I admit that the level of English is really average, but do you look down on Asians without telling you what her actions are for? ! Too disappointed, overturned the previous good impression. I wonder in my heart, since I look down on Asians so much, why come to work in an Asian supermarket? Isn't this to add to yourself? ! So many Fairways in town however this one is located in the Shelbourne stretch. Parking lot has always vacant spots any time of the day. Stocks a wide variety of Asian products. Produce is quite limited if compared with downtown Quadra but still sufficient to satisfy most customers. It has a small section providing hot cooked typical malll style Chinese cuisine taste not too bad. Deli is pretty small too.

For their deli Chinese food skip it and go to the quadra. st one. At Shelbourne, it has generally been sitting for a while and their portions suck. Every time I go here I look forward to the experience I get at quadra st and I am gut punched with disappointment. The service at the hot food deli counter is abysmal and as I had stated earlier you get about 30-40% less than you would at quadra st. (That being said the cold deli staff have always been kind) SKIP GETTING HOT FOOD HERE just stick to groceries. And if someone in management reads this, though I doubt they will, standardiz e your GD service and portions to match quadra because I am not coming back.

It's okay as a smaller grocery store. They have a good deli section. The staff has a workable grasp of the language, but with a mask on, they cannot understand what you may want and my order had to be repeated numerous times. I found the layout confusing at times and some common items that are carried at other locations are not carried here.

I have been to the customer service desk twice in the last few weeks and both times the employee (different person each time) has been really snarky in their attitude. I have not seen either of these female employees before in all my months and years visiting your store. Normally the staff members working at the service desk are very helpful and friendly. As a customer I should not be subjected to this type of attitude.

Product mislabeling. Usually, this wouldn't be an issue, but the way in which it was mislabeled is insensitive and completely disrespectful to Taiwanese. If you can put "product of" for all the other produce, why can't you keep doing that for Taiwanese cabbage as well? There was nothing wrong with how it was before. Saying that customers should obviously know that "China sweet Taiwan cabbage" means "Taiwanese cabbage, produced in China," is either lazy and ignorant, or intentionally condescending. Also, for what reason do you have to put there secondary information (country of production) before the actual product name itself? On a different subject, I've found them selling 3 packets of moldy noodles.

I love this place! It’s got everything I need and more! Such a surprise to come in each time to find new asian baked goods or Asian deli foods like marinated duck wing etc, I am in love. It really helps to have something feel so close to home when you’ve been far away for so long. Today I came in and asked to talk to someone from the meat department for a big slab of pork belly because the ones offered in the coolers were too small. They gave me the perfect cut! Thank you to you! All the butchers were closed and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to make the dish in time for Chinese New Year. Staff is friendly, HUGE Asian selection, lovely surprises! Definitely shop here if you’re looking for Asian groceries!

Great. You can buy anything here even Asia stuff. Foods and vegetables fresh. First time to Canada and dont know how to buy cigarette but staff very helpful. Shoppers nice. I like western chicken broth and mozzarella. I begin additing to the western cheeses like dictator Kim Jong Un and I gained weight significantly when i in Canada. Poor me, may I blame Fairway ? In short you should go there and forget other brands especially you from overseas

I'd usually rate this Fairway location a 4 or so, but I've been really frustrated with some of the employees lately, and today pushed me over the edge. Never buy their deli or over-the-counter "hot food". Not the 1st time feeling uneasy with service at the hot food counter here, but today was one of the worst customer experiences ever I've had in my life - it's literally ruined this location for me. The only reason this isn't 1 star is because I would still come here to buy some groceries, but only if the other Fairways are closed.

They have a surprisingly broad selection of import products from all kinds of places, especially India, China and Britain. There is also hot Chinese food entrees in the deli area, great for a quick and cheap dinner. I haven't been impressed with the quality of their produce.

Unfortunately, I can promote this place as there have been numerous occasions where I find mold on the food here. Produce and meats..... It's a little gross when u see some nice green fuzzy on your juicy steak. Prices are OK with Save on Foods being a little cheaper. This place does have a great ethnic selection so if you like that you will be good. Very large Asian selection and Mexican. Besides that you should probably go 1km North to Save on Foods.

Good produce and service. Great area in the produce and deli section as you can get many different treats. I like to go here for my Chinese produce as it is way closer then having to go to China Town to get the same things. Just carries that little bit of better Ethnic Products that make this a nice place to shop.

From my point of view, Fairway Market has the best prices for meat (i.e., chicken, beef, and fish). Quality is also fair. However, if you want to buy baby stuffs (e.g., food, formula, etc.) I suggest to go to another super market. Finally, what I love from Fairway, is the food zone that they have!! Chinese food!. Also, near Fairway you can find Fujija which is my favorite place to buy sushi.

They are starting to sell more Mexican food (traditional spices and stuff we use to cook traditional meals). I really appreciate that!! I don't have to go to the crammed fairway on quadra anymore! Besides the fact that this one is closer to home!

I had a very bad shopping experience in this supermarket. When I checked out, the cashier told me impatiently and asked me to put things down. And when I put my briefcase on the table of the last payment, she was very unfriendly to let me put it down. Recommend not to buy here, don’t check out at window 5.
