I had a vanilla cone (small) cuz it's all about balance right.. I don't even remember what it cost, for all I know they coulda charged me $1500 and I wouldn't have noticed I was so pumped to try it. Took me 3 years to choose a flavor cuz they all looked level 9. Ended up getting the cookies n cream.. chomped down on it before the girl even finished handing it to me and I was in icecream heaven. Almost proposed to the girl that dunked it I was so happy. Probably going back tomorrow for breakfast.. thanks flavoris!

I tried this ice cream shop for the first time yesterday. Honesty if you enjoy that taste of real ice cream you will not enjoy this place. Below the glitz and glam of the chocolate dipped shell the soft ice cream is absolutely flavourless. You may experience enjoyment for the first few bites until it gets too overbearingly sweet and heavy. Unfortunately these cones don’t have anything to offer below the surface so to speak. You are better off getting real ice cream across the street. If you don’t believe me, put down your 7 dollars and try it for yourself.

If you've never been to CF, just go, you won't regret it. It's very salty and sweet and unhealthy, but definitely a guilty pleasure. My fave is the peanut butter dip, hubby likes the cookies and cream. Hazelnut is awesome too!

Split review so you get 3 stars...Purchase was approx a week ago, got a litre of ice cream soft serve vanilla, but it was quite gritty and not enjoyable. However, I also got some mini pancake things that were really good.

Good ice cream. Happy staff. Order a small as the large are way too big. Opening a location in Kanata this Fall. Can't wait. Salted caramel is my favourite. Just the right amount of salt to go with the sweet. So good. Dips are available to go too! Take some home.

I'm giving this place a low score because the average score should be lower. This place is utterly standard. If five stars was the best gelato or soft serve I've ever had and no stars was Dairy Queen this might be a step above Dairy Queen. There are better places for chocolate, ice cream, and gelato. This place isn't terrible though. What caught my eye was the kooky cones but I was disappointed to find the soft serve to be at the same level as fast food while the fondu coating was reminiscent of Hershey's, particularly the cookies and cream. So, basically something I could make at home. I tried again with gelato and some other fondu on top. Again, nothing special. It didn't help that whenever I've gone there they seem to be out of many flavours and the staff hasn't been very helpful. Of course, it is currently tourist season and this place doesn't seem to handle large volumes of customers well so the staff is always busy. People have told me this place is all about fondu. I hope it is, because the iced treats are nothing special and uninspired. Go here if you want something overly sweet and standard, but save the five star rating for something really special.

Was a fun experience... They only have 5 or 6 ice cream flavors... the fun is in the toppings. They dip your cone in a dip of choice (like chocolate or cookies and cream or cotton candy dip) and then they load it up with fun toppings (like nuts or actual cotton candy or a mini piece of brownie). The dipped chocolate part was pretty thick IMO and hard to break apart for the kids to access the ice cream (they couldn't bite through it) but they did enjoy it...and of course as I mentioned the wow factor of getting this massive ice cream cone full of toppings was fun - did it once, and that's enough for us.

Very popular store, so expect to queue for a little bit especially on weekends. Portions are quite big, so I would recommend getting the mini cone. The strawberry sorbet and dark chocolate 75% cocoa dip is the a winning combination! It’s less sweet and comes with a bit of tang.

I will go down with this ship. This place is amazing. Only ever had one iffy experience in all.my times of visiting. Awesome flavours, great ice cream, fast service. I will never go back to regular dipped cones again. Couldn't say anything negative about this place expect sometimes its packed with tourists and the line can get long. But the employees are fast and pretty chipper. I'll keep going back in the summer.

After a first visit in Montreal, this was a fun memory for the family. If you like chocolate, you need to stop here. A fun assortment of dips, and they all taste rich and premium. Our boys enjoyed the milk-shake versions this visit. A meal in a cup!

