Disgusting one of the female workers used a dirty rag to clean the side of a food container with a poutine inside than washed the counter with it. And was playing with hair than touching food, really nice en! Prices are very high for dry burgers. NEVER going there again!!!

I question the validity of some of these reviews! It is good, but by no means the best. Service is friendly, but not always concerned about what they say behind the counter. Leslie is amazing, and professional always. I have eaten here many times, and it is really hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great, other times it tastes like it has been sitting waiting for someone to come along.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted. Even though I took my time with the menu the guy behind the counter was very patient. Suggested a few choices and didn't pressure me to buy. When I was leaving he still greeted me a Merry Christmas. Oh and the best part. The pulled pork poutine was amazing!!!

staff was extremely rude. Misunderstanding in the order and the staff told me that I was wrong. Asked to have the order changed out and was told that I got what I ordered. Ordered a small poutine was given a kids poutine. I have come in many times in the past and I have always said small and was never given a kids poutine. After realizing the mistake that was made - I saw that they had three sizes kids, regular and large. Trying to explain this to the employee he simply did not care and did not attempt to fix the issue. He didn't want to hear it and gave me my money back. Sorry Leslie I think it is time to get some new workers.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ! My mother had gone out for dinner with my brother and sister-in-law when they stopped by for a visit from out of town. Everyone loved the food and ate outside on picnic tables keeping their distance from others no problem. My mother, by rare occurrence left her mask and bulging wallet (wouldn't even close) on the seat and didn't realize until the next day due to having a stressful day before. When she discovered it was missing and tried calling the restaurant, they did not open until 3pm and she was frantic that the 1000$ of cash she had just picked up would be donated to the Donovan hood (not the best neighbourhood, known for theft). Her and my uncle returned to the restaurant and banged on the door before opening hours like a crazy person to get the cook inside to acknowledge her, which again in that neighbourhood is likely a normal occurrence. The man finally did come to the door and when she explained her predicament he calmly replied that someone had found the wallet and they had placed it in the safe for her. Happy but fearing the worst (woman who had already cancelled all her cards earlier and who was relying on that cash), she triple checked and found absolutely nothing to be missing from her wallet! Whoever returned it and to the staff at Leslie's, THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND MAY GOOD KARMA FOLLOW! My mother was beside herself. We will definitely keep coming back ! You guys rock ! Oh and the food is beyond awesome of course but that's for another review with pics ????

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant. I have eaten here on quite a few occasions even when they were in the building nextdoor. I have taken my family there during the summer and yes it gets busy and the wait is sometimes longer than some would like but the food is SO worth it. Both my sons favorite thing to eat there is the ENORMOUS pogo's but can never make it through a full one as it's almost as big as he is ????. The fried chicken though I have to say is the best I've ever had.The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. Keep up the great work guys!!!!

PROS - Delicious food - Great Prices - Fast Service CONS - There is absolutely no room to wait for your food when its busy, and because there is only one lineup for order and pickups, you could end up waiting up to 30 minutes to get your food when its been ready all that time. This restaurant loses two stars simply for this reason. Apart from that - the quality is definitely there.

I am visiting Sudbury from out of town and saw Big Al's smiling face. I went in and ordered the Big Boy Meal for $20.99. At first glance the portions of rice and bacon Mac and cheese were huge. Also included 2 pieces of southern fried chicken which were so undercooked that they were soft and chewy on the outside and red in the middle. The porkette tasted of pure pepper. The rice with bacon seemed old and was mushy and tasteless. The only good things were the 2 small ribs and the bacon Mac and cheese. Overall, it was a big disappointment for $20.99. I won't be back. You shouldn't order the undercooked chicken, mushy bacon rice or pepper filled porkette. The ribs were good, stick with those. I didn't bother to complain to the teenagers running the place. I just threw most of it away and left. Still hungry now.

Went to the restaurant to grab a quick bite, my favorite. Poutine.. I get it, and.... Needless to say I ate some, till i was grossed out with all the gravy and cheese that was swimming in my less than none fries. I'm not one to complain about the food there. But when one wakes up at 3am to go to the bathroom, it was not pleasant. Not happy with this meal at all.. Waste of money to me.. And it is my favorite.

Really good big burger. Really good huge sides. Really big portions. It's expensive, but its a lot of food. A reg poutine is large enough to split (do not order it with a burger because it's way way too much), good but very mushy fries, so I order half gravy cuz it's just swimming in gravy. If the portions were smaller I would say it's way too expensive, but since you get so much food it's ok, but best if you split it with a friend. If you are single and only want a regular size meal, then it's double what you pay for normal fast food, and double the food as well. But if you want to pig out and don't mind the price, then this where to go, cost about $20 a person for burger, drink and small poutine.

