Bought Kothu Roti at this takeout and catering location. The taste of Authentic Kothu Roti isn’t there. It tastes off. The veggie Kothu Roti tastes a lot better. It must have something to do with the mutton curry they used. The place looks like it needs to be renovated. Service was quick but I must say there is only one person serving customers so if there’s a lot of people in line, you’re waiting 10 to 15 minutes. The place didn’t seem as clean as it should be respectively IMO. Put some quality into your orders and get the place renovated and you’ll see repeat business customers. It’s in a good location for the local residents that live near by.

Never order from this place! I ordered food for my daughter's birthday, when i went to pick it up at the set time it wasnt ready, took an extra hour. Even that was ok but the food sucked, all the food was way too salty. Eggplant pickle had more onions than eggplant. Devil shrimp was basically just cooked. I would say this is the worst food I've ever ordered!!!! Dont buy from this place, waste of $200

Visited them after some time. It's a Vegetarian take out now. Quality food the Chef has been in business in Canada for more than 20 years and I can as a customer for all that time state that he continues to maintain and improve on his work. He did provide the food for my daughter's wedding nearly 15 years back.

today i went thee for rice and curries with separate containers and those small containers are only filed by 75% of curries so rest of the 25% is curries on that containers they try to save and they putting those curries in the kitchen so you have no idea until you open the parcel at home ... they thinking they are smart enough to rip off customers ......i feel like it is a real rip off when you pay almost $10 .

We only go there for their hand tossed Roti and it's really nice and plenty. Only 2 stars because they tend to use old curries for their rolls and patties stuffing...well yesterday I had one of their mutton rolls, immediately I can tell the stuffing has gone bad. Its a very deceiving practice and apparently standard across the Tamil catering industry. the roll on the outside was fresh and crispy, but inside was horrible to say the least and I got food poisoning. Never again buying any short eats from these guys..

these people don't like to wear mask. they also let too many people in at once. while some responsibility need to be demonstrated by the patrons, ultimately the owner needs to take charge of ensuring that the restaurant does not exceed capacity which he fails to do repeatedly. he also talks into the food without mask. he is not open to feedback and discriminates those who speak in English because he can't speak basic English and assumes that everyone can speak Tamil and choose not to. these are his own internal issues. and even if one can speak Tamil fluently, they have the right to speak in English because this is an English and French speaking country. He gets angry and treats patrons poorly for not conversing in Tamil because of his own inability to speak/understand basic English to serve food. If he can't learn basic English to do his work, he needs to be in the kitchen and hire staff who can speak both languages to serve food. going back to the bigger issue which is not following government protocols re: covid-19 and public health guidelines re: safe food handling. i am highly concerned about what, if anything, is being followed inside the kitchen. if you're looking for good vegetarian place, Daata is excellent in terms of cleanliness, following government protocols for food establishments, quality of food as well as customer service

Best Medhu Vada (Urad Daal Vada) or Vadai as Tamil people call it, whatever you may call it, but one thing is for sure that Veerar makes the best in town. Try some of their other similar snacks and chatani all done to perfection. And all of this is priced very reasonable.