Chocolats Favoris is my go to dessert spot in Victoria. It caters to kids, tourists and locals alike, and their melted chocolate desserts will satisfy any sweet tooth. It's super indulgent stuff, more a post dinner treat than an ice cream cone while you walk. The portions are gut-bustingly generous, I usually get a dipped raspberry sorbet (the best sorbet I've ever tasted) of the smallest size and it completely fills me up. They sell a lot of chocolates too.

A waste of money. I ordered a cup of chocolate ice cream and had them put the chocolate syrup on top. They give you a flimsy little plastic spoon that is utterly useless. I had to throw the whole thing out.

Just tried this place out for the first time with my girlfriend and it was awesome! my only issue is the flimsy spoons to eat it with, would really appreciate better quality spoon so you could break through the dip otherwise the spoon just bends in half and pointless. The cones are also very messy, delicious and very thick chocolate coating on the dip cone but a bit difficult to eat

Just want to say...amaziballs ice cream. You need to go to this place. Yes don't judge but I may have went here 2 nights in a row...soooo good. First night was recommended the salted caramel dipped cone...which was my favorite by far. Had popcorn on it and other goodness. The next night I had the crunchy hazelnut. Yep...super delish. The ice cream is smooth and creamy then it is covered in mouth watering chocolate dip along with some additional goodies stuck onto it. You need to try it!!

great for the sweet tooth! The ice cream alone is a good choice. They have a variety of chocolates and candy to purchase, in addition to the chocolate fondue cans to have it at home. Their assortment of chocolate dips and selections are great. Highly recommend the chocolate poutine or sandwiches. The chocolate dips come in a variety of flavours with the seasonal flavours. Once the chocolate is on your ice cream, it’s very riche and thick. At times messy on a cone but easier to eat than having it poured on your ice cream in a bowl (mostly because the spoons are dull and can’t get through the thick chocolate). Great experience and recommend this as a stop for anyone looking to get their ice cream fix!

The soft serve ice cream is perfectly acceptable and inexpensive. The line up corral and three cash registers are designed to move large crowds quickly but efficiency flies out the window when small children are asked what kind of ice cream they would like . Cones are dunked upside down into one of many flavored coatings. This unlike any other topping we have tried is surprisingly thick. It does become a bit waxy but makes sense -as your mouth grows colder the topping must be chewed because its melting point is higher than the ice cream itself. The cone comes wrapped in an atomically small paper tissue so cram as many napkins in your pockets as possible before leaving. If the plan is to eat the cone while walking around, make your very next destination a bathroom or water park. Depending on how much has soaked into your socks and shoes you may want to ask someone for help -have them start by throwing handfuls of water in your face. If melted ice cream dripping from your elbow has gone unnoticed and filled your purse, the coin operated heavy duty Wet-Vac found at a Self Car Wash is your best bet. If you're in a hurry and need to get back on a waiting tour bus or return to work, try walking directly into a child's wading pool or falling backwards into a water fountain.

I can't understand why the reviews are so good. The ice cream and chocolate creations may taste good but it's not possible to eat from a dish. We were given plastic spoons which cannot penetrate the hard shell of the chocolate on the ice cream. We literally could not eat it. Silly, but we went back a while later because I was determined to make this work, and I ordered a cone and asked them to dip only once. Almost immediately, the chocolate hardened and it was the messiest cone I've ever had - it tasted good but super, super sweet.

Delicious! We tried the soft-serve dipped cones with the extra stuff on the outside and they were sooo good! Be warned, though: they make a HUGE mess, as the ice cream leaks like crazy out of the chocolate shell and there are no washrooms in the store. Unless you're okay walking around downtown covered in ice cream, definitely opt for a bowl instead.

The system inside was very confusing. There is a small menu by the door and besides that there is no menu until you get to the counter. The staff was very unhelpful and the system is very unefficient, leading to very large crowds inside. The gelato is extremely sweet and not very tasty. The dipped ice cream leaks everywhere. We both got stomach aches after eating here.

