A great place to return to and work through the entire menu! Whether it's salmon, portabella, mutton, or beef, each item is worthwhile. I think I've tried more than half the menu so far and each one is unique and excellent. Low-light casual ambience and great booze seals the deal.

Not a bad price, they give you lots of fries, but I've officially given up on PB today.. I tried them when they first opened (they are across the street), and it was a very bad burger experience, plus I had to fight just to get in the door due to how popular they were when they opened. I tried them about 6 months later, same bland/sawdust texture to the burger meat, same sad fries.. When Jackalope closed I tried them 3 more times, the first was an incredible burger, with the only complaint being a 'chewy bun' that was easily overlooked due to the great fries and a well composed burger. My last 2 visits were chewy bun, sawdust texture meat patties, wilted lettuce with a 'wax paper' quality, and almost complete absence of bacon/cheese. This last burger today is sitting here half eaten giving me grand disappointment.. I'd rather warn others to either be patient or steer clear vs. finish this chewy on the outside, sawdust on the inside, disaster burger. (moo)

Great little downtown joint. We did a takeout order and when we got home realized there had been an small error with the other. When we called the staff was very apologetic and immediately offered us a solution! Impressed with their customer service. Food was good for its value.

We live on the lower mainland and ALWAYS have to make a stop here as it’s my Husbands favourite restaurant but NOT AGAIN! We asked for our burgers to be cooked well with no pink as our last visit we had pink in the middle of the burger patties. All 3 burgers out tables got were BURNT! Like all black patties, the taste was disgusting. We let our server know and showed her the patty she said “ya, they’re a bit charred” didn’t take anything off our bill or offer us anything. On top of that when our plates were being taking from the table (as we didn’t eat the patty) she was showing them to another staff member and laughing. Very unhappy with the service and won’t be going back. I took a picture but not sure how to post it here.

Did I mention you don't have to spend a fortune to get a good meal at this place? Oh and the Mac N' Cheese Sticks are an amazing side!

I would consider this restaurant as one of those gems locals would only know about. As you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a friendly hostess and she leads you to a table in the small space. The server was really friendly and helpful when it came to the questions about the menu options. The burgers were great and are made well. I enjoyed the bison burger. The meat was cooked well and the bun paired nicely with the patty. The one thing I did not like was the Phillips sofas which were offered personally I prefer the blue and red brand of cola with any burger I eat. However this isn’t a deal breaker. I loved that after our meal we were given Fizz candy instead of the traditional mints. I am recommending this place to anyone looking for a good burger in Victoria. COVID protocols are being followed here.

We'd just gotten back from Butchart and my pregnant self was ravenous after all the walking and then the forty-five minute drive back! I wanted a burger and the rest of my party wanted beer and Poutine. I looked around Yelp, found this place with its 4/5 rating and was very satisfied. We did the short walk from Legislature in no time! Although I was slightly worried when we first peeked in that this tiny place wouldn't have enough room for our party of six. Luckily, it wasn't very crowded, it was just snug. But they made room for us immediately! And during our hour plus there, the place filled up and a line started to form! Hubby and I split the Lamb Burger with a side of Poutine. The was solid, good quality. But I have to say that I was disappointed that I couldn't really taste this apricot pesto, as the bleu cheese took over everything. So I would probably try a different burger in the future. But the Poutine was great! The gravy was flavorful, there were plenty of melted, gooey cheese curds and the fried onions were crispy! They only offered one dessert, but boy did it sound good! Deep Fried Mars Bars!! Hubby asked how big the serving was, trying to decided whether we should share or he should get his own. "It's the size...of a Mars Bar?" the waitress replied. In that I've never had one, that didn't really help me. Haha! Regardless, hubby opted to get his own. Thank goodness!!....Not that the serving was small at all!! I just wanted my own!! Melted, gooey perfection on the inside, surrounded my a very chewy exterior! I would definitely get this again!!

