We had a very nice brunch here on the weekend. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my friend had the Omelet with candied salmon and dill. Both meals were delicious! The hotel was decorated up nicely for Christmas as well including some Gingerbread house displays.

Great location, spectacular views, close to town, great food, I highly recommend this hotel. Fabulous place to have your wedding!

We got the deluxe king room with beautiful view, especially at night, of the water and the legislature building. The room was very clean and quiet, the bed was comfy. We also rent the electric scooters to ride around and it was so much fun. Service was excellent, staff members were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had is it was very hard to find the online menu of Lure, the restaurant. We eventually found it but didn’t come to because the foods sounded boring. However, it’s walking distance to downtown Victoria where we can find any kind of foods we want. I’ll definitely choose to stay at the Delta hotel if I come back to Victoria

Very run down condo style building. A maze to find your room. Dated, plain rooms with high noise transfer. Parking is cramped as we ended up on the street. 2-3 star experience.

Had a good stay, good views with great friendly staff all with a good location so easy to get DT. It’s a Delta so it’s a good middle of the road option. Rooms have everything you need in the them. I will say the staff had the friendliness of a Fairmont, I was blown away how they made the effort to say hello.

Very disappointed with the service. I came for a refund on a booked massage that due to the pandemic they weren't able to offer. I was given a refund copy that you couldn't read because of ink issues in printer, then I spent days awaiting a phone call after being told I could pick up a cheque in 2 days. I had to call them and ask what is going on with my refund and why haven't I heard back from them yet? They transferred me to a different department that said it would take up to 2 weeks for them to mail it to me. I then called the front desk back and coincidentally the lady I had moments earlier spoken to and who Initially given me the refund certificate was no longer available and I had to explain everything to this other front desk clerk. She said she was going to call the department and fix it and I never heard back from them at all. I will never deal with them again in the future. Very beautiful looking place but the staff need to treat their guests better. This place only cares about taking your money.

Great hotel if you're visiting, super convenient to downtown and excellent views of the city... Otherwise decent food in the restaurant, staff usually better than last time I was there, I recommend Sunday brunch if they're offering it - especially from the round couch by the window in the lounge.

Dinner at Lure Restaurant 22Jan., 2022. Dine around promotions. Waited for an hour for the food and when it arrived it was cold Steak was cooked medium well when the order was medium rare Manager apologized offered to comp 20% and promised to give us fresh cooked. They brought new main course hot and to my disappointment my Sable fish was recooked and scored. The desserts took another half an hour. The manager did comp the meals and drinks but really disappointed for the deception. We had expected better from Marriott and Delta.

This is absolutely one of our favourite places to stay. We are local and do weekend trips at the delta frequently. The rooms are updated, clean, and nice. Every staff member we have interacted with has been absolutely fantastic. The view is gorgeous too. Plus- they are pet friendly which is a HUGE bonus for us!

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and booked a water view room. Hotel had a beautiful view of the harbour and had 2 chairs in front of the windows which were perfect to watching the activity outside. It is a bit of an older hotel and does show its age in some aspects, the bathroom was a little small, but functional. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and the restaurant was convenient for breakfast. We returned to our room in the mid afternoon and it hadn't been cleaned yet, since we were only there for 2 nights we decided to forgo the cleaning so can't comment on that. The Delta is good value for the price. We did find is that is about a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants and downtown Victoria which was a bit of a drawback, however we had beautiful weather so it was nice for walking around.

Professional, helpful staff who are very welcoming and friendly. Good service at the bar. Our room was clean and bathroom immaculate. We arrived early and despite check in being at 4pm they changed our room and gave us a great view over the harbour. The pool is perfect for kids, while mum and dad can have a drink at the bar. Nice ambience and easy to get to town by foot. They've a shuttle service, which is efficient. Well done Delta hotel Victoria!

We loved this hotel for its great location and well appointed rooms. Located just across the bridge, we felt like we were in the middle of town and could walk to everything we wanted to see in Victoria. We enjoyed a wander along the sea wall in front of the hotel and the view from the main lobby. The staff were excellent and always very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, which we enjoyed. The sixth floor patio was an absolute bonus! Definitely recommend as a centrally located hotel in Victoria!

The customer service here is always top notch. This time we brought our dog, and the service was incredible. Cookies, a dog dish, and bags all in your room. Each time you come and go there are lots of smiles and cuddles for your furbaby.