This place is super pretty in the inside and was very busy when I went. The staff was friendly and the menu was easy to understand. The mini cone size may seem like it's made for a child, but don't be fooled. They have great portions and the mini would have been the perfect size to order. Everything here is so good! The staff are always really nice and helpful. The ice cream is great but I always get the frozen bars. The bars are underrated for sure. Everyone visiting Victoria should definitely go as even locals love this place.

The icecream is good but i specifically asked for the milk chocolate kooki with no brownies and extra chocolate which a manager said was allowed when i tried to contact the person making my icecream asking if that was for me they kinda snapped at me saying i was the only one in line and caused me to become to anxious to let her know of my changes She didnt even fully cover the ice cream with chocolate..

They have wonderful non dairy options! And they don't have that gross "fake icecream" flavour. Just pure delicious. And the staff really take pains to keep it dairy free. As in when I order a dipped cone, they grab a fresh cupful of chocolate sauce from the back to dip my cone in, then pour the rest into the pot they dip the dairy cones in. Fantastic employees!! I have never gotten sick from cross contamination. A+ They deserve a raise.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Taste okay, but it’s gonna be a mess. Because the soft cream is dipped into chocolate, the ice cream inside starts to melt very fast, and your hands will be very dirty. It needs a lot of hand wipes and paper napkins -sorry for the nature. Even though I had a dark chocolate dip, it was too sugary.

Tasty ice cream and pretty unique. The dipped cones are coated in a thick (and I mean thick) layer of chocolate. Lots of dip options to choose from. I'd recommend getting smaller sizes...I've found it tough to even finish a small at times. A bit expensive, and usually really busy (for good reason). Definitely a good summer treat spot.

Definitely the most overwhelming ice cream customization I've ever had to do, but it was so worth it! I try to avoid sweets if it's not worth it, but I came here two nights in a row and finished my partner's on one of those nights. We were fortunate enough to have avoided any of the rush or lines they seem to have, but ngl, I would've waited in line. It could be the novelty of it all, but I'm sure I'll be back here almost everyday whenever I make it to Victoria again!

You can choose flavors of ice cream, varieties of dipping sauce and the kooky option gives you some custom add-ons. I got the salted caramel sauce with the kooky option that included caramel popcorn and pretzel sticks. Pretty good!

Service was terrible. The girl in front ordered a specialty hot chocolate, the server didn't pay attention and made a regular. She then asked the customer if it was okay that it wasn't specialty and the customer said no and asked they remake it. The server rudely said it'll be another 10 minutes then started making our cones. She was super hurried making our cone and the chocolate coating/ice cream was dripping down the cone and was a mess seconds after she made it. We had to ask for a cup. Cone was great but the whole situation was super disorganized and confusing and service was rude.

Everything looked amazing in this shop, quite busy in summer but I didn’t have to wait in line for very long. I wanted to get the classic ice cream only but somehow the cashier made it to the cookie one. It looks fancy but not worth it. The dipped chocolate layer was way too thick and too sweet (even though I got the dark chocolate). The ice cream itself was good but quite normal like you can find it everywhere.

First time visiting, went in and ordered a medium vanilla cone with hazelnut praline dip thinking oh yeah I can stomach it. Big mistake for someone who's slightly lactose intolerant lol. The portion was big. It tasted amazing. The ice cream was nice and creamy and the hazelnut praline dip was just mmmmmm. Great value and great ice cream and chocolate dips. If I remember correct there were 3-4 soft serve ice cream flavours and 12 dips to pick from. Great variety. Might have to make this our go to ice cream spot. Will be sticking with a Mini cone next time.

Fun place to visit. They usually have some great seasonal chocolate moulds that we get for our grandchildren. This time we treated ourselves to a Kooky Ice Cream Cone. While they were good and definitely fun, we both felt that the chocolate dip was way to thick. At least 1/8 of an inch if not more so, thick. Fortunately we only got the small cones as after a few bites it was just too much, so sweet. So we peeled off the thick chocolate dip layer, saved it, and ate the remaining ice cream and cone. We indulged in the saved chocolate later with our tea and coffee that evening!!

