly. I tried the new meatless subs and had the beef tip. The lady that served me was newer as well as it was a new menu item. She was great in making my sub and always had a smile on her face! The cashier was great too and kept the line moving. Would definitely go back and try the rest of the meatless subs! The beef tip was great!

0/5 this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Not only was she the worst server I ever experience in Mr. Sub. She would not open an new products up to serve told us she would charge extra because she ran out of product. We waited 45 mins to get served and get 3 subs made. So slow and so rude.

We decided to get subs a bit later in the evening. Google says it’s open until 10. I arrived at 8:53, and was sitting in my car in front of the restaurant, on the phone as my mom had called on the way there. The gentleman working was kind enough to actually come out to tell me they actually were closing in 2 minutes, then invited me in to get our subs. I was so impressed with this very kind man! The subs were fresh and delicious as well. Super happy with the service! Google, change the time to 9:00pm! ????

Hello First of all I have very bad experiences in mr sub 475 Norwich ave. I m regular customer since last 4 years after change the new owner there is no any old employees I talk with lady owner she is extremely rude and give diplomatic answer. I got my order after 15-20 minutes and there was not like a that much busy and I didn’t get enough meat in my regular steak sub.I will not be returning mr sub.