Waited for table for 20min(happy to do it!) Waited for 15min for water/server(a little frustrating but am happy to spend time with friends chatting) Server was fantastic to talk to, ordered drinks and burger(with no red onions...) Waited 30min for food(also fine, friends & drinks were great) Burger came with red onions(...ok... I took them off) Burger tasted so much like red onions that I couldn't eat it(two bites). Mac & cheese sticks were really tasty. Server didn't stop by to check and see if we were ok until way after everyone was done...offered a discount once she knew about the burger. They were swamped so I understand. Again, she was a beautiful brain. Probably a great burger place...this was a very uncomfortable experience for me.

Huge variety of burgers, not only beef but pork, lamb, mutton, fish. The fries are crispy and tasty, but the rosemary gravy makes them straight out of heaven! The poutine is worth the heart attack! Decent selection of craft beers, too. Nice people. It is wheelchair accessible in the restaurant but not the bathroom.

What I really liked about the Pink Bicycle is how much of a man I felt like to facilitate the dining experience. When you’re as distant from the known world as I am, sometime the wilderness plays tricks on your mind. Bear Grylls is like an art curator from a SoHo boutique compared to me. With no wife to suggest and research where to eat, and no three little dirty kids weighing me down, I was like a lion pacing the length of his empire, a wild bull exploring the boundaries of his domain. Out in the wild, it was man vs nature. Nothing to guide me but my keen intellect and sharp instinct for survival. And a recommendation from a coworker. And my phone so I could GPS my way there from the hotel. When I arrived at the oasis, crowded with the locals species, all cleared way for the new man about town. Actually they continued gently eating without seeming to regard me, but I knew what was happening inside their spirits. I felt the thrill of looking at a menu and knowing within 8 seconds that I wanted a blue cheese lamb burger and a mini pitcher of Hoyne’s Dark Matter, and with no jostling and cavorting of young children to distract me from the important things in life, I took pictures of my food and texted a few colleagues. Freedom at its finest. The atmosphere was great - quaint, warm, not too loud, and every employee wore jeans that they stole from their moms. Food was hot and delicious. Will likely return on my next safari. 5 out of 5 stars.

Delicious Blue Cheese Lamb burger, (Really...yum!) and was able to get it on a gluten free bun. Nice refreshing side salad to go with it, and a great mixed drink to top it off. To add to that, the place has a cozy atmosphere and I wasn't made to feel at all awkward as a solo diner- waitresses were equally attentive and didn't try to hurry me along. Great little spot, I'd definitely go again

My boyfriend and I came here on Canada Day in hopes that the restaurant was open for some good food. We both ordered the regular burger (mine with caramelized onions and his with a fried egg) and we seriously believe these were the best burgers we've had in our entire lives. Price was not expensive at all compared to many other downtown restaurants and the service was great! We will be back :)

The lowly potato, elevated to delicate, salty nirvana. Exquisite crunch and just the right amount of salt make their fries a joy to eat. Do yourself a favour and try the onion rings. Made in house, they are so light as to feel insubstantial, with a crunch and flavour that take your breath away. More please!

Love it ...great menu...except my to-go GF (gluten free) orders have been messed up twice which is an expensive error since I can't eat it (20$ once, $40 the second time). I'll still go back because I know their intentions were good- it isn't east to accommodate special diets during rush hour-- but I'd recommend anyone GF etc to check their order before leaving.

Had the lamb burger and poutine. The burger was good, but salty. The Poutine was inedible with salt. We ended up putting it in the garbage. Wrote Pink Bike to complain about this, hoping they'd at least respond with "sorry, we'll try and fix this", but have heard nothing back. Sorry dudes. My food was so salty I was not able to eat it. Tried to contact you, but you decided not to respond. One star.

Unique but delicious burger. Had the classic pink bicycle. The sesame seed bun is awesome the fries were crisped to perfection and lightly salted the meat had an different but good flavor. It tasted as if it had a little sweetness to it and maybe some Worcester? Also had the spinach and blue cheese salad very tasty. Loved the red peppers they paired really well with the pears and blue cheese.

