Milestones used to be a place I loved to go with friends and family, but service has gone downhill, the food and beverage menu offers less and it just isn't the same. I have been several times and service has been slow, orders were wrong or completely forgotten and the price of the food no longer matches the quality. You'd have a WAY better time at Earls!

The last time I was at Milestones, was 2011 with my Mother and my Wife, at an Xmas Party put on by Oak Bay Lodge, for their Adult Day Care Program. The crew there took special care of Her, they were/are Pros. Anyway what a venue and food and service xcellant!

Decent food but unfortunately the worst service we have ever received. The time it took for us to get our bill was way too long. We were not in a hurry but we sat there for over 30 minutes, with no drinks and no food, just waiting for the bill.. Water was not refilled (our waitress did not even bother to ask, even though we left our empty glasses at the edge of the table and she walked by multiple times). A mouse had run from UNDER OUR TABLE, to the next table. Other customers saw it too and notified a waitress. The waitress did not seem surprised, and just kept working. Again, we let another waitress know and her manager told us "there's construction across the street so it happens", and that was that. I wonder how many mice hang around the kitchen. We should have gone to Earls.

My steak was perfectly cooked, although a little salty (I think that's a local thing though). The Thai noodle dish was spot on and huge. The waitress staff were under the pump, maybe a body short for a busy lunch hour. Nice view over the harbour.

Best spot to eat for steller harbor views and absolutely wonderful food , you will not leave disappointed, if you park at the harbor air terminal it's a 2 min walk on flat ground very accessible.

Times are a little weird for everyone but milestones goes over and above to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of. Add a little bit of normalcy back to your lives and take a loved one out for a nice dinner at this waterfront gem. You won't be disappointed.

Milestones a great place to take guests - the view over the inner harbour is a great reflection of Victoria. There is a nice lookout point around the corner from milestones with a navy sculpture overlooking the harbour and is a great place for a coffee afterwords.

Not stroller friendly, had to use this ancient elevator that goes through the kitchen. It was sad....paid parking!!! and no signs how to get to milestones from the parking lot. The prices for dishes are soooo expensive. I won't be coming back.

Ordered via delivery service due COVID. Quite disappointed in the food taste and quality - I expected better. Coconut Calamari ($15) was quite tasteless and dip likewise. Expensive for what I got. Same can be said for the Seafood Spaghetti ($27); serving size not commiserate with price point; bland and disappointing. My first negative dining experience in Victoria since 2016. Perhaps patio dining is better? I doubt I'll try it, though; possibly for Happy Hour. Good location.

Good food, not overly expensive. My husband and I shared the sirloin and shrimp. Not huge servings, but it tasted good. The calamari was excellent, very tender, and not fishy tasting. We will return.

My working philosophy is that a hamburger proved a baseline on how to start judging a restaurant. Entering Milestones with high hopes - amazing, amazing location - and a hearty appetite, I went straight to the burger. Unfortunately, my food had no character, no soul, no joie de vivre. The patty was cooked nicely, but it had little taste. The cheese was a slice of Tillimook or other brand slapped on top and it wasn't even melted. The bacon was crispy, but it didn't add a lot to the burger. The side of fries that came with the burger were the standard fare with some Heinz catsup in a small container. Not to get all poetic, but a burger is a chance to make a statement. We care! We're unique! We will challenge you! My burger at Milestones made no statement. It wasn't bad... it was just a burger. The staff was really attentive and the scenery from the patio is drop-dead gorgeous, so there are other reasons to be positive about this place, but they're not taking the opportunity to be something special.

Amazing experience here. I went for my birthday dinner last weekend and everything was outstanding. My salmon was great, happy hour drinks, awesome appies, show-stopper cake (seriously the best cake I've ever had) and the service was sooooo good! Also, the view is 10/10 of the parliament buildings. I was so happy and we were talking about how good it was for days after.

The seafood pasta dish was good but some of the shrimps were almost raw. The rice of the sushi bowl my Asian wife had ordered was cold and only half cooked, so she asked the manager if she could get fish tacos instead. A few hours later she became sick and threw up all night long. We will definitely not coming back to this place!

