Awesome food. Combination of noodles , devilled tofu and pickled eggplant. Cutlets and rainbow sandwiches were great starters. Got delivered on time even though it was a cold night and all the way to Brampton. Thank You Rajaram for wonderful customer experience.

I have ordered on numerous occasions from Rajah Ram caterers, specifically due to my utmost trust and confidence in Ms Kamala who was our Home Science teacher at Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Rajah Ram has never failed to deliver on our catering orders. To my knowledge they have been in operation for approximately thirty (30) years - that’s a very long time to maintain a catering business while adhering consistently to the highest standards of professionalism, cleanliness, quality, taste and generous portion sizes, while their pricing is affordable. Most recently I ordered food to be distributed at my sister’s funeral, the menu being Colombo style- dryfish curry, curried pumpkin squash, jakfruit mallung, fried kingfish etc. We had no qualms about the quality of the food and just as expected the food was excellent. Ms Kamala even advised me as to the distribution of food due to the current Covid related restrictions. Thank you Ms Kamala, our families express their sincere gratitude in this regard!

Do not order any food from here! Food tastes different from how it used to be, I think the cooks/owner changed. The food gave me food poisoning and had to throw away half of the food because it was spoilt. Brought up the issue to a man in the phone and he said they would call me back. But, never called me back ever since. Bad customer service and food!

I got a take out last week dinner for 8 people but the food was so gross. I find the prices were expensive inadequate portion. If the food was tasty atleast you can sacrifice the price. I called rajaram to inform the poor food quality but the owner doesnt seems to be care about the quality. He is just keep on repeating they cater for lot of people and they do not have issues. As a curtesy he did not even offer apologies. I will not go to this place in the future and wont recommend this place to any community.

Went in to order the seafood mix for a small event and spoke to the owner? He seemed very arrogant and rude to begin with. He made it seem like they were really organized with their order forms which I liked but I specifically said no squid and he wrote down on the form no squid but when the food came there was squid in it. So what was the point of the form?? as well as they mixed up our order when we came to pickup. We thought the dish we ordered might be worth it but it ending up being mediocre for the price we paid.

Very rude Cashier / receptionist? ? He just refuses to listen to you when you say you called them before to order. And very bad attitude. Their quality has gone down terribly. I ordered Ghee Rice, but it was just dried yellow rice with a few raisins and cashews here and there. The fried chicken was like rock pieces. Their Malay Pickle is a joke. No dates at all, about 10 years ago it was the real Sri Lankan Malay Pickle. Now it's a mixture of sweet peppers in vinegar. And also they gave a very unappetizing dish of beans. The money that we paid is a waste. Very very poor service. It's not worth any stars.

I am disappointed that I'm forced to give one star because for the lack of service, quality and RESPECT that I received, this company is not worthy of any stars. I ordered food for a birthday part for 25 people all the way from Oshawa. When I picked up my ordered, my desert was reduced by a quantity of 5. When I called to inform them, they said I can come back all the way from Oshawa to pick the 5 or I would get a refund. When I went back to request my refund, the owner said he could only give me $2.50. That doesn't even cover my gas from Oshawa to Scarborough. I am baffled at the owners response and I am still having difficulty trying to comprehend what he thought I was going to do with a measly $2.50. But here is where it gets interesting. When I told him this, he didn't care. I told him that this is poor customer service and customers are going to be disappointed. In his arrogant reply with a disrespectful tone he said that customers will continue to come and that he didn't care about what we had to say. To summarize the quality of the food - My puttu mix was 95% plain puttu and was lucky if I got anything else in it. 25 people, got one fried potato in their puttu if they were lucky. Rainbow sandwhich had a hair in it. Lack of cleanliness. Spinach pastry was 99% pastry. No frills spinach pastry has higher quality than this. DISGUSTING

Quality has declined steadily over years. Is the eggplant curry truly eggplant or dirt in chili powder idk. My wife feels it tastes like socks. Further more, for an establishment to ride their name that was prevalent in the 90s, to throw out what barely constitutes as food to be catered is at the very least sinful. From terrible quality pittu, to just basic salt and pepper and heavy potato fish cutlet, these guys should revamp the menu.

I have been a regular of Raja Ram for a long time. Anytime my family and I think about celebrations, Raja Ram is our first option and they have never disappointed us. Their food is absolutely amazing and no matter what we order, we are always delighted with their dishes. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to similar places in the neighbourhood and I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.

They've dropped in quality of food. We had them cater food for our wedding and food was not too great. Also after the veggie curry cooled down it smelled spoiled so they must have used rotting veggies.

I don't even want to give them.a one * but I have to.Last night we catered food from Raja Ram. And I must say being their loyal customer for 18 years, I was really disappointed in their customer services. My nephew had gone to pick food, which was already order and paid prior. The owner tells my nephew how the food was already picked up by the same name, which was absurd because he was there to pick it up. My nephew sees a another man picking placing the food in their car and goes to talk to him. He comes to know that, the individual took our paid food and he had said how he didn't pay. So my nephew going back into the restaurant and the owner didn't seem to be bothered and said "oh these things happen" not even a sorry for their mistake. Being in the situation was very frustrating and all they said was nothing or did anything. The owner brushed it off and said take "that food" . How can the owner give food away to another person without question if they had paid for the food or asking questions. Well it's really sad to say that they lost not just one but 5 customers. Even when I had called, the owner simply said "these things happen" well it shouldn't happen!!! Always the food that they had provided was not the same quantity we had asked for, which was embarrassing when hosting for 40 people. Such a shame on them. Very bad service..... I can do go more.....

Generally I do not like to write reviews. However, in this case, I should do so, as I am so disgusted with the food and services of Rajahram. I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone , even o people I do not like, as it is not the caterers that existed sometime ago. DISGUSTING. The noodles I ordered was very dry and insipid. Even a novice cook will do better on their first attempt. The currys were floating in oil. I fell so ashamed when it was served to my guest. They hardly give you time for you to realize what is being given to you. The person who takes the order, hurries you through and gives you no chance for you decide. They do not deserve any rating. However as I am compelled do so, I give the lowest ie. 1*. I fully agree with the reviews of Kumar, Antoinette & Jany Kuha. .
