Shree Hari Foods is a small takeout place for authentic Gujarati food in Scarborough. I have tried their gujarati thali, khaman, dhokla, sev khamani, dabeli and churma laddoo a few times. All items are delicious and freshly prepared. My only suggestion to them would be to reduce the oil a bit in some of the vegetable curries they provide in the thali option. Other than that, I can vouch for the quality and taste.

Excellent Khandvi! In my opinion, the mark of a good Gujarati eatery lies in their ability to make a good Khandvi. I went here today for the first time and ordered just the khandvi, fully expecting to be disappointed. But they truly pleasantly surprised me. The khandvi was delicate, not overly salty, well cooked and delicious! Will be back to try more of their food, soon.

I like the food here and the quantity is sufficient for me. The food is like home food which is a good thing, healthy. I usually always order Thali.The only complain or rather request I would have is to give the option to pair kadi with khichdi and not rice. also with rice if there was another variety of daal like garam masala daal or gol imli daal with sing, it would be great.

This is the probably only place where all the items in the menu are seriously delicious. Khaman, Samosas, Kopra Patties, Lilva Kachori are must try. Gentlemen and lady behind counter are very polite and accommodating. They will warm up food if needed although most items are fresh prepared. Please have little patience once you order. Great place.

A must try gujarati thali in Scarborough. We had ordered 10 thalis with Undhyu, kadhi, puri,chole, rice.. well packed..very tasty.. We had ordered Patti Samosa along with the thali which was exceptionally good and all our guests loved the food. SHRI HARI kept the food ready before 9am on a sunday as we had an early morning function...so 1 extra STAR for the service and punctuality

The side dishes (chole, dal etc) tasted good. But very, very oily. If I tilt the container a lot of oil flowed out. Even the dhokla was soaked in oil. In all honestly, I think a pack of French fries from a fast food place will have less oil than a small curry from here. The gulab jamoon was definitely not fresh and had a chemical taste. Found a piece of plastic in the rice. If you care about your health, you won’t eat here.

Taste is really good. But at what cost? I was ready to wait for 1 hour for my fafda and jalebi as the server said it will take 45 minutes to one hour. I thought it will be hot and fresh. After waiting for one and half hour instead of one hour I got my food cold as ice cream. No doubt taste of food was fantastic, but it would be great if I got it hot and fresh as I waited for more than one hour.

This is by far the best authentic Indian food I’ve ever had. From the food to the customer service, everything is beyond amazing here and I would definitely call this my go-to spot. You really can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here since they’re all freshly made and super tasty. I strongly recommend giving this store a visit if you haven’t already. I’ve had the samosas from here many times and the taste is always so flavourful and consistent. Plus, the free chutney that comes with the samosas is definitely 6 STARS!!! Don’t even get me started on the khaman. Shree Hari Foods is definitely worth every penny.

The restaurant is neatly tucked away in a business area, so isnt that easy to find. The food was fresh but since we went later in the day, a lot of things ran out such as roti. White dhoklas are delicious! We ordered thali and were not disappointed. Patra was ok. Their kadi is awesome!

We have been there to have poori bhaji ,the person who took order and payment said that the poori will be fresh and what we got is the poori posted here which tasted like one day old at least even the texture was like that. When we told them about this,they were like no we made it in morning. Not recommended and will never visit again!!! Highly disappointed.