Service polite but incredibly slow. Took well over an hour to get food. Drinks would arrive 15 to 20 mins after ordering. Even took multiple asks and 20 mins to get a cheque. Food was ok but value isn't there.

The food was definitely sub par. We had the French onion soup (the cheese didn't even touch the inside of the bowl). My wife had the smothered fries ( with the queso on the side. The meat was in the sauce). There was so much oil that we filled 4 napkins just draining it. The waitress was so empathetic she brought us a free dessert. We also both had a bloody Mary's that didn't taste like there was any vodka. Lots of ice. We will never eat here again but our waitress was awesome!

This is where you end up after a lovely walk around town, it's a perfect place for a weeknight date, however it's too crowded on summer and weekends. I wouldn't recommend any of the patios, both are way too crowded and there is too much happening downtown to be able to enjoy either. It has multiple windows seats but no much of a view so I wouldn't bother with that either. The service is great, the location is perfect: right in the core of downtown and right by the harbour.

It was date night and the restaurant did full justice. We got the two 3 course meals for my husband and I. It was a bit too much in terms of quantity. I was gasping for air by the end of it. It would have done just wonderfully if we ordered one 3 course and an additional main course. Lesson learnt in the first visit so did that in the second visit. Flavorful food , lovely seating, clean washrooms, polite employees, absolute value for money and time. Over 5 stars for this one!

I got the cod and chips, it was $18.00 for a 4 inch square piece of fish and some stale chips, the waitress did not have a knife and fork for me to eat and she did not return until the meal was done and consumed by eating it with my hands. Also there was no vinegar or salt on the table to add to the meal. The waitress seemed underprepaired and did not care about my dining experience. I would not recommend eating here unless you want to pay a lot for a small amount of poor quality food.

We went for lunch today at milestones at the inner harbour, my boyfriend and I. In a practically empty restaurant. The hostess sat us in the back of the restaurant and in my opinion the worst table in the restaurant. There was a huge tree blocking any view. The restaurant was empty so we were confused as to why we were placed there. They did seat us in a more reasonable spot after we asked and when we questioned why we were seated there the hostess said it was a very requested table (not believable). To top this off they (manager,hostess and waitresses) gathered chatting and looking in our directions absolutely obvious they were discussing our "unreasonable" request. They made us feel awkward and disgusted by their behaviour. We were paying patrons. Appalled and humiliated we got up and left --not willing to be ridiculed any further. actually felt too sick to eat BUT it doesn't end there after paying for the bill I re-entered the restaurant to get my change and THEN the manager asked if there was a problem (not bothering to ask when we visibly looked upset leaving) The only reason why she asked was because we were face.to to face she was at the till seeing if we left a tip (exactly the reason why I went back because I didn't want to leave a tip because of how we were treated) but she didn't show any concern or even apologize. We will Never go to this restaurant again and I wouldn't recommend especially for POC. Just my vibe from the place.

The server never asked us how the food was, which was too bad because the spinach dip chips were basically just salt. It hurt my tongue eating a few. He did however ask us if we wanted the appies first, then the mains. We said yes please. Then half our appies and 1 main showed up, followed by 1 thing we didn't order at all, then quite a while later the rest of the appies and the other main. Never asked us if we wanted another drink (glasses were empty) or how any part of the meal tasted. It seems every time he came by he rushed away as fast as possible. Only a couple other people in the dining room, and 4 people working who ran out food etc. Strange experience overall. Dinner was good.

So all we wanted was a drink! We were wondering around Victoria as you do during the tourist season. When we entered the Milestones on wharf street, it was chaotic! We wanted to be seated at the bar, however we were brought to a table. We stated “just here for a drink!” Took forever for a server to even stop and ask us what we wanted. When this finally happened we ordered our drink, 20 minutes later I even went to the bar to ask a manager what is taking so long, he ushered past me and ignored me Anyways back at the table.... 20 minutes after ordering wine and mimosas, one of drinks was forgotten. At this point it was game over for me Our server noticed I was annoyed and then she gave me this explanation of what had happened, normally I’m like it’s your job?! You work in a service industry however her story was quite something A wedding party came in, no reservations, to do the rehearsal dinner. They didn’t know how many people were going to show up. Through out the course of the evening people were just randomly showing up for the rehearsal dinner from all over the province. Flying in and driving in... all sitting at different tables and wondering around chatting and catching up. All over the restaurant?!? Haha I forgive you Milestones Chaos

