We've got the reviews of real people like you who bought the products of Lot 1 Pasta Bar (Catering) near Victoria (Canada).
Right now the firm gets a rating of 4.2 over 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is really high, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the score is very faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Catering is included in the category of Italian restaurant.
The service, the food, the ambience all get 10 out of 10. Our large group enjoyed the entire experience!
This place has such awesome food and is a blast to go to. The service is usually really good and the food is to die for. They also have a gluten free pasta as well. Not a bad price for how much you get and i would recomened the full order as its only 4$ more and you get a lot!
I'm not a big fan of Italian pasta. I don't if they are good or not. The restaurant looks neat. The servers are very nice as well.
Nice place, the staff was friendly and professional. Spaghetti noodles were cooked perfect and good quality ingredients all around.
Unfortunately this place is a little hit and miss with the food, sometimes great, sometimes just OK which is a shame as the service is very good. Since I put this review LOT 1 have updated their menu and the food has become much more consistent, well done LOT 1! I have increased me rating from 3 to 5 :)

Delicious fresh made pasta! The portions are so big I always take some home
Amazing experience, Our server Astrid was super friendly and helpful with our menu. Gave us great suggestions on drinks and food, and a great overall experience. Food was great, had the butternut squash tagliatelle, ravioli and the spinach dip!
Incredible dining experience. Visiting from Alberta, my brother in law works in the back and recommended we stop in and try it. Young guy who seated us was very professional and personable (fancy name, can't remember it). Complimentary polenta and breadsticks, which were dangerously good. When time to order, we requested gluten free items, and we were then asked if that was because of allergy or preference. Never been asked that before, quite impressed. Food was hot and fresh, full of vibrant flavor. The drinks were well mixed, great combinations of local ingredients. All in all an amazing culinary experience. I highly recommend stopping in, even if you're local. Well worth it.
Good food . Nice selection of different pastas. Staff is friendly and courteous
Lunch
Excellent food, great atmosphere & service.
Great food big portions
Happy hour :-)
Delicious and serves pretty quick, too. Amazing bolognese.

Great service and good! They just opened up and I've already been several times. And if you're familiar with Bin4's after 9 deal it's the same here. They have great modern pasta dishes and comfy atmosphere
I am very disappointed with the portion size for your ravioli dish. For $19.00 I would expect enough food to fill me up. However since the meal only had 10 pieces of ravioli. I am still pretty hungry . Since we had the order delivered I could not send it back. Our other meal was stuffed to the max and only cost $ 15.00 . I think you should have something on your menu stating it is a small dish.
I ordered an almost-perfect tiramisu the other night. Coming from an Italian bloodline of cooks who have made exquisite delicacies and continue to do so (thank you, mom), I hold tiramisu to a very high standard. The tiramisu made with mascarpone was creamy and fluffy. I however, have some constructive feedback if you are willing to hear them. If so, please do reach out - if not, kindly ignore this request.
Awesome pesto
Highly recommend. Really good food!
Super tasty pasta dishes and good sized portions.
Amazing service and excellent food !!! Would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Half price after 9 is a great deal. They did a take-out order for 26 people and pulled it off flawlessly.
Great pasta love the after 9 half price special!
Generally the breadsticks are amazing, instead this is what you get. Very disappointed.
First time, loved it! Not in a prime location and good views are scarce. So why go? Great food, competent service, nice beverages, and reasonable pricing are excellent reasons. We went on a local promotion and were in rapture. Portions are very generous and we needed doggie bags. My lamb shank was done to perfection, and my wife's Morrocan chicken pasta was equally excellent.
Great food! You won't be disappointed.
Food tastes great.. portions are small .. the ravioli should be much bigger...
Excellent! All our dishes were so good. Nice sized portions. Good selection of drinks as well, that includes the delicious lemonades! Very good customer service. Space is very cool and would be a perfect for a fancy dinner, but is still on Victoria, so it feels friendly and casual too.
Awesome food, and made fresh to order! Veggie friendly, and the pasta is all homemade. Staff are friendly, and even when it's crazy busy, they always make sure you're doing alright. Great spot
First 2 visits were good. Last few take out orders were so terribly bland. Idk what happened but I can do better with some ready made sauce. Plus one star because the staff are always great.
Great service!!
Great pasta selections and super friendly staff!

Delicious pastas, great drinks, and awesome service! I would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back when I can. Try and come for happy hour from 3 - 6pm.
Party of six...first visit...great experience...all will definitely visit again!
Nice selection of pastas. They make their own pasta. Nice restaurant. Big servings. Great prices.
Wonderful space to enjoy a great food. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The service was excellent, friendly and fast. The food was delicious, well served and affordable.
Friendly staff. Great food
Very delicious food I'd recommend and would go back again.
Food isn't the best. I took my mom there on her suggestion. It was affordable. She liked it but I did not.
Amazing food. Amazing staff and half price food with a drink after 9pm
My boyfriend and I experienced terrible customer service at our recent visit to Lot 1 Pasta Bar. We were seated immediately upon arrival (it was only moderately busy). We had our drink orders taken and placed our meal orders once the drinks arrived. Then we proceeded to wait for FORTY MINUTES. Servers wandered around with orders and seemed to ignore us. My boyfriend and I were starving and eventually he went to speak to a hostess, inquiring as to when our meals would be ready. She rushed off and a minute later delivered our dishes. It was obvious they had been sitting for some time - they pasta wasn’t hot and the sauces had soaked to the bottom of the bowl. Although the food was tasty it did not make up for the terrible service and we will NOT be back!!!
Generous helpings of pasta and tastes good!
Service
Sub par food, one dish had been sitting for much longer than the other and was semi warm. Our table service and order was pushed back for online orders to be made up. Didn't finish my food and did not take it home. Won't return as quality lacking.
Amazing pasta dishes!
Lunch
Best pasta around
Went for the after 9:00pm deal, very good pasta, great service, will return.
My favorite pasta place! Great drinks, appies and desserts too!
Dine in
Great new pasta place in Victoria BC.
Service
We stopped in on a Sunday evening for supper and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the BAKED FOUR CHEESE & BACON RIGATONI with chicken, it was excellent. It was heated evenly and was just the right size. We were also comped the PARMESAN POLENTA BITES, they were something we were thinking about ordering so it was a nice surprise, and they were very yummy too. The service was excellent, we’ll be back!
Great house made pasta and original dishes
Good food and venue. Menu is the right size--not too big, not too small. Pasta made fresh in house. Nice interior with a modern design. Service was good.
Meal type
Wow! Honestly really great pasta. We tried two of the ravioli and were really impressed. It looked like a small portion when it came out but ended up being the right amount. Excellent!
Expensive but delicious. Very interesting and amazing flavours. We got the mushroom beef ravioli and the braised beef pasta with wine sauce, parmesan and goat cheese. So filling
The first time I ate here it was great and I was excited about a new pasta place in Victoria. I also live close by so it’s also conveniently located. Unfortunately they took off the chicken mushroom ravioli which was my favorite and I found out it was also one of their best sellers. It’s a real bummer when restaurants make poor decisions on removing popular dishes. Makes no sense to me. That being said, I’ve tried eating there a few more times and have tried most of their dishes between myself and whoever was with me and it’s been a disappointment every time. I will give them 2 stars because of their salads which are great but that’s not the reason I go to a pasta place. Also, way overpriced. Never again
Very good.
Decent pastas, even the vegetarian ones. Service was quite slow as they’re busy. The Ginger Soy Halibut Pappardelle we had today was good but it tasted more like Chinese noodles rather than pasta. The cheesecake was yummy but a bit heavy. Would definitely go back to try more dishes
Better than you would expect. Get the breadsticks!
Great pasta selection, locally made. There late night deal is an awesome must try.
Excellent food, price, and service!
Service leaves something to be desired.
Great pasta at great prices!
Dine in
My sister and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Lot1. We ordered the charcuterie plate and it was superb! The magical pickled vegetables, meat, cheeses and outstanding crostini was delicious. Unfortunately the sage brown butter was lost in the butternut squash pasta which was overall too bland, but the pesto sun-dried tomato pasta had ample chicken. We will definitely be repeat customers. Oh, and our server was sweet and helpful.
The location is great, plenty of parking and the pasta creations are original and delicious! The staff is courteous, friendly and do apologize for the delays, which apparently happen every Friday night. Any other time, your dish takes a reasonable amount of time to prepare, but both times I have gone on a Friday night, it can take at least 45 minutes. Worth the wait? Maybe. I would recommend you check out this place any other time, for a great pasta experience!
Best pasta & breadsticks!!
Fast Friendly Service. Amazing fresh food. Definetely will be going again. Deals after 9pm have lots of options for food and drinks!
Really great pasta. Fresh and unique choices of pasta.
Great gluten free pasta options!
Food was savoury and good atmosphere!
Food is great
Great atmosphere, very nice modern decor and staff were all really nice. The food was great! Caesar salad had a nice kick to it and the chicken parmesan radiatori was amazing. I also tried the blueberry lemonade and I would go back just for one of those.
Wonderful food and service
Was really excited to try this pasta place, however, what I received was 20$ mediocre at best pasta, it lacked both sauce and flavour..... :/
I love when you find a restaurant you haven’t tried before! Great appetizers large enough to share, pasta choices and portions also excellent we brought lots home . Will definitely be back for happy hour where the drinks are appys were a great price.
Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere was perfect!
One of my favourite pasta places in Victoria. Very trendy and a great place to bring a group for some good food, service and beer!
I can get better pasta at a school cafeteria. Seriously, just plain bad.
Really good pasta for a fair price
Very good quality food for a good price!
Really good food and service. My only complaint is my dish came out warm, and my partner's came out steaming hot. They just need to work on their timing in the kitchen. However, I ordered the December pasta special and it was amazing!