The black bean veggie burger is what I order for when I visit, if I want a beef burger I go to Red Robin. This is probably the only veggie burger I truly enjoy. I did find the fry portion to be rather large but I usually cannot finish a full meal when eating out.

Last Tuesday was my second time here after I mentioned to someone how much I love Bin 4. My first time was underwhelming. The second time wasn't much better. The buns are too big and firm so I find they squash the burger and fixings all over the place making things very messy. They do have so awesome home made onion rings. The batter has a bit of spice to it which is very unique. I will stick to Bin 4 for my gourmet burger cravings though.

The black bean veggie burger is what I order for when I visit, if I want a beef burger I go to Red Robin. This is probably the only veggie burger I truly enjoy. I did find the fry portion to be rather large but I usually cannot finish a full meal when eating out.

Descent food, it matches the prices, nothing out of the usual, it's good, not "hipster" kind of food, and the noise level is well balanced despise the small space. However, the service could improve a little, it didn't seem to be that busy but the staff seemed to prefer to talk to each other rather than pay attention to customers that were ready to leave, which around lunch time on a weekday it discourages us to come back.

This place is awesome. I was visiting Victoria and went here two days in a row for dinner. I had one of their weekly special burgers-- Bulgogi beef topped with Korean BBQ sauce, Edam cheese, lime mayo, carrots, cucumber, shredded cabbage and crispy leeks. It was fantastic. The second time I had the Ahi Tuna burger which was just okay. The fries however are delicious--- they have some type of seasoning on them. I recommend the maple mayo for dipping.

The variety of choices for burgers can be overwhelming. The best way to deal with the "problem" is just keep going back and trying them all!! Also, the fries and poutine are served with delicious Rosemary Gravy ... as if they weren't already some of the BEST fries around. the gravy just takes then up a notch. Best Burger EVER. Yes, even better than Bin 4.... Intimate and charming, its been my go to restaurant since i moved to Victoria, and now they have pickle chips!? Oh and if you are a veggie burger connoisseur like my GF, you HAVE to check this place out. They have 3 diff types (black bean is her fave... tad bit spicy!) Oh, and try the truffle fries! you wont be disappointed, we never are! (Actually going there tonight! lol)

If you are in Victoria, you must stop and have a meal at this amazing restaurant! It is a cozy restaurant, with very reasonable prices, perfect for a business lunch, a family meal or a date. It is also centrally located near the Royal Theatre, yet there is always ample parking. The food is incredible and the staff are incredible. And they have three vegetarian burgers!!! I have been a vegetarian most of my adult life and have never had a portobello mushroom burger like the one at the pink bike. Most times, a restaurant will put one on their menu because they want to offer a vegetarian option, but all it is is a hard to chew mushroom on a bun. At the pink bike, the mushroom is marinated, tender and incredibly tasty. It is topped with almond crusted goat cheese, a fresh sesame seed bun, and your choice of many different toppings. And the vegetarian poutine....oh my! Enough....just go there!

Heard about this place from the locals. Wait staff were very pleasent and efficient. Shared a blue cheese lamb burger and a mutton burger with my son. Both were excellent, but we both would order the mutton one next time. Found the blue cheese to over power the delicate lamb taste. Both burgers come with perfectly cooked crispy hot fries. (I am very particular about my fries) If I lived in Victoria this would be my go to burger place hands down. I have some family from Toronto going this week to Victoria and they already have The Pink Bicycle on their to do list. You will not be disappointed.

