Dropped by here a few years ago for their gluten free pizza and remember it was excellent. We were in Victoria again this weekend and thought we'd give it another try. I was not disappointed. This place serves some of the best gluten free pizza anywhere. The crust is fantastic. They have tasty and unique toppings options. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Victoria.

Your guys pizza is good but denying people pizza on a Saturday night within 30 minutes of “closing”. Update your hours team, if you don’t want people making orders. Half of our groups order was a accepted, the others weren’t. When we called to see if they could help us out with the orders, they told us tough luck. Loving the spirit of customer service ????

Small privately owned place with funny hours and sometimes a tad irregular service, but their pizza is FANTASTIC!! lots of vegetarian options as well as regular pizza varieties. Just reach out before ordering online to confirm wait times etc, otherwise these guys are great :) recommended!!

Normally I'd give the joint 5 stars easily. I have been a regular customer for over a decade. it is one of the few places to get a safe GF pizza for celiacs. But last time I was in, one guy was running the counter and making the pizzas and he wasn't washing his hands between handling money and pizza dough. You need more staff at busy times so this doesn't happen!

Bought two slices At midnight.. Service was very unfriendly when I asked for a napkin. I figured w.e it's late they are tired. Went home and while I was about to eat my second slice. Excellent vegan and whole wheat pizza. TONS of toppings. Reasonable prices. Be sure to order ahead of when you want to eat if you want a full/custom pizza, as they are very busy with delivery orders and it can take 40 minutes to create your meal.

Best place to stop by for a slice after a night out on the town. These guys are doing some wild stuff with pizzas, so if you aren't a traditionalist when it comes to pies, this is the place to try. The prices are a little higher than some other places, but this just reflects the gourmet ingredients and the quality. They also have lots of vegetarian options, as well as gluten free which is great.

The Joint has delicious unique pizzas. I usually get a healthier pizza with whole wheat, basil pesto, and veggie potato toppings but make no mistake, the bread is fluffy, the basil pesto is savory, and the toppings are very satisfying. I sometimes get other pizzas like the veggie beef taco pizza or a typical veggie meat and cheese and I am always pleased with how great they taste. I always feel welcome going into the pizzeria and I am happy they have a variety of vegan options.

Would give zero stars if was an option. Ordered online because we wanted to support a local business. Order accepted, system sent a response. Drive by to pick up and the place is locked and the lights are off. I’m all for people taking vacation but seriously turn off your online ordering system. And the voice message when you call doesn’t indicate they are closed and says “we don’t really check messages”. So, I hope the refund comes without a fight.

Have been a customer for 10+ years. Occassionally had complaints but normally everything is great. Had a pizza tonight where everything was great, except the prep person had obviously burnt their caramelized onions and no one took them off the line and made new ones. Pizza was delivered through doordash. Would have been pretty good had the caramelized onion not been burnt. Don't want to leave a bad review, just want the owners and management to know that burnt prep went out on a pizza. That means multiple people missed the opportunity to correct that issue. So someone should be aware the issue exists. Also, sauce amounts and cook time weren't up to par. Feels like new staff or poor training regimen. Thank you for the pizza though, it was otherwise good.

Last night me and the hubby were feeling particularly lazy and decided to order in some late night grub to our hotel. Delivery was fast! Food arrived hot, and the delivery dude had an awesome beard to boot! The cheese rolls we have and the pizza were both top notch. Loved the whole wheat crust, and the ingredients tasted hella fresh. Maybe a little more in dollah than the average pizza joint, but totes worth it in my humble opinion.

So disappointed. The Joint is usually bang-on with their food, but they really dropped the ball today. My spouse and I both ordered calzones. Pep, bacon, etc... We ended up pulling out over 3 tablespoons of undercooked bacon and or just plain white gristle per calzone. It was disgusting! I'm definitely a fan of pork belly in my soups etc. But you can't serve someone undercooked, fatty bacon, in that amount per portion. It was the type of experience that made us both look at each other and say "no more pizza for a long time" Step it up folks...