I love the food that they serve, and will continuously come back. One time I went in to order poutine, and they only had spicy gravy. A man approached the counter, one who I could only assume is the owner of this establishment. He presented me a sample of the gravy they had on hand. I was quite pleased with the taste and enjoyed the fact that I was offered a sample. I ordered and sat down. A few minutes later the same man approached the counter and offered some more free samples. This time it was their fried chicken. I accepted and was shown how delicious their chicken was. Because of this, I will most definitely order chicken from here in the near future. Excellent service and amazing food. The only thing I don't really like is the small waiting area present. But I'm usually never waiting long.

The fries at Leslie's are always good. Today the fish was good, the batter was fairly light in texture and crispy. Overall it was many times better than my last experience. My biggest wish though not only here but in many places, If you can taste the salt, you are using too much. The batter was in my opinion too salty. Still the best burgers in town and many other towns

Went there today as we worked with Leslie and wanted to support local business. It was very busy and hot but the rudeness of the man taking our order will be the reason I don’t go back. He overcharged us by $12.00 and was offended when I questioned him on the overcharge. He rudely told me that he would figure it out and did incorrectly - no apology which would have made a big difference. Everyone makes a mistake but I guess he didn’t like it pointed out by a woman. Food was fine and the outdoor area was very nice to sit at. First and last time.

I never have an issue with Leslie’s. However, when I ordered via SkipTheDishes, I ordered two poutines. Both of my orders had undercooked fries. Probably an isolated incident because I always received top notch food from this location. *Update: I reached out to the owner, and she replied with a genuine apology, and offered a poutine on the house. I really appreciate the gesture. I haven’t taken her up on the offer, but I’ll be a returning because I support small businesses. Also, change the rating from a 2 ⭐️ to a 4 ⭐️

The "spicy" buffalo wrap is over 12$ and it doesn't even have buffalo sauce! I've had spicier farts than that wrap. Advertised as best poutine in sudbury but it's just average soggy brown sauce and cheese. No idea why people pile in that tiny room to wait like that. Better poutine at McDonald's.

Some good chicken, probably the best I've had in sudbury since I moved up from Kentucky. Service was good, nice and quick food was warm. Chicken was good, I'd do it again reminds me of some i found down in Muldraugh. Mac n cheese tho, was super bland and mushy. Felt overcooked noodles and not fully melted cheese overall a frustrating end to a good meal.

Recently, I stopped at Big Al's (Leslie's) because I was craving a pastrami sandwich. I went in, looked around and saw none on the menu. As I was getting into my car, a man, who I presumed was Big Al, rushed up to me and asked why I was leaving and what it was that I was seeking. When I told him, he said,"Just a minute", went inside and came out with a pastrami sandwich which he had just made for himself. He would accept no money. Now, that's service! and, by the way, the sandwich was delicious.

If you are looking for a burger and fries place, this is it. The poutine is what they are known for. Make sure you order with curds and spicy gravy. Their mac and cheese is good too. I find their fried chicken too salty, but it's tasty. I enjoy their chicken or smoked meat wraps.

I order out food 8 to 12 times a week. I recently discovered this restaurant. Oh my God I have never had such home cooking in Sudbury. The southern fried chicken is by far the most amazing chicken I've ever had, wow! I also tried there Mac and cheese and another pasta. It is very clear that this food is made with care and love. They also wrote a very nice thank you on the bag. Who does that anymore? It was an amazing experience all around.

Slow service but the food was good. however I saw someone on line in the kitchen with long hair and no hair net. Having nearly 20 years kitchen experience myself that is a big no no when working on line, hair nets or a hat should be worn by anyone preparing or cooking food.

Very pricey got takeout only. Poutine had 2.00 upcharge to get curds over cheddar.chicken is large size pieces but again pricey. Shakes are many flavors but 4.25.

Leslie's is always great. I usually stick with the poutine, pogos,fried chicken and steaksandwhich but I have tried other menu items and have been pretty pleased with what I order. I don't eat too often or I try not to but as everyone knows it the best poutine place in Sudbury so if your gonna get one then...

This place totally rocks. Poutine is the best in Sudbury period. Philly cheese steak wow. Burgers are huge and inexpensive. Leslie herself very friendly and also her staff very friendly and fast. Its busy but that speaks for itself. Enjoy I did and will again.

great food, quick if you call and order first before showing up. only downside is sometimes the gravy is spicy, even though I ask for regular.

Seriously! This place is great! Hey people, this is fast food... but wow! I was really impressed with the portions (largest chicken wings you’ll eat)... and their sides are to die for! Leslie, keep up with the awesome in-house gravy, it’s a plus on... everything! LOL! Keep it up! You’re my go to place for fast food when I have people in town.