I went here at 10:30 on a Friday night, and the line looped around the store and went out the door. Luckily, they're efficient and we were through the line in 15 minutes. The prices are a little intimidating for a cone of ice cream, but it was definitely worth it. The chocolate coating on the cone is thick and rich. The one downside was that the cone itself was stale, so I ended up scooping out as much ice cream as I could and tossing the cone.

I can’t even! This mini cones are so addictive with the hot dips! This is heaven literally. Its conveniently located at the heart of downtown by the waters. Perfect to have Chocolats Favoris either in summer, rain or snow! They have chocolate bars, hot chocolate and ice cream. They have these kawaii mini cones! The Dark chocolate dip is amazing. They also have wet wipes which is a neat accessory leaving you with no complaints.

UPDATE: Oct. 23, 2020: Unfortunately, I must change my review. I had previously rated this store 5 star, but a recent experience was quite disappointing...alarming actually. I visited this store August 22/20. I have been a regular customer for several years and it has been a treat I looked forward to almost every weekend. The day I visited the store, was a month or two after re-opening after being closed because of COVID. While waiting in line to place my order, I observed in a 10 minute time period, two of the cone servers touched their masks and then handle food products with unwashed hands. I placed my order and when my cone was brought to me, I asked for the server to throw the cone out, wash her hands, and bring me a new cone. The staff explained that the cones are placed in plastic cone holders so their products don't come in contact with their hands. I explained that the germs on their hands (from their masks which they touched) are transferred to the cone holders. This wasn't just about the corona virus, this is basic hygiene 101. They could have a multitude of contaminants on their hands such as mono, impetigo, herpes, and any other infectious bacteria/virus/ailment. Staff complied with my request but the one who I requested she was her hands was smirking at me the entire time. I mailed a lengthy letter to the manager of the store via the postal system to express my concerns of the practices and attitude of the staff. I did not receive a response. I actually included a photo of myself on the letterhead as I am in that store so frequently that I am sure the manager would recognize me. I received no response. I then emailed the head office and attached a copy of my letter to the email and outlined my concerns advising that I had not received a response from the local store manager. I let them know that I had not returned to the store since that event. It is now the end of October and I have never heard. In my opinion, based on their seemingly lack of interest with my concern, it appears this company doesn't seem to care about the health and safety of their customers. I will no longer support this business and will certainly stop recommending this business to my visitors and the many tourists that I meet while out and about. Disappointing Chocolats Favouris.

Maybe I was just at the wrong shop for me but I was not overly impressed. Chocolats Favoris specialized in fancy dipped Ice Cream cones. They have a great variety of these dips and I think many people would find the highly photogenic treats a delight, but for me they were just sickly sweet. Everything from the soft serve itself to the dip (which was the least sweet one I could find) just gave me a stomach ache it was so sweet. I'm sure many people would enjoy it so I'll give it a three star, but for similarly sweet sensitive people, maybe think twice.

My experience was this: I went in with my brother, we were the only customers in the store, the person working there greeted me and asked if I wanted to sample any of the chocolates, I picked 3 that I was into, they gave me the samples and instead of asking me which one I wanted they left me to go to a couple that had since walked in and proceeded to sample every flavour of ice cream and chocolate for them.. so I stood and waited for 5-7 minutes while another employee just stood behind the till not helping anyone just watching. IN THIS TIME another couple (this time with kids came in) and they apparently stood in the right part of the line (mind you when I came in I was the only customer and there was no line) so when the person who initially greeted me finished with the couple THEY HELPED THE FAMILY completely ignoring me, the other employee still standing there useless. So I wait.. finally after the family’s order is take the useless employee chimes in “the line starts over there” OKAY. So I say my order 1 vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate and one cookies and cream gelato, the employee asks “cookies and cream soft serve” no, I clarify gelato and I point at it in the case. So I’m at the end of the counter waiting for my order when the useless employee finally mustered up some work ethic walks over with two soft serve cones announces “chocolate dip & cookies and cream soft serve” ???????????? I say NO I ordered cookies and cream gelato, they ROLL THEYRE EYES AT ME and go and scoop the cookies and cream gelato. Finally I get to leave with my cone and I give my brother his gelato and it was not even that great. Honestly. At the end of the day do what you want to do for ice cream, this was just my experience but based on it I probably wouldn’t return. Also I’m a very passive customer, I will withstand any amount of abuse as a fellow customer service worker but this was just unnecessary, so here I am leaving a review.