Really nice place and delicious food. Lots of veggie and gluten free options are available. It's just a bit pricey for pasta, even though they do make it gourmet and special. Actually my gluten free pasta was a bit mushy... But the butternut squash sauce they have is very unique and interesting. Personally I like Bin4 better for the value and quality. Maybe if Lot 1 had half price nights I would go back again.
This pasta place knows what’s up!
Lovely experience, friendly staff, good quantities, and delicious food.
Service and food where awesome!!!
The food and services was on point..
Had dinner there for my first time ! Let me say the pasta was terrible . It tasted like canned sauce no flavour at all and the noodles in no way tasted fresh ..not sure about that . Also after only eating half our meal and leaving about 20 or so minutes later felt sick! Gut wrenching stomach ache and all the fun things that came with that .. Stay away from this place !
Fantastic food and device. I always lobe to come here for lunch.
Amazing food, decent prices, friendly and attentive staff, cannot wait to go back
Tasty
Great Pasta! Unassuming location from the outside but you really do step into a different world when you go in. Service was good!
Potato was good. But don't take pasta here, tomato sauce is tasteless, dishes are overpriced
Hoisin pork belly bucatini was excellent, along with the roasted broccolini.
Lunch
We ordered for take out and the pastas were absolutly delicious! THANK YOU for having gluten free noodles!!
Great food, great staff!
Great fresh pasta. Awesome food and service.
Fresh homemade pasta! Enough said. Interesting industrial interior, fresh fruit sangria- Italian done right. Helpful friendly service as well.
What a great find. Very attentive staff and very good pasta and salads.
The squash ravioli is fantastic
Delicious
I had the maple butternut squash pasta and the truffle mushroom flatbread. It was amazing and one of the better pasta places I've been to. The service was out of this world! Overall 5/5
The food and service was excellent!
Great food, great service, kid friendly.
Came in today March 24, 2018 at 6pm ordered the braised beef radiatori, pasta are hard, tasteless and sauce is like a thickened beef broth. Paid 20 dollars for food I didn’t enjoy and didn’t even finish it. Asked the server La Prairie to just toss it and she didn’t even ask why. Liked the place but this is the worst service I’ve got!
The pasta taste decent but for a pasta bar I expected that they could have done better and elavate the menu a bit more. The pizza was ok; we had the pesto & bacon. I will go back to this place for the reasonable price, overall good pasta, and easy parking. The drinks were thirst crunch but ceasor was ok.
The food is good and once you get seated, the service is good. However, actually getting seated requires the staff to be more organized than they actually are. It's a very, very noisy environment and I wouldn't recommend it for a quiet dinner, especially if you are with someone you want to have a conversation with.
I just tried this a few weeks ago and it was so delicious. Full of flavor, great option, friendly host, great price. We ordered out and maybe next time we can enjoy our meal inside the restaurant. Thanks again
Some of the best restaurant pasta I have ever had! Just the correct portion sizes, left feeling satisfied but not bloated. If you're a pasta lover this is the place to eat. Service was also amazing as well. Our server Connor helped us with recommendations on the menu and when I left our leftovers behind on the table he ran out with them to the parking lot to give them back to us!
Wide selection of delicious scratch made pasta. Reasonable prices. Generous portions.
Innovative recipes that work I had the Moroccan chicken ,it was spiced perfectly. The waitress was friendly and professional. An all around enjoyable experience
What a pleasant surprise! we came to this restaurant on a rainy week night, without too many expectations, and the experience was terrific! The venue is nice and modern, the service is super friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. We ordered some suppli to share, the pesto chicken radiatori and the braised beef campanelle. All was delicious, with the beef campanelle being our favorite. For dessert we ordered the white chocolate brownie and was delicious too (it could be improved with a ice cream ball though!). We will come back for sure
It was alright
Decent food and good prices excellent service!
Got sick from the pasta.
Yumm
A fantastic pasta bar with a lot of options. Also has a good dessert menu.
Whoa so good. I'm drooling thinking about it. Like SO good. Try their soups too. Perfect lunch specials that will not disappoint your taste buds or your wallet.
Not really impressed with this place! Being a weekend the place was average busy so we got our a table within minutes . Me and my Girlfriend both wanted to go for some drinks so we choose to go here. We ordered two cocktails and a ceaser from the drink and nothing tasted good at all. ceasers were just so bland and with no flavour at all . The other two cocktails were just iced water with basil leaf in it, Nothing else. We also ordered a dessert which was alright but so very less in quantity . The parmesan truffle frites were sooo dark felt like half of them were burnt or over cooked. Service was alright , just not great . Not sure If i will visit this place again.
food is flavourless. tried a large majority of what’s on the menu and it’s all the same. lack of protein if it’s even in the dish, and lack of flavour. not impressed:/
Nice place to chill and have some great food !!!
One of the best pasta restaurant in town.
After eating here recently I have to say I was generally disappointed. The servers, and manager were accommodating and attentive. The appetizer (meted brie) was great, and we had high hopes for the main courses. That's when things went downhill. We ordered a pesto chicken pasta, which was flat and bland. Who's ever heard of a bland pesto dish!? The second pasta was a tomato chorizo dish. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauce was also bland. I think almost anything from a jar would have been better. The third was a ravioli in butter sauce, which tasted only like butter. I like the idea of this place, the decor was nice, service was good....but if you have a pasta restaurant, you have to serve good pasta. for the $17 full portions we ordered, we could have gone to Zambris. I will likely give them another shot at some point,as I love for them to succeed.
First time to Lot 1 but won't be the last! We went in after 9pm for the late night 50% off pasta if you purchase a drink (doesn'thave to be alcoholic). Was not disappointed it was delicious and a great deal! We had the Prawn Carbonara and Moroccan Chicken.
Consistent quality and good prices. Always a good experience and very accommodating for dairy and gluten free dietary restrictions. Great atmosphere for date night of a family dinner.
The food is great, but I don't like being rushed out the door. They were taking away the salad plates before we all were finished. Then we were still eating dinner and she wanted to know who is paying the bill.sadly dessert wasn't even offered.
Great pasta every time.
Lunch time l like,
Nice upscale-ish pasta/bar. Enjoyed the recommended truffled mushroom flatbread and the casual atmosphere.
When you order vegan and they put chicken in your dinner. Very disappointed that this happened, I feel sick to my stomach.
Great place for pasta and a really nice atmosphere
Love the pasta here. Server was very informative about what to order and all their pasta are hand made. I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.
Ordered on Skip. The food was delicious. The only thing we were dissatisfied with was the very sad portion size for both the coconut lime and pecan cheesecake desserts, especially considering the cost. Not worth it. Salad and pasta was perfect though!
I'd like to give this place a higher rating but I just can't. Victoria has so many wonderful and unique restaurants that it's hard to give full marks to a place like this. The ownership is the same as bin 4 which makes me want to rate it higher... But it kind of falls flat. It's not bad, but there are far better places in Victoria
Really good pasta. Huge fake eyelashes on the waitresses.
I have never had a bad meal here and the service staff are outstanding! This place is an example of how a restaurant should be run. I always enjoy coming here.
Dinner
Love this place, has lots of different options
Outstanding appetizers and pasta dishes full of flavour, huge portions and seasoned to perfection. Along with a great bar, lovely ambiance and a good wine list, a perfect place for lunch or dinner. Service was excellent. Easy parking, and great prices. Not much more you can ask for from your local pasta bar.
Awesome
What a delight!! I enjoyed the pasta very much. The arenchini were great and the cocktail was phenomenal ???? will definitely be back!
Great place. Excellent staff. Great service. Delicious food. Enjoyed a fun filled evening.
What a gem of a place- awesome food and drink and Staff!
Like bin 4 this place has delicious food and excellent customer service. The small plates are a decent size but definitely aren't a meal. If you are doing a late night thing and you are really hungry then bin 4 is a better deal. But if you really want amazing pasta then just get an appetiser too.
More like Lot MINUS 1 haha cause the parking lot was pretty small. but it had both pasta and a bar - 4 stars
Delicious Pasta and fresh lemonade! Enjoyed my pasta there. If you're a fan of Bin 4 and you love pasta, check this place out.
We had a good impression at the first time of our visit, however, we noticed that the food we ordered was a smaller portion.
Ordered the Baked Brie to start and then the Prawn Carbonara for myself and the Braised Beef Campanelle. The Baked Brie came with a great variety of spreads. The jam was particularly good. Both pastas tasted very good. Since it's pasta they are very filling. The pastas are made in house which is neat. The Braised Beef Campanelle is a more saucy pasta and is especially good on a cold day. Would definitely come back again. One recommendation is to have size options for pastas.
From the moment I got there, the server was rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional.
I just had pasta here, it was amazing!
Great inexpensive pasta with a relaxed vibe
My husband took me here a few years ago and I love it! We go to Lot 1 whenever we are in Victoria. Usually we order the deep fried raviolis to start. Even tho the carbonara is not made the traditional way it is still delicious and my favourite thing to order.
Good gluten free options
Amazing dishes, low lights give a nice atmosphere!
I'm not a big fan of Italian pasta. I don't if they are good or not. The restaurant looks neat. The servers are very nice as well.
Terrible. We decided on this place for dinner with a couple friends to get some pasta and appy's as are backup plan since are original spot was closed tonight. Everything was bad from the beginning. As a person who is in the industry myself (9+ years), i know the standards. We were sat down and didn't get acknowledged from a server for at least 15min. The place was not busy. We ordered a few appetizers to share between the 4 of us, half of it arrived stone cold after waiting 25 min, and the rest arrived about 10 min later. We had to flag down are server because weren't giving any cutlery or side plates to eat with. My partner and I knew what we wanted for our mains so we went ahead and ordered, but our friends needed a few more mins to decide, did not hear back from are server to ask again about the mains until our mains arrived. Our friends decided to pass on mains since the wait time was probably going to be just as long to get theirs. I ordered the seafood pasta and my partner got the four cheese rigatoni both were extremely bland. Server never asked us how our food was. Never offered a second round of drinks when they were empty, we had to flag down our server once again to get some service. Passed on dessert and went somewhere else. Will not be coming back.
