It's McDonald's..one of only a few fast food places in Yellowknife with a drive through. Fries are usually extremely salty, muffins dry and long lineups. And of course there milkshake and icecream machines break down on a regularly basis. Drive through staff are usually pretty nice and friendly.

Stopped for lunch on our way across the island in a skidoo trip to feed 4 adults and 5 children. Parked our truck and trailer at the rear of the building out of way of traffic as there is no clear space to park a truck and trailer. Instead of blocking 5-8 parking spaces on the side of the building. While enjoying our lunch with our children a very ignorant worker came to our table and rudely asked us to get our truck and trailer out of the way. We stated it wasn’t blocking traffic or drive thru and we would be leaving in 5-10 minutes again. She continued to be rude, ignorant and on a power trip saying it needed to be moved immediately. My husband had to forfeit his meal to go move the truck and trailer to neighbouring subway, who were more than welcoming to us using their parking. McDonald’s Grand Falls will not receive our business or friends business anymore on our many trips across the island.

I brought my 2 year old and new born baby to the play place side of mcdonalds. I was disapointed by the cleanliness and state of the equipment there was inappropriate writing in the toddler section aswell as lighter burn marks all over the childrens play gear throughout ontop of all that when i firat walked in there was a drugged out younger lady hiding in the back corner by herself nodding off while her head was bobbing around i told her too get out. I know checking 15 year olds for lighters before entering would be difficult but people who can barely stand up on their own shouldent of been able too make it in their let alone every surface in their is coated in sticky residue asif it hasent been cleaned in weeks although we were probably the first ones in there this morning. I dont like too think about how a toddler area where kids put their mouths on everything is so close too drug related and possible disease infected contamination. I mean that lady had probably been up all night and too think about what she had touched and where she had been before walking in their with toddler toys and zero cleaning is disgusting

Old McDonalds, a burger franchise that soaks the globe and dishes out meals on a grand enough scale to probably have some sort of secret super intense following. The location is alright, clean, they serve food as you may or may not have expected. Fun fact the documentary Supersize Me isn't a documentary, its results are non-replicable and I don't just say that because I'd take a McSponsorship in a heartbeat. It's just important to be conscious of the content you consume and the why behind it. McD sure ain't good to you but Supersize Me is a super sized lie. The more you know. Be a conscious consumer.

I enjoyed the food and the hygiene was great, however there was one thing that ruined the atmosphere. They have a 3 foot tall Raven in store. It has its own table and seems to be an incredibly arrogant creature. It stared at my fries, so I offered it one. It took it. Then it excreted on the chair next to me. Please remove this raven. Or at least make it wear a diaper.

I gave an extra star because some of the staff are quite friendly. I can't remember the last time I didn't have to clean and wipe a table before I sat down. Even then, half an hour later the tables next to me don't get cleaned, yet I've seen the same person mop the same area three times in the same span. Passing employees never check in or offer to clear trays when finished with. The "best employer" stickers they keep in their windows are very outdated and almost ironic to look at. Service just used to be better.

VERY disappointed in my breakfast this morning. Got the BLT bagel with sausage patty instead of bacon and it was horrible! Bagel was so hard I couldn't bite into it, lettuce was disgustingly rotted and there was so much mayo it should have been called MAYO WITH SIDE OF HARD BAGEL. They don't stir your coffee. Seems like 9 times out of 10 they mess your order up somehow. Don't bother walking up to the counter either. Use the kiosk because it takes them 10 minutes to come take your order at the counter even when they see you waiting there.