Amazing staff don't judge you when you've visited them 4 times within 26 hour timespan. The fondue is really what steals the show. When they dunk the ice cream into the chocolate, it goes on thick and creamy. If you get it kooky, and I really suggest you get it kooky, they add amazing toppings that'll have your jaw hitting the floor. My personal favourite is the salted caramel. (And price-wise, you get much more for your hard-earned dollar at this ice cream joint than any other ice creamery that I visited prior to this fine establishment) In photos: left is "small" brownie, right is "mini" salted caramel. Mini cones are enough for an adult. The menu is confusing and not self evident how to order (Kooky means adding a preset extra 2 ingredients to which ever chocolate dip you picked - no mix and match but you can only opt for 1, no price reduction - and the preset options are only seen when you get to the counter). Staff didn't ring my order in correctly (addrd item but didn't do correcly) so I got a lecture at the end from the lady making the ice cream rather than the employee ????‍♀️ More about the chocolate than the ice cream (it's your regular soft serve, nothing special). There were many bonbons and chocolate bars that were very fancy looking to purchase.

The ice cream was melting everywhere and the salted caramel milk chocolate was so thick you couldn't bite through it to get if off the cone. Needless to say a cup with a spoon would have been a cleaner choice both for my face and the streets of Victoria. Totally bizarre experience. Strange disjointed space full of chocolate but it took us at least 10 minutes to figure out what the main products were. We got soft serve dipped in chocolate but the chocolate was so thick we couldn't access the ice cream. The staff didn't know one of the 3 products they offer (the brownie platter). I wouldn't recommend it.

Overpriced and overly sweet and very messy execution. Even though I have a sweet tooth, their chocolate dipped ice cream cones were almost disgustingly sweet. It's a good thing I got the smallest size, because it's way too sweet to eat it in a larger amount. Also the chocolate coating is too hard and thick, and the ice cream is too soft. Every time you try to take a bite, the ice cream squishes out of the cracks in the chocolate dip and it turns into a melted mess all over the cone and your hands.

This is an ice cream store in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Great concept, but poor execution. The concept is to sell custom dipped ice cream cones. Different dipped flavors and toppings. Lines are long and prices are very high. We ordered 4 cones and different flavored dips and toppings. The ice cream did not taste very good. Plus, the toppings were too sweet and not yummy. We found it was not worth the price or the wait. There are plenty of other delicious ice cream and gelato shops in Victoria that blow this gimmicky place out of the water.

Best ice cream place in Victoria. Everytime I visit and come to Victoria for work, I'd stop by here to buy myself a treat. I recommended this place to many of my friends. They over many chocolate dip flavours (and they alternate the ice cream flavors). Recently I went, they missed my order so I ended up waiting awhile. I don't know if they happens often either but my ice cream started to create these bubbles in the chocolate dip which created whole for the ice cream to melt through (caused a very big mess). I kinda wish they had some sort of drip cover to help decrease the ice cream drippage (like how Purdy's have the cupcake liners). I definitely do appreciate their cute wet wipes they offer (which luckily I took more than one so I was able to somewhat clean up enough to find a washroom to use around town). If you do come here, get the smallest size because their medium is enough for 3 people. I personally struggle to even finish my small. Also if you are someone who prefer something that isn't too sweet, get the dark chocolate options. Pricy but reasonable.