The pink bicycle is a great establishment! The Restaurant is full of wonderful waiting staff and kitchen staff. For how busy it is and how big the line up can be they do a great job of making you feel welcome. The burgers by far the best portion for price and the specials are very innovated and worth trying something new each time you visit the pink bike. The fact that all the meat is local, the buns are from the bakery a few stores up the street from the restaurant and the head chef is very passionate about the food and the kitchen. This is a must to try if your in a burger mood! Be brave and try some specials too, the burger, drink or desert specials are worth a try! YUMMMM! My favourites are the Elvis burger and the thanksgiving burger ohhh and the liver and onion burger (all specials)! ENJOY

Food is pretty good. However, I wish they would take their Sea Shepherd sticker down. Isn't it ironic that a hamburger joint thinks they are helping the ocean? Agriculture (particularly beef) is the biggest cause of species extinctions and destruction to the ocean. I spent over a decade risking my life at sea in the Atlantic and Pacific as a government regulator helping to protect the oceans. I also attended court as an expert witness to prosecute people who do not respect the ocean/resource. While working in the Atlantic the Sea Shepherd society was breaking up ice flows that my colleagues were working on. They have also video taped themselves in the Pacific where they were launching containers filled with acid on fishermen (or whoever else might be on the deck i.e a conservationist), and they are also alleged to have sunk 8 fishing vessels by ramming them in the southern hemisphere. I requested that they take it down, and explained why I consider it to be offensive, but they refuse. Condoning violence is shameful. Keep destroying the ocean with your hamburgers Pink Bike. You've lost me and my wife as a customer.

Server was knowledgable about alternative eating habits such as vegan and gluten free and helped my partner pick out a delicious burger. I upgraded to the poutine with my burger for an extra $3. The food was tasty and the portions were very large! Value for money was quite good. As a person with an average appetite, I would recommend ordering a burger and a side to share with your meal partner. My wife and I have a burger each with one order of fries and one order of onion rings. I could barely finish my burger and left half the onion rings. They were delicious, but I couldn't finish it all without feeling uncomfortable. This is a great place if you have a big appetite and want an excellent meal at a good price.

The description "relaxed joint for gourmet hamburgers" does no one any favours. This is an intensely focused "joint" for superlative food and an intense dining experience. With many visits I think I have tried everything and EVERYTHING has been great! My standard fare has settled into the Blue Cheese Lamb Burger and truffle fries but next visit might be the Halibut burger and beet and greens salad.

This is by far my favourite restaurant on the island, hell I'd even say it's my favourite restaurant ever! My partner and I moved here from Ontario and we left our go to burger joint there. We desperately looked around and tried so many places for a similar taste and overall vibe. One by one, each restaurant was disappointing. Then we stumbled upon The Pink Bike. What actually drew us in was the long line up. I thought if people were going to wait in this, the burgers must be delicious! We were not and never have been disappointed by The Pink Bike. Never has my food (I get the black bean veg burger) been less than incredible. The service is great, (I'd like to throat punch the dude who told the women to dress up) the beer is cold and the food is beyond comparison. Great job!

I saw online they have vegan cheese and can accommodate allergies, so I went to try them. Im allergic to dairy and gluten, so i let the waitress know. I want the Lamb Burger, vegan cheese, gf bun. She told me the Lamb burger has parmesan in it and the GF bun has milk powder. So i ended up getting the beyond burger, lettuce wrap with grilled pineapple. Then my burger was delivered with no pineapple. Not the satisfying meal i expected. The only positive was how nice the waitress was.

Don't know why people like this place much. It's crowded and the food is not that great. Went there for a poutine after reading that it's the top 5 places in Canada to pig out on poutine. Honestly, the poutine I had at Costco 2 weeks ago was way better. Number 1: lack of gravy. Had to ask for extra gravy, still not enough. Didn't feel like asking for more. Number 2: cheese curd was not melting. Probably because of the lack of gravy. Cheese texture was hard like an over-chewed gum. Too bad, because I was looking forward to tasting grass-fed cheese curds. Next: the onion rings. Mistakenly ordered the large portion. In my mind, I was picturing plump-panko style breading, instead it was thin and greasy batter like you get at a fast food joint. After tasting a couple, I asked for truffle and honey mustard dip hoping that it will make the rings taste better. No such luck. Thankfully, the service was great. Therefore, another star.

