A large group of us go every time Erik Traplin is performing. Tonight I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered Farmer's Sausage which came with choice of potato, sauerkraut, vegetable or coleslaw. I told the waitress I didn't want the potato and asked for a ceasar salad instead. She said ok I'll just bring you the sausage and salad. I ended up asking for sauerkraut because the sausage was so dry. My bill arrived and I was charged $16 plus for the full meal plus 2.99 for the Caesar plus 2.95 for the sauerkraut! So basically I paid over $16 for 2 sausages. The waitress refused to change the bill said that this was the way it was! I think it's time to make some changes to your menu so that someone who chooses to eat low carb can do so without being charged so over the top! The service was so slow that one of our party called the restaurant and told them that table # needed more drinks!

Food was ok, my husbands burger was really good but I wouldn't go back for the tilapia I had. However we had a horrible experience with the service. Drinks came quick but a long drawn out dining experience after that.. no checking in us (another girl brought our food) who we finally asked for drink refills when we had waited with empty drinks for 30min. She continued to check in with the tables around us every 5 to 10minutes however and maybe you guessed it by now.. we had a groupon. I will never buy a groupon for a restaurant again.. I've just gotten negative results when buying a groupon for service deals.. We ended up being at the restaurant for 1 hour and 45min and the only attention we got from the waitress was to first bring our drinks, one refill when asked and the bill..

One of the worst dining experiences that our group has ever had. We had reservations at 6 pm and just left after 8, since food and billing were so extremely slow. Waitress blamed the kitchen, but she took forever to get drinks and refills didn't happen. My fish was very greasy with packaged tartar sauce and tiny portion or coleslaw and potato.

Wow... what a great little restaurant! We ordered from here last night and it was AMAZING! I had the Shepard’s pie and it was HOT and fresh right out of the oven.. plus the flavors! Wow! I also had the coleslaw on the side.. delish!! My boyfriend had the cabbage rolls with garlic mashed on the side. VERY good but he did say he’s going to get mine next time! 10/10 and will be ordering again next week for our takeout at a weekly local restaurant.

Went for st Patrick's day celebration. You don't get your own table, you share cafeteria style. I ended up next to someone who insisted on pounding on the table in tune with the music. Took about 40 min to get our drinks and then about 30 more for the food. Food was OK, but no free refills. Overall it wasn't terrible but wasn't good either.

As an Irish descendant, I know the menus as much as the names have been handed down for generations. Kennedy's have done their ancestors proud by staying as true as possible to the cooking of the fare they offer. While the decor is dated, the staff and food more than make up for it....the prices are as reasonable as are the portions... My biggest complaint is that its further away than I would like, to be a regular patron!

Old stone style Irish pub with great homestyle cooking. The menu has basically two meal varieties; homestyle and pub food. Their homestyle food is delicious and flavorful giving lots of choices ranging from Turkey dinner, liver and onions to cabbage rolls, all reasonably priced, however; their pub food is less desirable with it being very bland and typical - burgers, deep fried chicken strips and french fries and it is pricey. Its great for families, the wait staff are always friendly, the interior is dated but if it's your first time you'll find it interesting. Kennedy's does have the best Irish celebration around on St Patrick's Day with authentic entertainment all day long and lots of fun and green beer!

This is a local favourite, so don't let my 3 stars put you off. It's local food, ie, ribs, burgers, more ribs, wings. When you've just lost a baseball game to a bunch of cheaters from Ayr, you come here to drink thin beer and eat wings. Perfect. This is not the place to honour the Temple that is your one-and-only body. This is a gathering place for friends who want to celebrate playing baseball badly and feel great about just being together. I'll come back, as the people are why we're alive.

Food is not the usual pub grub. It is excellent. Servers are really friendly and you can get a good selection of beers on tap. Mac and cheese is one to try and the sticky toffee pudding is a great way to finish. A great place to go if you have a family celebration as they also have a seperate dining area.