Great concept, great ice cream, great dips! I come to share a baby dipped cone with my little guy a couple times a week. The technique for eating them without mess is a little tricky but it's possible! Wait a while before you crack the dip, let it settle. Then take the tip in your mouth, sounds dirty but, teen take a bite out of the top while simultaneously drinking/slurping/sucking the melted ice cream out of the cone. At that point, everytime you take a bit, do a little suck and the experience will be as enjoyable as it is delicious!

Airy chocolate store & cafe with many chocolate products to choose from. It was a cold day so I went for a hot chocolate drink. For a custom hot chocolate, you can choose the type of chocolate from the chocolate fondue bar which has about 10 flavours to choose from - a range of different flavoured white, milk and dark chocolate. When they start making your drink, you choose the chocolate flavor - they even let you sample some! I went with the 75% Tanzania dark chocolate which was a good balance of cocoa bitterness & sweetness. I enjoyed my drink very much but I would've preferred if my drink was a bit hotter. Although it was at drinking temperature when served, I would like my drink hotter so it stayed hot for longer. However, I still definitely recommend a visit here!

This is just okay. Not good quality ice cream. Soft ice cream covered with chocolate in order to hide poor quality. You can get better quality ice cream elsewhere where you can taste real cream and natural aroma flavor instead of sugar. In my opinion, you pay a premium price for a decor but the ice cream is so-so. Kind of a gimmick concept. I asked the the cashier girl how the maple flavor tasted but she couldn't tell me because she didn't know what she was selling and said she hadn't yet tasted all the 3 flavors of soft ice cream. I was surprised. They need better training.

Not too bad, but from a person that worked at Dairy Queen when I was younger this hasn't stood out to me as it is very similar in taste. The ice cream is supposedly better but I genuinely think its the same we use in fast food joints. The chocolate coating is better in quality but not all the time in taste. I have tried their cookie ice cream bowls and it was a little underrated and I have tried their cookies and cream dipped cone and the cotton candy one and both were not amazing. I feel this place is primarily an image base company who gets there customers only from tourists and advertising.

OH MY LORD... I rarely go to upscale ice cream places but my daughter took me here and oh my, THE best I've cream I have ever had. Sure it is a little pricey but this is one place that is well worth the prices. I can not wait to go back to Victoria again because this will be my first desert place to hit and will probably hit it several times while there. I had the dolce caramel dipped special and it was amazing. You really do not need more than the regular size because it is so rich but hey, if you are feeling it, go for the medium and see if you can finish it. 5 stars for sure for the ice cream and the service. Great place for that special treat.

Tried a medium-sized kooky deluce ice cream cone.. the chocolate was way to thick so I couldn't enjoy the ice cream with the chocolate coating just one or the other. You couldn't take a bite and get both in your mouth and actually taste ice cream because the chocolate was so thick and sweet. I ended up getting a spoon and just eating the ice cream in the middle and throwing out the chocolate that was in the shape of a ice cream cone and the cone attached. The fudge wasn't horrible but wasn't as good as expected. Spent $8.50 on it & won't be going back.

The ice cream and drinks I've had so far had been pretty good, however I haven't had the greatest experience here. First time I went, I ordered a cotton candy milkshake. I was given the milkshake with a seperate lid to snap on, however whist snapping on the lid my hand slipped and knocked the milkshake all over myself/the floor. The workers didn't offer any help, so I ended up having to clean the floor with the spare tissues I had in my pocket. After that ordeal, a worker gave me a mop to wipe the ground and left me lol. Honestly, my visit was very strange. it would've been nice to get some help from the staff or a new drink. Another time I was with my friends in line, and one of my friend spotted a rat running along the counter near the ice cream toppings. She let us know and we of course got pretty alarmed. One of the workers heard us and afterwards glared and rolled her eyes at us.

Yes the topping is delicious. But it is covering rapidly melting soft serve in a basic cone and for this price, it seems a little over-rated. Perhaps my view is tilted because each time I have come into this place to date, I have had sullen service, at best, and felt rushed into making decisions before I had even had a chance to see flavours of ice cream. Signs all over tell us about the wacky sugar-laden comes we can build, but for newcomers there is little to explain how the basic concept works. Staff barking at you as you stand at the till don’t exactly make it easier. I get the concept of this place and think it could even be worth the bloated prices — but I find the execution is seriously lacking. There are local ice cream and gelato options all around — I feel CF staff should try a little harder instead of resting on their soft-dipped cone laurels.