Food Poisoning Alert!! Had their Crispy Fish Burger last night and now dealing with an upset stomach... kept me up all night, feeling awful and wanting to puke, ugh... horrible. Also don’t order their margarita, super sweet and watery. Can’t believe this all happened in a place like Milestones. So disappointing... Everyone, DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Family dinner tonight for Mother's day AND our 29th anniversary. When I called for reservations the girl on the phone said " make sure you tell them it's your anniversary, we will give you complimentary dessert" Well we mentioned it to our server and she literally shrugged her shoulders! So we never said anything else about it. Then she /we noticed my husband didn't have a place setting . She said she'd bring him one. Well she brought his salad and still no place setting! He asked her again and she said yes and STILL never brought one! He had to flag down a bus girl to bring him one so he could eat his salad. We ordered the Mother's day pre fix dinner. I ordered the California spring salad to start. It was supposed to have candied pecans in it. There wasn't one. It was tasty but not as advertised! Main course was very good but when it came to the included desserts, choice of cheesecake or chocolate ganache, the pieces were so tiny you could barely see them!! Very very skimpy! So there were enough glitches in our special evening that we will probably think twice about returning. Especially for a celebration. Quite disappointing.

We came in for brunch on a drizzly Sunday morning. We hadn't made reservations in advance, but the wait for a table was minimal and the table we got had great views of the inner harbour. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, and our server, Kossar, was absolutely fantastic. She provided great menu suggestions, was friendly and cheerful, always refilled coffee quickly, and offered a celebratory dessert item when she learned we were celebrating a special milestone event! I would definitely recommend this location, and would not hesitate to return. ????????

We went to milestones opening night! The food was free but drinks weren't and all tips we're going toward building a new playground! What a wonderful cause. Our server was James, he was so informative and super funny!! We shared the goat cheese platter as an appetizer, they made it specially gluten free! My entree was the Mediterranean chicken, the chicken was so moist! And the ganache torte for dessert was absolutely AMAZING! They were really great about keeping items separate so I'd recommend this place for other Celiac's.

I decided to order off of Doordash. I got your California spring salad, butter squash ravioli, and ganache torte. I was so impressed with the quality, even on delivery. It was the most satisfying meal I've had from a restaurant in months.

Had a gift card so decided to go for an anniversary meal. Started a bit weird when the waiter ignored my drink order and started saying that what I really should have was this other thing that wasn't on menu. We thought there was an accent foul-up so repeated the original order, that was when he bothered to mention 'Oh, we're out of that'. Would have avoided confusion from the get-go...Drinks were eventually dropped off at high-speed flyby. Food arrived and was.... fine. The garden burger was about what I'd expect from a cheap takeout, and fries were tasty, but only came with about 8 of them. The really mean portion size was emphasized by the large plate - about 80% empty space. Inattentive service missed the chance to sell us more drinks which had been empty since the long wait for main courses. Cheesecake was good for desert. All in all, it was... ok. The cheesecake didn't make up for the mains, drinks, and service. I didn't run out screaming 'why did we ever go there', but I'd only go back if there was another gift card I had to use.

Cant believe people can say the food is good. They must by their ingredients from wal mart, because the dips taste like tosito made, and the meat taste like compliments frozen burgers. But on top of low quality food, the prices are sky high. Realestate and our waitress gives this restaurant 2 stars. If youre going to price burgers and starters around 15 16$ it should be fresh ground beef and wholesome ingredients.

Had lunch here while returning from Buchardt Gardens on a bus tour. Had sliced prime rib sandwiches and draft beers. The view of the British Columbia Parliament Building and harbor from our window table was worth the experience by itself. The food and service was excellent too. Highly recommend.

The staff were attentive to our large group despite it being a busy night for them, and the food was some of the best restaurant food I've had in awhile. I had my baby with me and they were able to provide a high chair and bring water for his bottle when I needed it. This restaurant has some really fun cocktails and lots of choice on their menu for a special night out. The view of the harbour was a lovely addition to a great meal. This restaurant would be a good choice for a party or date.

