Overpriced. The cheese tastes good but the cooks don't know how to use it. I had to remove the prosciutto off my pizza because it tasted really bad and even then I only ended up eating two slices.

One of the best restaurants in the town. Service is just outstanding and the food is also very good. We got there close to their closing time but they went out of their way to make sure that we can order even after their closing time. The cleanliness standards for COVID-19 are great. There's hand sanitizer everywhere and the restaurant patio is very clean and the tables are socially distanced from each other. Would recommend going here if you are in Sudbury.

Just WOW! Amazing food, very attentive service staff, was their for Grandmothers 80th birthday and although they were quite busy the attention that they had paid to our group was outstanding! I give four stars only due to my 9 year old daughter (who was the youngest of our party) was one of the last people to be served. Prices were quite reasonable and selection was just large enough to give a wonderful variety yet small enough that deciding what to try wasn’t so difficult. On the whole amazing! Food 10/10, Atmosphere 10/10, Service 9/10, Attentiveness 10/10 100% will return on special occasions or a date night with the wife! 100% recommend this lovely hidden gem to anyone who has yet to go!

The food was excellent!!I started with a martini and Mike our waiter sure knows how to make them. The bruchetta was caramelized onions, roasted and goat cheese. I had the risotto silano (mushroom and sausage). I finished my meal with one of the best crème brûlée I have ever had and an excellent cappuccino!!This was my first time and hopefully not the last!!

This restaurant is one of the best in Sudbury and this is the second time I visited and I was not disappointed! I had the grilled Seafood plate and it was absolutely delicious... scallops were done perfectly the lobster was delicious and the tuna was cooked to Perfection as well... I was also pleased with the vegetables which were all done perfectly and tasty! I was also pleased with the service has the waiters did their best to make the somewhat picky crowd I was with as happy as possible. I hope to return again soon!

The food is quite good and the service was exquisite. Probably the best calamari that i have ever eaten, served steaming hot, with a little spice and not too chewy. My penne was decent as was my partner's veal. Place has a nice look to it.

My wife and I dined there this evening to celebrate our 26th anniversary. Romina provided excellent service and great conversation about our mutual native land, Italy. The food was simply amazing!! My ravioli calabrese was to die for, and my wife’s gnocchi was equally delicious. To top it all off, the the newly renovated interior completed the relaxing, delightful dining experience. Can’t wait to go back. If you haven’t been there lately, you need to go. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is spotless from top to bottom. The staff are friendly and when i could not get my tv to work they came and fixed it within minutes. 5 minute drive to big box stores and restaurants. I will stay here before the big chain hotels.

Was recommended by a friend, so we decided to try it out. Pretty fast service, and good portions. We were both full by the time we were done. Which is nice considering other "similar" places in Sudbury aren't like that. We both enjoyed our dinner, but can't give true opinion of the menu since we've only been here once. What we ordered our first visit, however, was fantastic. Gnocchi with prosciutto in a red wine rosé sauce for myself, and a sea food risotto for my hubby. I was actually quite surprised with how much seafood there was in his risotto. At least a dozen shells around the plate, and plenty of other stuff, shrimp, calamari etc, mixed throughout. One thing to note, a reservation does seem required. They were a little hesitant to seat us at 5:15pm because the table was reserved for 7pm, but the service was fast enough that we had plenty of time. :-)

Only gave it three stars, because I've never been in there and from what I've seen it is very high class men in suits there family pearl wearing wives and what I hope in their daughters haha Anyway just isn't my scene or my crowd. I naturally assume the menu is very pricey. K suffer from single mom syndrome. Top side effect is empty wallet, late night worrying about bills and to small check budgets haha who knows could be awesome. Also not to fond about the street itself and the girls that get there 20,000 steps a day in on just one stretch of road.

2018 update: their food has become more consistent and is now an always 5 star experience. Go here. The wait staff here is superb. They're always on point and super friendly. All of the appetizers are great, but I especially love the escargot. The main courses vary in quality sometimes. I've been disappointed in a dish only to come back and get the same dish again and be amazed by it. If they could keep their quality consistent on their entrees, they'd be five stars.

We had our Christmas lunch here just recently, we pre-ordered, although our order was sent via email(the email didn't bounced back) they claimed they never received it. The owner who was supposed to be serving us never smiled, not even a forced smile. She looks grumpy. They never serve bread, disappointing. The food is ok, probably because we're starving when they finally served it.

Fresh noodles, made on site. This is the real deal. Authentic Itallian food. I love fettichini alfredo and frequent olive garden ect for it. This was the best fettichini alfredo I've ever had. Location is concerning but what can they do? This restaurant belongs in Ottowa or Toronto.

We found this restaurant via trip advisor while staying overnight in Sudbury. It promised to be a good place. Most comments where favourable. We also experienced outstanding decor, good service and good food. Yet, the presentation of the food was tired and uninspiring but the food delivered good wholesome taste. Really truly too bad when in today’s day in age where photos of ingenious plating is found all over the internet. It is the eye that sees the food before it is being tasted. Just a few extra steps to be outstanding rather than just good.