I liked the food at Kennedy's well enough and the service seemed good too. However, I found out recently that they are now forcing their servers to wear skirts or else they are fired.... Not only is this impractical while working but it is sexist. It is about objectifying women to increase sales. Well congratulations Kennedy's but I will no longer be giving you my money. The same goes to any other restaurant with similar policies.

Went to Kennedy,s with my parents for lunch. They had the rolled ribs, which they split and l had the burger with goat cheese and roasted peppers. They place had about 20+ for lunch with only one waitress. She did a fine job on keeping tabs on us......a long wait for the food, but all in all a good meal. I am looking forward to taking my daughter there sometime in the future.

Food was really good, with 3 of the 4 adults getting the rolled ribs and enjoying the choice. For dessert I had the best sticky toffee pudding I've had since visiting Edinburgh. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday night and there was a really large party in at the same time. Looking forward to going again.

The rolled ribs are a must when visiting Kennedys, but my favorite is still the fresh made pig tails. They cut off any excess fat so that the combination of meat and fat is absolutely perfect. The schnitzel is another favorite dish with fresh saurkraut on the side.

Disregarding the name, I know that I can get a old-time Waterloo county food, pig- tails, schitzel, etc. But if your looking for something more modern or more pub-like, my family has never been disappointed.

Recently moved to Wellesley so I thought I'd give this place a try as it's nice and close. Arranged to meet a friend there at 8pm yesterday (Thursday). Walked in right at 8pm and the waitress informed me they were closing at 830 so I couldn't stay. I inquired with her further as their website says they close at 9pm....she was very annoyed with me and started muttering away under her breath and I really didn't catch much of it. But I took the hint and won't be coming back here. I have no issues with you closing early but please adjust your online hours of operation accordingly and have your staff treat people with a little more respect.

Wasnt busy. Got a table right away. Didnt have any rolled ribs in stock, yet that is what they are known for. 2 of us had schnitzel. We couldn't figure out why the funny taste after the first bite. After a couple of bites we realized the schnitzel was bad. Didnt finish our meal. We have been very disappointed the last 3 times we have been there for either lack of service and 2 out of 3 times they havent had rolled ribs. We have been going here for rolled ribs for over 30 years. We all said our good byes in the parking lot. Wont be going back

WORST!!!! ever first the waitress was terrible. We ordered fish and chips I asked if they were fresh cut fries she told me someone cuts and brings them in daaaaa they are frozen and than the cook throws them in the deep fryer the fish had NO TASTE at all. The waitress never came to ask if our drinks needed refreshing nor if everything was okay with our dinner but she sure was right on the money to bring the bill. Its not like she was busy as she only had one other table.

From correspondence with Patty to execution with Patrick, the entire process was flawless. Oh, and the meal was delightful, with almost every menu item made from scratch in house.

Stopped in at Kennedy’s for a drink. Disappointed in the lack of a decent vodka stocked by Kennedy’s bar. Why would this establishment not support a local distillery in Stratford’s Junction 56 who make an exceptional vodka? Looks like a good bar with a friendly staff!

Had a family of 18 Christmas meal. Food for the most part was ok/good. But the service was simply deplorable. We were seated at 2 large tables. One table was seated at 5 pm and promptly offered drinks by an Asian waitress (do no know her name). Second table was seated at around 5:15 drinks, orders, and food served promptly. (Different waitress). BUT my table was still waiting to have orders taken. Note that the other table were well into eating their meals. Again wait wait and finally orders taken. Other half of our group were all done but here we wait and wait and wait. Tracked down waitress to enquire when we could expect our meals twice. Finally meals arrive except 1. Tracked waitress down and strongly expressed my dissatisfaction and demanded the last meal be served. As well had to chase her to get drinks refreshed and one was not what was ordered. And. Oh ya there is more-one of the horderves did not arrive until main course almost finished. We arrived at Kennedy’s at 5 and meals finally served around 7:20. Well Over 2 hours. Not Acceptable. Very disappointed!!!!!
