Shahni and his team did an incredible job from planning the menu according to my requests , arranging all the rentals to executing event. Highly recommend for events of any size. Best private dining experience I have had in the city, innovative fine dining menu at home .

He was very communicative and make it work with our schedule and what we prefer to have. On time , clean, easy to talk , food was beyond good , even little kids preferred adult food than their own kids. I don’t even like mash potato but it was the best mash potatoes and every thing else was just amazing. Highly recommend him!!!

We wanted a special experience to mark the auspicious occasion of my husband's 80th birthday which generally falls close to Thanksgiving. We had the additional challenge of having a 3 year old and 3 month old baby in the crew so a restaurant meal was not in the cards. Here's where Shahni (Supper Club YVR) and his assistant Leroy came in. They put together a feast that is beyond words to describe. Did I mention that amongst us there are 2 pescatarians, 1 vegan and 2 meat eaters? A bit of a challenging group to feed but not for Shahni. He took the time to ask questions, offer suggestions and was open to making modifications. He curated a menu that fit all our diverse dietary needs. We couldn't have been happier with the result. A true culinary experience. Both he and his assistant were incredibly friendly, knowing just when to step in and add a comment and when to let the family just bask in the moment. Then to top it all off, without us really noticing how it happened, the kitchen was left in immaculate condition which allowed us to enjoy post dinner drinks in a relaxing environment. Thank you Shahni and Leroy for making my husband's transition into his ninth decade a little easier.

Shahni was amazing! He is a young and energetic chef with such an awesome awareness of what his guests will enjoy. His meals were healthy, with gluten-free, and vegetarian options, but more so, they were absolutely delicious! Shahni created numerous meals for us during the week of our daughter's wedding. At the end of it, all of our guests were satisfied. They felt like they had been treated to tasty, unusual, and fancy dishes, while still commending the chef for creating such healthy meals. Shahni listened to our needs and treated us to a variety of fresh and unusual dishes. Some of our favourites included gluten-free pasta with a delicious, creamy sauce, the endive and orange salad, the cornbread, and the faro salad. The roast chicken and the roast pork, were tender and tasty. The deconstructed pavlova was my favourite dessert - oh no wait! It was the apple strudel - or was it the panna cotta?! Shahni and his team cooked, served, and cleaned up afterwards. They were cheerful, hardworking, and really fun to have around. We also appreciated the other members of his team - friendly, dedicated, and talented young people doing an awesome job of making our parties delightful! Can't wait to have him cook for us again.

We got Ephemere SupperClub to cater my brothers bachelor party last summer, it was an epic experience. Shahni started us all with a mean manhattan then a delicious 5 course tasting menu... (the confit chicken pasta was incredible). Highly recommend for any Special occasions or just a gathering you want to have and not worry about cooking, convenience of being at home with a restaurant experience while saving money from not paying high alcohol prices :)

We recently had Chef Shahni cater a garden dinner reception for 60 people. It was a complete success! Chef Shahni was professional, calm and self-assured. He guided the planning of the event from start to finish with care. He had to deal with a short time frame, limited kitchen equipment accessibility and unexpected last minute guests but handled it all graciously leaving me free to enjoy the evening. The food was delicious, seasonal and beautifully presented. His staff was attentive. Our guests raved about it all! I would have no reservations in hiring him again for any event big or small.

Got ephemere to cater my girlfriends belated birthday dinner, they killed it ! Nice little intimate 8 course tasting menu for 6 of us. You could tell how every course was so well thought through. Shahni explained each dish as he brought it to us, where he got the ingredients from and any story attached to it. Very memorable night !

Earlier this year in the summer we had Shahni cater a pre-made, easy to reheat buffet for my partner's 40th birthday in our home. The list of instructions were easy to follow and everything was ready to go upon arrival. Practically every dish on the menu was a hit with all of our guests. We couldn't stop thinking about it since then, so much that we had to book for the second time. Only this time, we went for the private dining experience with in home chef(s) and a server for my mom's 65th birthday. This was one of the best decisions we've made this year! Shahni accommodated us with our specific date and dietary restrictions. Had Leroy, Ronin (my apologies if I'm incorrect here, as they were wearing masks), and Violet handle our in home event. With the limited space and various tables for our guests to dine, they went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had their drinks topped up and food present. As per usual, everyone was raving about the food in the moment and days after. Each guest mentioned the duck repeatedly but we also had others favour the oriecchette w/ lamb and the cauliflower veloute w/ seared scallops. Once the night was over, the team cleaned up the entire kitchen and our cooking ware, and all rentals were handled and put away accordingly. Pick-up of the rentals was dealt with the next day. The overall level of service and communication, as well as the incredible meal, made this a very successful event! We are definitely going to be repeat customers moving forward.