Great lunch specials for only 13 bucks
Excellent if you like pasta dishes, beer, wine and friendly, attentive staff. Suitable for family dining.
Such delicious fresh pasta
Really tasty pasta and a delicious sangria. And both were also beautiful to look at too, great presentation. Friendly staff. We couldn't believe it wasn't busier.
Amazing food and great service
Amazing food! Their pesto chicken radiatori is my favorite with rich pesto and fennel and chock-full of sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Now this place is going to be my post gym eating joint with my boyfriend. ???? Also want to add that this is the only place my children will eat and not get sick of the menu. They have their own favorite dishes to order but it's not the kid's menu because they have sophisticated palates.
Delicious pasta. Will certainly come back
Service is great but I believe the portion got smaller but the food is alway's great the dessert was even better
Pasta is very good. Lots of yummy options. Wish the the braked brie came with a little more brie.
Good food and service
Really good pasta and tea
The menu has just been redone and I am not as much of a fan. Fewer options on the late night menu for pasta but now there are also flatbreads. A really nice late night date place. Lot 1 is one of the best places for modifications though. They always do their best to cater to whatever you need or like.
Delicious ravioli and blue cheese salad. Definitely going back.
Fantastic taste, value and service.
Dan and his team always provide the best food and the best service. Will be returning again soon!
Staff was very considerate and the pasta was unique and tasty. Nice place for a date.
Very good food - monthly specials, good size portions. Order large only if really really hungry.
Absolute ripoff. Owners should feel ashamed for what yhet give in exchange for insane amounts of money.
Amazing staff, great food, needs more protein in the food though when ordering meat dishes etc.
Lots of pasta there, go figure...
This was my first time dining here,my daughter had taken us for dinner, long story short if you want a great Italian meal without breaking the bank this place is a must great food (all pasta is made in house)favorite dish with some great twist waeygu beef spaghetti and meatballs, you get the picture . All staff were friendly and and very efficient with a good knowledge of the menu,so treat yourself ,you won't be sorry
Awesome home made pasta. Small bowl was just right for me with an app, well seasoned. Apple rhubarb turnover dessert is to die for. dessert
We attended with company of 6. Started out ok with seating and drinks and proceeded downhill from there. We got the salads and breadsticks after a long wait which were both good. Not really busy but waiting forever for our main and had to listen to a screeming kid for about 2 hours. When we got our meals, mine and my friends was not served with champanelle noodles and was very bland...not Moroccan at all. Not sure the sub noodle was made in house as they claim and was like a fat macaroni. Coffee took forever as did our dessert and the waitress was going to check if they had plain ice cream and did not return. Mostly up set about the service and how the manager did not handle the screaming kid...the parents are another story. We will not be returning...very disappointing.
If you love pasta.. it's a good restaurant to go to.
I’m not able to review the food because we didn’t get any, but I was quite put off by the way we were treated last night. We wanted to order takeout, so we stopped in to order but we were told we would be waiting an hour for our food because they were so busy. Then they told us that if we sat at the bar and ate there that we would get our food much faster, because they have to prioritize in-house guests. Well then what were we? Were we not in-house guests waiting for takeout? Could they not have put our meals in the the same priority as in-house guests? We considered sitting at the bar, ordering, then asking for a box right away, but we decided to go somewhere that actually wanted our business and made our takeout meals in a reasonable amount of time. That was an absolutely horrible customer service move and I hope they will rethink that in the future. In-house guests are in-house guests, even if they want to sit and wait for takeout.
Delicious pasta, always great. The dine in service was slow due to a lot of take out and the waitress only did a mediocre job with serving, barely minimal. But good to see a good amount of business given the pandemic. Do not to sit in the back, the delivery people open and close the door all evening which is disruptive and cold. I would recommend take out or somewhere else.
Lunch
I would have given a higher rating up until our last visit. We were there Monday March 26, 2018. They were pretty busy. I already knew what I had in mind to order ahead of time, as I am a frequent customer of Lot 1. Got seated right away, browsed the menu only to find that what I wanted to order had been nixed off the menu! Both, deep fried raviolis and their amazing lemon chicken dish, gone! It was extremely disappointing. Our server apologized for their change in menu. The kitchen staff must have been backed up because the food took much longer then usual. Our server was fantastic, ensuring she checked on us regularly and apologized for the wait on the food. Yes, I will be back. Although I have to say extremely disappointed in the decision to change the menu. Additions to the menu could have been made rather then remove some muchly enjoyed dishes. As well you may want to consider some extra staff in the kitchen to avoid backup on the food. Kudos to our server though! Top notch service from her (I wish I could remember her name). Sincerely, A loyal customer
Enjoyed my pasta there. If you're a fan of Bin 4 and you love pasta, check this place out.
I had a salad that had dried apricots thrown on top and a "carbonara" that tasted like dry leftover noodles with hardly anything on it. My friend's dish was good though. I learned after that there was an after 9 deal that would probably make it more worth it.
Simple Italian pasta and side dishes, but made well. Good service.
I was visiting Victoria for the weekend with my family and we wanted to try Lot 1 for the first time. AMAZING food, aroma and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Dominic served us and he was really nice… did an amazing job!
Three of us has lunch on a Saturday, all three had different dishes and all were rated as great. The lunch specials were super reasonable in price, the staff delightful. First time but will be back.
LOVE this spot! Haven't had a single issue here. Food is always spot on and service is incredible.
Good food. Take out order was ready within the time frame I was provided. Very tasty. Kids menu available too
Omg the food is soooo fresh!! Lovely
Hard to beat!
Yes we read all of the review here and Yelp to find a good Italian restaurant that was opened during Christmas Eve lunch. It was pretty disappointing. Flat bread was thin and burnt! I was expecting the same texture as the Cactus club or Joey flatbread but it was more cracker like? It was edible for the nice flavour of garlic. Pasta was bland as pointed out by others here. The flavour seemed tasty only if there was more sauce with added salt. The restaurant didn’t have that many people so burnt bread or under seasoned pasta should not be an excuse.
Great variety of pasta, and a gluten free option. Quick service.
Just brilliant food. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and while busy and understandably a bit slow, great customer service. I'll be back here as often as possible.
Bring your family here. It's slightly above average at best.
Every meal I have had here has been good.
Best pasta I've ever eaten. Try the carbonara!
Delicious fresh pasta.
poor dining experience, the noodle was uncooked. Also the order took like 40 minutes.
Great pasta and service
Edit for 2019: I'm not sure if ownership changed but I can no longer recommend this place. They have changed their menu to be heavier on the appetizers, and when I ordered spaghetti bolognese, the sauce was lackluster and the noodles were way overcooked. Extremely disappointing, being that my review below was true at the time. There's no place better for pasta, no contest. It's perfectly cooked every time, with great texture. Their sauces are delicious and creative, with enough options to satisfy whatever flavour you're craving. One of my favourites has Dijon mustard, which I'd never think to add to a pasta sauce. Also check out their features, including desserts which are just as good quality as their pastas. January 2018 featured a blueberry cheesecake parfait and I'd have any cheesecake they make again in a heartbeat. Great eats!
Late night menu is a great value and perfect for late nights at work. Awesome service, great food and wine!
If you find yourself in Victoria BC you really need to try this place. Great food great service.
Delicious food! I had the siracha prawn bucatini. It was perfect. The atmosphere is great. Very cool place. I will be back very soon!
Recently, I ordered for delivery, and foods were amazing. Before COVID-19 hits, I dropped into this place several times, and every time I was so satisfies with their great pasta dishes. Highly recommend to try here!
Great place, very aesthetically pleasing. Very friendly staff, food is delicious, absolutely no issues, love it, and would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
We treated a neighbour to a meal at Lot 1 as we had been talking about it so much. We are all huge Bin 4 Fans so we were all hyped up. Absolutely loved the ambiance and the servers were excellent. Kelly was our server and she was very attentive. If you have the name Pasta Bar in your title, you have to nail the Pasta! We ordered 3 full portion starters, a huge salad and three full pasta meals. Our disappointment was that we were just starting our appetizers when the pasta arrived and luckily Kelly realized that it was overwhelming trying to eat that fast. She offered to take the pasta back so that we could relax and savour the first course. The calamari was such a small portion that the server herself said "I will return this". The prawns with sausage was tasty and plentiful. The wontons were hugely overcooked and dry. The one ravioli dish was tasty, but clearly all the pastas had been sitting under a heat lamp while we were finishing our starters and had become "baked" and therefore dryish. The prawn carbonara while okay had no resemblance to carbonara where you can taste bacon and egg. Where was the egg? The prawns were slightly overcooked, but the pasta was only warm. My husband said his bolognese was good. Value for money this was not a satisfying meal and trust me I wanted to be a fan as I love how these owners operate Bin 4 Burgers. Pasta has to be treated with care and love. Please please tell me you will improve on this as Victoria needs you!
Picked up for takeout. Ordered the Butternut Squash Campanelle with added chicken, the Pesto Chicken Radiatori and the Polenta Fries. Flavour of pasta dishes was good but nothing special, definitely underwhelming for a pasta bar. Polenta fries were quite tasty, though.
I had the prawn carbonara and it was EXCELLENT! Perfectly cooked shrimp and amazing pasta.
Excellent pasta and large portions .Always enjoyable.