Let me tell you this place is buck nasty home slice. If you want ghetto street italian treats look no farther brotendo. The sauce is horrific, the meat balls gave me savage sweats. Spaghetti so Al dontrey it was disturbing. Don't get me started on the clam chow. The garlic bread reminded me of the Soviet Union.

Don't be fooled by the location and exterior. This place is a gem. A must-do when in Sudbury. Real Italian food... their Crespelle is one of the top 3 things I have ever eaten in my life and I've travelled extensively. Really tasty, excellent Italian food; as good as any of the top Italian restaurants in Toronto or Woodbridge.

Had a work Christmas luncheon twice at this restaurant and both times it was highly disappointing. They lost our order, gave us full salads and charged us for full salads when they should have been a side that came with the meal to which they also charged full price but never give you the actual side or a discount for not being given your side. Also, they like sit you so tight together that you have to eat with one arm behind your back. I do not recommend or suggest. I'm not going to give them a third chance.

Was alot of excitement going to Bella Vita. I really enjoyed the menu. They are kid friendly, even though ours was a little wild, it was a good first experience. The decor I feel lacked a bit of character and the atmosphere was missing something, there was no energy in the building. Maybe a little more enthusiasm from the staff would help. This was our second time here and have to tell you, it doesn't get much better than this in Sudbury! We had the Winterlicious 3 course meal and everything was perfect, a steak as good as I've had anywhere and pumpkin gnocchi so light and pillowy I don't know how it stays on the plate. Great service, music not too loud, a perfect night out with the love of my life... my beautiful wife! Bravo!

Visited Bella Vira Cucina for the first time on a Friday with a bunch of girlfriends. This place usually requires reservations because it is very popular. They do not take reservations between 6 and 7pm on Friday and Saturday, so we made one for 5:30. It was full when we arrived but our table was ready. The menu was varied and the specials were fish dishes, as one would expect on a Friday. The wine list had nice variety and there was something there for everyone. I chose to keep it simple with a house salad (baby greens with a light olive oil and balsamic dressing) and cod with prosciutto and mushrooms in a light white wine reduction served with linguini al olio. A cup of espresso finished it off. Others had a variety of dishes and said their meals were delicious. Not a single complaint from anyone about the food or service. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. The wait staff was very busy but appeared enough times to ensure service was sufficient. We had a leisurely dinner and were not rushed out the door. The only problem was the sound. There were times when we had a hard time hearing each other and we were not a large party nor are we hard of hearing. It might have been where we were sitting or it could have been the fact that the restaurant was full. I would go back and I would recommend this place if you're looking for a high quality Italian restaurant. Be prepared to drop a few dollars here. I spent $80, including 1/4 litre of wine. They do have a lunch menu, but I doubt it takes less than an hour to do justice to the food.

Not much to look at on the outside and really not very fancy inside but the food was like nothing that I've ever had before. Our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu. The rest of the staff were very attentive and friendly but not overbearing. We were able to have an intimate evening out and would definitely go back.

Had a fantastic dinner at Bella Vita Cucina earlier this week! My guest and I split the Beef Carpaccio and Mussels to start, both were exceptional! Next we had the Gnocchi and Vodka Penne. The Vodka Penne was incredible, I could eat that 7 days a week. My guest thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi, I prefer a slightly firmer gnocchi, but the flavour was excellent. My guest had a steak cooked to perfection and I had the grilled seafood platter as my main. I prefer scallops pan fried, but as I moved onto the shrimp, salmon, and lobster tail it was clear each component was executed perfectly. The only thing we wish was different on the mains was the veggies. Lastly I indulged in their creme brûlée! It's nice to see vanilla beans in the bottom of the dish! Overall an exceptional meal with exceptional service. Their team works together like a finely tuned machine. The service provided is "proper," I truly wish more places operated this way. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Made a reservation to have a birthday dinner for four. Had the gnocci. It was excellent, as were the appetizers. Everyone in the group enjoyed their food. I would have given 5 stars if not for the service, which while not terrible, was lacking. Drink orders forgotten or delayed. Some asked if they want more drinks, others not asked. If there are only 4 tables with customers in the whole place, the service should be excellent. Lastly, if we're spending this kind of money at your restaurant, you can at least have the courtesy to wait until customers have left before packing up the patio and stacking the chairs.

Great dinning experience with friendly and accomodating staff. Food was top notch with a good variety to choose from. Don't let the neighborhood fool you. This is one of the best restaurants in town. Just lock your doors if you are parking here. I'll be back for sure.

I had the mushroom ravioli & it was to die for, my husband had the beef tenderloin special, cooked to perfection and ate it all. Thank You so much for the beautiful tasty Valentines meal...Only thing missing was your delicious banana cheesecake ❤️

We went for lunch and it was almost sold out on a Tuesday. The mussels appetizer was really good. I only saw one server so the service could have been faster. We had the special of penne with beef. It was slightly hot and could have been served hotter. Other than that the meal was excellent.

Omg delishous ...the service was excellent!! Big portions the homemade gnocchi melted in your mouth and it was just like we made when we were kids with my mom and dad❤️❤️❤️. For dessert I had creme brule and it was the best????????. We will definitely go back and highly recommend going for dinner ????????????. We had a table of five on a Saturday night. We made a reservation because we had a function to attend later in the evening. The service was excellent with attentive and knowledgable staff.