Very disappointed as this place was recommended by three friends. We got the truffle mushroom burger with a coconut curry soup, blue cheese burger with fries, and onion rings. The burgers were decent but the soup was lukewarm (so they microwave the soup???) with the saddest looking half piece of focaccia. The onion rings were bland, not crunchy, and looked like they spent too long in the fryer. Everything needed a good few shakes of salt. Won’t be going back.

Trying to find a place that is equal to Teddy's burgers in Victoria (cuz we know no one can beat them) but the food here (specifically the burgers here) aren't even better than bin4 or Red Robins. It's basically a more bland version of bin4. 3 stars because they have nice girls good service, who I feel sorry for because i'm just sitting and already sweating, and they have to work with one fan. My partner TRULY didn't like this place, and left with his shirt soaked in sweat, he rated all the food under 4.5/10 and I rate the food all under 6.5/10. We ordered deep fried macaroni sticks, mushroom beef burger and weekly special burger. Again, the only good thing here is the service, not their fault it was bad ambience and bad food. But what was weird was we went there were only 2 tables ahead of us, our food took FOREVER, and ppl started to come in and I said to my partner "thank god we came earlier and got our order done" the couple who came 15 mins after us (who also ordered burgers) got there food first. I'm glad at least we got to say we experienced it. I think if you enjoy the place 'Fat Burger' you may like this place, the level is very similar. Though my partner thought it was bad, I thought it was average, but in the end we were just really wanting to get out of there and get air to breathe.

Trying to make the hamburger fancy? I do not need a hostess or to be seated or my drinks ordered first, you serve burgers, made with ground meat, and sides aren't included... wonderful meats like lamb thrown through a grinder? If you want to make it fine peruse the other method of making the Hamburg steak, and mince it to preserve the texture... a burger meal should not take an hour and a half, preparation of meat patties is basic practice, don't try to sell it up as fine food... an establishment for people who want to play at a nice restaraunt but can't appreciate good food.

Had the blue cheese burger with a poutine. Burger was dry with a smear of blue cheese. Poutine was dry with a teaspoon of cold gravy and some soggy onion bits on top. Obvious not much love being put into the over priced hipster burgers at this place. Should have just got my " gourmet " burger from a chain restraunt for half the price and been more satisfied. The Pink Bicycle is the best burger place in Victoria. There is nothing that compares to the Pink Bicycle in terms of burgers. The truffle oil tossed fries are also delicious. Most of the soups that I have had have also been good. The restaurant itself is very small and frequently crowded. Due to it's popularity there is frequently a wait. The quality of service has varied greatly depending on the service staff. The food more than makes up for these minor problems.

Excellent spot for burgers. Tried the truffle mushroom burger and it was delicious and extremely filling. Onion rings tasted very different than typical and had a slightly unusual texture — like a chickpea batter used in some Indian deep-fried dishes, and a similar seasoning too. I have a nightshade allergy, the night before I wrote a letter to the restaurant asking what I could eat. What I got the next morning was amazing: a full response detailing all the components that were safe so I could custom build something. Further, unbeknownst to me until I showed up, Jennifer sent the letter to her crew and printed out what I couldn't have. I was blown away by the effort and the friendliness of the staff. And of course it was DELICIOUS!

We were looking forward to dining in tonight at Pink Bicycle. Sadly is was a disappointment. Took well over ten minutes to get the bacon for a bacon caesar drink. Our burgers came without the bacon (which was ordered) and lacked basic seasoning. Very bland food. No Salt and Pepper on the table. Exceptionally bad. Poor service, the waitresses spent more time chatting amongst themselves then they did tending to customers. When our food arrived, a salad ordered at our table turned into a burger, which was eventually fixed, but when the salad arrivedit was overseasoned and the croutons were hard as rock. The burgers and poutine were sub par as well, nowhere near the quality expected for nearly $20 a plate. The only saving grace was a comp for the salad, but apart from that I wouldn't eat here again.