Parking: lots and free Location: Easy to find Restaurant Decor: Modern look, Clean Service: Excellent Food: Pasta was underwhelming...I think it was number 56. Anyway, it was very oily and the cheese had plastic smell and taste to it. number 41 was just a mix mash of random stuff that just did not bring anything to the overall flavour. Bread sticks were outsourced but still was not anything special. I think they overcooked ours because it was rock hard. Is the name of the store that it comes from suppose to make it better? For pasta and bread, I think other restaurants does a better job i.e.II Terrazzo, Pagliacci. Price: Not worth it for the amount of food you get. Small pasta and salad was kids size. I mean even Il Terrazzo, Pagliacci and Old Spaghetti Factory gave you free bread as an appy but here you have to pay for it...and it wasn't even good. The restaurants I mentioned above are priced better for what you get. I really want to like this pasta bar but the dishes here is just trying to hard to be different. Maybe in a few years I will re-review and see if this place still warrant an average rating. Last of all, why are you handing out paper customer surveys without pen or pencil? Do I have to pay for that too?
Really great unique menu items. Christmas dinner lasagne was amazing!
Such good pasta. The sides are and appies are awesome.
Best Pasta hands down!
Decent portions, yummy salads and pasta!
Great servers
Wide selection of delicious scratch made pasta. Reasonable prices. Generous portions.
I was having lunch with a couple of co-workers, last week. I ordered my favorite salad. I was only about 1/3 of the way through my salad when I found dried up, crusty food, stuck to the inside of my bowl. I was immediately turned off. The manager came by, and offered me another salad. I declined, as I was just not hungry any more and I didn't the time to spare. I was advised it would be on the house, and that they were going to make me a fresh one to go! I was very pleased by this, until I arrived home and opened my salad. Now, I've ordered MANY of these salads as take-out, as it is usually my Saturday treat to myself. I know what it is supposed to entail. Generally, fresh lettuce along with goat cheese, pine nuts, and beets. Dressing in a container on top of this. The "FRESH" salad I received was pre-dressed ( so, soggy by the time I got around to it) and all of the "toppings" were buried on the bottom of the container under the lettuce. It was like they took a salad that was ready to go, and simply plopped it upside down into my container. Was this actually a fresh one? I don't think so. I believe they gave me back my original salad. My co-workers, and I were pretty upset. Sorry Lot 1. I hoped for better. Service was great, but c'mon... I'm a regular (was). Not a newbie.
Great lunch specials, food very good and well presented
Beautiful restaurant with a great food, amazing atmosphere and great service! Dominic was very knowledgeable & friendly. Will recommend Lot1 any time ????????
Was my go to place for good pasta and drinks for late night. Just found out they recently raised their prices so the deal isn't as good anymore. Not sure we'll be going back any time soon. I love pastas and felt like it was a great place to eat for late night but with their prices being quite a bit higher I don't think it's worth going there on a regular basis anymore.
Fresh homemade pasta. Breadsticks are awesome
Great food and service !
I have been there 3 times and always had great food and service
I believe they have a great idea here - fresh made pasta is awesome. But I think that the prices are a little too high for pasta dishes (I can understand why the competition - Pagliacci's - prices are the way they are, they are established with their flavours and offer unlimited bread!) But with Lot1, all you get is the pasta - not even a little bread stick on the side to soak up the delicious sauce after (If you want bread sticks, you can pay for them though). They were really receptive to comments about seasoning, and the service was great! I just think a little over priced
Nice atmosphere, best pasta I've had, awesome late night special (half-price small plates)
I've eaten here twice. The first time I had the pesto chicken radiatori. That was very tasty, but lacked seasoning-- had to add a decent amount of salt to the dish. The second time (last night) I had the ricotta and tomato campanelle. I unfortunately had the most bland, tasteless pasta with no seasoning what so ever. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, because I've heard wonderful things about the food, but both experiences are leaving me feeling pretty neutral about it. It's frfindefin not hotribke, but I wouldn't say it's at the top of my list of go to restaurants..
I don't like writing negative reviews, but we were very disappointed unfortunately. It was quite busy when we went, so the service was just average, as expected. Our food, (the bolognese and the fennel sausage special pasta) was very bland and tasteless. I won't be returning :(
My wife and I (both 33) decided to have an early dinner with our 1 year old. We dont get out much these days so it was going to be a treat. Granted it's BC liquor laws I guess - but when asked for id my wife didnt have her wallet and was …
Excellent food, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere. A short walk from Mayfair Shopping Centre.
Awesome!
Service
Delicious food! I had the siracha prawn bucatini. It was perfect. The atmosphere is great. Very cool place. I will be back very soon!
Menu with good variety and new taste options.
My wife and I (both 33) decided to have an early dinner with our 1 year old. We dont get out much these days so it was going to be a treat. Granted it's BC liquor laws I guess - but when asked for id my wife didnt have her wallet and was only able to produce a digital copy of ID. She was subsequently denied a drink. Look, I get it. She should have had id. But we in no way do we look remotely close to 19 and it ruined our night and experience. That combined with the pasta quality seemingly worse each visit I'd have a hard time going back.
Delicious pasta
Ordered pasta and got a lot of black pepper... Lol
All types pasta dishes. Lunch specials is a good start $13 includes beverage or pop. Very generous serving. Finally chocolate mousse dessert & a light splash of cream with strawberry sauce.
Excellent Indian Cuisine and friendly and courteous staff! Best in town!
Pasta! Go for their late night specials.
I had the Fennel Sausage Tagliatelle. It was tremendous, wonderful flavour of the pasta sauce and sausage with the occasional burst of pickeled fennel. It is the Special for March, highly recommended. The service was excellent, Tori, thank you for taking such good care of us.
First time at Lot 1 today and the food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. We both had the seafood tagliatelle which was piping hot and there were lots of mussels and prawns as well as a rich sauce. We will be back and tell our friends and family to try the Lot 1 Pasta Bar also.
Their food was to die for! Highly recommend the bread sticks!
House made pasta, gluten free option for pasta. Wonderful salads and wine selection. Decadent and comforting desserts. Best lunch deal in the city!
Awesome polenta fries! Great lunch menu too.
Good pasta, definitely recommend the baked bree
Really great pasta. And the staff were extremely helpful. If you like pasta go after 9 and get the late night special. The extremely delicious sangrias are perfects combo with a small pasta dish.
Great homemade pasta!
I ordered the chicken and mushroom ravioli. ...the BEST I've ever tasted. However the rest of my party weren't as happy with theirs. Add cloth napkins and it would bump the atmosphere up a star.
Great food a bit rich but really good. Nice service
Lot 1 is a superb choice for pasta. They have loads of delicious options and are more than willing to adjust the menu to make most items vegetarian.
Fun modern room..great service..8.5 out of 10 food..
Good service. A nice selection of pastas and pizza.
Dinner
Whatever this place was before is no longer. Dishes here have become bland, so much so it feels like they have ingridience shortage. not sure if it's because it's different owner now but most certainly different chef. I highly recommend the owner to try your own rasturant food and think hard, on is it honestly better than some food court pastas out there. two stars for decent deserts.
Just ordered delivery from here tonight. Got the large bolognaise and I didn't think it was going to be so spicy! Was hoping to taste the different blends of meat a bit more and the fried basil instead of mostly pepper. It's still enjoyable just not what I was expecting. I would say it's medium spice so if you're not into sweating a bit while eating you should pass! I will be trying here again for a better idea of the place but so far it was over spiced.
I am a pretty huge fan of bin4 so was pretty excited to try this place it being from the same creators. But I found it to be pretty middle of the road. Maybe other dishes are better but the Moroccan chicken pasta didn't have the flavor punch I was hoping for. It's not a bad place by any means, but my expectations were so high from the bin 4 perspective I was a little let down. I'd go back if I was around the area and didn't want a burger.
Fresh pasta made daily. If you visit after 9 and order a drink you can order 1-2 small entrées half price. After 9pm, wine is also half off. Great service and setup very nicely.
Very good, We have the lunch special, a good value and the pasta was savory and good. Staff is very friendly and efficient
Lots of great food, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere!
Service was good but the food was meh...I was here three days ago and the place was packed (usually a good sign). Now let me start off by saying that after reading reviews a lot of people have written about bad service but our waitress was actually fine and we had okay service. Now when it comes to the food that was a whole different story. I guess my expectations walking into this place were set a little to high because I expected a fresh plate of homemade pasta with a more than average flavour when in reality I got a bowl of something that I can only imagine wasn't homemade pasta mixed in with a sauce that was bland and flavourless....the strongest thing in the dish were the jalapeno's ( I had the four cheese rigatoni btw) and the worst part about the night wasn't the blandness of the dish but the fact that after i got home lets just say the dish didn't treat me or my friends bowels politely. Overall I can say the service was good but the dishes were meh and with our experience I will probably go back but not anytime soon.
If you like overcooked, floppy broccoli, this is the place... Sigh.
Good pasta. .. occasionally a long wait, but worth it. The seating is comfortable but the low hung lighting on the back wall can be a bit uncomfortable on the eyes. Attractive servers. Just as can be expected from the typical trendy restaurants with high server turn over. Prices are good. I -love- the option to order small or large of everything. Practical. Great choice of hand made non-alcoholic drinks to give you some choice when alcohol is not desired. Family friendly. Draws a diverse but largely youthful crowd. Lots of parking. Its a must try when pasta is on mind. I challenge the chef to explore and create more regional pasta dishes from the Mediterranean. Lot 1 approaches authentic european pasta better than most places, but theres room to be a little more daring. I like that they recognize thr North American pasta ignorance and fully describe the noodles on the menu. Bravo. Not sure why its called a pasta "bar" though.... Pasta and bars dont go hand in hand. Lot 1 is Not a bar. Bars are up on your feet and active, specializing in expensive drinks and mediocre food. Lounges are laidback and slow, fsmous for even fancier drinks in a quieter environment. Lot 1 is not a bar or a lounge either.. its a restaurant. But that term restaurant seems to have aged itself out of existence. bars are trendy. Lounges snazzy. I get it, but its a little inauthentic. If it does the trick and attracts new guests, by all means. The food is definately worth tasting. I like that the menu is focused on a favourite of mine. As a lover of great pasta, im always up for lot 1... Though it has nothing to do with the name. BIN 4 and Lot 1 suggest an industrial enterprise in wine or cheese, or some other finely crafted imported or exported aged product. Perhaps thats why the name, as unusual as is it is, sticks to mind. It conjures an image that unfortunately doesnt quite match the environment. Yet, its a name that sticks to mind and that's critical. Lot 1 suggests that they are in the pasta making business in an industrial kind of way. With enough success, perhaps they will be. Could cases of locally crafted semolina nooodles be hand crafted just on the other side of the wall? Might trendy little bags of dried lot 1 pasta noodles be found at the local grocer? The name inspires a lofty enterprising goal, much like a specialty coffee roaster. Care will need to be taken with each dish, day after day, to keep this restaurant on the rise. I do insist that they are missing a barrista at the bar, fine european pastry and a coffee menu. Canolli and cappacino should be routine after a half order penne.
