Having kids at home 24/7 now and as working parents, its hard to manage to feed your growing family. Discovered this establishment from a Durham Restaurant site. It was confusing so I called the place to ask how their meals work. The lady was very nice and explained it all to me in detail. I ordered 3 meals for my family the following week. It was delivered exactly when it should be, packaged nicely for people who do not know how to cook to warm up. My kids are picky eaters and ate all 3 meal so it must have been good. The great thing about their meals is, its healthy. The price is very affordable as their meals feed 4 people nicely. 5 if you have small kids. A family of 2 adults and 2 teens, the portions was enough. Quality of food is also good. Great to support a local business which has made my life easier through this pandemic.

They cancelled out of the blue on us. They did not advise a security deposit was required immediately in order to hold our date of Aug 7th, 2021. Suddenly in the middle of finalizing menu and choosing linens we get this email.. " Unfortunately another function has come in for that day and we will be unable take on any more functions . Sorry for the inconvenience Scott Honsberger" Not very professional I would say.. If we had of been informed that others were vying for this date, we would have secured it, but we were told nothing. Just led us along as if something was going to happen, and then this email. Totally unprofessional

This company has been absolutely amazing to us, we had a wedding booked and they were going to cater it, and the process was extremely simple, and straight forward. There was no hidden fees, or any questions about what we were getting. Not only were they amazing for the food, the customer service was impeccable. They worked with us personally and handled all my inquiries with efficiency and patience. COVID has changed everything so quickly, and they adapted and overcame. Would absolutely recommend to any one catering an event.

I can't say enough about how fantastic this catering team was! Our wedding was just perfect and a large thanks goes to the amazing food and service from Calvert Catering. From the initial meeting and food tasting, the team were friendly and accommodating and serve fantastic food! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! Can't recommend them enough!

I ordered a few "Meals to Go' entrees from their website for a small gathering to celebrate a 50th birthday party. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful! The staff was very friendly and I was happy to help support a local business. I would recommend to anybody and would definitely use again for any catering needs - big or small! Thank you.

Order the Easter Ham meal for 4.....it was AMAZING!!!!.....Ham was moist and so flavorful, garden salad was fresh, dressing was so good, mashed potatoes rocked, veggies were the best I had. Quantity was abundant, lots of ham. Wish I place a second order to eat again.....SO GOOD!

I can't speak highly enough of these people. There seems to be a genuine desire from them to make sure you're pleased. I think I'm going to be ordering their roast beef every once in a while just to have around the house, but the other dishes I ordered for were almost equally tasty.

Sadly we can't say anything positive about Calvert Catering. They are unprofessional, and would not recommend them for this reason. If you are looking for a reliable and ethical catering service, it is our advice to look elsewhere

My fiance and I planned to work with Scott an Danielle. Due to the pandemic, we had to alter course and weren't able to go ahead with our original plan. They were beyond understanding and made sure that we were comfortable and happy. Not only did they ensure everything was as easy as possible, but they were completely reasonable when we had to make changes. The tasting we had was amazing. Scott even sent us home with a couple of extra desserts. Even though we will likely not be working with them for our big day due to the pandemic, I would not hesitate to recommend Scott and his team. Such a great value, so professional and responsive. I don't have enough good things to say!

They have been offering some weekly specials during the pandemic here which are a great alternative to ordering from the regular delivery services (ubereats etc). Our family decided to try it out today for the price the meal was absolutely fantastic, portion sizes were great, for the price the food was excellent. Delivery was punctual and it was easy to order. I do highly recommend it was fantastic value compared to what we have normally been ordering in recently.

Well prepared weekly family dinner meal specials available Tuesday and Thursday. Need to be ordered ahead. Organized and easy to navigate website for ordering. Give yourself a night off cooking????????

We ordered from the reception menu for a celebration of life event for 50 people - sandwiches, fruit platter, cheese and crackers, coffee/ tea and cold beverages. We also asked for a server to be present. The server - Abby - arrived well in advance and set up everything beautifully. She also took care of all cleanup after. The food was delicious and more than enough for our gathering. I couldn't be happier with the food and the service. I will definitely be using Calvert again!
