A vegan butcher... A strange but delightful concept! My deli jackfruit BBQ "pulled pork" and tuna-less tuna salad were delicious. They are the only vegan retailer in Toronto that I found to sell canned mock fish too.

This place is absolutely FIRE. My partner & I are veg heads and YamChops is easily our new favourite place to order from. We saw them on BlogTO and had to give them a try. All of their menu items have been awesome, but the pizza dogs and "Chicken" schnitzel are to die for. If you're a non-vegan, be warned... this place alone could easily convert you!

Staff are very friendly but after mentioning a few times that I cannot eat anything with garlic (food allergy), and thinking I was in the clear to order a moded dish, the tortilla of my wrap contained garlic (was later sick and looked up the nutrition info - garlic in the tortilla). This was not mentioned to me and was told the wrap was okay. Eating out is a challenge and I usually avoid doing so for this reason so it is frustrating when you trust the staff serving you after being very open and direct about an allergy but you can still get sick. May seem small to some but it impacts the rest of my day and my health. Will not be going back, unless to get food pre packaged by outaide companies.

Awesome options from the ready food section. Crabless cakes, chick’n schnitzel, ribs, and other things. Sadly when I went they were sold out of the vegan bacon and of course at the moment the Beyond Burger but I managed to snag some Cowgirl Steaks and Gyro seitan. Cashier was super nice. Smaller shop than I thought!

I visited the YamChops location on College Street in Toronto on November 2nd for their Italy Fest to welcome people to try out their food. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and super helpful around the store. I got a lot of information about all their products and their food cooked in house. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious! Extremely flavourful and great prices. I am definitely going back to visit again and I love the fact that they have an online delivery system! I 100% recommend YamChops!

I was in search of something warm and yummy for my walk home, and the staff yesterday were welcoming, and helpful. I loved the vibe they had going on. I got the schnitzel sammie. Loveeee this place. My wife is vegetarian and she craves this place very often. I have to drive all the way from Brampton to this location but it is worth her smile and it is absolutely worth all the food. I wish they have more samplings. Also, I wish they were open till 9 pm but they usually close at 7. Hoping for the next location to open is Mississauga!

I brought my friend for a try for vegan bbq ribs. I was really disappointed with the service. The Asian girl didn’t paid any attention to ask for cutlery, ask for bbq sauce, bag or anything. I literally had to ask for everything and after we went to the park. The ribs were cold and not cut as other times. I love the food and I used to come more often. I don’t think that I would be coming back anymore.

Vegan heaven... prices in some items are a little higher than supermarkets yet the place where you find most vegan items in one place. They have a wrap and food service and the wraps are great, the food is always fresh looking and tasting and the variety of vegan items at the store is overwhelming ( in the best of ways)

This place is so cool. It's set up as a vegan deli. The selection is great, the staff are sweet, and the decor is cool. You can get a meal to eat immediately, or pick up the ingredients to make an unforgettable vegan meal. They even have desserts and ice cream. Get an ice cream cone while there. Trust me. There's no pic because I ate it immediately.

Excellent little "vegan butcher shop". Oddly enough, situated right next to a real butcher shop. Great options, most frozen or fresh to take him and heat up. Only 1 or 2 options to eat there (prepared). For those of you that haven't, please try their "Montreal style" burger patties... They are honestly to die for!

I had never bought anything from Yamchops before. I connected with Julie with product questions before I went in person (I live in west Mississauga) and she was great to answer all my questions and made recommendations. I bought many things and have so far tried the Chick*n Schnitzel, Culchered Sriracha Jalapeno cheese, Chik*n Souvlaki and Yamchops Tzatziki sauce which are all are so delicious! They have the best pricing for Beyond Meat burgers and sausages. Georgia and Nina in the store were really friendly to tell me about more of their products. The store is immaculate! Can’t wait until they open up the seating area for dine in!

Ok. I know plant based foods are good for you/health- but I just don’t enjoy them as much as non-plant based foods lolll! BUT Yam Chops is simply delish! I was duly impressed as was my wife! We had their Amsterdam pizza dog (I love hot dogs!), pork Taco (which was so amazing) & their creamy potato salad (delish!). The service was also exceptional by the young lady that served us. Friendly, personable & informative. I would highly recommend Yam Chops & I thought I’d never say that about a plant based food option. I’m a believer! Kudos ????

I wasn't looking for food while walking College waiting for a show at Mod Club, but I could not resist walking into this place. I saw the schnitzel and I had to have it. No regrets! They appeared to be out of a lot of stuff, but that's always a good sign. What they did have left looked amazing, and if I had been hungry, I would have sampled more. Great staff, great atmosphere... and the schnitzel is worth going in for alone!

The food made in-house is unbelievable!!! I served the filet mignon for Christmas, I was hesitant because of the price, but it was well worth it, and I can't wait to have it for every holiday. Yamchops has lots of options of vegan food but their items made in house are by far the best!!!

I had a great experience here. There was so much to choose from that it took a while to even decide what to order. The imitation meats all looked and tasted great and could almost fool you into thinking they were real. I had the Szechuan "Beef" bowl with "chicken" substituted for the beef and it was delicious. The place itself was also very clean and the employees were all very friendly. I look forward to visiting again.

So we enjoyed the samosas, large variety of vegan items and the kind girl behind the food area. I've been vegan for 5 years, I know there will be a price difference but this store is really way overpriced. 8.99 for 6 cheese sticks. I've been to other stores and have seen some of the same items priced 2-3 less. I wouldn't come back unless I'm in the area and felt like a samosa. It's a cute store and glad I checked it out but can't return to those prices.

I ordered the sampler pack and so far have only tried the jackfruit pulled pork. I used it in lettuce wraps with bean and corn salsa and guacamole and it was fantastic! Nice flavour bbq sauce with a hit of heat. I had never tried jackfruit before and this was a great first experience! I will update when I try the other items :)

Very nice vegan meat substitute. Not like the best in town, but def better than other "meat substitute wraps" places. All the meat they use is on display so you can pick what looks tasty. $24 bucks for 2 wraps (not small, but big), but that's what you pay for controlling your passions and become the master of your own self. There's a parking on the street behind it or the metro plaza across.

SOOO good!! The imitation beef is by far the best thing I tasted. They offer samples of the meat and it tastes like and has the texture of real meat. They offer some unique sauces and vegan foods that you can't get at a grocery store or outside Toronto. The staff was friendly and I would definitely go again!!

Yummy wraps and stuff, fun deli selection. Products are a bit pricier than say Freshco or No Frills, but of course waaaaay more selection of vegan products!

Love everything here and the staff are always friendly! I'd highly recommend the Szechuan "beef", the falafel wrap, kale Caesar and Moroccan quinoa salad. Great selection of cold-pressed juices too!

I came in here today and was blown away! I'm not even vegetarian and I had to buy the burgers and general tso "chicken". I was able to try a few samples and it really convinced me to commit to a purchase. The workers behind the counter were so pleasant and patient! I'll certainly be back!