If you want a huge selection of different kinds of burgers, ranging from staples like beef and pork, to the more adventurous like bison and mutton, this place is your best bet. Over the past 6 years of coming here, their food is consistent and tasty. The large selection of dips for your fries is a great accompaniment and the atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. Restricted by lack of space for tables, you might encounter a bit of a wait for peak times to eat, but the service is solid and knowledgeable and will take good care of you. Only complaint is that I’ve had a wishy-washy experience with their fries being overdone or in old oil, but otherwise I will still come back to enjoy my hands-down favourite, the Metchosin Mutton burger. Another thing to note is the selection of vegetarian-friendly burgers and the option to customize that way, which is refreshing for a city whose big names for eating don’t cater a lot to that demographic. And props for supplying their food via local farmers!

The pink bicycle is know for their amazing burgers. They have a wonderful selection of local meat for the carnivores and have some fantastic veggie burger options (and fish, of course). The fries are spectacular and every burger I've tried there is top notch. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable. It's a burger joint, and the best one in the city for a gourmet style burger. Their rosemary gravy is to die for, and the poutine is also stellar. Go here if you want a good comfort food burger and dining experience, like to chat with friends and want to make an evening out of dinner (1-2 hours) and need a break from a chain burger joint. It's not fast food so be gone with the 'it took too long for just a burger' comments.

Had a great lunch with a client here. I always get the Mutton Burger but today we changed it up with the Bahn Mi Burger and the Bison BBQ Burger. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and retains a lot of juice and never dry. The sauces are flavorful without being overbearing and the overall burger eats quite light which does not leave you feeling lethargic. Staff are always very attentive and cheerful. Love this place, their house salad is my fav and I love the variety of burgers. HOWEVER, I have noticed that any time I go on a weekday evening, the kitchen definitely has their B team going. Every time I've gone on a Wednesday something has been messed up on my order or the meal is lacklustre. Today I asked for a salad and was given fries, but luckily checked while looking for cutlery. The server apologized and they quickly got a salad together for us and I asked if there was cutlery in the bag, and she said yes. There was no cutlery. Not a big deal, but I'm not at home and now can't eat my salad. GREAT PLACE, just go during the day or a weekend xo

The burger patty itself basically fell apart when I picked up the burger and the meat itself was mushy with little to no texture, it was a good attempt and flavour was good but the execution and how everything came together.... Not good..... I also ordered a side of the Mac and cheese sticks and they were not good either... over fried and was dark brown in colour, and there was little to no flavour in it. Must if been frozen for a long time. This was my third time at pink bicycle and every time I'm there I have high hopes but leave a little disappointed...

The is fairly decent but not a lot of variety. My then five year old found her favourite, macaroni and cheese. When it arrived she was disappointed that it was covered in batter( as it was deep fried) but when she bit in to it she found it way to spicy. That was a disappointment for all of us as we usually like to take our children out with us for lunch. Could have a wider selection. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere was pretty calm and nice. Having more options for children is a huge factor for us when we go out to eat.

We had arrived as a party of 2 and were told to wait 15 minutes, no problem. However they then proceeded to sit a walk in group 4 people at the window bar, where we could have been sat. 10 minutes go by and a table opens up. They clean it, put 4 menus down. I asked if we could sit at the table and they said that they were going to wait for more tables to open and rearrange the seating for better use, whatever that meant. Shortly after a new walk-in group came in of 4; and were quickly sat at the table I had asked about. I asked if either of the two groups had a reservation and was told that they did not and a table would open up soon (as if they can guarantee such a thing). After waiting a total of 30 minutes, being denied seating twice in favour of customers that came in after us, and no seat coming available, we decided to ask for take-out. The waitress said it would be another 20 minutes for our food to be ready. At this news we decided to leave immediately.

