Used to really love this place. Sandwich options are great, and they have quality ingredients. I feel like they've gotten a little stingy with the amount of meat/cheese in recent years, while the prices have stayed more or less the same. New location is smaller, and the service feels a little slower. Still a nice spot for a sandwich lunch though.

While I haven't had a chance to sit and have a meal in-house, YSK is my favourite go-to place for catering lunch meetings at work. Whether it's for 12 or 120, they've always provided great, fresh lunches that continue to wow our guests (and wonderful customer service to boot!).

I went with friends for lunch before class and after 40 minutes had to ask when my sandwich would be coming because I had to get to class. It was handled really well and we got our sandwiches to go at half price. I got a basic sandwich with one piece of meat that would have been $14 and didn't even get the tomato soup I'd ordered because they'd run out. However, the wait still seems way too long for a simple sandwich and the food is overpriced.

Incredibly overpriced. Payed $17 for a basic ‘build your own sandwich’ and a drink. Sandwiches aren’t even worth half that amount. You’re better off going to subway up the street where you can get a sandwich, drink and chips for less then that. Not impressed.

This is the best sandwich shop I've ever been to! Ingredients are always fresh, my favourite is the Thai chicken salad and the Othello's really filling for being vegetarian. I go out of my way to come here to have it whenever I'm in the area and it's the perfect meal to have before catching a play at the Avon theatre. Filling and delicious!!!!

Ordered the corn beef hash. Home fries were soggy, eggs were burnt and the corn beef was sparse and flavorless. Although the food came quickly (the place was at 1/3rd capacity) the server did not come by and offer us coffee or water refills. In fact, they didn't bring me any water. Which is weird since they brought it to my table mates. Possibly they thought because I ordered coffee I didn't want water but since a server never came back once to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else I didn't really get a chance to ask for water.

Here's a great idea; cut a bunch of onions at the front counter and make all your customers have stinging eyes, runny nose and difficulty breathing. Don't apologise for doing it and give death glares when told to cut it in the back instead. Our poor 1 year old could barely see, as his eyes were so watered up. Don't forget to joke about cutting the onions too. Took our 2 sandwiches to go, due to being unable to handle the stench. Total cost was around $18.50 for two basic sandwiches. Is it worth $9/sandwich? Nope, this looks like something I can make at home with left over groceries. I think management tells the staff to skimp on meat and ingredients. There was a review saying they're closing. I don't think they'll be missed.

York Street Kitchen was fun the music was great lots of classic rock. The food was delicious and I had the Othello and the French Onion Soup. The staff was courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is way cool it has a diner feel with neat pictures and art. I also had the Revel Nitro cold brew coffee. The Othello sandwich was amazing it had roasted peppers, cheese and olives. I really liked it.

I love this place! Been going for years when we visit Stratford. Nice, substantial, creative sandwiches with gluten free bread that is quite nice and doesn't fall apart. Location is great. We took our sandwiches down by the river and listened to live music while eating lunch. Highly recommend for a casual meal.

Staff could use some improvement in customer service. We sat and ordered a meal and the staff began grating onions right at the ordering counter - and this place is tiny! It was very warm inside and onions overpowered us. We began tearing up, noses running. We asked the staff to please do that elsewhere. We got an eyeroll "sure" and dirty looks. We got our food packed up to leave as we were choking on onions. Another table complained as well. And $18 for 2 wonderbread sandwiches and a pickle seems a bit much based on portion size and ingredients.

Well, i usually come here for the great tasting sandwiches, but yesterday the service was absolutely terrible. They said that they would bring them out in like 10 minutes, and we waited an hour outside and still nothing. Finally, we went in to ask them what's going on, and they gave us the sandwiches in another 10 minutes. They did not apologize for the wait. We then walked to the park to eat, and to our surprise, the pickle we ordered on the side leaked all over everyone's sandwiches. Even worse, they got all of our orders wrong (mine had no turkey, my friend's had no rhubard.) What an absolute disgrace of a restaurant.

My friend and I were sadly disappointed. We both got a sandwich, both of which were small and overpriced. My friends sandwich had very little meat. Mine, being vegetarian was very basic and like I said, overpriced for the quality and size. We won’t be returning. On a good note, the bread was fresh.

Homemade sourdough bread is not authentic. It is a soft white bread. Thai chicken salad? ? No way! !! The tiny Greek salad was ok. Nothing special here.

I would share a photo of my lunch, but I ate it all too quick! I LOVE that they have an app that I can order ahead with and redeem points for a free sandwich. I have never sat in and dined, only take out but the shop is super adorable. I much rather buy a sandwich here then subway. My favorites are Thai Chicken and Mennonite. Great, friendly staff and they make an effort to call you by name! :)