I have even been to long Beach lodge and that I thought was the BEST I was so wrong you have to get it.we also got the white chocolate chesee cake. We went for an early dinner, once seated we had a long wait for our drinks, Appy arrived hardly warm within minutes or ordering which seems impossible for it to have been made fresh that fast. 2 of the 3 meals came cold, no heat at all. Ive been here before and had great meals but was very disappointed this time. Server took meals back to be warmed up, unfortunately they came back hardly warm the second time. Very disappointed! Our server was very pleasant understand it wasnt his fault.

Fantastic. Food was sublime and so tasty. Newly renovated as of Feb. 24th 2018 so it's very fancy. Friendly and very fast service. My pint of blue buck was 9 bucks, the appetizers are about 14$ and the entrée are from 15$ to 40$ ish but hey you get a nice fancy dinner in a new style restaurant. Also has a great view of the waters and sails for some tables. Grand Pacific hotel is within view. I will definitely go again

The food is typical Milestones food, quite mediocre. The restaurant is not made for people with accessibility needs, especially the second floor (the only floor that allows for reservation). There is a service elevator that requires you to walk through the kitchen. I wrote to the manager about a huge ordeal we had to go through. I received an apology, but that doesn't make up for the indignity of the lack of accessibility. I'm only giving two stars for the view overlooking the inner harbour.

Friendly staff, great food. We are mostly vegetarian family and the options were great. We had a veggie burger and the butternut squash ravioli, both were delicious. The kitchen cooked a small patty for my son as well for his kids meal (thank you chef and kitchen staff). Everybody was wearing their mask when required, tables were cleaned and disinfected appropriately. Will come back for sure, didn't get a chance to try the salads. In short, the food was average, the service was terrible. Our waitress seemed friendly enough, that's about it. First round of drinks took forever to come to the table. Starter dishes were not removed from our table, just piled up. Our main dishes were served up and had to ask for missing cutlery in order we eat and for the dirty dishes to be removed. All our main meals had cold fries, 5 meals! We ordered more drinks which took forever to come to the table. When my beer arrived, I had forgotten I ordered it. We didn't want dessert or coffee just wanted to get out of the restaurant. Very hard to attract the attention of staff to sort out any problems. Meal came to nearly £200 dollars for a very bad meal. I wont be returning and on the strength of our experience would not recommend to others.

If seniors share meals serve them as half portions on separate plates. Dont just dump an extra plate on the table. We went to the Inner Harbour location with our 2 grandchildren and their parents mid-day on a Saturday. As we had a res there was no wait. The restaurant was a bit busy but they should be able to handle this as they have been in this location for years and it is in the heart of the tourist zone so they should be used to being busy. While we all enjoyed our food, the service was very slow. The children's drinks took a long time to arrive even though we could see them sitting ready at the bar. When the meals came we were given 4 1/2 meals. After a 5 min. or so wait, my soup arrived and we waited about 15 mins. for the final meal to come. When we inquired with the server, she blamed it on the kitchen and said the communication was poor. We told her that was not our problem and to bring meals for the entire table but one was not good service. Once the meal arrived, the manager came over to apologize but again made excuses and blamed it on the kitchen. While she did comp the late arriving salad, it was too little too late for us. Making excuses to the customer is not the way to handle a situation such as this. Being up front, apologizing and doing something about it is. We will not rush back and they have lost customers who live nearby. They need to fix the kitchen.

I went to have lunch here last week with my girlfriends visiting from Vancouver. The experience was great. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We ordered their Garden burger and it was delicious. Though the yam fries on the side was good but it was a bit dry. It was not freshly made judging from the temperature which was not even warm and how much it shrunk. Anyway, the service made up for it. The waiter was friendly. The washroom was clean and well-maintained.

The service was very friendly and quick, without being too fast. The restaurant was modern and clean, with terrific views of the inner harbour, even while seated away from the giant windows. The food was delicious, the presentation appetizing, and the portions generous. The value was very reasonable. In fact, the portions could even have been smaller for the same price. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, and the blackberry bourbon sour was fantastic!