As per the other reviews, this may be the best burger place in Victoria, but that just shows the awful state of burger-dom in Vic. The burger was mediocre at best. It made me feel sick for half a day after, and that's not a common occurrence. The fries were good thou, hence the 2 star instead of 1. To put it into perspective, a five guys burgers would be 4 times as good. Tldr; go to a different place and get something else.

All local, sustainable, organic, amazing. Gourmet quality, enormous portion sizes, just the best burgers ever. Hip vibe without being pretentious, fresh menu with plenty of great twists. I always "go big" when here so I add a fried egg and roasted jalapenos to the Blue Flame Burger... And if that won't fatten me up quick enough, I often opt to have truffle fries on the side...even though their house salad with candied sunflower seeds is one of my favourites anywhere.

First, we waited a long time, but whatever, it was a busy weekend night. After waiting for almost thirty minutes for the food to arrive (after having waited 45 minutes to be seated) we were very underwhelmed by what was served. My boyfriend had the fairly flavourless bison burger, which was more like a huge bun, some meat, and bit of bbq sauce, and I had the Blue Flame burger. First, there was so much sauce I could barely approach the thing. Then, after messily eating a quarter of it, I found that it was barely cooked in the middle. As in huge patches of dark pink meat. I don't like complaining, but I really wasn't into it. When I showed the server she didn't seem to care. "I understand if you're hesitant, but it should be fine. Every burger is measured to temperature". Sure, I bet that one spot near the edge close to the grill where you stuck the needle was to temp, but this mostly uncooked part in the middle sure isn't. A busy restaurant sometimes makes mistakes, no big deal. But your attitude when dealing with them makes the difference to me. She suggested I get another one, but after almost two hours spent trying to get to this meal and it being after 9:00, I just wanted to go home. No offer to refund.

Unreal. The burger selection was top notch, the burger itself (elk with quail egg) that i had was great. I asked where the elk was from, and they were able to tell me exactly where it came from. The poutine, unlike most places, used real cheese curds, and the drinks were fantastic. If you go, I'd highly recommend the bourbon fog.

The first time we went we fell in love and unfortunately the last couple of times has not been the same. Our burgers were overcooked and over sauced and just not consistent. Too bad as the staff are amazing and the menu is killer for vegans. I'm going to keep trying as I adore the atmosphere of the place and the drinks are yummy.

Like everyone these days I'm trying to make the healthiest choices about what I eat.... but somewhere deep in my soul, a craving always lurks. About 3 weeks ago that one word popped into my head: Burger. Before long a friend and I wound up at The Pink Bike. They have quite a selection on the menu, but I was craving a good basic burger, so that's what I ordered. Now, if you are looking for a sparkling new haute fashion eatery, this might not be the place for you. It's actually,... well...a bit worn. But clean and well kept. When my meal came (it seemed like forever, but maybe 20 min), my life changed. It was fabulous. Absolutely 10 out of 10. I honestly doubt I will ever enjoy a burger this much again. Just won't happen.

My favourite burger place in Victoria, I love to order their Cheeseburger with the works. One tip is that the price of fries is added to the menu price of the burgers, so if you order a standalone burger, it only costs $9 or 10, instead of 14, etc... Overall, everything was pretty great. I was happy with the food and the service was pleasant. Even though the restaurant was packed inside with families, we got a seat outside in the sunshine which was nice (they had 2 tables out there). I had the bison burger which was quite nice. On par or slightly better than other bison I have sampled. Our server was polite and attentive. If you like burgers, their menu has a variety of options and should fulfill anyone's appetite. I would have no qualms recommending this place.

Enough of that, the burgers here are a beautiful thing! I got the Pink Bicycle cheese burger with truffle fries. I added a fried egg and bacon (cuz I skipped breakfast). The fresh Island beef burger came to the table with the yolk of the egg oozing out, ready to be lapped up by my crazy delicious truffle fries (best fries in town). The burger is generous and packed with juicy, four napkin flavour. Best burger in town? Yes! Also, once again, Hoyne Dark Matter, Pilsner and IPA on tap! It was worth the extra wait;)

Had lunch with a client here yesterday about 1:30 in the afternoon. He had the Metchosin Mutton burger while I had the Blue Flame. We agreed both were excellent! The service was good as well, not too little, not too much. Being relatively new to Victoria this was my first time here but there's no question I'll definitely be back!

