The owner/operator is a really nice guy. It's a BBQ place so they run out of things pretty regularly, which is to say, be ready to be flexible with your order. It also takes little time so you need to be patient. I tried the ribs my previous visit which were excellent. This time I had pulled pork, a Cajun sausage and a cheddar sausage. My sides were potato salad, baked beans and a cornbread muffin. In terms of the meats, the cheddar sausage stood out. It had way more cheese flavour than expected. The Cajun sausage had a hint of spice. It was ok. The pulled pork was good. There was a lot of bark included. The beans were a bit bland (I regretted not getting the spicier option) but mixing in bbq sauce helped. The potato salad was not my favourite. I'm not sure exactly what my issue was. Maybe too much dill? The cornbread muffin was tiny but nice.

My husband and I were staying in Timmins for the night and were looking for dinner. This place did not disappoint and even delivered to our hotel. The pulled chicken and homemade sausage were outstanding! The jalapeño cheddar sausage had chunks of jalapeño in it. The ribs and pulled pork were also good, but I prefer to have it not swimming in sauce. The creamy coleslaw was homemade and the garlic gave it a great tang. The person we talked to couldn’t have been nicer! We would definitely have food here again if we are in town!

If I could give this place more stars, I would. Can't recommended this place enough. I had the ribs, jalapenos baked beans and slaw and wasn't disappointed. These were the best ribs I've ever had. Flavorful, smells and tastes great and the meat almost falls off the bone. I don't even like beans but these one's are a must try. The service is excellent and the owners are very nice. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Great Southern BBQ! Smoked ribs, chicken, sausage, pulled pork, rib sliders, etc. Take out only, but tables outside in summer. Owner, Dale is truely passionate about his food!

Delicious food, great service. I stopped in nearing closing time and was the only customer there. Luckily they still had some pulled pork and some ribs left over from the day. The meat is slow smoked in a custom smoker and is perfectly cooked: moist and tender. Nice sauce that's neither too sweet nor too smoky. Customer service was excellent, some of the best service I've received in Timmins. Will definitely be back.

After spending a year in the southern US, I can attest that this place serves serious BBQ. The turkey was outstanding and the ribs were excellent! Next time I'm in town I'll be back, and we'll try his dill pickle soup as well!

Hands down the best ribs, chicken and sausage you will find in Timmins. Everything on their menu is delicious and keeps you coming back. The owners are also very friendly and a pleasure to chat with while you're ordering. It's expensive but the value heavily outweighs the price ???? 12/10 would definitely recommend.

Nice local take out with decent bbq.ordered the house special for $20 which included a half rack of ribs, slaw, beans and cornbread (I don't like cornbread so I passed on that). Had a nice chat with the owner will waiting for order, which was ready in about 5-10 minutes. Beans - good flavour with some meat worked in, and the beans were still firm which was nice. Slaw - way too heavy on garlic, and I could feel the burn from it. Ribs - nicely cooked with some pull, but would prefer either less or no sauce on them (they were heavily sauced). There was decent smoke flavour on the meat, but a little covered up by the sauce. The sauce itself was OK but not stand out.

THE absolute best Smoked Chicken Caesar Salads anywhere. Wraps, whether it be brisket, pulled pork or anything else, are delicious and hearty. Custom sausages are so large, they will give anybody sausage envy. Ribs...well, these delicious, Texas smoked ribs prepared on site and served with a succulent sauce are certainly not the run of the mill, vacuum packed frozen ribs you are gonna find at a franchise restaurant. It's a take-out only establishment....but in this day in age....that's all one can get regardless! I'd rate more than 5 stars, however I don't have that option!

Finally had the chance to stop by and pick up some smoked ribs and smoked sausage. The aroma alone was mouth watering and we received very friendly service. There was love smoked into the food. Now I know what my kids mean when they say that I put my heart into cooking some meals. I highly recommend that if you drive by and see the "open" sign, pull in and "Get Ribbed"!!

Stopped in here for lunch while visiting Timmins for work. Owner is very friendly, we had a nice chat while he was preparing the food. Location is pretty much a take-out counter, no room for dine-in eating. Food itself was a mixed bag, I ordered the French-onion brisket wrap and a container of pork burnt ends. The burnt ends were heavenly - absolutely delicious smokey goodness. I was quite surprised then to find that the wrap was unappetizing. Essentially a tortilla filled with soggy onions and beef that more resembled stewing meat than smoked brisket. Bit of a disappointment. I see that the overall reviews for this restaurant are excellent, so I'm hoping I just caught them on an off day. I'd give this place another chance next time I'm in town. If nothing else - I'll order some more burnt ends. Mmmmmm...

The owners of this place have my whole heart. This is the best food hands down in Timmins, possibly the province. Nicest people as well. Very reasonably priced and so delicious. Will be back for sure. Love it!!!!!

If you truly love BBQ, and I mean truly love BBQ, this is the place!!! This man knows his stuff and has a passion for it. I travel all over the US and Canada so I know good Southern BBQ. It’s also why I avoid BBQ at a chain restaurant as they don’t have the time or passion to do it properly. The meat is tender, well prepared and not overly seasoned. Excellent food at a good price. It’s worth the trip