We had a very short time here, so wanted to grab a quick bite. When we walked it, there wasn't many people. We thought it would be quick. From the time we were seated, until someone came to get our order was about 25 minutes. Just as we were about to leave, they came. Very slow service. The food was really good. I had the Korean tacos. Delicious! They give you so much. Hubby got the fish tacos and he loved them. The spinach dip was delicious, and our drinks were great. We had to hunt someone down, yet again, to get our bill. Great food. Terrible service.

This is, for better or worse, a reasonably well run Milestones. You can score particularly nice seats that look out onto the inner harbour and the location itself tends to be very clean. The menu 'fits' the Milestones chain, and so if you're comfortable with their offerings elsewhere in the country then you'll enjoy comparable menu items in Victoria. I don't dislike Milestones, though I can't claim that it's a location I'd independently choose to eat at. The steaks are reasonably well done, and they have an acceptable range of meal and drink options. Prices are a bit high, though you get reasonable quality food. My core issue with eating at this Milestones has been routinely 'fair' service at best. It's not uncommon for a server to just...vanish...for extended periods of time. I don't need (or want!) someone hovering over me while I eat, but it'd be nice to be checked in on periodically. Especially when the table's drinks are getting low. Will I continue to go to Milestones? Sure. Will it be the place that I personally recommend people go downtown? No, probably not. But there are far worse choices to pick from.

The kitchen and waiter were horrible when I went last night. The waiter continuously forgot our drinks and appetizer, we received our appy and meal at the same time but had to send the appy back. The wine and cocktails were brought to us 5 minutes after our food arrived. The prime rib was cold and the fat was already solidified, the steak was so blue and undercooked and when it came back out from the kitchen it was still just as blue and undercooked, along with the Thai plate having what looked like a cup of oil was dumped onto the plate.

Once through unpretentious entrance, the service was attentive and friendly. There appeared to be a team effort with the excellent service, more than the waiter serviced our table. The food excelled the service. Every one of our dishes tasted excellent. From the coconut calamari, the huge salad to the butternut squash ravioli, the sea bass spaghettini . Even the desert was great. Highly recommend this Milestones, and just a short walk across the street from the Empress. Excellent.

Restaurants are so hard to keep people happy. So many things to get right in order to get a 5 star. Ill say this. Last summer we went to the dt location, 9 of us. We were having a good time, food was great and everything. Out of nowhere the light chandelier fell right in our food, broke most dishes and all the glasses. It was everywhere. Immediately we had the manager come over (obviously) but without hesitation comped all our meals and drinks. Offered gift certificates for our next visit, we didn't accept btw. This was already more than enough for us to make things right. Thank you for making us a bunch of return customers.

We arrived without a reservation on a busy Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised to be seated fairly quickly with a beautiful view of the harbor. Food is very good at reasonable prices. The view, food, service and hospitality can't be beat.

The atmosphere was ok the view is great, the location is great, that in my opinion is where anything great ends. The clam chowder is like water. The fish and chips (we had the cod) was way over priced at $19.95. You only get one small piece of fish. There are definitely better options for your money. A local tour guide told us to try the flying otter just down from milestone, but decided to try this. Big mistake. We walked down to the flying otter and looked at there menu and 2 piece Haliut and chips was $24.00. We should have listened to the guide Update..99.9% sure I have food poisoning from this place. Went there for my daughter's birthday dinner on Valentine's Day. Also our first meal in Victoria. Amazing view of the parliament and the wharf.We had booked a table and that was a good decision as it was pretty crowded. Service was excellent. Kids menu had good options. They loved the pasta in cheese sauce. I found the portion sizes really big. Our cousins who live here swear by the spinach dip and root veggie fries. I tried the ginger salmon. My favorite was the spinach dip and the cheesecake! Good ambience.

This is the absolute worst restaurant in Victoria. Location is beautiful, but you go to a restaurant to be served and their service is AWFUL. I recently went there with my girlfriend, thought we’d give it another chance. We were seated, it took 20 mins just to get our drinks, and over hour later our food still hadn’t arrived; while watching all the people around us receive their food it became obvious our server just forgot to put in our order. After sitting there waiting with empty glasses, we finally got ahold of our server who hadn’t visited our table in over a half hour, she was rude and abrupt, she interrupted me when asking kindly if our food was on its way. We ordered calamari, salad and pasta. This isn’t our first time visiting a restaurant. You don’t pay over $150 on a meal to be treated like garbage at a well known local restaurant. We walked up to the bar before our food had arrived, an hour and a half after ordering, paid for our drinks ONLY. And left for a buffet. Screw this place. Waste of time and money. Looks aren’t everything.