My wife can't eat gluten and I can't eat dairy so this one is one of the only places that has gluten and dairy free pizza. It's quite good, not nearly as good as a gluten and dairy FULL pizza but we like to pretend we can eat pizza now. Friendly staff, great location, and a decent gluten and dairy free pizza. They use Daiya so it's good for people with dairy allergies. They deliver and they are also across from a nice park where you can sit and eat pizza.

I have been ordering pizza from The Joint for years now and now suddenly I am outside of their coverage area...By less than 100 meters. I called today to place a $100 order and apparently they no longer want my business because I'm too far away from them. I get it, you have to draw the line somewhere, but you can't blame distance, when I'm ordering for a side road off of burnside half a kilometer from Tillicum mall, when they are willing to drive past my house, that extra 500m to service up to Tillicum and Burnside. It's just ridiculous that if I was ordering for literally four houses closer to Burnside it would have been okay...Great job guys, You just lost a customer over less than 100 meters. Never ordering again even if I do happen to be within their arbitrary lines of coverage. It's a shame. I really liked their food.

Being from Chicago, I love pizza. I had the opportunity to enjoy 3 different pizza's. Wild Westcoast(abbreviation WoW), The salmon had a rich smoked flavor blended beautifully with the cheese and sauce. Thai Peanut, the chrunk of noodles provided audio stimulation to the flavor of chicken and peanut sauce. Even the traditionalist kept my taste buds dancing in awe.

I worked one shift as a Delivery Driver here, and they took 2 months to pay me for it! A very odd situation where Jeff kept making weird excuses like "my chequebook isn't here" or "I'm sick and can't think." I warned them that what they were doing was illegal, and finally after writing me a POST-DATED CHEQUE (for December 1st) they finally gave me the $120 they owed me... man, it was more work just to get the money than to actually work the shift! XD I'm never ordering from or trusting this place again. y'all can do what you want, but I feel obligated to share this. there are waaaay better pizza places in Vic e.g. Famoso, Standard Pizza, Fiamo's, etc. <3

VEGANS BEWARE. Came all the way from Van for this place. Specified I was making a custom pizza due to being vegan, preoceeded to order a small vegan pizza, Daiya cheese, plant based pepperoni etc, the pizza maker handed me my pizza and said “here’s the vegan pizza”, turns out it had real pepperoni on it, and they were out of plant based pepperoni, which is why they most likely gave me the meat option, most likely thinking I wouldn’t notice. It was nice for them not to charge but a pretty thoughtless action at best. Very saddened and disappointed.

Latenight drunken pizza from here SLAPS. Someone wrote my name on the wall in there and I have gotten a lot of weird texts in the last couple of years. Unsure who did it, but provided for some great laughs! They are by the slice or whole pie which is great. Friendly staff and they are never rude! We used to enjoy ordering nachos and a calzone for dinner every so often. Last time we did there was such poor customer service and we had the following issues: 1. Calzone was so undercooked and doughy 2. Nacho toppings were not as advertised. Beef and tomato only, nothing else. I called about these issues and was met with lackluster customer service. Was told they have always made nachos with beef and tomato rounds as toppings. This is clearly untrue as their menu states otherwise and this was a typical order for us once or twice a month.

Gluten free here, doesn't even compare to dominos which is usually where I get gluten free pizza from. I do create my own, and For a small pizza with ten toppings at dominos.... 50 bux. For a LARGE here with 10 cool unique awesome toppings, 40 bux. My son is having pineapple and pickles on his... Ew.... But still, they have pickles as a topping, which is super cool.

These people will not make the effort to get a driver with A WEEK'S NOTICE for a catered event (substantial number of pizza's. Their website states "We are happy to deliver both large and small orders during the lunch hour with 24 hour notice provided." Plenty of other businesses want this kind of business.

Got Uber Eats to deliver, was fast delivery but all three pizzas were burnt. Was looking forward to trying an independent Victoria pizza place but it was too burnt to enjoy. I'm sure it's good if not left in the oven past the proper bake time. For the quality and price, I wouldn't get it again.