Really nice pasta there. Beautiful design of the restaurant
Meal type
Great place and amazing food. Would give 5-star, but chef made error and forgot to put shrimp on pasta. Advised server, who immediately advised kitchen. Server was great.
Yummy
I have given Lot 1 Pasta bar 3 tries. The first time I went it was ok, pasta was a little over cooked. Second time again pasta was just big pile of dough the flavours didn’t go well together either. The 3rd time it was so undercooked it was crunchy. I don’t think I will be giving it another try. If you want a good pasta dish you probably don’t want to go to Lot 1 Pasta bar.
Love the pasta, and love the environment.
The food is mediocre at best. I wouldn’t have gone back after the first time, but my friend’s Birthday was being hosted there. Super slow service this time too. Another guest at our table had to send back her watered down alcoholic drink and watery pasta.
The service was prompt professional and the food was very good.
I've been going to lot 1 since opening day! Pasta is always piping hot and fresh, and the cocktails are amazing! Excellent for large groups with reservation. Highly recommend the milk and cookies!
I had a great time! The service was professional and prompt and the atmosphere is pleasant. I had the seafood tagliatelle and my boyfriend had the pork belly bucatini. We tried bites of each other's pastas and we loved both of the dishes we ordered. You can taste the freshness and the pasta is made in house. We both got the large portion and it was a lot of food. After 9pm the small size pastas go half price with purchase of a drink so I believe I will try that deal soon. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other pastas they have to offer plus keeping a keen eye on the monthly specials.

Fabulous food and Great Servive wish we had one in Abbotsford BC
Such great pasta at a medium price. Service was super friendly, and the menu has plenty of different flavors for whatever mood you're in. I went with a traditional 4 cheese rigatoni and LOVED it. The bacon was incredible. I'll definitely be back again with hopefully the same experience next time!
Owned by same outfit that runs the Bin 4 restaurants. Fabulous salads. Porkbelly is great.
I dont really like the new menu. My usual is no longer for discount on late night. Plus the orders are minimum 9 dollars. And... They still don't even serve garlic bread... What kinda of pasts place doesn't serve garlic bread?
We were too busy enjoying our visit to Victoria area when we realized how late we had left it to eat. A search for "nearby Italian" turned up Lot 1. How lucky we were! Great food (perfectly satisfying, but not the place mind you if you expect to dine & then walk out along with tomorrow's lunch in a styrofoam box!). Imaginative menu items. Open kitchen. Modern cocktail bar/eatery vibe. Comfortable space without being either congested or too big. Our server was pleasantly friendly and helpful. Good effort with a fresh concept. You probably wouldn't bring your granny but it's not noisy so a quiet, or dare we say intimate, conversation is not difficult! Based on our experience worth a 5* visit!
Tried the cheese pasta and absolutely loved it. My friend also had a Asian style pasta dish and was probably the best pork belly I've ever eaten. Can't remember what another friend got, but the dish was pretty bland. Ended up splitting my dish with his. Portions are pretty big as well. 4.5/5
Stop reading this and go. Delicious! Get the prawn appetizer.
Delicious pasta, and salads! Friendly staff, and great atmosphere!
Delicious food, with a wide assortment of options and the ability to make any meal vegetarian. Prices are medium low, good for the quality of food, and service was excellent.
The food is alright. I never feel I get my monies worth though.
Great food and service!
We've stopped here several times. It's always delicious and affordable, a go to place for lunch when in Victoria.
Friendly staff - they were quick to greet and serve us. We went after 9pm and they had a late night deal you get 9$ pasta or flatbread with the purchase of the drink and also 5$ appys! What I like about the late night menu is that although it is a limited menu there are still a ton of options. For an appetizer we ordered the polenta fries to share (between two people) they were wow probably the best non potato fry I’ve tried. So crispy and cheesy wowow they were served with a spicy tomato sauce which paired perfectly with the fry in my opinion. For the pasta I was torn between the butternut squash cannelloni and the chicken pesto radiatori - I went with the chicken pesto diss and it was so good. Lots of sauce and meaty cheese and parm on top! 10/10 would recommend, although I will try the cannelloni next time I visit. For a drink I had the vodka strawberry lemonade. It was made with vodka, a strawberry simple syrup, and lemon juice with little frozen strawberries floating around. It was perfectly tart and not too sweet, very easy to drink and you could probably have more than one. So all in all it was a wonderful experience and very affordable late at night - definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
For pasta it is very good. For late night, it is not that amazing compared to their other restaurant, Bin 4, a hamburger joint.
Great food, Italian with a west coast twist
I like this place, cozy atmosphere, nice servers, consistent quality.
Go after 9pm for the late night special: half off from any small pasta dish when you purchase a drink. Every single one of their pastas is absolutely incredible, even thought I never had a dessert from there that I liked. But I keep my hopes up since every month they have different pasta, drink and dessert specials. Easily one of my Top 10 favorite restaurants in Victoria!
They changed the menu since I've last been there and it's not as good as it once was. Before I would always order the butternut squash pasta, but since the menu change it tastes significantly different and not for the better. It was a bit disappointing because the waitress said before we ordered that it was essentially the same pasta but it was actually a different type of pasta used in the recipe and I couldn't taste any of the squash anymore. With that said we had another lady talk to us a bit about why they changed the menu and tried to correct it with us which I think we all really appreciated seeing that kind of effort.
I LOVE their parmesan garlic crispy friench fries.
Swift and efficient service. Staff were all very nice and attentive, and food was delicious!
Service matched food which is always a good thing
Delicious pasta! Seriously.
I can make a better carbonara at home with my eyes closed. Honestly probably the worst pasta I’ve ever gotten at a pasta restaurant. The noodles were overdone, flavours were just ok. And for $18, along with a glass of house wine for $12.5 which should be $8 at most - I’ll definitely never go back. Service was awesome though - unfortunately it got a bit lost by the negative.
Food is SO good, service is always fast and excellent and staff are very accommodating.
Great food, service and atmosphere .
I liked the design of the place, and the food was fine. It was a bit pricier than it deserves in my opinion.
I love this place, so sad it doesn't exist in Montreal. Would eat here all the time. The pasta was great and it's so cute how it comes in little take out boxes!
6 of us went for lunch. Everyone loved their pasta. It's a bit expensive but the pasta is made there and is fresh. Sauces were excellent. Even the small portion size choice was enough for 6 big dudes.
Decent pasta. Great deal after 9pm with the half price pasta with a drink. Similar to bin 4’s deal as it’s the same owners. They recently got rid of my favorite pasta unfortunately. But I can still find things I like. Breadsticks are great though, and come with a delicious sauce. I always have to get them. Check it out if you’re in the area.
This 4 course $30 "Dine Around" was a gem. It started with their signature bread and sundried tomato dip, very tasty. For the second course she had polenta fries which was unusual but a hit in my book. I had the crispy proschito salad which was great too. For the mains we had the Braised Lamb Shank. It was strange not to have pasta in one of their meals, but the mashed potatoes and veg more then made up for it. It was very filling and I could not eat it all even though the meat and sauce were delicious. Rare to see Lamb at this price. My partner who normally does not choose the vegetarian option but found the butternut squash campanelli delicious. For the desert there were no options but the truffles. They were good, but not as tasty as their usual options. However, we were full by this point so did not mind. Lot 1 is always a solid choice and the dine around menu makes a good time to try them out.
Service was not bad. The food was however disappointing. They try to be too sophisticated and the result is odd pasta combinations which just don't work.
The half hour wait for a table was closer to an hour and the service was really slow once we got seated. Our appetizer showed up several minutes before our drinks that were ordered at the same time. The pork belly appetizer was absolutely fantastic, and was served with some of the best pickled vegetables I've ever had. Too bad the main course wasn't as exciting. It wasn't bad by any means just not something I'd go through all the effort of waiting for again. The portions were huge and we both left with a sizable lunch for the next day. We had to wait for what felt like forever to get the server to box up our order and bring us the bill. I probably wouldn't go back here again, next time I'll either go to Bin4 or Pagliaccis.
Overall a good place to eat. But the pasta itself was very underwhelming for my first and only visit. I found the taste of the pasta fairly bland. Although the portion size is great I found myself thinking I could have done better at home. My bolognese dish was pretty standard but I was really let down by the parmesan that accompanied the dish. Even though it probably was one of the better powdered parms it has a very cheap taste to it. Stars are for the location, parking atmosphere and portion size.
Great food. Great service. Very responsive to feedback, if people take the time to leave it. Sure the prices are "high for pasta", but so is the quality over the cheaper pasta....can't have both, or we'd all be driving Teslas ;)
Would not eat here again even if it was free. Ordered out and the food was bland. Ordered one of their pastas, requested cream sauce and extra parmesan but seems like they gave us less. Save your money and make better pasta at home!!!!!
Great selection of pasta. Had the siracha prawn which was fantastic. Great breadsticks, friendly service. Staff was very considerate of allergy concerns and knowledgable about the menu.