I was craving a steak, and since Nautical Nellies wasn't delivering at 7:30 pm, I decided to give Milestones a try. I was hopeful, but very disappointed by the food I received. I ordered spinach and artichoke dip, and an 8 ounce steak with veggies and roasted potatoes, with a side of gravy. The $14.00 spinach dip was plentiful but arrived cold, thin and lacking flavour. I added approx. 2 ounces of sharp cheddar and more spices and then heated it up in the microwave. My steak with roasted potatoes, veggies, and a side of gravy cost $34.50, so I was expecting something decent. The steak was tasty, but was small and the TINY amount of veggies (4 green beans, one small piece of root vegetable, and a small piece of tomato or pepper) and potatoes, and small side of gravy was really disappointing. The steak meal fit onto a small plate the size of a small stove-top burner. I've had much better and bigger steak dinners for the same price elsewhere. Won't order from here again. If I had been at the restaurant itself for a sit down meal, I would've asked to be comped the meal, or requested to order something else. Really unprofessional for delivery service. I mean, come on, you can do better.

Went for dinner with friends and ordered 6oz steak medium well and when the food came the steak was seared on the outside but rare inside. The waitress took it back and when she came back with the replacement it was still only cooked to a slight bit more than rare still bleeding onto my plate. The cook does not seem to know what medium well is for a steak so again it was sent back although the manager did offer to have another one made up my friends we’re almost finished their meals and I would have been just sitting there waiting for the third attempt and then eating while they waited for me to finish I declined the offer. The manager did comp the side Ceasar that I had eaten.

Their portion are HUGE! We ordered a calamari to share, those crispy calamari are amazing with the secret sauce! The truffle mushroom spaghetti is totally what I craving for! I also add on with a salmon. The garlic bread on side is another highlight!! Totally perfect eating with the spaghetti sauce! One of my friend ordered burger and the other friend ordered seafood spaghetti. They also said they are super yummy!

There were no vegan options on the menu but the kitchen was able to prepare a delicious vegan pasta for me and veganize the California salad by omitting the goat cheese. However the first time they accidentally brought me chicken pasta :( Luckily they quickly rectified their mistake. Do you ever feel like a restaurant is trying to cheap out on you? That is how milestones felt to me. I had their salad which said it had avocado but it was like hide and seek trying to find it in the salad. A couple of pecans, two slices of strawberry there was just not enough of the good stuff in the salad. Mostly greens made a good salad on paper very disappointing in reality. We were there twice and similar experience both times.

Had a horrible experience here, prices weren't given to us then they ended up way over priced ($9+ for a glass of beer), then was insulted by the bartender and it took us 25 minutes to pay because the machines don't work properly (the bartender blamed me that my card wouldn't work even though it works everywhere else). Then after 25 minutes, the manager reluctantly paid for my drink. Never going back, horrible service & way overpriced.

Horror of horrors here. Had to walk out and change hotels as a matter of health and safety right down to being able to sleep. Firstly, the rooms are dirty, the cooking utensils both dirty and in need of disposing, the bed was awfully uncomfortable and the sleeping part dangerous (I broke my toe trying to shuffle along to the bathroom). As for the bathroom as the picture will show you, black mold and mouse traps was not advertised in the blurbs. Mouse droppings was noticed in the cutlery draws. Avoid unless you are on a suicide mission.

Milestones is our favourite restaurant when we visit Victoria B.C. At night it is very magical with the view and the food is always delicious and it is a pleasure to dine there. It was my twindaughters birthday and we decided to visit Victoria B.C. for a couple of days and of course dine at Milestones. I had booked a window table for the three of us and everything went according to plan. Except we had to wait a really long time for our main meal nobody approached the table for more drinks and when we were finished we were sitting with our dirty dishes for another long time and no dessert was brought over, what i had ordered for their birthday.I just asked for the bill and mentioned my disappointment. Within a few minutes the Manager came over and apologized and explained there was a big party etc. He looked after both my daughters' meals and i was so impressed by his friendliness that i can only say, that that made the evening right again. The meal was absolutely great etc. but to have a Manager like him running a restaurant is hard to find. We definitely will be back!

