We had the most phenomenal experience with Tomas and his entire team. We hired Kaleidoscope to cater our wedding at a private residence in PEC - we had never met Tomas nor had we tasted any of his food because we do not live in the County but we wanted to hire someone local to that area. From the first email exchange, I could not be more confident that Tomas knew exactly what we were going for with our cuisine. He created a spectacular menu for us that, due to the limitations of the pandemic, we did not even have an opportunity to do a tasting (our choice, not his - that's how confident I was). Passed hors d'oeuvres included a duck confit corn dog, beef tenderloin butter lettuce wrap, and forest cured trout tartine. Kaleidoscope also created a grazing charcuterie table with local charcuterie and artisanal cheeses. We had a plated summer salad, stone baked flammkuchen, and gourmet slides as multiple dinner courses - we wanted the food to just keep coming and oh my GOODNESS did it ever. We had four passed desserts - a citrus tart, pumpkin mousse, carrot gateaux, and cider beignet made with County cider. I mean, are you kidding me?! I am embarrassed to say that our guests could not make the most of the incredible late night global poutine because never in a million years did I think we would still be so satiated by dinner. Regardless, it was the best poutine, ever. Seriously. Every single guest, including all of our vendors, told us that it was hands down the best food that they had ever had at a wedding, and some of the best food they had ever been served, period. I cannot say enough about our experience with Tomas and Kaleidoscope - I may have to get married every couple of years so that I can hire them again and again. Thank you so so much!