Better for fans of Boston pizza than fans of Italian food
Attentive and friendly service. Small but well priced wine list and 50% off on wine Wednesdays must be pretty much cost. Breadsticks are addictive. Salad was fresh and a generous size. Lamb shank was perfectly cooked and amazingly delicious. Chicken pasta was ok (interesting for a pasta place that this was the one thing that didn't totally impress us). Dessert of chocolate truffles was impressive and decedent. Will be back soon.
Good meal, good service and good food at reasonable price. Lunch special is a really good deal.
Good food, enjoyable ambiance.
Great place for pasta. Sometimes I find the meal a bit under seasoned which leaves the food a bit bland
Service was good, most of the food was good (with the exception of one pasta dish) and the restaurant looked good. I will try it again!
Not bad, not great. Some worthy pastas. I didn't mint it, but I wouldn't go out if my way for it.
Was alright, pasta was a bit bland, mussels were good though.
My favourite pasta to eat
Amazing service and food ????????????????
The best after 9 deal ever! It used to be better with $5 breadsticks (to die for) but I still appreciate a half off pasta!
Our food was great and Ethan is a fantastic server!
Love this place! Not just pasta and pizza - their sangria is amazing, apples are extremely tasty and their staff are super friendly.
Excellent food with great prices and portion sizes. Fantastic ambiance. This place never disappoints.
I enjoyed the flavours of lot 12 (butternut squash rigatoni) and the portion size was perfect for lunch (I had the small), I was just hoping for a bit more out of the house made pasta. The service too was great!
The food tasted great and pasta were home made. Staff were good. But the serving size for the prize is a bit way too small. $13 for a "kiddie" (I call it) size small bowl of pasta. So it's a bit pricey considering the size of serving.
Food and staff are very good excellent service
Was really excited to try this pasta place, however, what I received was 20$ mediocre at best pasta, it lacked both sauce and flavour..... :/
Good food, and decent prices for what you get. They have some unique styles of pasta I've never seen before. Really good place to go out with your friends. They have large tables for groups and the atmosphere is great.
Delicious appetizers and pastas, nice decor, the service was good, mains were quite slow to come out (could've been an off night), and a wine menu on the smaller side but with options that pair well with the food.
Amazing pasta with good flavors aand a diverse menu! The atmosphere is also great and the service is exceptional!
Ordered online with SkiptheDishes. Overall wonderful pasta decent portion sizes (other people might think they are smaller) but this more of healthier comfort food. They forgot one of the pasta dishes and was amazing for customer service went out of their way to personally drop off the missing item and something extra. Would order again and tell others!
The only time worth going is after 9 PM when their late night deal begins. Their pastas aren't worth paying full price, and there are few options even on the full menu. Flavors are odd, but not bad. I had heard good things about their Moroccan Chicken pasta, but to me it just seemed like it would have been better off as as rice dish.
Great pasta bar. Like bin 4 (same owner), they have great special after 9pm. Half price small size pastas. Atmosphere is modern and fancy too.
Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fresh pasta
Dine in
The polenta fries were to die for. And the pasta equally as good
Food was Okay. Presentation left a little to be desired. Portion was good. For the style of restaurant I expected a bit more in their presentation. Dessert menu is very small. If you are allergic to chocolate like my friend is, there is nothing.
Great food and service
First time at Lot one , figured we would give it a try. The place is laid out well and looks nice . Had the daily soup and it was good , also had shared the salad and it was nice . The pasta on the other hand was terrible, we had the bolognese pasta and it was so tasteless I couldn't believe it . I figured a pasta restaurant could not possibly get it wrong... I wont be returning, Victoria has much better options for pasta save your money. Also the service is incredibly slow, seems they where running shorthanded and this is during the week.
We enjoyed ourselves immensly in this trendy spot. Very friendly efficient staff and excellent selection of pasta. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and portions were just the perfect amount. I couldnt praise the bread and side dishes more...we will be back!
Great food, Great staff, and very considerate of families.
Excellent food! The bread sticks with sun dried tomato pesto is a must try!
goid idea but waited over an hour for food and it wasn't fresh when it arrived. Hopefully this isn't a common occurrence
Bread sticks are absolutely amazing.
Love the pasta ????????
Grate food
Excellent fresh pasta creatively prepared. My only complaint is the menu favours heavy or creamy sauces. If you're looking for a light bite stick to the salads. The mango salad was delish
Some other items on the menu would make it better
One of my favorite places to get my pasta fix! Great menu and friendly staff
Can’t go wrong with the freshness and unique flavours of Lot 1’s pasta. On top of that, show up for their late night deal for half price small pasta dishes and half price wine on tap! I’ve never had to wait in line at this place.
Food ok
Going downhill. The last two takeout meals I've had were very disappointing and I haven't been back since I discovered a cm of grease/oil in the bottom of my takeout box. My meal was either microwaved or it had separated and it was gross. The staff are good and I used to really enjoy the dishes but the quality has just not been there in recent months.
If you love pasta check this place out!!
Awesome food and service
(Translated) Good taste, pre-meal bread is super delicious and can be renewed, business is good (Original) 口味不錯,餐前麵包超級好吃,還能續盤,生意很好
great veggie side dishes ! good variety of flavourful pastas !
As per usual, food and service awesome!
The food was delicious and the service was good but it was rather slow despite having a reservation for a large group the kitchen wasn’t prepared to serve us in a timely fashion.
The ambience, warm and friendly staff and delicious food. Been here thrice and same standard
Dine in
Highly recommended! Tasty, generous portions and excellent prices. Good service.
Dine in
Is it worth going to this place if one has allergies to garlic and onions? Or would I just be wasting my time??? 1 star for now.....more if I can order those without and go there enjoying my time. ???????????????
Great food quick service
Decent food...decent prices...nice atmosphere.
????
From the owners of Bin 4, or so I am told. Delicious house made pasta and friendly service. They have the same late night special as Bin 4.
So much food! I had the $25 dinner option and it was more than I can handle. I eat a lot xD
Good food, but their timing was terrible , I felt very rushed, and app had just hit my and 2 mins later my main was there, didn't get to enjoy my experience l.
Nice location and atmosphere. We visited on NYE, which may have impact the visit. Food was ok at best. Felt it was over priced for what it was. When you see a restaurant that specializes in one thing, you expect it to be phenomenal, we were disappointed and left feeling ripped off. Portions were small by comparison of price in other restaurants. But for a pasta bar, it was diner quality. We just expected more from the name and that was probably our fault. However, if the pasta was phenomenal like we expected, then we would have happily paid the bill because it would have been earned. But quality doesn't meet the cost. Maybe we will try again at some point just in case.
Pasta was delicious and service was great
The decor of the restaurant was very modern and it looked like it would be a great location to accommodate a largish party, and the service was excellent! Where the experience lacked for me was in the food. I had the bread sticks which were made by a 3rd party which were amazing. However for my main entrée I had the walnut and prawn pesto linguine which was the special for August, I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the flavours presented to me, for a pesto there was no basil it was simply a green sauce and my pasta was soaking in olive oil. Overall my experience was tarnished by a lackluster pasta.
I don't make it to many new places as I am a true creature of habit. However my Lumberworld sales guy met me here for lunch and I had the spaghetti carbonara. It was very tasty. The other thing I liked was the decor - whoever designed this interior has impeccable taste as the restaurant is stunning to look at. So good food, nice atmosphere go check it out, you will not be disappointed...
The only good thing there was the manager
Cute space, friendly staff and good food and pretty good value. I reccomend the pesto chicken pasta and the mushroom flatbread, the Moroccan chicken pasta was pretty disappointing though, bland and dry. Everything other than that was great!
Great food and wine. Delicious pasta!
The food and the service were both amazing. It can get pretty busy though so reservations are a good idea. They also have late night deals after 9pm where small pastas are half price with purchase of a drink. Glasses of house wine are half off too.
We visited Lot 1 Pasta Bar for the first time in March, 2017. While the restaurant is noisy, the food was fantastic and the half- portions greatly appreciated.
The restaurant is a great size where it doesn't get too noisy, and the food is fantastic! Delicious right from the moment you get your drinks until the last bite of dessert, right before you roll yourself out to your car :) did I mention they have generous portions?!
They have pretty good plates of different things. I like the taste and we have gone already three times. We will come back
Again, another lovely Dine Around 2020 menu!!
This is such a good little stop. House made pasta that is reasonably priced and monthly features. There is often little or no wait because it is located too far from the city to pair with activities and isn't easily walkable from the areas of town where people want food at this price point. Their loss is my (and maybe your) gain. Keep being a great deal, Lot1.
Great food! Wish they had gluten free ravioli though!
Service
Friendly service and tasty food. Its a weird location tho. Nice to have fresh made pasta and the sauces are pretty good. The bread sticks are also good but way overpriced.
Food is always good. My favourite is the lot 56.
First time visitors and we love it. Fantastic meal.
The food, layout and service was excellent. Tori was my server and she was great. I’ll be back.
great food. love the lunch specials
Great food and friendly staff, amazing chocolate dessert
8 bucks for 5 burnt peices of hard flavourless breadsticks. For me and my wife to eat cost almost 60 bucks, which is fine but the food was incredibly average. tasted like if burger king started making pastas, was ok but your immediately bored with it and wishing you wouldve ordered from somewhere else. thats all.
Amazing pasta, prices are higher, but the portion size are worth it and the service is great.
Three of us ordered from the "dine-around" menu. Generous portions, tasty and great service. An enjoyable evening.
