I came here about a year ago. Food was pretty good but a bit pricey. My biggest complaint is that they charged us for tea. Unless it's dim sum and you're asking for special tea, tea shouldn't cost anything. Go to any Chinese restaurant in the world and they don't charge for tea.

My boyfriend had placed an order through Skip for our food, he had the deep fried squid and we shared the wonton soup, chow mein and mushroom chop suey. Both of us had a few bites of everything and decided to scrap our 60$ dinner. There is no flavour in anything other than the chow mein which I cant stomach, it smells like dog food and the taste is nothing normal. The mushrooms are canned and gross. The wonton is luke warm water with a dash of... something? I will never be ordering here again sadly.

Management needs to implement a hygiene policy. I entered the men's room at the back of the restaurant to wash my hands and one of the kitchen helpers was already there relieving himself at the urinal. While I was still at the sink he finished his business and just walked out. I exited a few moments later and walking back to my seat only to see him stacking fresh dishes and cups onto the shelf. OMG! Being rather perturbed, I asked our waiter about their hygiene policy and I explained what I witnessed in the men's room. He responded, "well, I normally wash my hands..." Wrong answer.

I have given Lee Rest. so many chances to improve their size portions. I told them that it was rather small. Taste is good though, but I think I'm giving up on this place. Feels kind of pricey for the small portion you get.

But the quality of the meat and the taste of what I was eating was not fit to eat in my opinion . I hope they change some things with the combo plates to make them better .... yikes

Service is quick, food is tasty and consistently good, and you get a good sized portion for the price. They have a lot of food and bubble tea options too! I have also ordered from Lee's House via Skip the Dishes before with good results as well.

The only reason that Lee's wasn't given four stars is the fact that they don't deliver. Asides from that, my experience was excellent. Their menu is diverse and reasonably priced, and their service is polite and thorough. If you're within walking distance, make a point of stopping by. Try a coconut slush with coffee jelly, it was bizarrely delicious.

First time in new location. Interior is spacious, bright and clean. Free parking plenty. Service is fantastic. Food comes out fresh. Dim sum seems to be homemade. Priced inexpensive. Size of Dim Sum dishes are on the small side. Siu Mai was undercook (i.e. raw on the inside), so they took it out before paying without issue. May not return for Dim Sum but other main dishes are well worth a visit.

Tasteless food and complete lack of customer service. My DH and I each ordered a dish. His arrived in 10 min. and mine didn't come until almost half an hour later. I called at 6pm ordered my food they told me 20mins I said I pick it up I showed up at 6:20pm food wasn't ready I stood there thinking my food b ready in at least 5mins no it wasn't 25mins later still no food & I paided I was pissed so I left went downtown ordered from some other place had my food in 15mins time I got back home Lee's to s calling at 7:10pm told em keep it I won't b back horrible service definitely not happy & won't b back don't take over a hr for food expecilly if I'm picking it up

their rice dishes arent anything like they call it. they chicken fried rice has like next to no chicken and if they do its that noodle shaped fatty chicken. the duck over rice is really boney, and their beef and "scrambled eggs" over rice is just some creamy mix of the teeniest amount of eggs and burnt mushrooms. so creamy its a slimy disgusting mess. i gave them 3 tries so far. and gotta say im done bothering. what a waste of money this store is.

Decent food, nice staff but not really worth it. The bubble tea was pretty bad, curdled milk and watery. That picture below is supposed to be mango milk tea. Didn't bother finishing. Rest of the meal was above average but not worth the price.

Kind of hit and miss. Vegetable and noodle dishes are quite good but the breading around the sweet and sour prawns is so hard it seems as if it were made to protect them from being eaten. The service is excellent. Always greeted with a warm smile.

The service was absolutely terrible. I arrived after my wife and two children had already received their food and there were no napkins on the table or chopsticks. The cutlery my wife said she'd had to ask for. Eventually we had to get up to fetch our own napkins. From the time I was seated to when we finished our meals and we're ready to pay nobody had come to the table to ask if we needed more tea, offer me a drink or to order food, or see if we needed anything at all. We definitely won't be returning.

My review is mixed. This was my first time trying food at Lee's. It is convenient to my home. I liked the serving sizes, the sauces were tasty, and I especially liked the vegetables. They don't deliver. Their prices are at least 15% higher than the other Chinese food restaurant I have tried. My biggest disappointment was their ginger beef, which lacked ginger flavor and was too salty.

Very nice dumpling soup. I had pork dumplings in a beef broth and it was very tasty. The dumplings are made fresh, in house and it shows. The broth was rich and had green onions and pickled cabbage. The staff were very friendly. The only strange thing is that they brought my friends lunch out at least five minutes before mine, even though we were sitting together. Food was great though!

Their Taiwanese dishes are authentic! The menu do have Cantonese dishes to offer more varieties and to cater a wider audience. It is not specified which one is Taiwanese and which one is Cantonese on the menu. The biggest challenge for me is that they offer a lot on their menu, which makes it difficult for someone who is indecisive????. My personal favourite is their "Fried Chicken Cutlet with Noodle in Broth," "Braised Beef Brisket in Soup with Noodle," and "Pork Dumplings."

Taiwanese dishes are good. Noodle soup doesn't have taste. Inconsistent quality --- When it's good it's really good. For the same dish, the weeknd cook's cooking style doesn't agree with out taste bud but the weekday cook does a better job.

Ordered dinner to go on a week day. Food only took 15 minutes to be ready. The experience was very disappointing, fried rice was bold and uninspiring and sweet and sour pork just meh. The black bean crispy chow mein was the best thing by far. Overall, big disappointment and probably not coming back.

Amazing food, the friendliest staff. Many Chinese students attending Uvic meet here for meals and treat the place like it's their mom's kitchen away from home. That's a good sign the food is authentic. Nice selection of Cantonese and Taiwanese style dishes.

Been here a few times. This time we ordered crispy noodles, but the noodles were not even cooked. We talked with the waiter and they brought out the plate with better cooked and crispy noodles but very salty sauce that we couldn’t even finish the plate. We definitely won’t come back. Both food and service are not good.

I will not go to this restaurant any more. We found a bug in the baby bok choy. My wife even ate a bite of it . The bug looks like a fly. When we complaint about this, the waitress took it away immediately without any apology. After that, they told us it was just a cabbage worm. However, what kind of "worm" has a pair of wings?

Very disappointed. The service was pathetic. Also I think it is very dangerouse to leave small shards of bone you can't see in the chicken that are hidden quite well. Over priced for not even sub-par food. I will not be coming back or bring a child here because of the sharp bones hidden in the chicken. Very hazardous.

Went to dine in and the service was fast! Also the food was wonderful. Ordered Chicken CHow MAin, Sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, white rice and breaded almond chicken. The chow main was excellent, not soggy, you could taste a slight pan fry which makes it feel authentic. The sweet and sour pork had flavor unlike some places who drench bad pork cuts. These were quality!