Just had one of the best burgers of my life. Meat is cooked to perfection . Best part is the bun thou. Never had a burger bun this good. The sesame On top of the bun makes a big difference. Burgers & fries A+. I also ordered cherry soda was very good. I liked the cozy ambiance and lighting. Very good for what it is. Got to come back and try to lamb burger since everyone saying it’s so good.

We went here because of the good reviews but I have to say that everything here was underwhelming. We tried the goat cheese salad with beets and it was tiny and incredibly plain with a very sad dressing. The portebella mushroom burger was soggy and cold, the vegan poutine was far too salty. The salmon burger was dry and overcooked and tasteless. Way overpriced for what we got, they were a real disappointment. Will not be going back.

Burger was one of the best I have had. Poutine was very good. I like going to places that have craft soda. 3pm was definitely a great time to come. Service was excellent. We will be back to find out about these mac and cheese sticks

Burgers are delicious! A lot of different combination of flavours and types of meat. From lamb to tuna to beef. The lettuce wrap is definitely a must try if you want to cut down the carbs.

Wow this is the most gourmet burger place in Victoria (I've been to all of them). The food is actually artistry. We had poutine to start, it was the best I've ever had. I had mushroom burger, again, best burger I've ever had. Sides were onion rings (best I've ever had) and mac and cheese sticks (absolutely delicious though a lil greasy... But what do you expect with mac and chs sticks haha). I will return as soon as I can. Wow this place is a gem.

They forgot our appetizer (mac and cheese sticks) but when we reminded them, they expedited it and it came out before we finished our meals. They were fantastic.

I'd give less stars if I could. My wife and I ate here 2 years ago and had a great meal. Really enjoyed it. Just a few minutes ago we attempted to eat an order we placed through door-dasher. Our burgers were char-burnt and carbon on the outside and fully red on the inside. The two burgers were $50 with delivery. We were disgusted and sent food not fit to eat. How do restaurants like this stay open??????

We ordered through Door Dash for pickup. When I got there they asked who my order was for and I told them Meghan. They went and checked the orders that were waiting at the door for takeout, then came back and told me my order wasn't ready and to wait outside until it was complete. The hostess said she would come outside and me me the order when it was ready. I waited outside for 20 minutes watching many orders come and go, and noticed that one bag had been sitting there since I arrived. I went back inside and asked for an update on my order. The hostess asked for the name and I again said Meghan. She then grabbed the bag that had been sitting by the door since I first arrived 20 minutes prior. She handed it to me and said "I thought you said Sarah." I replied, "no I certainly said Meghan, which doesn't sound all that similar to Sarah." She then responded "oh well thank you," and walked away. I realize this may have been a mistake, but I didn't even receive an apology for the mishap. My food was quite cold from sitting there the whole time and the quality was compromised. It's a shame because Pink Bicycle makes the best poutine in town and I've been coming here for years, but this customer service was so terrible that it has me second guessing a return.

It's very difficult to judge a place based on a single visit. Based on first impressions, this place is cozy, intimate and very, very out of the box as far as burger joints go. If you walked in not knowing what type of restaurant it was, I think you would be hard pressed to figure out it was a gourmet burger establishment. Based on the vibe alone, I would recommend it. It's an experience in it of itself. I'll admit the wait time and service experience on this first visit were nothing to brag about, but the food was of great quality, and I will definitely be going again to try more menu items.

We finally got round to trying this place after a year or so of walking by (don't be put off by the frontage which on a wet December day looks a little sad) The welcome inside is warm and cosy. The curried soup was really delicious and the choice of putines and burgers cater to most needs with good flavours. The staff were really friendly so all in all 5*