This place is fantastic. It exceeded the high expectations I arrived with from all the glowing recommendations I heard from friends. The atmosphere is trendy, staff are friendly and helpful, the menu is easy to comprehend, and the hours it is open are great. Our experience: We ordered the monthly appetizer special of lemongrass and chicken wontons with a sweet chili hoisin sauce. I am not one for spice so I was stunned by this dish being the first dish with a bite to wholly compel me to eat it for how incredible it was. The balance between heat and sweet and the way the lemongrass left a delicious lingering aroma in the mouth... superb. We also tried their breadsticks - soft, savory and lovely presentation. I tried their grapefruit and basil spritzer, this was another delightful winner. The bitter and sweet blended wondrously. For the main course we tried Lot 65 and Lot 39 respectively. Both were beautiful and delicious. For my order, Lot 65, the pork was savory and warm but the cilantro atop it took that flavor and really opened it up. It was like stepping onto a country field in summer at sunset. The noodles were hearty and absorbed the flavor of the sauce very well. The dish also maintained a fresh-off-the-stove temperature the entire meal. We splurged and tried one each of this month's dessert options. In a word = stunning. Visually each was a delight and every bite from first to last was divine. Who knew chocolate chip cookies could have such class while still evoking every happy childhood memory all at once. By the time we sampled the third dessert my companion was teary with joy. What an experience! Overall I can say that I have not experienced food of this high quality since I last dined at a 4 star restaurant. This place is that good. Yet the prices are on par with local venues like White Spot or Red Robin - I am so impressed! I left feeling proud of every dollar I spent, it was worth every bit. When I say the employees were helpful, I mean from the moment we stepped through the door they were gracious and attentive. I was dehydrated when we arrived so they got me some water while we waited for an open table. Next they took note of my allergy to goat cheese and ensured to cook my food away from dishes being cooked with it. Also, our server had noted we were hoping to have the cheesecake after our meal so when she saw there were only two left in the back she immediately came out and double checked with us if we still wanted that order and put it in before they were gone. Now, I mentioned an allergy so I will note that many of the menu options contain goat cheese, so please double check your order if you share that sensitivity. Another note should be made that because this place is so good, it is packed. This means it is typical to experience a wait upwards of 30 minutes and a slow pace to dining but not unreasonably slow. Consider making a reservation if you know ahead of time you would like to dine here.
Love lot 1, fantastic staff and delicious drinks and pasta. My go to spot for pasta in Victoria.
Appetizers were amazing but pasta was too authentic for me!
The audacity to reduce the brie by half and keep the pieces of bread the same and charge 15 dollars for this joke of a "share" item in their "to share" section. Im not returning here ever again.
Meal type
Nice vibe. Server was great. Decent selection of pasta dishes and good prices. Really good happy hour prices.
If you like Pasta I recommend Lot 1 very pleasant staff a great dining experience.
Best pasta in victoria
I order from here all the time !! it's always delicious, and the perfect restaurant for the fall weather. Lastly, I would definitely recommend the baked 4-cheese rigatoni.
Dine in
Delicious fresh pasta and every sauce is made fresh everyday. Reasonably priced and good size portions. Lots of variety. I would like them to bring back the half portion option for seniors.
Worth a try
Best pasta in town
Nice place to go. Portions good size. Very flavourful. Went there after a baseball game. Walked out stuffed and happy :)
Changing my review; I've ordered take-out here often but things seem to have changed a bit - Kids menu clearly says "price includes one kid's beverage" but I was told this is only for eat-in and not take-out. I was told a manger would clarify and a second person told me the same thing. Poor customer service to lose a whole take-out order over a couple of juice boxes.
Excellent service and fun and relaxed atmosphere with my favourite dish
Breadsticks amazing. Pasta just ok...it was underdone, and far to much bacon, which over-powered the carbonara.
Fantastic
Great pasta, nice spot, great servers, wonderful atmosphere.
Good food. Take out order was ready within the time frame I was provided. Very tasty. Kids menu available too
This place is a must stop . killer food huge portions and after 9 half price .
Sweet Jesus, the pasta is amazing! Fresh made every day is the reason why. Love the ingredients, portions, and service.
Food was on time and delicious, no hairs and no wait time. Perfectly kind and helpful staff that even played along with a goofy bit my friend and I were doing! Not too ritzy but still a quality joint.
Went today at 4, and had an fantastic meal with my fiance. The bolognese was fantastic; whenever I'm feeling lazy I'm coming here for pasta. Delicious!
Our dinners were excellent. Our server, Michelle, was outstanding. Dessert ???? was so delicious. This was our third visit and we will be back with guests.
Food was good and exceptionally tasty. However I will give this place 3 stars because I was VERY disappointed with the portion size of the cannelloni. At $15 for a veggie dish, I was expecting at least a bit more food. Perhaps ordering takeout had something to do with it versus eating in.
Dinning in is good. But paying nearly 20 dollars for close to 3 bucks of pasta is a bit ludicrous. Don't order out.
Amazing pasta. I had a pasta emergency 2 minutes before they closed and they still were able to make me my dish. Great restaurant
Lauren La Prairie, I suggest asking for her if looking for a genuine experience because she clearly doesn't make you feel like she's dying to get out of that place, will put in a real effort to know her regular guests on a personal/professional level. She deserves a raise and her own theme song when she walks in the building.
Great service with a smile, hot food, good portions, and well priced for the quality and flavours. All together LOT 1 is a fantastic place to eat that has modern decor, and a great atmosphere. Whether it's a private meeting or a family get together, I know you will not be dissatisfied.
I ordered a Carbonara pasta and it was awesome. There are different types of pastas, sauces for you to choose. They waitress are friendly and it was an awesome place for gathering. The parking lot is just in front of the restaurant, and it will be convenient to go if you drive
(Translated) Delicious food, great flavors and good quantities. (Original) Heerlijk gegeten, geweldige smaken en goede hoeveelheden.
Huge Portions, super-tasty bite after bite. Enough for lunch tomorrow too. My co-workers will be jealous, and I won't be sharing ;) We'll be back. Lots of other things to choose from next time!
Went for the first time today. Nibble of parmesan bites with a cold frosted pint of beer. I had the happy hour mussels which were delicious. Partner had prawn carbonara that he said was great. Really nice atmosphere. Great happy hour. Food was delish and service was spot on. We will definitely go back!
Amazing location for a nice date night, ambiance is romantic and food is great. Pasta cooked Al dente but lacks a bit of flavor in all honesty, first few bits are great but it gets a bit boring after. For delivery, perhaps undercook the pasta slightly so when the boxed in steamy pasta arrives it doesn’t get all mushy.
$$$$too much
The classic pasta dishes like carbonara and bolognese just don't taste like they're supposed to. Go with the other pasta dishes instead. The salads are OK and the breadsticks (though not made in-house) are great. Friendly service.
The Pesto Chicken is so good!
Dinner
First time at Lot 1 Pasta Bar it was delicious! Attentive, friendly service. They were absolutely swamped with take-out orders but we still got our food quickly and even received a complimentary appetizer ????
Meal type
Huge portions. Great service Went for dine around 2021. I contacted ahead to see if my dietary needs could be accommodated and they did so with no hesitation. Thank you! First up, their standard bread sticks - I can’t eat those but hubby said nice and fresh. Our starters were the roasted beets and polenta fries. The beets were good, pretty standard roasted beets. The polenta fries, hubby said were pretty greasy but still good. Our pasta dishes were the butternut squash and bolognese. Mine, the butternut squash campanelle was good, rich and satisfying. Hubby enjoyed his as well, a fresh tomato sauce made the dish. Pretty standard pasta joint food. The other dishes served around us looked and smelled great too. Huge amount of food! Suggestion to go for a carb load!
Awesome service, tasty food.
This place has very good freshly made pasta. The truffle parmesan fries and polenta fries are an excellent starter. The crispy prosciutto salad is excellent. We had several excellent pastas. Bree was very helpful and attentive.
Amazing hand made pasta
Decent but not fanatic pasta. Serving sizes are pretty generous and they have a pretty nice local beer selection. We found the small size as enough for a meal. Same folks that run bin 4 burgers own this place so the feel is similar if you've been to bin 4.
Excellent pasta, love the late night special
So delicious!
Amazing. I highly recommend to anyone. GREAT prices. Good food. And a amazing atmosphere.
It's okay. The best thing my dining companion could say was "well, it wasn't awful"
Service
Good fresh pasta, friendly staff
Great spot for yummy Italian. Good value with great service!
Great place, awesome food
Simple and tasty. Great place for dining out as a last minute plan.
Best pasta I have ever had!
Great food
Service
This is one of my favourite Italian restaurants ever. We were treated to complimentary parmesan polenta bites that came with a delicious mairnara sauce. The beef carpacio totally blew my away. I couldn't stop eating it. The pastas were perfect. Great portions for very fair prices and packed so much flavour. The dessert, cranberry lemon mousse packed so so much flavour and was unique. Something you don't see everyday! I also got a 0 proof drink and it was so delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere is warm and inviting and service is prompt and professional. This really was just a perfect dining experience for myself and my sweetheart and we will definitely be back again.
Been twice they have anazing food. Great place to take your sweety.
This has got to be the most disappointing experience i ever had with any restaurant. I used to think of it as a gem, with great food. On Monday, April 5th 2021, I went to pick up an order I phoned in. I got home and opened the box to find literal pubic (or otherwise curly) hair, impressive in its quantity, throughout at least one of two boxes. This is so absolutely disgusting, especially since someone in their kitchen at around 6pm felt like they could treat people so poorly. They offered to have the food remade, as if I could ever stomach it again. Some kind of legal ramifications are what this place deserves.
Good gluten free and regular pasta. Fast service and friendly staff. Lot 16 with chicken substitute was yummy but the sauce was a little light for my tastes. On the downside, almost all off the sauces have a cream base.
Always good food. They eliminated the half order option now tho so I dunno...
How good? REALLY good. Too bad they're not open late. I would order this very often instead of late night pizza. But is late night pasta any better? Probably not but so very good. Big portions, very filling and the white chocolate brownie is like nothing I've ever had before. Nice comfortable place to dine-in too. 10 out 10 across the board.
Seems overrated, appetizers are super mid, 4 cheese rigatoni is literally just Mac and cheese with mushrooms.
