(Translated) On July 21, 2021 we had dinner at the restaurant at Omer's. Our table is directly under a speaker. I ask the waitress to lower the sound and she answers me that she cannot lower the sound lower or we will not hear the music in the other room. She can not move us either even if the restaurant is 80% empty "everything is reserved". The wine chosen is no longer available (the SAQ site shows 12 in Sept-Îles and 25 in Port Cartier), the wine glasses are really very very stained, I ask the waitress to replace them, she tells me : "it's just water that has dried up"; it will replace them anyway. The chosen squid appetizer is no longer available but it does not offer us an alternative. The dish: blah, an industrial roll, the fries are soft, the salad is swimming in its vinaigrette. Gulf shrimp and scallops are very good though. The day after, checking the bill, I noticed that the waitress still loaded us with the squid. In short, this restaurant does not deserve the publicity that we make of it. (Original) Le 21 juillet 2021 nous avons Soupé au restaurant chez Omer. Notre table est directement sous un haut parleur. Je demande à la serveuse de baisser le son et elle me répond qu'elle ne peut pas baisser le son plus bas sinon on n'entend pas la musique dans l'autre salle. Elle ne peut pas non plus nous déplacer même si le restaurant est à 80% vide "tout est réservé ". Le vin choisi n'est plus disponible (le site de la SAQ en montre 12 à Sept-Îles et 25 à port cartier) , les verres à vin sont vraiment très très tachés, je demande à la serveuse de les remplacer, elle me dit: "c'est juste de l'eau qui a séché"; elle les remplacera quand-même. L'entrée de calmars choisie n'est plus disponible mais elle ne nous propose pas d'alternative. Le plat: bof, un petit pain industriel, les frites sont molles, la salade nage dans sa vinaigrette. Les crevettes du golfe et les pétoncles sont très bons par contre. Le surlendemain en vérifiant la facture, je constate que la serveuse nous a quand même chargé les calmars. Bref, ce restaurant ne mérite pas la publicité qu'on en fait.

A very high bill for a meal that was not worth so much. Guess ... we didn't have dessert. But we left a tip for the waitress who after this first evening deserved it. Nous étions désolés pour la serveuse, qui était toute jeune, débutait sa première journée dans ce restaurant et n'arrêtait pas de s'excuser pour le retard en cuisine. Elle a été chercher elle-même nos assiettes en cuisine. Mon mari a aimé son plat (moules au curry qui ne goûtaient pas le curry) et moi un pavé de saumon grillé avec légumes qui nageaient dans l'huile. Une facture très élevée pour un repas qui ne valait pas si cher. Devinez...nous n'avons pas pris de dessert. Mais nous avons laissé un pourboire pour la serveuse qui après cette première soirée le méritait bien.

Compte tenu que le site internet mentionne que le restaurant offre les commandes pour apporter, nous demandons la possibilité de commander un club au crabe et une pizza pour apporter en nous disant que nous n'aurons pas fait la route pour rien. On nous répond que ce n'est pas possible non plus puisqu'il ne font pas de commande pour apporter cette journée là. Aucune accomodation possible!!!!!