Great view, food and service. The Miami Ice is a delightful non alcoholic drink, both desserts are amazingly rich and the food is all nicely spiced. The coconut calamari can be it's own meal with rice, it's very tasty. Their cheesecake is uniquely rich in flavour. The grilled salmon salad is another great dish. They also offer a free starter with a main if you finish a phone survey that takes about 8 mins to take.

Great Food. Great View. Great Staff. The trifecta of restaraunts. The customer service that others only talk about, lives here. Kudos to Marshall who was handling the front desk reservation screen like a scene from Minority Report - handling the incoming customers with a warm welcome and getting them to their tables seamlessly. He even managed to get us in a few minutes earlier than our already noted reservation amidst the action and Without compromise. Corrisa our server was as proficient as she was pleasant. Our questions and requests were her top priority (taking the initiative to ask about allergies). An evening out you usually only wish you can have. And we DID!

Came here for happy hour last week. The happy hour menu did not match the locations online and was waaaaaay smaller. The chicken bites I came for were not available. Bellini was delicious but the spinach dip and chips were absurdly over salted, the chips were just covered. Should have sent back but server was MIA and didn’t end up tracking someone down to make a fuss but it was absolutely disgusting. We were seated right away and it wasn't too loud despite restaurant being full when we arrived. Spot lighting made it odd as it was not directed at the center of the table but instead in my friend's face. Washroom was chaotic with only 2 stalls and not attended to.

Milestones has outstanding quality. This location has a beautiful view of the inner harbour and has plenty of seating. The menu is spectacular and I have tried many different dishes and have never been dissapointed. The hostess accommodated our large group's reservation request at a hard and busy time. We were also very pleased to see a kids menu and kids colouring sheets, as we weren't confident it was too family friendly. Great restaurant, great service. Food below is the Ginger Salmon and the Rhubarb Apple Crumble.

Food was good but was very disappointed they only have plastic to go containers for leftovers. Compostable or recyclable paper containers are easily available so there really isn't an excuse for the one time use plastic, hopefully they change this.

This is a cozy restaurant with a clean upscale vibe. The atmosphere was lovely. We overlooked (from giant windows) many interesting boats on the water just within view of the parliament building in the background. Our server was attentive and punctual with a sweet personality. The food came out hot and had great flavor! There was plenty to eat and we took home leftovers. My husband and I agreed this was an incredible place to dine!

It was Apsoloutely wonderful! All the servers were incredibly nice, especially James. He was so nice and made sure we had the best experience since my cousin, my Granna, and I lived a long way out of Victoria. I highly recommend this place if your visiting the harbor. And the prices are incredible! We ordered around four large meals and desert and our price was around 45 dollars! James definently made the experience so much better, he's incredibly nice and respectful, and the other servers were nice as well. This is definently he best restaurant I've ever been to!

Don't think I will return. Canada Day I understand is a busy time for them however I had reservations. We were sat at our table with no service for drinks and when we finally got service we waited forever just on those drinks. 22 min for drinks is a little confusing for me when you are spending that type of $ , let's talk about the food our children's food 3 orders were sent out first the chicken tenders were super dry but kids don't care about that where was the cutlery? We asked someone 2 grab some waited another 12 min just for it. As my children were finally eating cold food they finished then my wife's food came then mine we all are seperatly. To me this isn't what I would like to call a good night out eating in a well established restaurant.