SO SO SO GOOD! Unbelievable!
Update: While I am going to leave my original review posted I would like to add the manager contacted me based on the review left on the comment card, my concerns were acknowledged and dealt with which I really do appreciate! I will be visiting Lot 1 again! It was hard to decide how many stars to give for this review - the food was AMAZING but the service was not great. First I asked the server about a certain red wine and she openly admitted she had no knowledge of wine and thought maybe it was good, with working in a restaurant that boasts about its wine selection is would be nice if servers had some knowledge. She brought the wine and never followed up to see if I liked it or not, it wasn't until my friend asked me in front of her if I liked my wine, which I did not, she did then offer to bring me a new glass which I appreciated. We ordered our appetizers which seemed to take forever but not as long as our meals took. First we were told that there were issues in the kitchen and that our meals were taking longer than usual. Then after waiting almost an hour she came back to tell us she didn't properly enter our meals and she had just put them in so they would be about 7 min. We were having a great time chatting so while this wasn't a huge deal we were quite hungry but understanding. Our drinks were not tended to very well either. We thought for sure that after waiting that long for our meal and having the server openly admit she did not enter them properly that we would be compensated in some way - which we weren't. Overall we had a great time but had I been there for a family dinner with my kids it would have been a disaster waiting that long! And I was surprised that other than a "thanks for understanding" we all paid full price!
Excellent pasta, great service and quick.
Decided to dine in. Food was sub-par. I ordered the rigatoni with 4 cheeses... mostly pasta with hardly any cheese. Very bland. Not impressed. For the price I expected so much more. Will not order from there again. There are too many Italian places in Victoria doing it right that there is no reason to settle for less.
Fun pasta. Good style.
More a 3.5 star. Prices are very reasonable with very large portions. Service was average. Pasta was a little overcooked past al dente. Cannelloni was great. Mushroom and beef ravioli was not great. There was a flavour (thyme? Rosemary?) that was too strong. Crispy prosciutto salad was perfectly dressed, but too much prosciutto bits (see photos). Lots of parking and nice atmosphere.
Great pasta! Really like the half portion options and the monthly specials give you a chance to try something different.
Pretty tasty pasta. There’s a 50% off deal after 9pm that would make their food a great value (if you fancy eating pasta that late in the evening). I believe it’s the same owners as Bin 4 burger lounge, which also has a 50% off sea after 9pm). I had the four cheese pasta which was pretty tasty, but might not be for you if you don’t like jalapeño peppers (not sure if it’s made ahead in large quantities or not, so I’m not sure if they can make it without). The deep fried ravioli was pretty good too, especially the tomato sauce it’s served on.
One of my favorite places to go and grab some great pasta! So many options to choose from! They are a fully licensed restaurant, for all you people looking for a local watering hole. Every month they feature a different salad, pasta and dessert and they are always great!
Excellent salads, home made pasta, service and specials! We will be back!
Good food, good service!
Staff is very helpful, food comes out fast and is very good quality.
Very delicious, fresh food! Amy was great as well
Awesome pastas and polenta fries. Good deals for lunch and after 9pm!
Decent food at at decent price. Surprised it's not busier and the late night isn't as popular as Bin4, but it's still good.
Great pasta, always good local beer on tap, service is extraordinary.
???????? such a great resturant
Excellent food and service. Definite recommendation.
Wow Wow Wow!! I had the prawn carbonara and it was fantastic!! The Blackberry Cheese cake was maybe the best I have ever had. Well done in putting this restaurant together. It will be around for a long time just like the Bin 4 restaurants.
❤❤❤???? they have me coming back for more pasta they made it the way i like it
Love it here. They are doing a great job with COVID measures. Great social distancing between tables, servers wearing masks and even seats outside if you don't feel comfortable inside. The food is great and dependable with wonderful staff. Highly recommend.
Service was good and food was quick.
Really well done food.
Amazing food and amazing stop they are great can't say enough about it wish I could eat it everyday that's how good it is there
Good food
Ridiculously good food and value. Nondescript strip mall on the corner of Cloverdale and Blanchard. We ordered the beet and pecan salad with prawns, Bolognese pasta (radiator pasta) and polenta fries. All tasted great (12/10), portions were substantial, and the ingredients appeared super fresh and high quality. All in all, this is a totally underappreciated restaurant.
Really good pasta bowls with seasonal changes to the menu. You can often design your own bowl with various styles of pastas and sauces. Some great salad choices as well. Staff is friendly snd knowledgeable.
Really great unique menu items. Christmas dinner lasagne was amazing!
Well here's the thing, Lot 1 is a good idea cuz Victoria needs a good pasta place. The problem is we have a few of those already. The focus of Lot 1 is to make unique pastas with home made noodles and ingredients, but that's where the good idea stops and where it goes all wrong. Home made noodles. Good idea, and very tasty. Sauces and meats that have a unique flavour and stand out. No. Their menu is spread with fancy language and splashes of Italian 'foodie' words but it lacks content and a foundation of real classic pastas that they can then build on. They have a selection of what I would call designer pastas that try to capture what I can best describe is a bizarre selection of new age takes on classic meal ideas. We ordered a Small Short Rib pasta and a Small Ravioli dish that in all fairness were actually rather good. So what's the big problem?? Right? The pasta was tasty and we were both filled up, but here is the stand out problem. Both dishes cost $12 (each) for a very small meal; for meals that by all accounts were AT MOST worth $9 per meal. The portion size was laughable for the cost of the dish; for example the Ravioli dish had a total of 7 pieces of Ravioli in a cream sauce that was approximately 4 fl Oz. On the other hand the Short Rib dish consisted of 1.5 cups of pasta and 1/2 of a cup of pulled Short Rib along with onion and far too much garlic. Would you pay $12 for each dish? No, you would expect a lot more food, or a much smaller price. The look of the restaurant is modern with clean lines, a sterile atmosphere and furnishings that scream westcoast hipster ikea. It is geared toward a fancy meal in a place that suggests that the food is as worthy as the $1000 light fixtures, but if your going to build a restaurant like that, you should be serving hand crafted burgers or a wider array of meals like high quality steaks and valuable rare ingredients. Then the meals would be quality and fairly priced. Unfortunately, that's where Lot 1 falls seriously short. Handmade pasta is essentially very low cost on the food preparation scale, and it doesn't take too long to make either. With respect to the attempt made by the owners, this restaurant misses the essence of what a pasta restaurant truly is. A warm homely atmosphere that welcomes you like an old Italian home, big meals full of flavour both modern and traditional and inexpensive homemade food that leaves you thinking about how amazing your meal was and planning the next time you go back. Instead we got a sterile, over-modernized interior with food that wasn't worth the cost. This was truly dissapointing, and I don't plan on paying for food that doesn't justify the prices. I don't like downing local business, but in this case Lot 1 may be popular in the onset and opening but I don't see people like myself going back for seconds.
Really good! Maybe a bit heavy on spicey dishes but very tasty with big portions.
Still good but old menu was way better...
The food was OK, the service was average. This establishment is more for the younger crowd. There is nothing really wrong with this place butI will not be going there again.
Friendly service. Good food
Awesome food, atmosphere, and great service.
Have been wanting to check this place out since it opened last year, finally made it a couple weeks ago - wow! Hubby had the Bolonese and I had the Chrizo with gf penne! We both talked about it for days afterwards! Awesome food, great service and reasonable price! We actually loved it so much, we went again past Friday! Actually, going again today to try lunch! Highly recommend!
Fast service. Great food
Good prices, good food, good service.
Dine in
Staff was very friendly, but kitchen managed to add bacon to a vegetarians meal who very clearly stated "No bacon, I'm a vegetarian"
Gluten free menu available
Great service and food!
Pasta sometimes is over sauced. Great breadsticks!
Great made fresh daily pasta.
Excellent food with great prices and portion sizes. Fantastic ambiance. This place never disappoints.
Outstanding food and vibe, all for half the cost of a place like the Keg. Couldn't have been happier with our experience
Great food, presentation and service. 100% will be going back and recommend. (Don't wait in a line up for the burger joint close by)
I have been many times since they opened over a year ago. The bolognese is still the best pasta option on the menu with a good helping of meat sauce and makes for great leftovers. The restaurant always has fresh, local ingredients which makes their salads really good. I will note that the pastas with white sauces (like the carbonara) are quite heavy. The servers are friendly and the space is nice. It's not usually full when I have gone so walk-ins have been sat right away. I would still recommend going if you're looking for a slightly fancier night out that won't break the bank. They also have a decent selection of alcohol. They are owned by the same owners as Bin 4 Burger Lounge.
High Quality Pastas, Amazing location and perfect restaurant to Dine In - they know how to treat customers ????????
Lots of gluten free options. Never had a reaction from cross contamination here. It is my favourite place to get take out. I order often!
Unique
Came her on a date with my girl and really enjoyed the pasta! The server was very friendly. Would highly reccomend to go!
Something happened. Went downhill, probably won't come back too often.
Went to lot 1 pasta bar three times and had some pasta each time and each ones tasty increasable great food and good service.
Fabulous environment, food was amazing. Will return very soon!
A little disappointed their menu had gotten smaller. The pasta is fantastic
Meal type
The butternut squash rigatoni is amazing!! I get it every time. Such a wonderful array of colours and flavours. Prices and service are very decent.

Great food, try the beets as a side!
Bread sticks are a must!
Great food! You can tell the pasta is made in house, it's amazing! Servers are always pleasant and quick. I've been here several times, and it's always a pleasure.
Really good! Anticipate leftovers!
I'd give it a 4.5. For the price it's well worth it. Two pastas and drinks for just $20. Definitely one of our favourite places to eat in Victoria!
The first few times we ordered it wasn’t bad, not great, but not bad. Since then it’s gone downhill. I wish I could post a picture, my plate was swimming in oil. Another beef dish was very bland. Last time.