Exceptional hotel. Nothing flashy, just does everything really, really well. All the staff were extremely friendly, and very helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate. Things were always done promptly and accurately. The food on the catering side was high quality, with lots of good options. Great view of the harbour and the parliament buildings. The rooms are nice and clean. Large quality TVs and comfy beds. Highly recommend this place, only good experiences so far!

Make sure you bring your vax passport because they will not allow you in their pool even though there are no mandates for pool passports. I had to cancel my room at the front desk while I tried to check in. The manager did not budge! I even made sure by calling ahead before booking that there was no restrictions on the pool. Whoever I talked to on the phone said there were none. But upon arrival they changed their minds! I am so disappointed with their segregation policy. Shame on you Delta! Thankfully, all other hotels in Victoria did not require vax passport for their pools. My family and I was able to book a different hotel. This happened on September 24, 2021 around 4 PM.

We just had our third stay with this hotel and its been perfect every time! First off, we have dogs and its such a relief to be able to take them with us on getaways. The team here, is very dog friendly, everyone at the front desk and bell/valet team loved our dogs. Even the housekeeping team didn't mind them and thought they were cute. We've stayed in other hotels before with our pets, that have claimed they are pet friendly, but have loads of restrictions/employees that are not thrilled with us and there is never any of that here. We really appreciate it that our fur babies are treated like they are part of our family when we stay. The beautiful harbor walkway and grassy area in the back of the hotel is also so convenient to taking our doggies for walks and getting in great views of sunrises and sunsets. I think this is the best place to stay when in Victoria. You just have amazing harbor views and at night you can see the parliament house and other structures lit up. If you are an elite member, the club lounge is awesome (full breakfast in the morning and heavy apps in the evening). Everything that we have ordered from room service or Lure has been so tasty and the pool area is fantastic if you have kids. The property itself is beautiful, I love the cherry blossoms in the driveway during spring time, and the lights on the grounds at night are just so romantic. All of the action across the harbor is a quick five to seven minute walk across the Johnson street bridge which is very well lit and safe to cross during the evening time. A good place with a lovely view of the Inner Harbour. Happy Hour meals and drinks are varied and tasty. There is an accessible washroom, parking and a ramped access to the Lure Lounge.

This hotel is a short walk away from the downtown Victoria strip. The grounds are very pretty and some rooms offer gorgeous views. The room was clean and the hotel staff was accommodating. Parking is underground. I recommend finding alternative eating arrangements. Our family found the hotel restaurant to be a disappointment. The Lure staff ignored us when we arrived, hoping to get breakfast. They also close up the bar somewhat early in the night.

During my most recent stay here, I was greeted to my room by bed bugs. At first I wasn't sure if they were so I told the hotel staff about all the itchy red spots on my body and they said it was probably the detergent in the sheets. I took their word for it and they changed my sheets but the next morning I woke up with even more itchy red spots all over my body. That night I couldn't take it anymore so I took all the sheets off to inspect the mattress and found 1 bug crawling around the mattress. I promptly told the hotel staff, but they still insisted it was the detergent the hotel was using but I pushed back and told them I couldn't stay in that room anymore so they gave me keys to a different room. The next day, I guess they had someone inspect the room and did indeed find bed bugs in my old room and informed me about it. They could've lied and said they didn't find any, however they were professional and said they closed down the room and all adjacent rooms in order to exterminate the bugs. Normally this would obviously be a 1 star rating, however the staff eventually were truthful and professional and the rest of my stay was good to go. They could have easily lied and said there were no bed bugs, but they dealt with the situation well. I hope they start inspecting their mattresses on a regular basis so that this doesn't happen to anyone else ever again.

The breakfast buffet at Lure, the hotel's on site restaurant, offered a wide array of choices. Was stuck here for an event that was putting us in isolation, which is to say we couldn't leave the hotel. They had 3 meals a day provided to us. I have to say the staff and facility was top notch. So very friendly and accommodating. The biggest issue and reason i only gave it 3 stars is because the food they where serving us every day was absolutely disappointing. For 500$ a night, you'd think they would would feed us decent food, but we might as well be in a cafeteria. Actually i would have prefered the cafeteria food. Totally destroyed my experience. Being a five star brand, customer service is absolutely key, no questions asked, no matter if you’re a bonvoy member. Staff and manager wasn’t good in listening and understanding customer needs. They only focused in protecting themselves and the hotel.

What a wonderful stay. We had an absolutely beautiful suite. The staff was nothing but lovely. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub was down for maintenance during our visit due to an unforeseen vomit incident, but you were able to take the shuttle to the other Marriott location to use their pool if you wanted.
