I moved to Victoria in the middle of COVID-19 for a new job and had to find an apartment very quickly; City Life Suites was first-rate and made the move stress-free. I stayed in the Old Town Suite for two months and it was in an awesome location, stylishly furnished, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and immaculately cleaned. Rod and Melissa are prompt communicators and great hosts. I would recommend City Life Suites to anyone looking for an extended stay in Victoria.

Astoria Ocean View Suite. Great location close to downtown, the harbour, museum, shopping and restaurants. We used monthly bus passes for transport and found the service excellent, very safe and the drivers most amenable. The nicely appointed apartment was very sunny and bright with a great view watching the ships come and go.Thank you for the binoculars. Netflix was appreciated as were the comfortable sofa and chairs. We would have liked more light over the dining table in the evening. The kitchen was adequately set up with good pots and pans, plenty of plates, bowls and glassware. We could have used a couple of serving dishes, egg cups, sugar and cream and a small frying pan. The shopping buggy and umbrella were most useful. Rod and Melissa were admirable hosts/managers. We have always appreciated their warm welcome and explanation of the workings of the apartment and the building. They were most responsive in supplying extra equipment to meet our needs. We truly appreciate their organization and attention to detail for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and office supplies provided.The well organized folder of instruction manuals for all appliances illustrates their ability. In all our travels they have been the BEST hosts/managers we have experienced. Thank you for a most memorable stay. Ray and Rachael

City life suite is a well-managed family owned business. We have stayed at several of their properties in the past 2 years. We have always had excellent services during the rental process. Their suites were always very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Communication has always been easy with Rod and Melissa. During one of our stay, there was a small maintenance issue that came up and they were quick to respond and fix the problem. We would certainly stay at their properties in the future.

Moving to Victoria for a four-month internship, I came across the Pacific Studio suite. The booking was seamless, and I had a pleasant stay. The suite had great balcony views and was stylishly decorated, well-kept and fully furnished with all the necessary appliances in good condition to make it feel like home. Also, Melissa and Rod were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were always attentive to my needs and easy to reach with fast, professional, and detailed replies. Overall, I had nothing but exceptional experiences, so I highly recommend City Life Suites.

We spent two months in the Tranquility suite in the Astoria and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The location is fabulous and the apartment itself was perfect for two people in every way. Rod and Melissa were wonderful to deal with and made our stay worry free...always there if we needed anything at all. City Life will be my choice should we return to Victoria...we couldn't have asked for more in rental agents or accommodation!

I am an extremely particular person. I'm demanding and sensitive, and I can easily be perturbed by things that don't bother others. I wish I weren't so hyper-aware, but I've come to accept that's me. (Sigh...) Anyway, for those who can relate to my self-description, if you're looking for a vacation or an escape-to-Victoria place-to-stay, a property managed by Melissa and Rod will bring you peace-of-mind. They're kind, attentive people who have a small-town, friendly demeanor, and they only manage places that are top-quality, clean, well-maintained, and safe. I stayed in Market Loft for two months. It's extremely quiet; you can't hear feet walking above you, a toilet flushing, neighbors talking, elevators, etc. It's like you live there by yourself, yet you're in a secure, clean condo. Making the decision to stay in a property that's not your own for a month-or-more can trigger doubt and anxiety, but when you choose a property managed by Melissa and Rod, your focus can be on what you'll do to entertain yourself when you're out-and-about; you'll have no need to worry about your 'home' life or safety. I plan on staying at a City Life Suite property every year going-forward, because my experience was THAT good.

I rented the Heritage View Suite from August 2020 to Feb 2021 as I was on business in the Victoria area. The suite was gorgeous exactly as shown in the photos online. The beds were super comfy. The enormous deck with the view of the harbor was a bonus to chill on. All info on the suite is documented in a binder and if I had any additional question the wonderful hosts Rod and Melissa of City Life suites were available. The location is great in the heart of Chinatown. Its walking distance to everything. The best coffee ever is across the street at Habit. Harbor Air, the Empress, and Government Street are minutes away, Grocery Markets and restaurants are all within steps to blocks. My coworkers also rented suites from City Life suites in various downtown locations and had great experiences. I can highly recommend City Life Suite for your next stay in Victoria.

City Life Suites is a brilliant management company. We've stayed with them twice (long term) in two different units and both were incredibly clean, well stocked and comfortable. Rod and Melissa are so accommodating and easy to work with. They are the only management company I deal with in Victoria. You can't go wrong with their units.

“Good Value” only begins to tell you how good City Life Suites is as a source of self-catering short term accommodation in Victoria BC. We have previous experience with City Life Suites and this year my wife and I rented their Old Town Suite for the months on January, February and March, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This one-bedroom suite has everything a couple needs, with a well equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed and excellent furniture and amenities - as well as indoor parking. It is very well situated in a relatively new building that is only a few steps away from the harbour and the handsome new bridge to Victoria West and beyond. If you are a cyclist, as I am, the bike path to the Sannich peninsula , as well as to the Galloping Goose trail leading to points west, is right on your doorstep. Restaurants abound in the neighbourhood, including those in Victoria’s wonderful China town, just a block away. And to top it off, Melissa and Rod will make you feel right at home with their excellent advise and help, if ever needed.

I can't say enough great things about City Life Suites. My husband and I booked one of their units in the Union Building on Pandora Avenue. We booked for 3 months and we had never stayed in Victoria before so needless to say it was a gamble. We could not have been happier! Melissa and Rod were fantastic hosts. The unit was immaculate and the area was perfectly located downtown. The kitchen was stocked with any item you could possibly need, plus more. Everything looked like it was brand new. There was a binder in the unit explaining how everything works too. Melissa and Rod went "over and above" as hosts, answering every email promptly. We never had any issues, but if we had, I am positive that they would have done anything to provide a solution. We have had some less than stellar experiences with rentals in the past, but this was certainly not one of them. 100% would recommend!!

Spent the last week of August in the Horizon Suite in the Astoria Building. The location is perfect, right downtown and a short walk to a bunch of great restaurants. Booking through City Life Suites was a breeze, and Melissa had some great recommendations of things for us to see/do with our time in Victoria. The place was very clean and the view was amazing. I will definitely book with City Life Suites again and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the Hudson the first four months of 2021. It’s a fabulous Victoria location, walking distance to all the glorious sights of the city. We even walked to Oak Bay and back! So there is no need to bring your car unless you are heading to other parts of the Island plus Victoria public transit can take you to most places for a $5 daily bus pass. Rod and Melissa are great to deal with, quickly responding to a few minor issues that we didn’t know how to resolve. We stayed in the Market Loft and took advantage of the Hudson’s rooftop terrace with its panoramic views of the city, inner harbour and mountain backdrops. Highly recommend CitySuites!

We rented the Market Loft Suite for a few months and were extremely pleased with the place, and even more with the outstanding care and attention we got from Melissa and Rod. Apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and very well appointed. Melissa and Rod made us feel welcome and responded very quick for any concern (not that there were many!). When we had to leave earlier than we expected, Melissa and Rod endeavoured to rent out again the suite for the remainder of the agreed period, and sure enough, we received a very nice refund a few weeks later. Highly recommend!