Wow, so good if you love chocolate and ice cream. The dipped cones are unlike the cheaper version found elsewhere with the thin crisp shells. Real chocolate, thickly coating the soft serve, so hot and generous it started making the ice cream melt and become liquid. Really messy and gooey in the best way. Grab more napkins than you think you'd need.

They do milkshakes, but I have to say my favorite is the Kooky Cones, and because I had gluten free, they ladel the chocolate on and it literally forms a solid mass at the bottom of the cup. SUPER generous portion of chocolate. I had the cotton candy cone in a cup. To die for.

Been coming here since it opened. It was exciting when it first opened, but now the small flaws have become huge. The problem is the product. The chocolate coating is way too thick and the ice cream is way too runny. So it is impossible to eat the icecream without each bite causing icecream to squish out where ever possible. When you can get icecream and the flavours you want this place is delicious. Unfortunately, though, you can't always get icecream here, and you can't always have the flavour you want either. The first time going to Favoris there were three soft serve flavours, a couple months later they reduced the choice to only vanilla. I guess it was to save money during the winter, fair enough, but still dissapointing. What is really a dissapointment was when they ran out of icecream entirely. We made a special trip to town for their icecream and they didn't even have any. The individual chocolates look fantastic, but they all taste the same. The was barely any flavour difference between the maple and the banana chocolates. Dissapointing again. I really want to come back to this place and have a great experience like the first time, but they need to seriously pick up their game or I am going to lose interest.

Go for the total summer time sweet indulgence of soft serve ice cream cones dipped in chocolate sauce. You can choose flavors of ice cream, varieties of dipping sauce and the kooky option gives you some custom add-ons. I got the salted caramel sauce with the kooky option that included caramel popcorn and pretzel sticks. Pretty good!

I would recommend you go at least once and try their soft serve dipped cones. I didn’t find them too sweet and the ice cream is of good quality and on the thicker side. The toppings are great and surprisingly not too messy but you will need a napkin or two. The small size is plenty for an adult, I’m a big guy who can eat. Get the mini size for kids. There are other treats available for sale but get the dipped cone and enjoy it. Note it is more on the pricey side.

Chocolats Favoris was our "favorites" place to get ice cream. It's very unique because you can get a cone and a free dipped coating with it. Anything bigger than a small and you're in for a delicious albeit yummy snack! Their milkshakes are absolutely delicious too! We came here twice in 3 days. Plenty of outdoor seating, and they had a live rap artist performing too! Their bathroom is very clean too!

Good Ice Cream. Customer Service was amazing. Big but fast moving lineups. Make sure you do chocolate dip ice cream. I got cheesecake with Blueberry ice cream and coconut ice cream with hazel nut milk chocolate dip sauce. The dip sauce didn't ruin the flavor of the ice cream at all. TIP: If you got scoops you still can dip it in the dip sauce for $1.5 extra. But you loose the cone so make sure to ask for it if you want it!

This store is a delightful treat for a every sweet tooth tourist or not. I got myself a lime slush and my friend a chouchou ???? Lime slush is perfect for me, just the right sweetness and tartness. My friend said the chouchou is way too sweet for her. When we entered the store, it's not very busy so we took the time to ask the nice lady on the counter about our purchase and she kindly explained what's in it. After we ordered, it got busy ???? The interior is very clean and every item is labelled, and is visually appealing, very instagrammable! I highly recommend this store when in Victoria.

Terrible customer service. Made a mess of our order, mixed up the toppings, gave us an incomplete order amd had the audacity to insinuate otherwise. The ice cream was amazing even though we were disappointed in the whole experience. Would never go again.