Plenty of parking out front, easy peasy to stop and grab a slice unless you're like Ken Murray and find driving a real challenge. Fortunately they always have slices available so I didn't have to be subjected to a whiny missive from Ken about how slow the service was or how much of his precious time was wasted because his pickup order wasn't ready when he stopped in to grab it. If Ken actually lived in Victoria and not Langford, he might be less irritable and might leave some Kinder reviews for struggling small business in Vancouver who are forced to endure his poor reviews and arrogant entitlement as they try their best to remain in business during a global pandemic that has resulted in countless businesses closing.

Pizza is usually really good and it is great that they have a gluten and dairy free option for people like myself, however each time i order from them and order a gluten and dairy free pizza waiting 2 hours for delivery on a sunday only to have it come with dairy all over it. This is a consistant issue and they even screw up my remakes they send back to me. Waitin for 2 hours everytime i order and only to be disappointed with a pizza that i cannot eat. This is the 3rd time in a row....

Order a few pies, 7pm-ish on a Friday. Called it in, no answer. No problem. Busy. I get it. Put an order in on their website. System was a bit vague as to times but not problem, not In a rush. Stop by around 730-ish. Closed. Would have been good to know they were closed during peak pizza time? Oh, their system still charged my card. I’ll revise this review accordingly that gets properly refunded in a timely fashion otherwise I guess it’s charge back time. -e- refund issued within 12 hours, no issue there. Rating changed, pizza here was good the last time I came across it while, well, open.

This pizza place is fantastic. Staff are very friendly. One of the best thing crust gluten free pizzas in town. The traditionalist is highly recommended. Crispy rice flour crust with high quality toppings. Come try a slice or a whole pizza!

I have eating here and loved their tuner free pizza, but today not so great. The pizza was overcooked and hard. The toppings were sparse. The first pizza they delivered was the wrong Pizza. After they remade the pizza, the quality was not good.

Advertises vegan options. Ordered a pizza through the skipthedishes clearly specified vegan with no cheese through all toppings and notes. Received a pizza that clearly had cheese on it. Upon calling the Joint the staff member insisted it was Daiya and admitted he put it on by mistake and tried to pick it off. The pizza also had tomatoes which I did not order. It seems the staff didn't look at the toppings requested and couldn't be bothered to make a new one. There was also non-vegan dipping sauce added and a messy note note written in the pizza box 'dipping sauce is not vegan sorry!' So unprofessional. Never ordering from here again.

Normally pizza and service is amazing. Tonight they wrote down the wrong address on our pizza so it got delivered to the wrong place. Once they realized they told us that one pizza would be free. Charged us full price despite having to wait much longer for it. They obviously don’t take care of their customers after they screwed up.

Gluten Free rice crust pizza: The best GF pizza I have had lately, a large GF pizza is a bit up there in price but really it is worth it. The sauce is sweet but not too sweet. The aloha is the best in my opinion. They treat all GF pizza orders as if it were an allergy etc. I have never felt sick after a pizza from there for reference. I trust it and continue to order from the Joint.

For walk in pizza, this is the best place to get a slice in Victoria. Unfortunately the delivery version of the pizza seemed lack luster, under cooked and without the same care and attention you get storefront.

They get five stars for being the only place in town where I can get a gluten free slice of pizza. Also the perogie pizza on a gluten-free crust really does taste like perogies, which is awesome if you have allergies that keep you from eating regular perogies.

They have gluten free, dairy free, vegan options!!! It’s a rice crust, which is good, and Daiya cheese. My husband had the regular crust and said it “it’s pizza” The staff was super friendly, helpful and patient. I would go again by myself for sure.

I placed an order, my credit card was billed, and when I showed up to pick up my order there’s a sign on the door stating they are closed for a week. A warning in your website would have been reasonable. Now I’m an hour late for dinner plans and out almost $35. My first time with your business will be my last time. Better believe I’ll be in next week to get my money back. Unbelievable