Went tonight with a group of 8 for a special occasion. We had advance reservations and the staff was aware that there would be a group of that size. The reservation was early (5pm) and the restaurant was only about half full when we arrived, We started with 8 plates of appies for the table, There were a few dishes, the "asian chicken bites" and the "sticky ribs", that were along the lines of a half decent chinese restaurant buffet in terms of quality. We made the grave mistake of ordering the Calamari. What an awful dish. I have had many different styles and types of calamari, but this was truly inedible. The batter tasted like raw cornstarch but the squid tasted like flavourless rubber. After the dissapointing appies, the entire party ordered simple mains with no special requests. 3 people received their food and then another 2 guests received their dishes about 15 minutes afterwards, leaving two guests without food. We asked the server what was going on and when she returned a few minutes later, she informed us that the two dishes had been taken to another table and that a "rush" had been placed on the two late dishes. When the two dishes finally arrived (half an hour after everyone else's meals) one of the dishes (penne) was stone cold in the middle and the other (butternut squash ravioli) was lukewarm while the plate was fiery hot and the edges of the pasta were like plastic (likely due to a possible heating of the dishes with the microwave..?). When we alerted the staff to this, they offered to make another entree for these two guests. However, the rest of the table had long finished eating, making the whole situation very awkward. The server did come after we had all finished and announced that everyone would receive "FREE DESSERTS" which we would have been happy with and even saved the day. However, a man (possibly the manager) came to the head of the table, after we had all already ordered dessert, and informed her that she could only choose 4 of the desserts to be free and we would just have to share them. After all was said and done, the waitress misprinted our bill (over charged my dish by adding sauces/prawns to my steak that I did not order) and we all left with a sour taste in our mouths. This place seems very disorganized and we certainly will not be back anytime soon.

Worst drinks ever during happy hour!! Don't order Bellini or sangrias tastes like juice! We had the same the day before at Cactus club and were excellent compared to these ones. They were gonna charge to fix the drinks or add extra what a joke! Sad to say I was entertaining guests from out of the country that own successful restaurants and they were very disappointed. Never going back and won't recommend. We paid and left, no one cared.

The food is decent and the people watching is great but I have a complaint: they desperately need to set up umbrellas on the patio. It is sunny and hot and when people stop for a break they appreciate some shade. Not having cover from the hot sun is irresponsible. I sat next to the host's station so I could use the only shade and was in a positron to hear almost every person ask is there was a shady table.

We reserved for a dinner out, we chose milestone's as it's usually a consistent and pleasant experience. When we arrived the host directed the hostess to seat us at table 65, which is right next to the kitchen door and in the midst of a few noisy bigger groups. We requested a table change, which was accommodated. We ordered the kale noodle stir fry, they didn't have it. We switched to a chicken dish. The food was decent, the ganache torte used to be served with a caramel sauce and isn't any longer. It was underwhelming. Service was friendly and decently attentive. The room is very noisy, overly so. All in all, I think it'll be a long time before we return.

I can't think of anything positive to say about this restaurant, with the exception of the location. The food is of average to poor quality, and yet incredibly expensive. The service was very poor, and the atmosphere was incredibly noisy. The one thing though that dropped my review from a 2-3 star, down to a 1 star review was that following my experience, I wrote to Milestones corporate office to explain my concerns. It has been a month now, and yet still they don't reply. This sends a clear message to me that customer service is not something that Milestones is concerned with.

Decided to dine here for New Years 2017 because it was the only place that wasn’t booked full, and for good reason. Went with the New Years menu, which included an appetizer, main, dessert, and a glass of champagne for $55. My girlfriend and I both ordered the sirloin with crab and shrimp as a main. She got the Asian chicken bites for her app, and I got the spinach dip with the idea that we’d get to try both. Our apps were brought out one by one, instead of at the same time which lead us to get feel full before our mains even arrived. The chicken was dry in the bites. She ordered medium and it came out medium well, almost zero pink at all, and I ordered medium rare and received a completely rare steak, which made me sick to my stomach to eat. And on top of that, to try and get the steak down we asked for HP sauce, and it took over 10 minutes to get a bottle of it. I never use sauce of any kind, but with the steaks the way they were cooked, it was necessary. I understand that it was New Years, but this was by far the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. I will never eat at this milestones establishment again.

Really disappointed with the steak frites I ordered. The rarity on the meat was good it still tasted like burnt charcoal from having the grill too high I guess. The Asian Chicken Bites we split were way too spicy and way overpriced. 14.75 for an appetizer? No way. The extra star is for the service and atmosphere. Eating with a view of the inner harbour was at least romantic. I just can't see how they justify their prices and I won't be back.