Stopped by here after a friend recommended it and I was not dissapointed. I got a blueberry/ vanilla swirl baby size ice cream with dark chocolate and dried blueberries, pie crust crumbles, and blueberry drizzle. Couldn't finish even the baby size but it was so delicious! Next time I would do a cup instead of a cone and split it with a friend.

I assume the attraction is in the range of dips, but I found the dip way too thick and waxy (got creamy coffee and it didn't taste like coffee at all, either). Waffle cones would be a huge improvement.

So many flavours and options!!! The kids really loved it, and made an extreme mess while eating it, but for adults, it is REALLY sweet. I know ice cream is supposed to be sweet, but it was just too much…and I had the smallest size!

A nice idea, but since the hot sauce melts the ice cream inside, it immediately starts to drip out any holes in the hardened sauce. If you also have a dog or small kids to mind at the same time, eating it quickly becomes too stressful to enjoy the flavours because you're constantly dealing with melted ice cream dripping down your arms and all over your clothes. My family of four ended up throwing out three out of four half eaten because they were too messy.

I was skeptical, but was nicely surprised. Initially, I was thinking that I could go to McDonalds for a soft cone for under $2, but one cone at Chocolate Favoris was enough for the three of us. There are so many dips to choose from and the one we chose hit the spot. We will definitely go back.

Very nice shop, well appointed with friendly, helpful staff. Chocolates are very tasty. Priced for the tourists but the chocolate is good enough for a repeat visit.

I was SO excited to try this place, as I've been looking for a vegan soft serve ice cream place for years and immediately wanted to go for it after seeing the vegan soft serve sign. I really hate to complain and it takes me a lot to truly write a bad review, but I was extremely disappointed and disgusted by the taste of the vegan vanilla soft serve ice cream -it was sickly sweet and really rich overall! I also got it dipped in vegan chocolate and the dip was so thick once it hardened that it was difficult to eat and not very tasty or great for that matter. It was horrible after the first bite but did not want to waste over $7 (for a small cone!) so i tried to eat half and then threw it away plus the icky mushy cone. So sorry :( but after waiting so long to have soft serve ice cream, it was honestly disgusting sadly!

Enjoyed the soft serve and the experience. You pick the ice cream and the dipping. There's several flavors you can choose from. A tad pricey but my son and I both enjoyed the ice cream immensely.

Good atmosphere and good quality gelato. You can also buy their fondues and chocolate there. A little busy but that's expected for tourist season. Would be 5/5 if they had butterscotch dip. I remember DQ used to have it. I was so sad when they discontinued it. Please chocolat favoris, please make it happen.

Their soft serve is honestly worse than DQ’s dipped cone. The chocolate coating is too thick and has an off-putting sweetness, nothing special about the ice cream either.

Rating a boutique ice cream place seems a bit ironic, but this place is worth paying a little more for. Tons of options from serving size (just get a large, nobody's judging you) to flavors to coatings make the occasional trip well worth it.

The ice cream look good in pictures but they’re way too sweet. We order two small size ice cream cone (chocolate and cotton candy flavors) but couldn’t finish them. The ice cream is wrapped with a very hard layer of chocolate, and it takes a very long time for the kids to get to the ice cream park. I would say this is more for chocolate lovers who can tolerate sweetness, not for ice cream lovers who just want to cool down with yummy ice creams.

Amazing!!! Soft serve dropped in quality chocolate with tons of flavors and combos to choose from. They also had lots of other treats to choose from. The line was long but it moved quickly. Grab a wet wipe near the register, you will need it!

Shoutout to the staff who re-made my cone after it sprung several leaks! Amazing dipped cones - I recommend getting a size SMALLER than what you actually want because they are VERY generous with their servings here. Great staff and great desserts!

The ice cream is great; not too sweet and well textured. The chocolate dip can be quite overwhelming. My wife and I shared a medium and when we were about halfway through the ice cream, it started to get very heavy and overwhelmingly sweet. A baby/mini cone for sharing or per person is probably perfect. The flavours are all amazing and I would highly recommend a visit here!
